My pov

My name is Isabella prior . My parent are both the leaders of abnegation: Andrew and Natalia prior . I also have two sisters and a brother whose names are : beatrice , Maria and Caleb prior .

Today is my 16 years old birthday but too sadly I can't celebrate it because abnegation see it as indulgent and selfish. However I have a boyfriend from dauntless whose name is Alan Davis . However we can't let anyone know it before I become dauntless

He must already prepared me something for my birthday because he always like to give me surprise .

"Isabella come downstair to cut your hair ." Someone is calling me and I know that is my body guard Ted who is calling me

"I am coming." I put on my watch . It is the only decoration that I can wear because it can be considered as practical.

I open the door and sneak out the room. I rush downstair and mom is ready to cut my hair already in front of the mirror . She is so pretty but she has to hide the beauty in abnegation.

I sit down in front of the mirror . I am so pale like a sheet of paper . Mom starts to brush my hair

"Are you ready for tomorrow ?" Mom asks

"Yes I am ready. The test doesn't need to change our choice ." I shrug. "I know where I belong."

Of course , not in abnegation but maybe in dauntless . I shiver a little . The thought of betrayal is chiding me

"Right, no matter what you choose , we still love you."mom kisses my cheek.

"Of course , I love you too." I say

I feel so guilty because my mom seemed to already know what I am going to do . She starts to brush my hair and trim it. My hair falls on the ground in the dull blond ring. I am still sleepy but I have to meet Alan Davis today morning.

"We are going to dauntless for party tonight. What are you guys planning to do ." Father is already asking.

"I am going to see my friend." I say.

"We are going to stay at home to do homework." Maria winces . "Why I am not 16 yet."

I laugh out loud . My mom is finishing up with her job.

"Thank you for cutting my hair ." I nod at her

"Let's go eat breakfast." Mom smiles at me .

We walk to the kitchen. Dad is already serving the breakfast for everyone. I sit down beside my sisters . Caleb is sitting beside dad .

"Good morning sister ." Maria and beatrice both kiss me on my cheek.

Sabrina brown's pov

I sit in my office . I am the instructor and also a worker in control room. Max treated very well and he gives me this office because he wants to respect my privacy. Because of my past, I named myself Ace , so only Amar knows my true name because he is my brother

I am a girl with extremely short hair but no one actually know because I live by myself and no one actually saw me changed before . However when I was still in school, I met a girl who never laugh at my burned face .

She is from abnegation but I never have the will to ask her for her name but I still remember her face . I take a piece of paper out and start drawing. I am not an artist but I can draw her face and imagining how pretty she will be after she grow up.

"Do you know that Alan Davis is going to broke up with his girlfriend?" Amar jumps in.

"Amar! Knocks please!" I shout. "I don't like that you invade my privacy."

"Sabrina , it's fine . No one can see it." Amar rolls his face . "Plus you are boy too."

I didn't tell him that I am a girl but I only like girl after I met that girl from abnegation.

"Who you are drawing?" He tries to sneak a peak.

"Nothing, none of your business ." I roll my eyes

"I want to see it." He tries to take the paper from my hand . "It must be a pretty girl that you like ."

He didn't get it in the end and I shuffle it in the drawer .

"I am sorry." Amar lowers his hand . "Alan Davis is just an asshole . He chose rose but not his girlfriend Isabella prior ,"

Isabella ? I have heard the name before but I don't know where

"Prior ? Andrew and Natalia prior's daughter?" I frown

"She is choosing this year . She was planning to come to dauntless!" Amar complains . "Now it's over ."

"I don't care about her . I have someone in my heart." I put my hand on my chest. "Someone special."

Amar is surprised . He sits down . He is wandering

"What is the story!" He asks

"Nothing, she was the one who never laugh at my burned face but still trying to encourage me ." I laugh. "I don't know her name but she is from abnegation."

"Oh how sad ." Amar says . "Do you know anything about her ?"

My pov

I finished breakfast and leave the house alone . I am walking to the school. I and Alan Davis have a secret place beside school. It is a small garden that no one ever find it.

I am happy because I will see someone who I love . I push the door opens and see Alan Davis is sitting there on the stair .

"Hello Alan ." I try to hug him.

"I am not here to kiss you Isabella ." Alan shakes his head . "I am here to broke up with you."

"What hell is that? Why are you breaking up with me !" I scream. "Again ? How many time is it?"

He broke up with me before but I was begging him not to . This time I don't know why is he breaking up with me

"I fall into love with someone else ." He lowers his head . "I am not worth it."

"Who is she ?" I frown.

"You know who is she . She is someone that can give me more power ." He sighs .

I know only one person can: rose . Rose is Max's daughter

"Rose right? Alan I can give you too! My parent are the leaders of the government." I try to hug him.

"No, they can't. Dauntless are no longer working with abnegation. I was with you because that time we are still working with each other and your parent can help me ." Alan Davis folds his arms in front of his chest. "Rose is a permanent source."

"Okay Alan Davis , then never appear in front of me . You and I are done ." I cry and run away

I am so sad because he broke up with me . I am running so fast. However I can't let my parent find out that I am crying. I stop and wipe my tears off from my face .

"Are you okay?" Ted is there waiting. "The rumour is real. You were with Alan Davis ."

"Ted we are over ." I point at him . "Just go."

"I like you Isabella ." He grabs my hand . "I promise that I will like you forever ."

I don't want to hurt him. I push him away .

"No, I don't like you." I shake my head . "Please ted let me go."

"Why? Why you like him but not like someone who actually like you for so long." Ted grabs my shoulder

"Let go of me ." I shout. "I will call for help."

Sabrina brown's pov

I leave my office and walk alongside the chasm. Rose is standing there waiting for Alan Davis . I fold my arms . I hate someone who cheated

"Don't you think that he can cheat on his girlfriend because of you that he will cheat again?" I smirk at her

"I don't believe that he will. I can give him more than only love ." Rose shakes her head . "Ace , my dad treated you so well."

"I know so that's why I feel pity for him." I roll my eyes

One hand pushes me away. I sit on the ground . Alan Davis wraps rose into his arms.

"Oh you ace? Do you think that you will separate me and rose!" Alan Davis points at me . "Don't ever think about that "

"You will see where you will end up with." I get up and laugh . "You don't dare to touch me . Rose's dad begged me to be in this position."

"My dad will never beg anyone . You are lying." Rose shakes her head .

Max now is walking downstair . Max coughs a little

"Rose says sorry to ace now ." Max shakes his head . "He is the best instructor that I can get."

"Dad! I am your daughter !" Rose screams

"He was right. If anyone can betray their loved one , they will not be loyal to anyone . I am suspecting about the loyalty of Alan Davis already." Max nods at me

Alan Davis shivers a little . The party is starting. I turn around and walk away. I get into cafeteria . I see a girl. She has a same birth mark on her neck as her .

"Who is she ?" I point at her .

"She is Isabella prior . Alan Davis's ex girlfriend ." Amar shrugs . "She is like nothing happened ."

"Maybe can't tell her mom about it." I say

I know that her mom had relationship with my dad before . I heard about it.

"Is she the girl?" Amar asks

"Not sure ." I say. "I will talk to her maybe ."

"She just broke up Sabrina . If she was with Alan ,you are not her type ." Amar pats me on my shoulder

I don't know but I have to try. However Amar was right. She needs time . I have to talk to her other time . However she is choosing. How much time do I have . I have no time .

"Don't ever think to go near her ."
