The Giant and The Monster stared at each other, as they prepared for a fight, while the citizens and heroes backed off and found a safe place for them to observe what was going on. In which case, one person had only one thought of this situation, and that was...
"It can't be... Impossible... I thought they were just a myth...", All Might, also known as Yagi Toshinori, questioned and thought of what he was seeing. While he was the No.1 Pro Hero, he was brought up and inspired by the heroes of old and legend, one of them including The Earth Defence Forces and The Ultraman, the Giant of Light who came to Earth to protect it from the threats that endangered humanity.
While he admired the stories told, he thought of it as myth, as there were no records of their existences, especially since it was during the pre-quirk era. He believed it was just a fairy tale told by his parents and those older than them, as bedtime stories for young kids who wanted to be heroes, to inspire them with hardworking, and hope inspiring qualities that the heroes of legends had.
Now, he was witnessing a living legend right in front of his eyes, the Giant of Light readying for battle against a monster that even the heroes couldn't fight. He doubt that he could truly defeat the monster on his own, except probably durimg his prime days. He was going to witness how a legendary hero fought, and he was going to remember this for the rest of his life.
Meanwhile, Bakugo was looking at the Giant in shock, as he had no idea of what it was and where it came from. "The heck is that thing? It doesn't look like a pro, what the hell is that thing?! ", he thought to himself. For the first time in his life, he felt like a bug, witnessing this Giant who easily kicked away that monster, that overpowered the pro heroes easily.
The other heroes were having a hard time processing the situation. They had never heard such a being in their entire lives, let alone seen something so powerful. The heroes normally would try to stop this vigilante individual from performing these acts of unlawful heroism, but at this point, with them on their last kness and having not enough power to do so, they decided to let this go, as the giant is probably the only thing that could defeat that monster.
Back with the battle
Izuku looked at the monster, with his new eyes, as he prepared to fight seriously for the first time in his life. He put his fist in front of him, while crouching slightly and put his legs slightly apart. The monster, as if sensing his intentions, got itself ready for attack. There was a momentary silence between them, no movement as they stared at each other. The onlookers waited with baited breath for the confrontation to occur, even Bakugo shutted his mouth up during the silence.
And then...
As a building fell to the ground, both titans began their battle.
Izuku rushed at the monster, and began barraging with punches and chops at the monster's face and chest with his own fists, damaging the monster and making it feel pain, even pushing it back slightly. The monster retaliated with a tail swipe to the giant's left leg, causing it to lose its balance for a moment, leaving him momentary to an attack to his side from the monster's headbutt with its horns.
Izuku went down and landed on his backside, as the monster proceeded to stomp on his chest multiple times with its giant foot. Izuku tried to block it with his arms, but the beast was relentless, so he decided to kick its chest ith his foot, as he unconciously empowered his foot with a light energy, causing the beast to skid across the street and making it pant heavily from the hit.
Both titans took a small breath to recover from the hits taken, as they recovered from the hits they took. As he was trying to catch his breath, Izuku was forced to dodge a rushed horn attack from the monster, who used its legs to push itself to full speed while crouching itself to half its height. The monster crashed into a building, completely destroying it. Luckily, the heroes and law enforcement had evacuated most of the citizens, with some having been injured seriously and sent hurriedly to the hospital. Izuku proceeded to dodge another horn attack from the monster, though this time he was still hit in the side from its horns, causing intense pain in his sides.
Izuku tried to dodge all the horn attacks but he was unable to dodge every one of them and was hurt considerably, and was sent flying to a building during one of the attacks. He started to pant and grunt from the pain from the injuries he got, and started to feel his power waning on him. The Colour Timer on his chest started to blinking red, signalling he was running out of time and too injured at this point. Izuku started to think it was over for him, that he was going to die in this fight.
The audienece watching began to worry about the Giant, as he was obviously trying to save them by fighting the monster. They felt useless as they lack any power to help, even the Heroes, such as Kamui Woods, Death Arms, Mount Lady and All Might felt powerless to help the Giant. All Might, in particular, felt even more useless as he was the No. 1 Hero yet he couldn't do anything to help the situation in front of him. Bakugo, who had been silent the entire time, decided it was time to find his voice.
"HEY! YOU BIG GIANT BEHEMOTH! GET UP AND FIGHT THAT THING!", Bakugo roared at the top of his lungs, as he tried to reach the Giant with his own version of "support". "GET UP AND BEAT THE HECK OUT OF IT! YOU'RE A HERO RIGHT?! THEN ACT LIKE ONE?!!", He continued to roar his own support to the Giant, as he felt so weak in comparison, not being able to fight against the monster, and... not being able to help Deku, who he still thinks is trapped under the rubble, and possibly dead.
All the other citizens looked at the boy in surprise, before beginning to send their own wave of support to the Giant. The Heroes looked at the scene and couldn6 but feel useless at the fact that they can't do anything else, so they cheered their own support for the Gian. All Might, who was watching the scene as Yagi Toshinori, could only stand in silence as he watched the citizens and Heroes cheer for the Giant's victory, as he never has once watched such unity in cheering for someone's victory. He then decided to cheer as well to further give moral to the Giant, who was on its last legs from the last attack.
"GO FOR IT GIANT! YOU CAN BEAT IT!"
"PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP! YOU CAN DO IT!"
"HEY GIANT! KICK THAT REPTILE'S ASS FOR DESTROYING THE CITY!"
"PLEASE HELP US AND DON'T GIVE IN! YOU'RE OUR ONLY HOPE NOW!"
"DON'T GIVE UP, ULTRAMAN!!!!!", Yagi Toshinori roared at the top of his lungs.
Izuku heard the cheers and support of the citizens and even the Heroes for his battle against the monster. He felt the hope, fear and support from the people's cheers, as if empowering him with their hope, he found the strength to fight against the monster, but he felt that he couldn't do anything significant damage against nor had a plan to defeat it.
Until, he remembered the light energy he used on his foot, he thought about it and tried to use it again against the monster. Izuku brought his right hand In front of him, and tried to use and charge it with the energy, which worked out as he covered his right hand with energy and ready a punch for the monster, who was preparing for another horn attack.
He then tried to punch the monster, but instead of an enhanced punch, he shot out a blast of Light instead at the monster, who had been hit by the blast and was sent knocked back a good ways back to a destroyed building. He looked in surprise of the results, and then steeled himself to attack once more. He covered his hand in the light again, this time he covered both of his hands this time.
The monster saw what he was doing and prepared for a faster attack this time, but it was still had its balance disrupted by the previous blast, making it slower than before and not as fast to react to Izuku's attack. Izuku, who noticed this, wasted no time and blast the monster with consecutive blasts of light, that all hit it target and caused immense damaged to the monster's hide and made it fall down to its knees. Izuku rushed at the monster with a kick to its horned head, and proceeded to grapple it by its neck, by using both of his arms to hold its neck and then threw it to the side, as hard as he can.
The monster was thrown to an another destroyed building, and groaned in pain from throw. The monster roared in anger at the Giant and glared at it, with intention to kill it more ruthlessly than ever. The monster readied itself for an attack, as Izuku ran towards it for another punch. The monster dodged the punch and then hit him with his tail, with the strongest swipe it could muster. Izuku managed to grabbed its tail with both of his hands before it could hit him completely, and proceeded to hold on tight to it, while spinning the monster around by its tail.
The monster got sent flying to high in the air, and continued to fly in mid-air for awhile. Before it got land, Izuku charge the last of his energy into his arms, and readied one last attack. As if he had always done so, he put his arms together into a cross-style position, with his right hand on top of his left, and aimed it at the monster in the sky. He charged all of his strength into his arms and then proceeded to shoot out a powerful beam of light at the monster.
The beam managed to hit the monster and as it impacted the monster, it began destroying it, while in the air. The monster released one last roar before getting obliterated by the beam, exploding in the air without any big remains, aside from one of his horns was sent flying to a nearby forest area.
Izuku put both of his hands on his sides, as he panted from exhaustion and looked at the explosions created by the monster's destruction. He then heard cheers from the citizens and even Heroes, as he looked to see them cheering for his victory and were happy for the defeat of the monster. He could only look in silent shock, as he had never heard cheers for himself in his entire life, he could only give a nod of thankfulness for the support. The Heroes were contemplating on how to address the potential vigilante that saved them, before he started to fade away with light covering him. They tried to stop him but they were too late, as he managed to disappear without any traces.
"STOP RIGHT THERE! YOU NEED TO ANSWER SOME OF OUR QUEST-?!" , Kamui Woods started but he was already too late. He could only sigh in disappointment, as he could only managed to get to the after battle scene before the Giant disappeared. "Welp, that was a bust, but hey, at least everyone is okay now," said Mount Lady about the current situation. And she was right, things could've been worse if the Giant didn't interfered.
"But still, what was that thing? and that Giant? you saw how strong it was, right? It could fight against that beast and even destroyed it.", Death Arms remarked. The Heroes were questioning everything that had happened so far, and were still confused on the eventually that had happened. Then, Kamui Woods remembered one of the citizens calling the Giant "Ultraman", and went to find the person who did so, and managed to as he was still un the area trying to help out with the cleaning of the streets.
"Excuse me sir, may I ask you a question, you don't mind?", Kamui asked the man, Yagi Toshinori, who in turn looked at the wooden man questioning him. He agree to the questioning and was asked, "You called that Giant "Ultraman", if I'm correct? Are you familiar with the Giant or do you know its identity?", Kamui asked Yagi, who in turned responded, "No, I don't know who that Giant is personally, but I know of a story that has been told in my family for generations about A Giant of Light who protects the people during times of peril, such as this one. They called the Giant, Ultraman, due to its size and incredible power. I thought it was a myth, a bedtime story from the older generation, but it seems like everything about those Tales are true now." Yagi explained why he knew the Giant's supposed name to the Heroes and citizens nearby list, who were all enthralled by the tale and could only gap at the fact such a being existed for so long with no one's knowledge.
A few moments later
Yagi was still coming to terms to the fact of Ultraman's existence being proven real by this incident, but he couldn't ignore the facts and the results of the actions of Ultraman and his powers. He wanted to know where he came from and possibly learn from the Giant, as he felt so lacking in comparison to the Giant, especially with his current power and will to save others. He couldn't do anything but cheer on the Giant as he fought with its life to save the lives of the people, while he, who ran out of time for the day, couldn't do anything to even support.
He was ashamed of himself, and wanted to be better. Maybe it was time to take up that offer from Sasaki to see this Togata boy if he was as great as he said he was as his successor. Before he could finish those thoughts, he was interrupted by a grunt by Bakugo, who was trying to lift up a pile of rubble, of where he was originally trapped. He decided to help the boy, when he heard him say, "Come on, Deku! Get out of here already! Where are you?! Come on, just say something already!!", Bakugo continued to scrambled around the rubble, trying to find his former childhood friend in vain.
Yagi could only look at the boy in sadness and anger at himself for not having power at this time. He couldn't help but feel guilty at the fact that a young man could had possibly died, or at the very least was injured greatly, during this attack. He went to help and maybe comfort the boy, when suddenly a familiar green haired boy suddenly appeared from another pile of rubble, a bit far from Bakugo's pile, and was dusted up slightly, but otherwise, unharmed from the incident. He was shocked at the boy's sudden appearance, but was further shocked when he heard the ash blond boy shouted the boy as Deku, and ran the get him, but Deku seemed to had other plans and ran away from the scene, as if scared of what will happen if he was found. He decided to chase after the boy in his normal form, as he had yet recovered his strength enough to go into his buff form, to find his own answers.
Meanwhile, Bakugo tried to chase after Deku, especially since he wanted to know that he didn't needed his help and was fine on his own back during the attack, though a small part of his mind told him otherwise. As he almost got to him, Izuku took a turn and then vanish out of thin air, leaving him alone and confused at the sudden disappearance. While he was standing all confused, Izuku was in the distance, on top of a building roof, getting carried by the collar of his uniform by the same stranger that he had bumped into before. The man with red glasses on his shirt.
Izuku looked in confusion of the man, and questioned how he managed to grab him and zoom to the top of this roof so fast. He started thinking if this was the man's quirk, before getting dropped gently by the man. He looked up at the man and started to feel scared of what the man was going to do. Before he could even question the man, the man spoke first in a wise and gentle voice.
"Don't worry young man, I'm not going to hurt you or do anything of harm to you. I just wanted to ask you some questions about the Giant you turned into.", the man asked Izuku, who had his eyes widen in shock at the man knowing about his transformation, and wondered just who this man was.
"I'm sure you have question, so I'll first say somethings to clear the air a bit on what just happened.", the man started off and he looked to Izuku who permission to continue, who looked to be considering his options before nodding to him in acceptance, making the man smile.
"First off, my name is Dan Moroboshi, well at least on this planet. I go by many names across many worlds, but my true name is Seven, Ultraseven." the man, now known as Dan Moroboshi, introduced himself to Izuku, who was processing the last part of the man's introduction.
"Wait? many worlds? Seven is his true name? Ultraseven... why does that feel familiar? ", Izuku thought to himself, as he felt a sense of familiarity at the name, especially the name Ultraseven. The man continued while Izuku was still thinking.
"You might be wondering about the many worlds. Don't worry, I'll explain that soon but first I will say this. Midoriya Izuku, descendant of Midoriya Daisuke, host of the First Ultraman that came to this world, you are not human. Well not completely, as during the time your Ancestor merged with my brother, he had gained the genetic code of our species, the Ultras.", Dan revealed to Izuku, who was in shock of what heard and couldn't help but say this.
"Wait a minute?! You mean to say I'm not only human but I'm also a ...", he couldn't finish that sentence, as he could only gap in shock of what he was being told. Had he not transformed into that Giant just now, he wouldn't have believed it at all. But with everything that had happened so far, it could only be true and mean one thing that he was-
"Yes. Midoriya Izuku, you are not just a human, but you are also part of a race of beings with the power unimaginable to humans, who have given their lives to protect the cosmos and galaxies that they can reach. You are human, yet you have the strength of my brethren.
You, Midoriya Izuku, are an Ultraman, not just any Ultra, but the descendant of the first Ultraman to have come to your planet. And you are now the current protector of this planet", Dan declared to, while pointing at him, Izuku, who could only look at the man with shock that couldn't compared to anything he had heard before this.
