Chapter 5– Android #8, The Alpha. The Ultimate Android will be Proven.
Three days passed as the resistance quickly realized the location of the last Dragon Ball thanks to hacking into the Blue Badge Army's network. Though they also found out information about a new project they finished creating. The newest Android, #8. They weren't sure about the new upgrade to it, but they knew its target, West City.
They immediately told Pierce about this and in return, he told Dr. Briefs about the situation as he started evacuating the city.
It didn't take long for the Blue Badge Army to attack as Pierce showed up on the battlefield. Before long, the new Android arrived, designated as Android #8. It appeared with white hair and yellow eyes, looking exactly humanoid.
"So, you're the new android? What's your upgrade?" Pierce asked as the machine said nothing. "Not a speaker, huh? I guess I'll have to test out your upgrades." Pierce said, standing in his fighting stance. Though it surprised him, because the Android was in the same fighting style as him.
Both Pierce and the Android attacked each other. Though each attack Pierce made was countered by the Android and hit back twice as hard. Pierce tried to change it up, but the android kept up with his skills and abilities, even his Aura Enhance. Android #8 was stronger, faster, and more clever. It basically had all the upgrades the other Androids had, but it also has information about his fighting styles through the past androids he has fought and beaten.
Android #8 sped into Pierce headbutting him on impact which sent Pierce back a bit. Before he could counter back, the Android pointed a finger and fired an energy beam into Pierce's shoulder then his leg, crippling him to the ground.
"Err, you are really a pain." Pierce said as Android #8 prepared to finish Pierce off. But to its surprise, Pierce rose up from the ground, ready to continue. "Don't act too shocked buddy. I can keep going… until I die." Pierce said, struggling to keep his balance. "But how about we change the game a little."
Pierce started using a simple fighting pose as Android #8 was confused, because he had nothing in his data about Pierce using this form. It's mainly because this is the form of fighting he used against Garmen when he first came to Earth, he hasn't used this old style in a long time.
Pierce rushed at Android #8 to attack, it prepared to counter but Pierce's hand lit up with aura for a quick second to give him the speed and power to punch the Android in the face. The Android quickly retorted with a swift kick to Pierce's knee, but he activated his Aura Enhance again and protected his knee.
"What's the matter, you look surprised?" Pierce said, vanishing before appearing behind Android #8 and kneeing him in the back, which sent him tumbling. "Let's end this!" Pierce rushed forward with quick powerful blows with his fists and kicks, while also countering the Androids attacks. Pierce ended it with a hard punch to the gut, causing #8 to puke out oil before Pierce jumped into the air and fired a all-out Azzura Light Wave, crashing Android #8 into the ground.
Pierce took a quick breath as the smoke started to vanish. Android #8 was still there, a little bruised up, but could still stand. This terrified Pierce as he descended to the ground. Android #8 smirked as Pierce smirked back and ready to continue the fight.
Android #8 rushed at Pierce again, but this time, his fist was caught by Omega who appeared on the battlefield.
"O-Omega? What are you doing here?" Pierce asked.
"The Commander saw the carnage go down, so she sent me to assist you." Omega said.
"Thanks, I appreciate it."
"Don't thank me yet. I'm afraid to say that even with my power, I wouldn't be able to beat this thing." Omega said. Pierce had to admit that was correct, seeing his battle power in the testing room, he was only around 5,000.
"Wait, what if I help? I'm not sure if this will work on an Android, but I'm willing to try anything at this point." Pierce said, holding out his hand. He closed his eyes and concentrated. His Aura Enhance activated as the aura spread to Omega, boosting his power past 10,000. "So, let's try a new training exercise. Trash duty." Pierce said, ready for the battle.
"Yes, let us finish this." Omega said.
Pierce and Omega rushed forward towards the Android, fighting with all their might, even when they've used up their 30 seconds. It was difficult for Android #8 to keep up, Pierce was using his old style of fighting and he had no data on Omega, so he was blind in the dark.
"Omega, let's finish this!" Pierce said.
"Right." Omega said as they rushed forward with the Aura Enhance covering both of them. Android #8 tried to block their attack, but Pierce let out a Kiai that knocked him off his guard as he and Omega pierced their fists through Android #8 and out the other side. This also damaged Android #8's core as he blew up on the spot.
"Haa, it's finally over." Pierce said.
"Not yet, the commander of the Blue Badge Army is still out there." Omega said.
Suddenly they both got a call. Pierce got a call from Kai who informed him about the Blue Badge Army finding the last dragon ball and Omega got a call from the resistance that the Blue Badge Army is attacking their headquarters.
Pierce and Omega quickly rushed back to the others as the carnage was already beginning.
"Hi, it's me, Goku. Whoa, what is this power? It's even greater than anything before. I'm not even sure these guys can face such a power like this. Possibly, maybe the dragon balls can be helpful in a way. Next time, Acqua, the Sea-Dragon. The End or Start of a War.
