Hello all Storm here with a new story! And here it's another Chaotic story, only this time we have Naruko and her being born on Earth rather than coming from the Elemental Nations. And unlike Naruto who uses a mixed deck, Naruko instead will favor one Tribe, which I'm sure you can guess which one from the title. So, without further ado, let's get chaotic!
I own nothing
The bell echoed through Konoha Academy, signaling the end of the day with all the students filing out of class. Most eager to head home after a long day in school while some of the students stayed behind, pulling out decks of cards or going on their laptops as they began playing Chaotic.
A card game that had quickly grown in popularity among kids and teenagers, and even a few adults. Where players battle each other using Creatures, Mugic and BattleGear, along with choosing a Location card for where their Creatures battle each other. With players also being able to battle each other in online matches, as well as being able to trade physical cards or scanned versions on their Code Scanners.
Though one student had rushed out of school the moment the bell rang, but rather than head home, they instead headed to a local card shop.
The student was a fifteen-year-old girl had lightly tanned skin, long bright blonde hair held together in pigtails and ocean blue eyes, along with having three whisker birthmarks on her cheeks. While her attire consisted of black sneakers with orange trimming and soles, form-fitting black pants that hugged her hips and ass nicely, a black tank top showing hints of her cleavage and a dark orange jacket with red trimming that went down to just below her breasts.
This was Naruko Uzumaki or, as she's known by her Chaotic Screenname, FlameVixen98. With her being eager to reach the card shop, knowing there'd going to be a new shipment of Chaotic cards today.
'Here's hoping there are some good UnderWorld cards!' Naruko thought, hoping she'll be able to add some new UnderWorlders to her deck.
It wasn't long before Naruto reached the card shop and went inside, making her way to the Chaotic cards before smiling in excitement at seeing the new structure decks and tins for UnderWorlders.
'Awesome! This one has Kopond, High Muge of the Hearth. That's even better than his normal card!' Thought Naruko, her smile growing at seeing one of the tins had the UnderWorld High Muge in the front.
Grabbing it, Naruko chose another tin before grabbing some UnderWorld structure decks as well. Once she had enough, the whiskered blonde began picking out the booster packs and booster boxes she wanted. Choosing ones for OverWorlders, Danians, Mipedians and especially UnderWorlders.
After getting all the ones she wanted, Naruko went to the counter and paid for all her purchases and exited the card shop. Grinning as she opened the Kopond tin, seeing his card on top of the rest and looked through them.
'Plenty of new Mugic too, the UnderWorld Refrain of Denial, Melody of Malady, Song of Revival, Discord of Disarming and Deserter's Finale! And more Muge's, Vyll, Geltod and Tomugar!' Naruko thought, feeling excited at getting so many new Mugics and Muges.
Her excitement only growing as she opened the other tin to find Takinom, as well as Nivenna and Skithia, three of her favorite Creatures. Along with other powerful UnderWorlders like Ragetrod, Nauthilax, Atrapol and Drakness.
'This great! So many cards I've been trying to get, my deck is going to be amazing! Though it's still annoying I haven't found a Chaor card, yet.' Thought Naruko, having been trying to get her hands on a Chaor card with little success, not helped by how anyone that has one would never trade such a powerful card.
"I'm not even surprised you went to get more cards the moment school ended." Someone said, pulling Naruko from her thoughts and looked to see who it was.
Seeing another fifteen-year-old girl with pale skin, shockingly pink hair that went down to the middle of her back with a red hairband to keep her bangs back and green eyes. With her wearing navy blue ankle boots, white short shorts, a black shirt and a high-collared dark pinkish-red short-sleeved jacket over it with white trimming.
"Hey Sakura!" Naruko said, smiling at the pinkette before going back to looking at her cards, making the pinkette sigh as she walked beside the Uzumaki.
"You know if you spent half as much time focusing in class as you did collecting Chaotic cards, your grades might be better." Stated Sakura, having stopped keeping track of the time she's see Naruko either dozing off in class or just not paying attention.
"My grades are perfectly fine; I'm passing aren't I. Besides, how could I pass up the chance when there were new cards coming today, I needed to get there before they were picked clean." Said Naruko while waving off her concern as Sakura looked at the cards she had, seeing they were all UnderWorlders.
"UnderWorlders again? I thought you'd have enough of those by now." Sakura said, knowing Naruko's deck consisted mainly of UnderWorlders while still having some OverWorlders, Danians and Mipedians.
"Nope! There are still a lot of cards I need, but it never hurts to always have spares just in case." Naruko said, preferring to have multiple copies of the same card in case she needs to trade them for better cards.
Especially when you count how no two copies of the same card are the same, each having their own unique code and varying stats.
"I guess. But I still think it's strange you primarily use UnderWorlders of all Creatures. I figured you would've preferred OverWorlders." Said Sakura, understanding where she's coming from since it was good to have plenty of cards to use.
But couldn't deny she still found it strange even now that the whiskered blonde preferred UnderWorlders. Having thought when Naruko first started playing Chaotic, she was just testing out which Tribe suited her. But the more she played the more UnderWorlders she used until she became one of the best UnderWorld players around.
"Hey, I might be lazy when it comes to school, enjoy pulling pranks and teasing people, and I can't stand bullies and assholes. But when it comes to monsters and Creatures, I am a proud edgy bitch." Said Naruko with a smirk.
While she'll admit OverWorlders were really cool, she much more preferred the dark and cunning UnderWorlders, finding them more appealing than the other Tribes.
"…You know most girls wouldn't proudly call themselves a bitch." Sakura stated dryly, which only made Naruko's smirk grow.
"Well most girls think being called a bitch is a bad thing, I prefer seeing it as being called strong, confident and absolutely terrifying. And who else is like that? Takinom, Nivenna, Skithia, Lyssta, all UnderWorlders are some of the baddest Creatures in Chaotic." Naruko said, while the pinkette couldn't deny there were plenty of powerful UnderWorlders.
"Besides, can you really talk when all your Creatures are ones that are either really strong physically or can do Earth Attacks, along with Muges for support?" Added Naruko, knowing Sakura preferred Creatures with overwhelming strength and had the Earth Element, regardless of what Tribe they're from, while also having Muges as support with Mugic to either inflict damage or heal their team.
"It works, doesn't it? I remember it working on you a few times, too." Sakura replied with a smirk, having been able to defeat Naruko a few times in online matches.
"Yes, you're definitely one of the strongest Chaotic players I know." Naruko said, smiling kindly at her while making Sakura look at her suspiciously.
"And not just one of the strongest, but also the kindest, smartest and prettiest friends a girl could ask for. But still not afraid to kick someone's ass when they deserve it." Said Naruko, which only made the pinkette more suspicious.
"What do you want?" Questioned Sakura, already knowing Naruko wanted something if she's trying to flatter her.
"What? Me? I don't want anything; I'm simply acknowledging what an amazing person and friend you are. In fact, you're such a great friend that I know you'd never hesitate in offering me help if I needed it, like say…copying your homework." Naruko said while fluttering her eyes with an innocent smile, with the pinkette now looking at her in annoyance.
'On second thought, UnderWorld actually fits her rather well.' Sakura thought dryly, knowing Naruko can be very manipulative to get what she wants or trick people to get out of trouble.
"Nice try." Sakura said before walking away towards her home.
"Ah well, you win some you lose some." Naruko muttered with a shrug.
*Later*
After separating from Sakura, Naruko headed home before sighing in relief once she got back and went inside.
"Mom, I'm home!" Naruko called out, only to be met with silence, making her frown before looking around for where her mother was.
Before she found a note on a table, with the whiskered blonde going over and grabbing it, seeing it's from her mother saying she'll be out late and that dinner is in the fridge.
'Guess that means I've got the house to myself for a while.' Thought Naruko while setting the note down.
Going into the kitchen and opening the fridge, Naruko smiled happily at seeing the dinner was her mother's special ramen. Taking it out, Naruko put it in the microwave before she went to the living room once it was done as she sat down and turned on the television to watch some anime.
Once she finished her ramen, Naruko went upstairs to her room with it being filled with Chaotic memorabilia, including some unofficial stuff. Having figurines of Takinom, Nivenna, Skithia and Lyssta, along with ones of Intress, Aivenna, Quadore, Lystone, Kinnianne, Eremia, Jorre, Shinadd and Na-Inna. Posters of several female Creatures, mostly of the female UnderWorlders either by themselves or them battling other Creatures. Along with some shirts, jackets depicting them, or plush versions of some Creatures.
While also having some unofficial stuff that was…private for Naruko, given how there were posters of several female Creatures in rather revealing outfits or nothing on at all.
Sitting down at her desk, Naruko unpacked all of the cards she bought before she began putting their codes into her Scanner, transferring them to her online deck. Once that was done and she put her cards away, the Uzumaki turned on her computer and logged on to Chaotic.
'Now then, let's see who's offering any trades.' Naruko thought, checking to see the players that were looking for others to trade with and seeing what cards they had.
Naruko grinned as she found some players offering some good UnderWorld Creatures and Locations, as well as some Mugic.
'Sweet, this one's offering Jade Pillar and Castle Pillar! Oh, there's Ghuul, I've been looking for a scan of him! Searing Symphony, Song of Treachery and Chorus of Cothica, those are some really good Mugic! There's some awesome BattleGear too, a Skeletal Steed, a Drilldozer, a Flitflut and a Phoenix Belt. Wait, there's Hifdan!' Naruko thought, excited at all the trade offers as while Hifdan is an OverWorlder, he definitely has the looks of an UnderWorlder.
Seeing plenty of other cards she's been looking for, Naruko began making her offers to the traders, offering up the cards she doesn't want. Some of the trades were accepted, others weren't, with Naruko refusing the ones that asked for too much.
Continuing to trade some cards for a while, Naruko soon stopped after finishing one last trade, getting a Barath Beyond scan much to her pleasure at getting another powerful UnderWorlder.
'I think, that's enough trading for today. Now then, let's see who's ready to burst into code.' Thought Naruko with a smirk as she switched over to online matches, searching for any opponents.
"Oh a Danian player, let's see how your bugs stand against me." Naruko said once she found an opponent, sending a challenge before they both began setting up their teams for a three-on-three match.
"Skithia attacks Ibiaan with a Whepcrack for the match."
Naruko smirked as she finished her opponent off, before moving onto the next seeing they were a Mipedian player.
"Khybon uses his Diamond of Vlaric to crush Ario with a Rock Wave."
Cheering as her Khybon finished off the last of her opponents Creatures, the Uzumaki picked her next opponent, seeing they used OverWorlders and their team all had the Water Element.
"Ulmar roasts Antidaeon with a Torrent of Flames."
Naruko laughed at crushing them using just Fire Attacks, finding it funny that this time fire was the one to beat water. Before choosing her next opponent, finding they were another UnderWorld player.
"Lyssta burns Krekk with her Pyroblaster and finishes him with a Lightning Burst."
Watching as her opponents Creature burst into code, Naruko enjoyed showing who's the better UnderWorld player before going to her next opponent, another Mipedian player.
"Rothar crushes Zhade with the Drilldozer."
Grinning madly at another win, Naruko began giggling wickedly as her next opponent was another Danian player.
"Ragetrod incinerates Ekuud with Lavalanche!"
Naruko's smirk grew as she reached her last opponent for the night, seeing it was an OverWorld player and they had Aivenna on their team.
"And finally Nivenna takes out Aivenna with Canon of Casualty! Who's the superior twin, now?!" Naruko said as she watched Nivenna code Aivenna with her Mugic.
'Seven wins in a row, I'm on fire and so are the UnderWorlders!' Thought Naruko, pleased at the winning streak she's on.
Though the whiskered blondes cheering was cut short when her computer began beeping, making Naruko only to raise a brow in confusion.
"Chaotic mail?" Naruko muttered while wondering what she was sent, her confusion only growing when she opened it and saw it was a bunch of letters.
"What's this supposed to be? A…code?" Asked Naruko upon seeing it looked like it could be a code, though she wasn't sure what exactly for.
Grabbing her Scanner, Naruko looked at the code while wondering what it was and why it was sent to her.
'Is it for getting a winning streak or something? Some kind of special scan?' Naruko thought before shrugging and entered the code into her Scanner, figuring it couldn't hurt to see what it was.
Only for Naruko to pale when her Scanner seemed to glitch out before turning off, with her starting to panic when it wouldn't turn back on or do anything no matter what button she pressed.
'Crap, crap, crap, crap, crap, CRAP!' Naruko thought, shaking her Scanner and smacking it lightly to try and see if it'd do anything, but it still wouldn't turn on.
Her panic only growing when she turned to her computer and tried accessing her deck, only to find herself locked out of it.
'Crapbaskets! Was that code meant to hack me?!' Thought Naruko, freaking out that she could've been hacked by whoever sent that strange code.
Trying to think of something to do, Naruko went to a Chaotic Message Board and posted what happened. Wanting to know if anyone else ever got some strange code that caused their Scanners to shut down and be locked out of their decks, hoping someone would have an answer on how to fix it.
Once that was done she began trying to fix it herself, looking up what to do if her Scanner suddenly shuts itself or if she's locked out of her deck. Finding in instructions on how to reset her Scanner, Naruko tried it only for her Scanner to still stay off before she tried restarting her computer and see if that'll do anything.
Only for the whiskered blonde to sigh and smack her head against the desk when nothing worked, mentally cursing herself for putting in that code.
'Ugh, note-to-self, never put some strange code into my Scanner ever again.' Naruko thought before she stood up, knowing she isn't getting anywhere right now and could only hope someone will respond to her message with an answer.
With nothing else she could do, Naruko began stripping off her clothes to go take a shower, not having much shame about being naked since she's the only home right now.
It didn't take long before she was only wearing her dark orange lingerie with black lace along the edges. Undoing her bra, Naruko sighed in relief as her low D-cup breasts bounced free before pulling down her panties, exposing her shapely rear and bare snatch.
'I need to relax now after all that, and cool off from my winning streak.' Naruko thought as she left her room and headed for the bathroom.
Stepping into the shower, Naruko gasped when she turned on the cold water first to cool off, letting out a small moan of satisfaction at feeling the cold water hitting her body. Before running her hands along her body to get it wet, moaning again when she felt her nipples hardening from the cold.
'Oh yeah, that feels great.' Thought Naruko, enjoying the cool feeling before switching to hot water, biting her lip at now feeling her body warmup.
'Now I'm getting really warm, really…hot~.' Naruko thought before sliding a hand down her body to between her legs, only to quickly catch herself when she brushed against her pussy.
'Woah! Hold on, down girl! Focus on getting cleaned up, then have fun later…and then get cleaned again afterwards' Naruko thought, not wanting to end up spending too much time in the shower, at least for now as she'll focus on getting cleaned up and then have some fun with herself.
Though unknown to Naruko, back in her room, her Scanner sat on her desk while not showing any sign of activity, the Uzumaki was unaware of what had happened the moment she entered that code.
*Chaotic*
Naruko let out a short scream before grunting when she hit the ground, feeling that it was made of metal for some reason.
"Ow…what the hell just…" Naruko said, groaning as she stood up, only to freeze when she noticed her surroundings.
Seeing she was no longer in her room or even her house, Naruko wasn't even sure she's still on Earth anymore. Instead she was in a large, open, high-tech area. With it having dozens of tables scattered around it and even more people walking around, seeing plenty of them were carrying Scanners. While those sitting at tables were eating food being delivered to them by actual flying robots.
Looking down at where she was standing, Naruko saw she was standing on a glowing white circle with several others scattered around her in circular formations. Even more shocking was when more people began appearing in glowing lights filled with bits of code in them. Before Naruko looked up as her eyes widened at seeing dozens of large screens on the walls and mounted in the air. With all of them showing what looked like Chaotic Creatures, actual real Creatures, and not just cards battling each other.
"Woah, this place is…Kami, this looks so cool!" Naruko said, smiling widely with her mouth open in shock and amazement.
"Finally, a first-timer that says something besides "no way". It's so boring hearing it over and over, it's good that at least one of you have some originality. Originality is what separates the champions from the chumps." Said someone as Naruko was shocked when one of the robots flew over to her.
"In anyways, welcome to Chaotic." The robot said, making the Uzumaki look around in amazement.
"This is…Chaotic? It's not just a game, it's a place?" Naruko asked in disbelief that Chaotic was an actual place.
"Yes, now please follow me, FlameVixen98. You have your first match in BattleDrome Crellan in three minutes." Said the robot before it flew off, with Naruko quickly running to catch up.
"Wh-what?! A match, but…but I didn't get a challenge from anyone! And I don't have my cards with me, and what's a BattleDrome?!" Said Naruko, wondering how she could have a match when she just got here.
"All newcomers have a match scheduled when they first come to Chaotic as a means to get their feet wet. BattleDromes are where players may battle each other, there are seven BattleDromes, Crellan, Hotekk, Amzen, Oron, Tirasis, Imthor and Chirrul. Each BattleDrome is run by a CodeMaster. And then there are the BetaDromes where players may battle or train at their leisure." The robot replied, confusing Naruko further.
"CodeMasters?" Naruko asked, having never heard of a title or screenname like that.
"The CodeMasters are the best Chaotic players in the world, anyone that succeeds in winning seven matches in any one BattleDrome will have the chance to face that Drome's CodeMaster in a CodeMaster Match. And should a player defeat a CodeMaster, they will be given a special Location scan from that CodeMaster's deck." Explained the robot, while the whiskered blonde simply nodded slowly despite still being confused.
Before her eyes widened in shock again when they stepped outside and she saw just how massive it was, being able to guess the entire place was the size of a city. Along with seeing seven structures spread out around, which she guessed were the BattleDromes. She even saw there was a monorail that went all around the place to each of the Dromes.
"And uh…what's that place?" Questioned Naruko, pointing to the building they just came out of, stumbling slightly when she followed the robot only for the floor to begin moving, much to her disbelief at seeing there were moving walkways.
"That is the Port Court where players stay in Chaotic to hangout, eat, watch matches and trade scans with each other. It is also where they port from Earth to Chaotic." The robot said before they soon reached one of the BattleDromes.
"We are here, this is BattleDrome Crellan, step inside and your match will begin." Said the robot before it flew off, leaving Naruko unable to ask what exactly she's supposed to do.
Looking at the BattleDrome, Naruko gulped before the red door opened up allowing her inside, not sure if she could be shocked anymore when she saw what it looked inside.
"I swear it feels like I stepped into Star Wars." Naruko muttered, jumping slightly when a loud beep went off in the Drome before she saw the Chaotic logo appear in the air in the center of the room.
"Welcome to BattleDrome Crellan, Naruko Uzumaki, Chaotic codename FlameVixen98. Please step forward and dock your Scanner." Said a sudden voice while a pedestal rose up from the floor.
Raising a brow, Naruko stepped forward and saw it was big enough for her to place her Scanner on it, her eyes widening when she did so and a holographic screen appeared in front of her.
'Woah, this is…' Thought Naruko while shaking her head, not even sure what to say to all this.
Though was thankful that it was at least like the online game, seeing four dials below where her team would be. Spinning them to see that blue had her Creatures, white was her BattleGear, purple was the Mugic and green was the Locations.
"Okay, so…who am I playing?" Naruko asked, not seeing anyone else here, before an opening appeared across from her as someone stepped inside.
With it being a fifteen-year-old boy with lightly tanned skin, messy black hair and blue eyes with. While his attire consisted of grey t-shirt with a white target symbol on it, a black long-sleeved shirt underneath, blue jeans and grey trainers.
"Tom Majors, Chaotic codename, MajorTom. Pleases step forward and dock your Scanner." The voice said with Tom stepping forward and setting his Scanner in, smiling at the whiskered blonde.
"Hey, nice to meet you, I'm Tom. And I'm guessing it's your first time." Tom said, being able to recognize the look of shock and amazement, while Naruko nodded mutely.
"I'm Naruko Uzumaki, my screenname's FlameVixen98. And yeah, this is just…honestly I'd say I'm dreaming but I don't think I could imagine all this." Said Naruko, making Tom chuckle lightly and nod in understanding.
"Yeah, it can be pretty overwhelming when you first get here, I'm actually still pretty new to Chaotic myself. Just relax and do what your normally do for a match, build up your team and go from there. Since this is your first match, it'll be one-on-one, one Creature, one BattleGear and one Mugic. You'll also choose ten Locations and put them in the Location Randomizer, the spinner below where your scans appear." Said Tom, with Naruko nodding in response and looked through her Creatures while trying to think of who she should choose.
'Okay, I don't know who Tom is, but he has a blue Scanner so that means he favors using OverWorlders, which at least gives me an idea of what to expect. I should go with the strongest UnderWorlder I have just to be safe, so it looks like you're up Brimflame.' Naruko thought, selecting her strongest UnderWorlder and dragged him over to the field.
'And for BattleGear, I'll give him a Whepcrack, giving his Fire Attacks a serious power boost. Unfortunately he doesn't have any Mugic counters, so no Mugic.' Thought Naruko while placing a Whepcrack on Brimflame.
'But I can do what I can to make sure he can't use Mugic either, places like Runic Grove and Eye of the Maelstrom will make it so he can't use OverWorld Mugic or lose whatever Mugic he chooses. And for the rest of my Locations, UnderWorld City, two Lava Ponds, The Pits and Cordac Falls Plungepool, all great UnderWorld Locations. I'll also put in Forest of Life since with Brimflame's high power, which is even higher thanks to the Whepcrack, it'll be guaranteed he gets the extra energy. And the last two, I'll go with Ravanaugh Ridge and Dranakis Threshold.' Naruko thought, placing her Locations into the Randomizer
"Players, lock your decks." Said the voice with Naruko and Tom pressing their Scanners, revealing their sides of the board, the Uzumaki grimaced at seeing Tom was using Maxxor.
'The leader of the OverWorlders, I'm really glad I picked Brimflame.' Naruko thought, doubting any other Creatures she had would last long against him.
The only exception being Takinom, and even then she rarely uses her in one-on-one matches.
"So, uh, how do we do this then? Does this place like…create some kind of holographic simulation where our Creatures fight?" Naruko asked, guessing that's what happens with how the screens in the Port Court showed Creatures battling.
"That's the cool part, you'll see when we battle." Said Tom with a smirk, wanting to see how she'll react when they transform.
"Uh…okay." Said Naruko, unsure what how this wasn't the cool part.
"FlameVixen, because this is your DromeMatch, you will be the attacker. Activate the Location Randomizer." Said the voice, making Naruko nod before she spun the Randomizer.
Watching as it shuffled between the Locations she chose for a few moments, until finally it stopped on Eye of the Maelstrom, making Naruko grin while Tom frowned. Knowing that Location means he'll lose Song of Resurgence.
"The first Location, Eye of the Maelstrom. Choose your attacking and target Creatures." The voice said.
"Well, only one choice. Brimflame attacks Maxxor." Naruko said before touching Brimflame's image while Tom did the same to Maxxor.
Before Naruko's eyes widened in shock when the screens vanished and blue/white lights and code appeared swirling around their feet and moving up their bodies.
"Wh-what the hell?! What's…happening?!" Naruko said, looking at herself while feeling like her entire body was changing, before hearing her voice change.
Naruko looked down at herself in shock, as now she didn't see her body and instead she's now looking at a completely different one. Her shock only growing when she looked at Tom, only to see Maxxor himself standing in front of her.
"Y-yo-y-you…you're Maxxor?! You turned into Maxxor!" Said Naruko, her shock growing again at not hearing her voice, while Maxxor smirked at her.
"And you turned into Brimflame. I told you; you'd see when we got to the cool part." Maxxor said as Naruko, or now Brimflame, looked down at himself.
"Holy crap." Brimflame muttered in disbelief.
"Yeah, but it doesn't stop there. Now then, let's get chaotic!" Said Maxxor, getting ready for battle as they were engulfed in a bright light with Brimflame covering his eyes at the sight.
*Eye of the Maelstrom*
When the light vanished, Brimflame opened his eyes before they widened in shock at seeing he's no longer in the Drome anymore, but was now in a barren, craggy, wind-lashed plain. Seeing a huge rock formation in the shape of a hand jutting up to the sky in the center of an ever-swirling storm.
"This is…the Eye of the Maelstrom?! And…I can feel it!" Brimflame said as he felt the wind battering against his body, and feel the rocky ground beneath his feet.
Taking a cautious step forward, Brimflame stumbled a little at how different this body felt compared to his normal one.
"I still…feel like me, only like I'm wearing a costume. But…" Said Brimflame, clenching and unclenching his fists before punching a rock, his eyes widening when it shattered on impact.
"…I don't think any costume can do that." Brimflame stated while looking down at himself before he began chuckling, which soon turned into full-blown laughter as he began moving through Eye of the Maelstrom.
"I can't believe it! I'm actually Brimflame, and I'm actually in Eye of the Maelstrom!" Said Brimflame in shock and awe, not believing this is really happening.
"Hmm, and if I'm now a Creature in a Location from the game, then maybe…Power Punch!" Brimflame said before throwing his fists forward unleashing multiple glowing white energy fists that smashed into a rock formation.
"And I can use actual attacks!" Brimflame said, laughing in amazement before he kept moving.
'It look just like the card, only so much bigger and a lot more details.' Thought Brimflame, before raising a hand to his face when a powerful wind blew against him.
'I'd hate to be a flyer in this weather, I'd probably be blown all around with this wind. And that's not even counting the lightning.' Brimflame thought upon seeing the lightning constantly jumping across the sky.
Shaking his head, Brimflame kept moving through the Location, knowing Maxxor is here somewhere and they still have a battle, now seeing that it was going to be an actual battle.
Though unknown to the UnderWorlder, Maxxor had soon located him but chose to stay hidden in the shadows. As while he could attack while Brimflame was distracted, he also didn't want to just attack a new player when they're getting used to everything.
'Though from the looks of it, she's handling everything a lot better than I did in my first match.' Maxxor thought, knowing his first match wasn't his best performance.
After following Brimflame for a few moments, Maxxor soon decided that it was time for the battle to really begin before leaping into the air.
"Iron Balls!" Maxxor said, unleashing a barrage of Iron Balls from his eyes.
With the sudden shout getting Brimflame's attention only to cry out when the attack slammed into him, pushing him back.
"And now Rock Wave!" Said Maxxor said, slamming his fists into the ground once he landed, causing numerous rocks to shoot up forming a large wave that descended onto Brimflame.
"Okay, I guess we're doing this now. Then try…this! Power Pulse!" Brimflame said, taking a moment to try and think of an attack before throwing his fists forward as he shot out several green energy fists that smashed through the rocks.
"Then let's see you try this! Unsanity!" Maxxor said, firing a mental beam at Brimflame, impacting the UnderWorlder and making Brimflame cry out and hold his head.
Grunting in pain Brimflame saw his vision growing blurry and he stumbled around, trying to focus on where Maxxor was, but couldn't tell which one was the real OverWorlder.
"If you don't like that, you really won't like this! Telekinetic Bolt!" Said Maxxor, releasing a blue energy wave and lifting up the surrounding rocks around them before launching them at Brimflame.
Crying out as the rocks crashed into him, Brimflame was thrown back from each impact until he was sent skidding across the ground, groaning as he tried getting back up. Leaning against a rock as he stood up, Brimflame shook his head as he tried focusing again.
"Sorry if I'm being too hard on you, but I still want to win this match." Maxxor said while giving Brimflame a moment to catch himself.
"It's…it's fine. Though…I don't plan on losing either! Clashjet!" Said Brimflame as he rushed at the OverWorld Leader surrounded by a burning aura of air, making Maxxor smirk.
"Good, it wouldn't be fun if you gave up! Ash Torrent!" Said Maxxor, spewing out a violent cloud of ash at Brimflame.
With the UnderWorld Taskmaster grunting as the cloud hit him, only for him to keep pushing through with a shout until he reached Maxxor. But once he reached the OverWorlder, Brimflame's eyes widened when he felt something stopping him before seeing Maxxor had an Aqua Shield as his BattleGear.
"Don't forget we still have BattleGear, and mine just happens to be good at dealing with UnderWorlders' fire! But mine is still as strong as ever! Flame Orb!" Maxxor said, throwing a fireball right into Brimflame's face, making him cry out as he was thrown back.
"Sleep Sting!" Said Maxxor shooting a barrage of stingers at Brimflame, with the UnderWorlder groaning as the stingers hit him making him feel tired and weak.
"Now here's a Vine Snare!" Maxxor said, shooting vines out of his fingers that ensnared Brimflame.
Before Maxxor grunted as he pulled and yanked Brimflame into the air and slamming into the ground, getting a grunt from the UnderWorlder.
"So…how's that?" Questioned Maxxor upon seeing that he wasn't coded by all those attacks, being surprised when Brimflame tried getting back up.
"I…don't know… How's…this…OverWorlder! Inferno Gust!" Brimflame before suddenly unleashing a blast of burning air from his mouth at Maxxor, surprising the OverWorld Leader.
Quickly raising his Aqua Shield, Maxxor grunted at the heat coming from the flames before seeing his vines being burned away.
'Looks she's starting to really tap into being a Creature!' Maxxor thought, only to cry out when he felt something burning hot wrap around his leg.
"Thanks for the reminder about BattleGear by the way, Maxxor!" Said Brimflame, holding his Whepcrack as it wrapped around Maxxor's leg before he yanked him close.
"Force Strike!" Brimflame said, pulling his fist back and smashing it into Maxxor's face once he was close enough, sending the OverWorld Hero crashing into the ground, forming a large crater on impact.
"A-Ash Torrent!" Said Maxxor spewing out a violent cloud of ash straight at Brimflame, making the UnderWorld Taskmaster grunt as he was pushed back.
"Torrent of Flame!" Said Brimflame, shooting out a blast of fire at Maxxor, who quickly raised his Aqua Shield blocking the fire.
"You aren't the only one who can do that! Torrent of Flame!" Maxxor said, releasing his own fire jet that collided against Brimflame's, only for Brimflame's to easily overpower his.
"Yes. But my Whepcrack gives me some added heat, which combined with Brimflame's ability, makes this a losing game if you think you can match my firepower!" Brimflame said as his flames began getting closer to Maxxor.
"Maybe…good thing I have more than just fire! Rock Wave!" Said Maxxor, smashing his fist into the ground, unleashing a wave of rocks towards Brimflame and blocking his flames.
"That didn't work before! Power Pulse!" Said Brimflame said, launching multiple green fists that blasted through the rocks, only for Maxxor to jump into the air using the rocks as platforms.
"Ash Torrent!" Maxxor said, spewing out a cloud of ash at the UnderWorlder.
"Inferno Gust!" Said Brimflame, returning the favor with a burning blast of air that began incinerating Maxxor's ash cloud.
Gritting his teeth, Maxxor raised his Aqua Shield again to block the fire only to be pushed back as he did. Not thinking Brimflame would get such a boost with his Fire Attacks, thanks to the Whepcrack.
'I'm gonna need to think of something to get rid of that Whepcrack, or I'm gonna be code!' Maxxor thought, only to suddenly cry out when he felt electricity course through his body.
"Lightning Burst!" Said Brimflame, taking the chance to fire a blast of lightning at Maxxor while using his Aqua Shield as a conductor to shoot the lightning straight through his body.
Maxxor groaned as he hit the ground, only to see his Aqua Shield vanish after being disabled from the Lightning Burst attack.
"Now that that's taken care of, Flame Orb!" Brimflame said, launching several fireballs at the OverWorld Hero, forcing Maxxor to jump out of the way.
Only to grunt when Brimflame snapped his Whepcrack at him, burning Maxxor and throwing him back.
"It won't be that easy to escape, OverWorlder! Torrent of Flame!" Said Brimflame as he began spinning his Whepcrack through the air in a spiral pattern before unleashing a spiraling blast of fire at Maxxor, much to his surprise.
'Okay, wasn't expecting that!' Maxxor thought as he jumped out of the way of the fire.
"Flame Orb!" Brimflame said as he then swung his Whepcrack around, causing multiple fireballs to shoot out of it, making Maxxor grunt as he was struck.
"Okay, so you've got some tricks up your sleeves. But so do I! Telekinetic Bolt!" Maxxor said, releasing a blue energy wave before lifting up multiple rocks around them and launched them at Brimflame.
"You only have cheap tricks if that's all you can do! Clashjet!" Said Brimflame, swinging his Whepcrack around with enough force to smash through the rocks, missing how Maxxor smirked.
"Who said that's my trick? Iron Balls!" Said Maxxor, unleashing a barrage of metal balls from his eyes, but rather than aim at Brimflame himself, he only aimed at his hand.
Making Brimflame cry out when his Whepcrack was suddenly knocked out of his hand and destroyed when Maxxor threw a Flame Orb at it.
"Now it's just you and me, no Mugic and no BattleGear. Now how about we try this again? Torrent of Flame!" Maxxor said, shooting out jets of fire at Brimflame.
"I don't need BattleGear to burn you! Torrent of Flame!" Said Brimflame, firing his own fire blasts that collided with Maxxor's, only for them to now be more even without his Whepcrack boosting his Fire Attack and activating his ability.
"Looks like you do. Too bad, since I can do this! Delirium!" Said Maxxor before firing an energy beam from his head, making Brimflame's eyes widen.
Before crying out as it hit him and began clouding his mind, crying out again as the interruption allowed Maxxor's fire to smash into him, knocking Brimflame back.
"It was a good match, I'm sure you'll do just fine in Chaotic. But now it's time to end it! Lavalanche!" Maxxor said, shooting blasts of lava out of his hands towards Brimflame.
The UnderWorld having no time to react as the lava descended onto him before he was engulfed and burst into code.
*Crellan Drome*
"The winner of the match, MajorTom." Declared the voice as Naruko found herself back in the Crellan Drome, while Maxxor turned back into Tom.
"You were awesome out there, Naruko. I didn't think the Whepcrack could be used to do Fire Attacks, like that. And using a Lightning Burst on my Aqua Shield was good thinking. You really had me there, for a while." Tom said with an impressed smile at her skill.
"Thanks! That was…Kami, I don't even know what to say! I actually turned into Brimflame and I used a Whepcrack, and I battled Maxxor! And we were in Eye of the Maelstrom! That was the coolest thing ever!" Naruko said with an excited grin, not even caring that she lost, only feeling pumped full of adrenaline at having the greatest match of her life, making Tom chuckle at her excitement.
"Trust me, I know the feeling. Though I was really shocked when I first transformed, I was able to get the hang of things later on and it's definitely way more exciting than a regular online match or playing with the cards." Said Tom, the Uzumaki eagerly nodded in agreement.
"Yeah, I don't think I'll be able to go back to online matches and cards after this! I can't wait to battle some more, here!" Naruko said, already eager for another battle.
"If you think battling as Creatures is awesome, then wait until you get to Perim." Tom said, getting Naruko's attention.
"Perim?! We can go to Perim?!" Asked Naruko, only for Tom to smirk and motion her to follow him.
"Follow me, I'll show there's more to Chaotic than just battling." Said Tom, much to Naruko's excitement that there's even more.
Exiting the Crellan Drome, Naruko followed Tom back to the Port Court and back to the spot where she first arrived.
"This is the Transport Center, where players port their codes from Earth to Chaotic and where they can port themselves back home. Though it might take a while, since the you on Earth needs to touch the button at the top of their Scanner to bring you back." Tom explained, making Naruko look at him in confusion.
"The me on Earth?" Naruko asked, wondering what that meant.
"Yeah, it confused me too. But after winning ten online matches, you get the code to transport to Chaotic but you don't go yourself. Think of it like…cloning yourself. There's the you back home and the you that's sent to Chaotic. Once you port back home, all the memories you have from Chaotic go back to the you on Earth. Though while you're here in Chaotic, you can't access your deck online since it's brought here to use in the BattleDromes and it'll seem like your Scanners broken, but it's not really. And quick question, you wouldn't throw your Scanner out if you thought it was broken, would you?" Tom asked in concern, not wanting her to risk being stuck here if she threw her Scanner out on Earth.
"No. Knowing me, I'd probably think my Scanner was hacked from that code and try fixing it, before consulting the message boards once all else fails." Replied Naruko, making Tom sigh in relief.
"That's good, since if anything happens to your Scanner on Earth then you're stuck in Chaotic forever." Said Tom as the whiskered blonde gulped at that, glad that she wouldn't throw out her Scanner.
"Anyway, what's even better about the transporters is you can use them to port to Perim, where all the Tribes and Creatures live." Tom revealed, with Naruko freezing and looking at him with wide eyes.
"You mean…I could…" Said Naruko as she soon smiled in complete excitement.
"That's right, you can meet the actual Creatures themselves. You can go to any Location you have in your Scanner and travel across Perim to get scans of Creatures, BattleGear, Mugic and Locations." Said Tom, while Naruko began shaking in excitement.
'I could meet the real Takinom, Nivenna and Skithia! I could meet all the Creatures in my deck and scan them in person, which could potentially give me vastly different scans than the ones I get from the card game! I could also scan all the Creatures I've been trying to get! And I can see all the Locations and so much more!' Naruko thought, not believing that this was really happening.
"That is so…awesome!" Naruko squealed, fully intending to port straight to Perim and meet some of her favorite Creatures.
"Yeah it really is, and I'm sure you'll be heading there now. Though just one more thing, if you run into another player called Klay, go in the opposite direction." Tom said with a frown, making Naruko look at him.
"I'm guessing he's not a nice player." Stated Naruko, with Tom scoffing at that.
"Not even close. When I first came here, he tricked me and sent me to Perim where I nearly became Nauthilax's lunch. Everyone here says he's evil and I don't doubt it, if he goes around tricking new players like that. So if you see him, don't believe anything he says. He's also easy to spot, blond hair that's combed back and pink eyes with pink sunglasses, he also has a smirk that can make your skin crawl, along with being pretty tall and skinny." Said Tom, the whiskered blonde nod at the description.
"I'm guessing he's got a goatee too, since that's a classic creepy asshole look." Naruko said, surprising Tom at her language before coughing to cover up his laugh.
"Uh…y-yeah, he does actually. So it should be easy to see him if he tries offering any "help"." Tom said while wishing for the chance to see Klay's reaction if Naruko calls him that to his face.
"Yeah, should be easy. Thanks for the help and information, Tom, as well as for the amazing first battle. Maybe we'll get to battle again sometime, only with me winning." Naruko said with a smirk, which Tom returned as they shook hands.
"Count on it, and on me winning again." Replied Tom, not minding if they battled again when Naruko's more experienced.
"We'll see." Naruko said before waving as Tom walked off to go rejoin his friends.
Once he was gone, Naruko smiled in excitement and stepped onto one of the transporters, looking through her Location scans.
'Perim here I come!' Naruko thought once she chose a Location and she ported away.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruko getting out of school and heading to the local card shop to purchase some new cards, focusing on getting plenty of new UnderWorlder cards, but still picking out some ones from the other Tribes. Before she runs into Sakura with them making small talk, along with learning why Naruko favors UnderWorlders, aside from being rather manipulative to get what she wants.
Then we see Naruko arriving home, finding a note from her mother she'll be out late, leading to Naruko watching some anime and eating her dinner, before then going up to scan her new cards onto her Scanner. Before she begins doing some online trades, getting some cards she's wanted and trading away ones she doesn't want, with her then doing some online matches.
Leading to Naruko getting her tenth win from her winning streak, earning her code to Chaotic only to think her Scanner was hacked when it shuts down and can't access her deck. Luckily rather than throw her Scanner out believing it's broken, Naruko tries fixing it only to give up when nothing works, deciding to wait to see if anyone on the message boards can give her an answer.
Unknown to Naruko her code transports her to Chaotic, much to her shock and amazement before she's taken to BattleDrome Crellan for her first match, with it being against Tom (with him still being new to Chaotic as well but before he loses Maxxor to Bruiser). With Naruko choosing Brimflame (her strongest UnderWorlder at the moment) while Tom uses Maxxor as they battle in Eye of the Maelstrom.
With Naruko taking a while to get used to being a Creature, with Tom giving her the chance to get used to it before the battle begins. While Tom has the advantage until Naruko really gets into it and manages to push him and destroy his Aqua Shield. Only for Tom to regain the advantage after destroying her Whepcrack, with Naruko unfortunately losing in the end.
Finally we see Tom showing Naruko the Transport Center and explaining how they can port back home and to Perim, much to Naruko's excitement she'll get the chance to meet her favorite Creatures and scan them. Tom also warns Naruko about Klay and what he looks like to avoid him if he ever tries offering some "help". Before Naruko then eagerly chooses her Location and ports off to Perim. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support. For those that don't or at least don't like the direction taken, you're more than welcomed to drop the story. But thanks for giving the story a chance anyway.
