Chapter 3: Hard Work
Review Replies
Shadowkanji: well for toga could be shallot that she gets with? Also will goku and izuku be able to use their great ape forms to become ssj4.
ThermalsniperN7: It's up in the air. But I have a potential OC lined up for her.
Dragon Emperor0: Probably best if it's someone else like that, since Shallot is a DB Legends character.
Skim Beeble: I think All for One should take on the role of the red ribbon army, think about it, his personal doctor and dr gero can have a reason to create Cell.
ThermalsniperN7: … That's actually a great idea.
Dragon Emperor0: Or he could actually be working with the RR Army. Either works, but Cell could be reworked as an advanced type of Nomu.
This chapter is in tribute to Akira Toriyama. Author of Dragon Ball, inspiration to many, and The Godfather of all anime. This story wouldn't exist without him. We miss you sensei, rest in peace.
-Izuku Midoriya's house-
Izuku laid on his bed not long after the acceptance letter came in from UA, and was honestly not doing much, on account of the past few months being… A lot for the Saiyan to handle.
As he continued to relax on his bed, tossing an All Might bean bag ball into the air and catching it in a set loop, he soon got a text message from Mina.
Looking at what she sent, he found a picture of her in a black set of underwear, black panties and a black bra with a clear view of her ass while she smirked down at the camera.
"Like what you see?" She questioned, a kiss emoji next to her text.
"... A little." Izuku texted back in admission with a massive blush on his face.
"You have a terrible poker face." Mina chuckled back with a corresponding emoji. "So, what do you like best?" She questioned, sending a milk and peach emoji as a sort of innuendo.
"The latter." Izuku replied.
"More of an ass man?" She smirked, catching his meaning.
"Are you aware of how yours looks?" Was Izuku's rhetorical question.
"I see your point. I guess I'll have to give you more chances to look at it." The pink girl teased.
That remark proved to be very stimulating for the young Saiyan as he read that, his body—and tail in particular—reacted pretty much instantaneously.
This girl knew how to get this reaction out of him without even being close by… Definitely a keeper.
This didn't last long, however, as he soon got a message from someone else: All Might.
"Come by Dagobah Beach. I want to have a talk with you while I have the chance." It read.
(Later)
Izuku sighed as he made his way to the beach where he completed his training and found his mentor standing there waiting for him.
"Hey." The Saiyan called as he walked towards the Symbol of Peace.
"Glad you came by. I wanted to talk to you about your exam performance." The blonde told his student.
"I saw my points." Izuku nodded. "Anything of note to say?" He asked.
"You and Young Goku have definitely left your marks on the faculty. You two are absolute powerhouses." The man stated in reply. "Any villains that try attacking you might as well be praying to the heavens." He added with a chuckle.
"That was probably due to our secondary forms, the Oozaru, right?" The boy asked.
"Yep. Seeing you destroy the zero pointers with those forms has given them a good idea of your strength level, and it's pretty high." The No. 1 Hero told him in reply.
"That's good to hear." Izuku nodded. "The backlash from One for All is a serious issue. Even if I'm able to withstand it, it's not going to work long term as is." He added.
"Agreed. There has to be some way to get your body to adjust to it." The man mused with a nod. "But what that thing will work out to be is another thing entirely." He mused.
"It's going to take some time to figure out what that is." Izuku mused with a sigh.

The next day at UA, the teachers were reviewing the results of the Entrance exam.
"Hey, anybody got any notes on the exam results?" Powerloader questioned.
"I got it." Vlad King said as he pulled said results up.
"Personally, I'm most interested in the two boys with the Simian type quirks." Thirteen nodded.
"That kind of transformation type quirk is exceedingly rare." Ectoplasm mused.
"What about what they did to the robots before the zero pointers showed up? Were those part of their quirks?" Snipe wondered.
"More than likely that's a version of the strength their great ape forms are capable of in miniature." Midnight noted.
"That's actually interesting. They seem to have good control over their power in both forms, too." Nezu noted.
"I'm not surprised. Young Goku's mentors are his grandfather Gohan and the elder man's mentor, Master Roshi, the Turtle Hermit." All Might nodded.
"The famous martial artists?" Everyone muttered.
Off to the side a certain underground hero regarded Izuku and Goku with analytical looks, wondering what to think of them.
(Timeskip)
A week or so later, Izuku sighed slightly as he continued to pack his backpack to head off to UA, making sure that he got everything he needed so that he wouldn't have to ask for help.
"Do you have everything you'll need, honey?" Inko asked, wanting to see her son off to his first day at UA.
"Looks like I do." The boy nodded.
"Good." The woman nodded before pulling her hulking son into a hug. "I'm so proud of you, sweetie." She said with that gentle smile only mothers could learn to use.
"Thanks, mom." The gentle giant smiled back as he returned the hug.

Meanwhile, in the Son family farmhouse, Goku was currently in the process of scarfing down a veritable three course breakfast before he had to go to school himself.
The boy's mother and grandparents were a bit concerned that their son wouldn't get much at lunch when he was at school.
Not for a lack of appetite on his side—rather a lack of enough food on the part of the school itself.
They may end up having to supply Goku with enough lunch to get through the day if that prophecy comes true.
"Goku, your breakfast is supposed to be eaten in a timely fashion but also savored. Not inhaled." Pam told her grandson while she ate her breakfast at a much slower pace.
"But it's so good!" Goku whined comically in between mouthfuls.
"He's going to clear out the entire cafeteria." Matabi groaned.
"And a nearby market if he finds one…" Gohan muttered in agreement.
(Later)
The two Saiyans made their way to their classroom after getting to UA, wondering to themselves what class they were going to be in.
"Hey Izuku, what's your class?" Goku asked as the two walked through the halls of their new school.
"Class 1-A, it was on our acceptance letters, remember?" The gentle giant said.
"Oh yeah… Where even is it?" The not-so-mentally-bright Saiyan wondered.
Izuku was about to answer, but he found himself stopping when he saw their destination to his left. Goku noticed it too, and both blinked at the size of the door.
"... Well, at least I don't have to duck under the door this time." The gentle giant shrugged.
"Yeah." Goku nodded as the two opened the door.
"Get your feet off of that desk!" The same bespectacled teen from the exam barked at Katsuki.
"Oh great, him again…" Goku muttered with a frown, getting a raised eyebrow from Izuku.
"Am I missing something?" He asked.
"He's the guy who was giving us a hard time in the entrance exam, remember?" The shorter Saiyan stated.
"I remember, I just got the sense you had more of a hard time with him than I did." The taller Saiyan explained.
"We shared the same exam area, so you'd be right." Goku nodded.
The bespectacled boy continued to argue with the Pomeranian for a minute or two before they both took notice of the two Saiyans in the doorway.
"It's them." The blue haired teen uttered before zipping up to them. "I'm Tenya Iida, and I would like to apologize for my prior behavior toward you both." He told them with a bow.
"Apology accepted." Izuku nodded in reply.
"Yeah." Goku nodded.
As the three boys stood in a brief silence, Izuku soon found himself the subject of someone leaping into his arms and hugging his neck.
"Hi, Izu~!" Mina sang as she looked up at him with a smile.
"Well, today is certainly going well." Izuku chuckled.
"What the-? Who's this?" Goku questioned.
"Mina Ashido. I met her a short while before I started training for the UA entrance exams." The taller boy explained in reply.
"He's just being modest. We actually started dating last week." The pink girl smiled, nuzzling herself against Izuku's cheeks.
"Wait, what?!" Katsuki shouted in comical shock.
"Hey, I know those muscular hairdos!" A familiar female voice exclaimed, prompting the two boys to turn and see Ochako coming their way.
"Hey, Ochako!" Goku smiled.
"Nice to see you got into UA as well." Izuku nodded with his own smile.
"Yeah. I'm kinda excited about orientation, what about you guys?" The brunette smiled.
"I'm more excited for the fighting." Goku shrugged in reply.
"You're always excited for anything related to fighting." Izuku deadpanned.
"I'm just looking forward to getting to know everyone." Mina shrugged.
Right after she said that…
"If you're here to make friends, pack your stuff and leave." A tired voice none of them knew spoke up, causing them to turn and see a tired looking man doing an impression of a grumpy caterpillar.
That caused Izuku to shiver since bugs freaked him out.
"You wanna get squashed, little bug? Don't start talking, it skeeves me out." The larger boy shuddered.
"I'm not a bug; this is my sleeping bag. Now go take your seats." The man replied flatly as he got out of his sleeping bag while the group of teens got seated. "Hello, everyone. I'm Shota Aizawa, your teacher." The man told them, much to their comical shock.
"You gotta be kidding me…" The two Saiyans groaned, facepalming.
"Put these on and meet me outside on the sports field." The man told his students as he pulled twenty tracksuits out of his sleeping bag.
Everyone's brains stopped braining at that.
"... Where'd he get a sleeping bag of holding?" Goku wondered in bewilderment, causing some of the others to laugh.
(Later)
"What? A quirk assessment test?!" Everyone exclaimed in surprise.
"You heard me. We're not even going to bother with orientation." Aizawa told them. "Here at UA, we aren't bound by the usual rules, so that gives teachers free reign in how they teach." He continued.
"Okay, but why a quirk assessment test?" Goku questioned, scratching his head. "You guys already saw what we can do during the entrance exam. So what's the point, even?" He added.
"Indeed. It honestly seems redundant." Izuku nodded.
"While true, there's something else you may have failed to consider." Aizawa told them in reply. "It's best you see for yourselves. Bakugo, what was your farthest softball throw back in middle school?" He questioned, looking at the pomeranian haired teen.
"Sixty Seven meters." The blonde replied.
"Try again, but with your quirk this time." The man told him.
"Alright, fine." The boy shrugged as he caught the ball that was thrown his way and walked to the circle. "Any restrictions?" He asked.
"Anything goes; just stay in the circle." The man replied.
"Just know you asked for it." The Pomeranian sighed as he wound up his arm. "DIE!" He yelled as an explosion from his palm sent the ball flying with his throw far past 67 meters—surprising everyone who wasn't accustomed to Katsuki's power.
"See? This is what I'm talking about; Assessing the limits of your quirks and evaluating your potential as pros." Aizawa explained as he showed Katsuki's distance, which was 406 meters.
"Whoa are you kidding me?!" A boy, Kaminari, gasped in surprise.
"I wanna go! That looks like fun!" Mina exclaimed.
"This is great! Getting to use our quirks as much as we want!" Another boy smiled.
"This looks like fun!" Mina exclaimed with a grin.
"Fun?" Their teacher interjected coldly. "You're training to fight dangerous villains, aid people in disasters and who knows what else… And you call this fun?" He questioned.
"Oh no, he's gonna be one of those types…" Izuku groaned, facepalming.
"Yep…" Goku sighed in agreement.
"You all have three years to be ready for what the world is going to throw at you. So here's how this is going to work: Whoever comes in last place gets expelled." The man told his students, much to their shock.
"What?!" Goku gasped. "The hell is wrong with you?!" He questioned.
"This is how hero hopefuls with no potential get weeded out." Aizawa told him, not even batting an eye. "You better show me it's no mistake you're here." He added.
"This is pissing me off." Izuku growled, cracking his knuckles. A habit he developed to try and keep his temper in check.
"Easy. You can hopefully blow off some steam in the tests." Mina told him as she rubbed his shoulder.
50 Meter Dash
Izuku stretched as he waited for his turn for the first test, while Goku was doing in place jumping jacks to warm himself up.
"Son, Midoriya, you're up!" Aizawa called at last, prompting the two to get into position.
"Bet you I'm faster." Goku taunted with a challenging smirk.
"Bet you you're slower." Izuku shot back with his own smirk.
The two blasted off at the same time, zooming along the track at unreal speeds, before skidding to a halt at the end of the track.
".004 seconds for both racers!" The robot exclaimed, much to everyone's shock.
"I didn't even see them move!" Iida gasped.
"So fast!" Mina gasped.
'Ki enhanced speed. Not exactly a quirk use, but it works just as well.' Aizawa nodded.
Grip Test
Izuku sighed as he took the test device and simply squeezed, not bothering to use his Ki as it was unnecessary—his naturally superhuman strength was more than enough.
He was able to clock in at 975 kgs, with Goku coming up behind him at 923 kgs.
"Whoa!" The other guys gasped in surprise.
Standing Long Jump
Goku whooped as he jumped into the air and instead of getting himself further with Ki, he instead whistled, and landed on a yellow cloud that sailed him the rest of the way.
This was Nimbus, a sentient cloud that was gifted to him by Master Roshi during his training.
"Where'd he get that cloud from?" Kaminari wondered with a blink.
"That's convenient…" Another boy, Sero, nodded.
"It looks comfy…" Ochako nodded.
Izuku came up next, and instead of using Ki, he just did a standing jump clear across the track.
"Did he just…?" A black haired girl, Momo Yaoyorozu, trailed off with wide eyes.
"That's one Hulk sized leap…" Mina gasped.
Repeated Side Steps
"… Think we should pull a Saitama?" Goku questioned, looking at Izuku.
"Oh yeah." The giant nodded.
Then they sidestepped so fast that they left afterimages behind. It actually became hard for Aizawa to tell which direction they were going.
'Okay, now that's just ridiculous.' He deadpanned mentally.
Ball Throw
Ochako was first to do the ball test after Katsuki, and by using her quirk—got a score of… Infinity.
"You actually threw that into space!" Goku yelled, his eyes nearly bulging out of their sockets.
"That's pretty insane." Izuku muttered.
"Midoriya, you're up next." Aizawa told the large teen, tossing him a ball.
"Alright…" The Saiyan boy nodded as he took his ball and readied himself to throw it, and decided to finally use One for All to get the best score.
Aside from Ochako's, of course.
Channeling One for All into his right arm, he tried to avoid as much backlash as he could. Mid throw, however, he had an idea and focused it into his right index finger at the last moment, sending it flying with a sonic boom that blew everyone's hair back.
And as the ball flew, he then conjured an Omega Blaster—and tossed it at the ball—and caused another explosion, sending it farther.
Aizawa looked at his phone for the result and almost groaned in exasperation at it when it showed.
"... You are too powerful, I swear." He sighed, showing that Izuku had sent the ball over a kilometer away.
Izuku only huffed as he turned away, his tail swishing behind him.
Goku, meanwhile, decided to use his newly regrown tail to his advantage—grabbing the ball with said prehensile limb.
"Okay, this should be good." He said to himself with a smirk as he got himself ready.
Flicking his tail a few times, he swung it as hard as he could as soon as it got a good grip on the ball, allowing the orb to be sent flying through the air at a considerable distance.
"That tail of yours must be seriously durable." Aizawa remarked, showing that Goku had gotten a similar score as Izuku and Katsuki.
(Later)
The tests wrapped up pretty quickly, so now the newly assembled Class 1-A gathered around so that they could see the results of the assessment.
"Alright, I'm going to just show the full list. There's no point in going over each individual score." Aizawa said as he brought up the list, showing that Izuku, Goku and Katsuki were in the top five.
"Heh, lucky us." Izuku remarked with a small smirk.
"Heh, suck it, nerds." The Pomeranian smirked.
"And I was lying, no one's going home." The man states. "That was just a rational deception that was meant to make you go all out in the tests." He added.
"... Worst. Lie. Ever." Goku deadpanned. "Of all time." He added.
"I want to punch something. Or someone." Katsuki growled.
"Unbelievable…" Izuku groaned in exasperation.
"Well, that's the end of class. Grab a syllabus from the classroom before you leave." Aizawa told them before he walked off.
"Aizawa, that was a rotten move!" All Might barked as he approached the man.
"I wanted to get a decent idea of what the students were capable of." The man told the blonde. "Or more accurately, Son and Midoriya. There's something different about them, but I'm not sure what." He continued.
"They have similar powers, similar physiology, but different training." All Might nodded. "But I've spoken to their parents and Master Roshi. They're most volatile asset is their Oozaru forms, and in young Midoriya's case: his anger." He added.
"He looks ready to demolish a building with a one-inch punch at times, so I believe that." Aizawa nodded. "But their Oozaru forms… They don't seem like a normal quirk. They feel like something else." He mused.
"You might be overthinking things a bit, but stranger things have happened." The No. 1 Hero mused as well.
(Elsewhere)
Towards the end of the day, with Izuku, the boy was walking home on his own, a deep scowl on his face as he made his way down the sidewalk.
He would have considered walking home with Goku, Iida and Ochako or Katsuki, but due to how the day went, he didn't want to risk his temper getting the better of him.
'I really want to destroy something right now…!' He thought as he grit his teeth.
"Izuku!" The voice of Mina called as the pink girl zipped up next to him.
"Mina?" The Saiyan questioned, looking at the girl. "What're you doing here?" He questioned.
"You seemed frustrated after what happened today, so I wanted to see what was up." The faux alien girl explained in reply.
"I honestly don't think anyone should be near me right now. I'm angry, and you wouldn't like me when I'm angry." The boy sighed, shouldering his backpack, right as the girl bounced in front him.
"I dunno, I like you just the way you are." She smiled.
"Even if I accidentally destroy a mountain?" The gentle giant questioned.
"Even if you destroy a mountain." The acid-using girl smiled back in reply.
Taking the boy's hand, Mina pulled him along next to her, getting up as high as she could to kiss him on the cheek.
"U-Uh…!" Izuku uttered in surprise, a small blush coming over his face.
"Come on, you're coming home with me." Mina told him, dragging him along.
"Wha–? Hey! Where are we going?" The giant Saiyan asked with a small yelp.
Mina didn't answer, only dragging him along with a grin on her face.
(Elsewhere)
"Oh man… I'm so hungry!" Goku groaned as he wobbled away from UA at around the same time as Izuku, when a hand was placed on his shoulder.
"You okay?" Ochako asked upon catching up to him, getting his attention.
"Oh… Hey Ochako." Goku groaned as he held his stomach. "I'm just hungry. Lunch was nowhere near enough for me." He told her.
"That's surprising, considering the two bowls of rice and platters of Yakisoba you ate." Iida noted.
"If you saw how big breakfast is for me, you'd have a pretty good idea of how demanding my appetite is." The boy told him as his stomach grumbled.
"I can take you somewhere to eat if you'd like." Iida offered.
"Oh yes please…!" The combat junkie sighed, looking for anything to put in his stomach.
(Elsewhere)
Meanwhile with Izuku and Mina, the girl was still dragging the boy along.
"Okay, seriously, where are we going?" Izuku questioned, getting a little bored of this whole thing.
"My room, obviously." The girl replied. "Mom's not home right now so we should be able to hang out without any interruptions." She told him.
"Um… Okay." Izuku shrugged, feeling like hanging out would cool his temper.
Upon reaching Mina's house, Izuku was dragged inside by the pink skinned girl, where she sat him down on the couch and straddled herself in his lap.
"You really wanna make out with me, don't you?" The Saiyan chuckled.
"Less wanting to just shits and giggles and just to get your mind off what happened today." Mina explained.
"Not that I blame you. That stunt Aizawa-sensei pulled was less than pleasing." Izuku sighed in understanding.
"Yeah…" The acid girl nodded as she hugged him around his neck and kissed him, moaning in bliss as she took his slight surprise as an invitation to slide her tongue into his mouth.
After recovering from his initial bout of surprise, Izuku wrapped his arms around her waist and kissed back, his own tongue pushing hers back and invading her mouth.
As the two separated after the boy spent close to five minutes making out, Mina's eyes opened and small pink hearts could be seen in them as her breath remained heavy as she caught it.
"Oh man… That felt so good…" She breathed, leaning on his chest and nuzzling her head in the crook of his neck.
"It really did…" Izuku sighed as he held her close.
"… Wanna keep going? If you do, I'm more than willing." Mina hummed as she ran her hands down the boy's shoulders to his chest, teasing him with the possibility of her taking his shirt off.
"Only until your mom gets home." Izuku answered. With that, they started making out again, Mina unbuttoning his shirt while he did hers, revealing the redish pink bra she was wearing.
Mina could also see Izuku's muscles under his shirt, which she swore had to be made from diamond or marble with how they looked.
"Mmmm, you're perfect." The acid girl smiled as she pulled back, slowly starting to kiss him down from his cheeks, to his neck, and then his chest.
Izuku sighed a bit as she did what she did, enjoying it while he could. He then did the same, kissing her in similar areas before motorboating her pink bosom, before kissing her again.
And as they separated…
"I love you." The two gasped as they pulled apart, breathing heavily.
"Do you now?" Hahari spoke up, causing them to snap their heads to the front door where they saw the model in question smirking like an absolute gremlin.
"... W-We can explain!" Mina squeaked in embarrassment, her cheeks turning purple.
"I really should've known this would happen, you're so much like me." The model MILF sighed with a smile.
"I can confirm that…" Izuku muttered with a blush.
Well, at least he didn't have to worry about Hahari trying to castrate him with a rusty teaspoon…
Dragon Emperor0: Hey guys. As the announcement at the top says, this chapter is a tribute chapter in honor of Akira Toriyama, the creator of Dragon Ball. Without him we wouldn't have the series or the anime industry that we know today—so we're showing our love the best we can. It's a sad time for us anime fans, but at least his legacy lives on.
ThermalsniperN7: And what a legacy it is. It started small like everything else does, but look at it now. The fanbase is global, and it has a huge assortment of merchandise to accompany it—and every Shounen protagonist since has been based on Goku. That's how you know you did your franchise right.
Dragon Emperor0: Damn straight. Now onto the chapter, as you can see, Izuku and Goku are doing just fine in class, and Izuku and Mina's relationship is now entering a steamy stage.
ThermalsniperN7: Given how Mina is, it doesn't really feel like a surprise, but then again, there were a few timeskips, so that could be why it feels the way it does.
Dragon Emperor0: Next time we'll be handling the battle trials, and for those of you who are expecting a rendition of canon, sorry, but that's not happening. The matches next time will be Izuku & Mina vs Katsuki & Iida, and Goku & Ochako vs Ojiro & Hagakure. We're going completely different with this one so… get ready.
ThermalsniperN7: Yeah, things are gonna be interesting in the battle trials, so hold on to your butts. Anyway, see you next time.
