Chapter 12

After escaping from the police at a mall and avoiding a woman with a rocket launcher Wario and Waluigi were staying at a very crappy building

Wario and Waluigi went upstairs and inside the apartment building

Hey Sam. Waluigi said

Wario and Waluigi went into an appointment room and approached a man who was watching some wrestling on a tv

Hey Lloyd. Waluigi said

Hey Waluigi. Lloyd said

Anybody called me on the phone? Waluigi said

No. No calls. Lloyd said

Oh. Waluigi said

Some guy left this card. Sam said

Some guy? Waluigi said

Cop. Said he'd be back. Sam said

Sam gave the card to Waluigi who also gave it to Wario but he tossed it away

Hey Waluigi? Sam said

Yeah? Waluigi said

Who's this guy? Sam said

This here's my brother, Wario. Waluigi said

Wario? Sam said

Yeah. He just got out of the joint. Waluigi said

Oh. Sam said

He's gonna be staying with me for a few weeks. Waluigi said

Yeah. Okay. Sam said

See ya later. Waluigi said

Waluigi? the old man said

Yeah? Waluigi said

Did you get me my Cheez-Wiz, boy? the old man said

Waluigi checked his pocket took out a Cheez-Wiz and gave it to the old man

Here you go. Waluigi said

Wario and Waluigi then went upstairs again and went into an apartment

Here we are. Waluigi said

Is this it? Wario said

Well, it ain't much, but it's home. Waluigi said

How often does the train go by? Wario said

So often you won't even notice it. Waluigi said

Wario sits on the bed while Waluigi puts on the record player gives Wario some beer and now making dinner

What are you doing? Wario said

Making dinner. Waluigi said

Wario was thinking for a bit before he talked to Waluigi

I'm gonna quit work in the morning, first thing. Waluigi said

And how are you going to get to work, Mr. Lead Foot, Mr. Hot Redder, Mr. Motor Head? Wario said

Those cops took your license away. Wario said

Yup. Waluigi said

They got your name, your address. Wario said

No, they don't got my address. Waluigi said

What? Wario said

I falsified my renewal. Waluigi said

You put something down, didn't you? Wario said

I put down 1060 West Addison. Waluigi said

Yeah. Waluigi said

That's Wrigley Field. Wario said

Wow, that's nice. Wario said

I gotta hit the sack. Waluigi said

Waluigi was done cooking dinner and noticed sleeping on his bed

Hey, you sleaze! My bed! Waluigi said

Too late. Wario said

Really? Waluigi said

Yup. Wario said

Fine. You can have it. Waluigi said

Waluigi then sat on a chair and went to sleep to prepare for tomorrow

A few minutes later

Wario and Waluigi were still sleeping as the woman from yesterday appeared again and the police showed up as well but the woman needed to prepare something and drove off

This gentlemen, is the elegant abode of one Waluigi Blues. the fat sunglasses man said

Thank you. the first police officer said

Yeah. Thanks for your help, Mr. Mercer. the second police officer said

I kind of like the Wrigley Field bit. Mr. Mercer said

Yeah, real cute. the second police officer said

Shall we? Mr. Mercer said

Mr. Mercer and the police went upstairs and inside the apartment building

All right, Sam? Mr. Mercer said

Mr. Mercer and the police went into an appointment room and approached Sam who was still watching some wrestling on a tv

Hi, has my friend arrived yet? Mr. Mercer said

Friend? Sam said

Yeah. Failed to report in yesterday. Mr. Mercer said

I don't want no trouble. Sam said

You just tell us where they are and there'll be no trouble. the second police officer said

Alright. Sam said

Good. the second police officer said

The woman had a remote control device for something while Mr. Mercer and the police approached Wario and Waluigi's apartment

Stand back. Mr. Mercer said

Mr. Mercer kicked the door down while the woman pressed something on the remote control and the whole building exploded but luckily for Wario and Waluigi they managed to survive the wreckage

What the hell was that? Wario said

I have no idea. Waluigi said

It was crazy. Wario said

Yeah. It was. Waluigi said

Waluigi checked his watch and noticed something wrong

Wario? Waluigi said

Yeah. Wario said

It's almost 9:00. Waluigi said

So? Wario said

So we've gotta go to work. Waluigi said

Okay then let's go. Wario said

Yeah. Waluigi said

Wario and Waluig left for work while Mr. Mercer and the police came out of the wreckage

Wow. Mr. Mercer said

What the hell was that? the first police officer said

It was crazy. the second police officer said

Yeah. Mr. Mercer said

A few more minutes later

Waluigi was in a factory as he took two spray cans and then went into a man's office

Waluigi. the man said

Did you wanted to see me, sir? Waluigi said

Yes. Sit down Waluigi. the man said

Okay. Waluigi said

Waluigi approached the chair sat down on it and was sitting before the man

What's on your mind? the man said

I got to quit. Waluigi said

Quit? the man said

Yes. Waluigi said

Why is that, Elwood? the man said

I'm going to become a priest. Waluigi said

Well, okay. the man said

Really? Waluigi said

Yes. the man said

Wow. Waluigi said

Listen, i'll call payroll and have them get your severance pay ready. the man said

Waluigi and the man got up from their chairs and shook each other's hands

Well, thank you. the man said

Thanks for everything. Waluigi said

No problem. the man said

Waluigi took his briefcase and went out of the man's office of the factory and into the car with Wario

Well? Wario said

It's done. Waluigi said

Good. Wario said

Also. Waluigi said

What? Wario said

I got something. Waluigi said

Really? Wario said

Yeah. Waluigi said

Show it to me. Wario said

Okay. Waluigi said

Waluigi took out a piece of paper and showed it to Wario and Toad

What's this? Wario said

It looks like a piece of paper. Toad said

It's not a piece of paper. Waluigi said

It isn't? Toad said

No. Waluigi said

Then what is it? Toad said

This is the last known address of "Bones" Malone and "Blue Lou" Marini. Waluigi said

Wario looked at the address on the paper before putting it in his pocket

The Lord works in mysterious ways. Wario said

Yeah. Waluigi said

What? Toad said

So where are we going? Wario said

You'll see. Waluigi said

Another few minutes later

Wario and Waluigi were driving in the neighborhood and parked at a house

Is this it? Wario said

Yup. Waluigi said

Good. Wario said

Toad you stay here. Waluigi said

Really? Toad said

Yes. Waluigi said

Okay. Toad said

Wario and Waluigi got out of the car approached the house and knocked on the door as a woman appeared

Can i help you? the woman said

Mrs. Toronto? Wario said

Tarantino. the woman said

Ma'am, do you have a Thomas Malone or Louis Marini living here? Wario said

Wario and Waluigi are now getting the band back together but will they avoid the police while getting them after what happened yesterday stay tuned
