-Dusa POV-

I couldn't believe my ears at what Courtney was saying! Not only was she in cahoots to suck humans dry of their scream, but she was doing it to a fully grown adult that Barri somehow knew about... and she also claimed that she ATE human CHILDREN! It made me disgusted! And I immediately agreed to her when she said to reveal the truth, since this had gone too far too quickly! I immediately helped to get the adult human out of that horrid place alongside Susie, the little girl being shocked at the words as well.

"She... she ate other kids?... Like me?" she asked, me frowning at that. "Does that mean... I'd have been eaten, too?" Susie asked, me sighing as I held her close with my right arm, since Hailey had to be supported by my left side, which was my dominant one.

"And we're going to make sure she never does it to anyone else, I promise," I said with seriousness as we went through the storage area of the scream canisters, but I opened the door and proceeded to prop it open with a crat of heavy canisters that were all full. After this, I escorted my two allies out of the area, me making sure to do one more thing to Susie. I took off her hat and her mask, which she was concerned at.

"B-But what if they see me?" she asked, me frowning at that.

"We need to prove you are not dangerous. And when they see how bad a state that miss Hailey is in, they'll have to believe anything we say," I said as we then turned a corner and saw that Randal was out in the open, him looking at us and gasping, him turning invisible and speaking to us.

"What in the heck happened? I turn my back for five minutes and there's an adult human with super pale skin? What happened?" Randal asked, Hailey then coughing and speaking.

"T-Those jerks... t-t-they... kidnapped me... 2 days... no food... barely a drink... can hardly breathe..." she said with a wheeze, which Randal recorded everything on a CDA recorder as I spoke next.

"Waternoose, Courtney Bonitez, and Boris Badenof were using some weird suction machine to siphon her screams, the same machine that was mentioned in that document that we were showed last night. She was about to be sent for a third round of siphoning her screams before we found her and stopped them... and then Courtney said that she did worse than kidnap kids to do it to. She claims she's eaten human children before!" I said, the last bit about Courtney being at a higher volume, mainly because there were a group of other workers coming down the hall, which included Marge, Betty, Carrie Williams, and the only member of SCP that had been hired at Monsters Inc for afterhours work, that being Ursa Shift, previously titled SCP Shapeshifter!

"Whoa, WHAT?!" Ursa asked as she looked at us and then gawked. "O-Oh my god..." she gawked as she then turned to look like a taller version of her original look before looking at Hailey. "What happened to you? You look pale as a ghost!"

"I... I need help... I'm so hungry a-and thirsty..." Hailey shivered before George then looked at her and Susie in fear, before then seeing that she was touching my head with no ill effect.

"I need you guys to spread word far and wide. Humans are not toxic, they are not dangerous, and Waternoose has been kidnapping humans, adults included, and siphoning their screams to power our city," I said, which made Carrie gawk.

"They DARE hurt a woman of my age?! That tears it! I'm going in there right now and giving them a piece of my mind! Where are they?!" Carrie asked angrily.

"A secret door hidden in the canister storage. I propped it open for anyone who wants to help out. I left Barri there to fight off with Courtney, but I don't know how it's going," I admitted with a timidity.

"She's a 3rd degree brown belt, she'll be able to handle that old hag! I'll help out, too," George said as he then rushed into the room next, followed by Carrie and then Ursa.

"I'll help spread word with Randal, especially to Roz! And what are you going to do? The CDA would detain you the moment they saw that you had a human with you!" Betty said with concern.

"I'm going to go to the area where they do simulations. I need to demonstrate a new form of energy to everyone, and I'll need someone to help carry extra scream canisters," I said, which earned me an audience with an invisible Vincent!

"I'll help with that right away!" he said, me being wary of him, but he then proceeded to grab some spare empties from nearby, 5 in total.

"I've got my eye on you, sneak," I frowned at him as we then went through the place, rushing as fast as we could to try and get more monsters to see us as well as get our group to the simulation room. In the end, we got a total of 18 other workers to see us... and five different CDA members saw the fragile form of Hailey, who had since opted to ride on Vincent's back.

"Human breach! Human breach!" they shouted as we rushed further to the simulation room, it being just in time for a simulation to occur with some other monsters, me then hitting the fire alarm so that the room would be locked from the entry that my allies had come in from, as it was supposed to lock for fires, as this room had five other exit points and the way that we came in from was the most at risk for fires.

"Ah! What is that?! What is THAT?!" asked the scare coach for the new hires, it being Jillian Foo. I then frowned at her as I simply had our two human friends on the ground and they looked around in confusion.

"Quick, someone say a funny joke," I said.

"W-Why? Wouldn't it make more sense to scare them?" asked the newest one to try and take the simulation, it being a blue monster with pink tentacle arms ending in three claws apiece.

"Mister Bile, hush! You do realize you're breaking numerous laws by doing this, right?" Jillian asked me in fear.

"Oh, I'm breaking the law? Waternoose kidnapped this human here, miss Hailey, a couple days ago, and has siphoned her screams forcibly without any food!" I said, which made her gasp. "And by the way? Did you not notice that Vincent was giving a ride to her and I was giving Susie a ride? That proves that humans aren't poisonous. So I'm begging you here, tell a funny joke, so we can prove that scream siphoning should be immoral, illegal, and unnescesary," I said.

"U-Um... Okay... What's the difference between a slug and a snail?" asked Mister Bile.

"Um... I-I don't know... what is it?" Susie asked.

"One of them had a huge load taken off of its back!" Bile said, which made Susie smirk and start to do something we all wanted, just in time for the CDA to come in. She started to laugh. And when she did? We gawked at how all five of the scream canisters on Vincent's person got filled to the point of being ready to burst, the television screens all fizzled out, and the lightbulbs ended up shattering one by one until only one remained by the time she finished laughing.

"What... was that?" asked one of the CDA agents.

"That? That is our answer to the energy shortage," Vincent smiled widely. "I can't believe it! If a child's laughter is enough to make all that happen, why have we focused on scream for this long without realizing it? It's incredible!"

"Still, we need to take the child," the CDA agent said, me holding onto her as if she were my own, holding her tight and refusing to let her go.

"No, she's not to be captured. She needs to go home," I frowned at them.

"Do you have any means to do so at this time?" one of the CDA agents asked.

"I wish we did, but her key card is being held by Waternoose, because he's the one who tried to kidnap her in the first place! And I'm sure he did the same with Hailey's door," I frowned.

"I just... I don't care about going home... I just want food... and some water... I'm so hungry and thirsty..." Hailey said, the CDA agents then going to Hailey and helping her up, seeing that she was super cold and clammy.

"Attention, Number 1, come to the simulation room immediately. Bring food and water," one of the agents said, me sighing in relief. I had to wonder how things were going for the team that went to beat up Waternoose?

-Carrie POV-

I couldn't BELIEVE what I heard from Dusa! That not only had Courtney Bonitez been helping in stealing human children, but it even stooped to adults to the point they were abused physically AND SHE ATE CHILDREN! If that were true, then it was a proven fact that humans weren't poisonous! I immediately joined George and Ursa in going to the secret room, me gawking at how it was hidden in the bomb shelter part of the factory! I rushed in and saw the fact that Courtney was on the ground, having been sufficiently beaten by Coco Bandifoot... wait... she was the one who stopped them? But then why did I hear her being called Barri by Dusa? Wasn't that her great grandma's name? Unless... was she...

"Barri's a halfbreed? Is it even possible?" I asked aloud, me then staying behind along with the others while 'Barri' left, which made the others look at her in surprise.

"Should we... should we follow her?" George asked... and then, Ursa pulled at George's arm and pointed towards where Courtney was. They gawked at how her bones actually started to heal back together, followed by her claws growing to be back to normal!

"She's dead... SHE IS DEAD!" Courtney shouted in fury, which I gawked at how even the trapped duo of Waternoose and Boris were getting concerned!

"She's gone off the rails! We need to stop her before she guts Barri behind her back!" Ursa said with seriousness as Courtney then tried to rush after the oblivious Barri, me then slapping her in the face as she turned the corner, her gasping in pain as I then frowned at her angrily.

"You want to eat children, you disgusting monster? Then eat your own!" I shouted at her, Courtney snarling as she then lengthened her claws, Ursa getting in the front and growing herself to a different form, which... actually was enough to actually scare Courtney! And it was unsettling to us as well! It looked like an upside-down, hairless cow with a giant eyeball at the top that had a freaky skin tongue connected to the cow's udder! And after being next to it, Courtney looked like she was getting some kind of massive headache. It made me wonder what was going on... and what this transformation was capable of... and then Ursa started to speak.

"Your Fear allows me to enter your mind," she said, me gawking at how Courtney's head jittered slightly... as for me and George, our heads started to get a headache... this monster... where was it from? But then it hit me. She turned into this exact same monster when she tried to cheat in the Scare Games!"Your Obligation allows me to control your hands." Now she was forcing Courtney to connect her claws together and rip them out, including the tissue connecting them!"Your Reason allows me to break your eyes." No, she didn't poke her eyes out, but she did get almost no sight in them, her eyes becoming completely blank with no irises at all!"Your Guilt allows me to loosen your neck." And this forced Courtney to get a loose neck, AKA, her head was no longer able to be supported by her spine! And for me and George, we gawked at how it actually afflicted us as well, but just a small bit.

"Your Expectation allows me to hide the truth." I suddenly felt as if I forgot some kind of horrible atrocity... it felt like I forgot something that happened to me at High School... but what was it?

"Your Tendencies have allowed me to make you FORGET!" Ursa shouted the last part, Courtney then shrieking before then falling over and passing out! It made me shocked as Ursa then turned back into her bear form, me looking at her in confusion, especially since I felt my neck get back to normal after, same with no problems with headaches... but I did have a feeling I forgot something horrid still.

"Sorry if it affected you two as well... I was aiming for Waternoose and Boris as well, but some of the effects would've hit you regardless," Ursa said.

"Ursa... what was that? It looked WAY too scary to be anything we've seen in this world! Where was it from?" I asked her.

"It's from a video game that Barri told me all about... crud, I-I mean Coco... I... I mean..." Ursa said before then seeing my upset face. "I assume you need an explanation, huh?"

"What's going on with Barri and you?" Carrie asked.

"Well... she comes from the past. Very far back in the past... from what I've learned, she came to this world after an incident involving Waternoose, which I guess involves this thing here. She said it would've involved her little sister, but she stopped it before it got out of hand... it seems we didn't catch on that it was going on recently," Ursa frowned.

"So... by how far back in the past are we talking about?" George asked.

"She told me she's from the year 2024. Her little sister was 9, now she's a teenager. And that monster? That freaky upside-down bovine? It comes from a video game she played called Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion." I gawked at how humans would be willing to torture themselves with such freaky abominations that had such power! "I only am able to use the basics for those transformations I can take, but it's how I was able to get that far in the Scare Games. Her mind is filled with freaky stuff. Like, in her world, SCPs aren't a sorority, but an internet community that makes fake monsters. You know that statue with six eyes I turn into sometimes? That's an SCP in her world, same with my real form, the teddy bear!"

"Well, now I see why kids are harder to scare! So we might never get power if this factory shut down from... whatever you did to them," George admitted.

"Well, I actually erased most of their memories aside from who they are, and the guilt of the horrible things they'd done. When they wake up, the mind games I did to them will make them want to turn themselves in immediately. The Mad Cow had similar powers in the game it came from, but it made them forget everything as well as force them to do things that I'd never want to do to others... such as perform surgeries on people and leaving their livers on their desks," Ursa said.

"Gghg... I think I might hurl from hearing that..." I admitted as I felt sick from that last bit.

"Please do it on Courtney and not me?" Ursa asked, me nodding as I did just that, making sure not to do it near her hands, but on her stomach instead.

"Maybe when you wake up, you'll realize the disgusting woman you are! Ptooey!" I spat out the last of the bile from my mouth onto her face, me looking at Ursa with a frown. Ursa, you stay here with them. I need to grab some CDA agents with George to get them detained. Do you see anything in here worth as evidence, aside from that giant machine?" I asked her.

"I can search the records on that computer, since I also saw into Waternoose's mind and saw his list of passwords. I'll get all the evidence to put them away for good, as well as tell the world about how human children are not at all toxic or dangerous... we need to learn when to laugh instead of cry, after all," Ursa said, me wondering what that last bit was.

'Uh... what was that about laughter? I... I don't understand that last sentence."

"When Barri was back at my sorority, the CDA were called in because of ROR being sore losers and trying to out her for being a human/monster crossbreed. It's where she showed us that, even so much as a chuckle from an adult human would be enough to give all the lights of our house the death treatment. She then paid us back by fixing all of them," Ursa smiled.

"So... human laughter's stronger than human scream?" George asked as another voice then appeared after.

"About 20 times more effective, it would seem," said a voice that I gawked at. It was none other than Dean Hardscrabble, her being joined by a couple CDA members as well as Celia and Randal! "It would appear that yet another surprise has been added to the pile. Never did I think that Waternoose would stoop so low to the point of kidnapping children AND adult humans, and siphoning their scream to the point of hospitalization... the poor human I met on the way in here had to be rushed to a hospital before we could send her home, because she had problems breathing while she ate," Hardsgrabble said with seriousness.

"So... what happened in here? I heard some weird freaky voice in my head all the way at the front entrance, same with everyone in the place... and then the results were that everyone forgot their most tragic memories..." Celia said with seriousness.

"Um... ehehe... that was my fault. I didn't know that the mental abilities of this monster from Barri's past-" Ursa said as she then turned into the ghost cow, it making even Dean Hardscrabble jump out of fear before she turned back. "-would have the ability to do that to all of Monsters Inc."

"Again, yet another surprise... I knew you could turn into other forms, but where would you think of that one?" Celia asked.

"Barri, before she came here from a door. A horror game she called Spooky's Jumpscare Mansion. Ironically, not the scariest thing in her head. That'd be the form of this thing," she said as she then turned into a horrible creature that looked like... well...

"WHAT DA F #*?!" Hardscrabble swore when she saw... a horrible abomination that looked like a television with gigantic thorny arms, pulsating organs, and a duo of throny vines that were conjoined to a verticle jaw that had four eyes instead of nostrils!

"She calls this form Photoshop Flowey. Lame name for something so freaky, huh? Scared a whole mess of kids to the point of wetting the bed with this one!" she smirked as she then turned back to normal.

"Y-Yeah... let's just get them cuffed and all, right?" one of the CDA members said, me nodding at him. We had to work together to get everything handled... and hopefully we could send Susie home.
