"That was really peculiar," Rio was still not sure how she felt about dimension hopping.

"Yea, but the kids had fun," Jeff rotated his shoulder. No sooner than he did chin ups and monkey bars with the other two dads, his son wanted him to play with him in the gym, "Think I can skip my workout tomorrow. Did you have fun?"

"I did," she agreed, "Mj has such a cute little girl. Looks just like her. And I got so many pictures of her and Gunner on the little ride on tractors!" She took out her phone and showed her husband the happy toddler.

Miles listened to his parents go back and forth. He was ecstatic that they were cool with his friends, rather Jess and Virgil, being from another dimension. It made life a little easier.

Better yet, after Virgil talked to Jeff about heros and stuff, his dad seemed more empathetic. Maybe one day he wouldn't have to lie about his bruises and stuff.

"Eavesdropping?" Hobie asked, sitting upside down in the chair, playing with one of Miles' action figures.

"Mom and dad love Jess and Virgil," he told him, "So this can only be a great thing for me!"

"Or something terrible," Hobie teased.

The younger teen had begged his parents if Hobie could stay the night after the gym. Eventually they broke and agreed as long as he asked his parents.

"Can we play with your cars again?"

"Not while they're using the front room. Want to play on the switch?"

"Ohh! What game?"

Miles hurried to grab it, "Sonic."

"I'm here for that blue rat," he rectified himself in the chair.

"Hedgehog," Miles handed him one of the controllers.

"This is a lot of talking for two boys who should be napping," Rio walked in.

"We're not tired yet," Miles rounded the corner of the track.

"After all you two did? I can't imagine you aren't," she pulled the side of Miles' pants, "Even daddy is taking a nap right now," she reached over and checked Hobie, "I figured one of you might need my attention."

She took the controller from Hobie and set it on the desk, "Where is your bag?" She looked around, finding the backpack, "Oh, these are nice."

"Ma got them for me," Hobie smiled proudly.

"What a good mami," she nodded, setting her supplies on the desk as the punk laid on the floor.

With him nice and clean she exited the room, reminding them that it was naptime.

Hobie smiled, hugging Miles close.

"You're so happy," he smiled, hugging back.

"I had a good day with my mates and I get to continue it into a good night."

"Yeah, today was awesome," he covered a yawn.

After a long nap the two were allowed out to go do…whatever it was they decided to do. The claim was that they wanted to go to the library. But who knew.

"Hey, how come we never go to your house?"

"House?" Hobie raised his brows, "My maid quit on me. So it's not exactly guest ready."

Miles scoffed at his smirk, "Who cares? Come on. We're always at my house or Jess'. While I'm not hearing any complaints it would be cool to see other places, you know."

"You don't want to visit my realm. It sucks. Too much capitalism and propaganda. Nothing really fun to do like in your realms. And while you want to see mine, why don't we ever go to Pavitr's or Gwen's. We never even been to Miguel's."

"True. I've been to Miguel's dimension once. His looks pretty average."

"That's who we need to harass. Especially since he has his own place."

"You do too," Miles poked him.

Hobie grabbed the kid in a headlock, "Maybe I do, but you guys will have to see it later," he scratched his scalp, similar to a puppy's.

"When is later?"

"We'll see," he dismissed.

"Are those water proof?" Rio referred to Hobie's facial piercings, trying to get the bathroom setup for his bath time.

"Yes, I wash with them on," he leaned over, watching what his friend's mom was doing.

"Ok," she shrugged, "Do you see a scent you would like?"

"This one! It smells like lemon cake!" He inhaled a soap he found.

"Alright then, climb in so we can get you nice and clean and ready for bed."

The rocker quickly got undressed and hopped into the bubbles. Having a ton of fun playing with the duckies.

"I see you were very excited for a bath. And you have more piercings," she teased.

"I have this one too," he pointed into his mouth and stuck his tongue out, showing her that stud.

"Lovely," Rio commented, beginning to wash his neck. Ever since she first saw him with that dog collar on she really wanted to wash his neck. She owned leather chokers, they always made her neck sweat so much.

"It lights up!" He gasped at the big blue rubber ducky.

"Oh yes, that's one of Miles' favorites. If I find another one I'll grab it for you."

"Really? Awesome! Thank you!" He continued to play with it.

"Did you have fun at the park?"

"I had so much fun! I hope we can go back again. My favorite was all the slides. Miles and I did a lot of exploring and planned to make our fortress like that. So if our enemies somehow breach our walls, they will be trapped in a maze that only we know of!"

Rio laughed to herself as he went on a tangent of pretend play. She really found all this rather cute and was just happy to see her son had good friends and was staying out of trouble.

Hobie was enamored with tonight's show.

"Do you have Bluey where you're from?" Jeff asked the Brit.

"No, I don't watch a lot of TV. Maybe, but I doubt it. Can we watch another?" He virtually begged.

Dad sighed, "One more episode, then it's bedtime."

He nodded, leaning forward.

By the time that last episode was up, Miles was completely out and his dad had to carry him to bed.

"Alright, kiddo," he tucked the guest in, "Time for bed. That means sleep."

"Thank you for letting me stay the night," punk snuggled into the pillow.

"You're welcome," Jeff pat his shoulder. Now he could finally get some sleep himself.
