The next thing I saw was the red sphere closing and everyone in it disappearing. I felt as if the world was in slow motion, as Sailor Moon's Moon rod fell to the ground and landed with a clatter. "No…" I breathed, my eyes wide. "Usako…"

"Noooo!" Venus cried, falling to her knees. I felt as if my heart was breaking in two. Usagi...my one true love was gone.

"Sailor Earth." A voice called, racing to me and kneeling beside me. "We have to get out of here." Tuxedo Mask told me.

"Yeah…" I muttered, shakily getting to my feet. I took a couple steps forward and retrieved the Moon Rod. I held it to my chest as Tuxedo Mask grabbed my staff before we all entered the Crystal Palace once more. Neo-Queen Gaia was waiting for us and led us through the glittering halls back towards the observation room within the castle. A thought popped into my mind head. I turned to Neo-Queen Gaia as we walked. Neo-Queen Gaia opened the doors to the observation room. She waved her staff over the panel and grit her teeth. I could feel the frustration come off her in waves. "Nemisis." She growled, her hands clenching. "It's gone, again, out of Orbit."

"Neo-Queen Gaia, if Sailor Moon and the others are really on that dark planet, then we have to rescue them as soon as possible." Tuxedo Mask stated.

"I know." Neo-Queen Gaia sighed. "But we have to locate it before we can even attempt a rescue mission."

"What we need are the Legendary Crystals." Venus said. "They alone can help us save our friends. But the only two people who can use the Legendary Silver Crystal aren't here. Without Neo-Queen Serenity or Sailor Moon, there's no way."

"Chibi-Usa...Chibi-Kumi!" Luna gasped. We turned to the black cat as she spoke her thoughts. "What about Chibi-Usa or Chibi-Kumi? As Neo-Queen Serenity's daughters, one of them should be able to use the Silver Crystal too! They are the heirs of Silver Mileniumn, aren't they?"

"They are." Neo-Queen Gaia agreed. "They are descended from both Silver Millennium and Golden Elysium, and they are of Royal blood…" Neo-Queen Gaia looked away. "Neither of our daughters possess any powers. How old do they appear to you? Seven years of age? In actuality, the twins are nine-hundred years old." My ears perked up at that.

"Nine-hundred?" I repeated.

"One day, for reasons unknown, Usagi and Kumiko just...stopped aging. They've been stuck with their seven-year-old appearance ever since. Neither of them possesses any abilities and neither are able to transform."

"Poor things." Venus sympathised. "What if they never transform or learns to use the Crystals? Will they still take the thrones?"

"Of course. I believe in my daughters. I know that one day they will be able to wield the Crystals. They will grow up. Their destinies are to protect this world as we have."

"Neo-Queen Gaia, is there anything else you know about the Black Moon?" Luna asked. "You said the group had a history of causing trouble, how did it all start?"

"It was Several centuries ago. Crystal Tokyo had grown to be the most beautiful place on Earth, the city was peaceful and it's citizens could live their lives without worry. However, that peace was shattered when a tyrant made his presence known. His goal was to wreak havoc and cause as much destruction as he could. His name was Phantom. At that point, Neo-Queen Serenity and I had only watched over Crystal Tokyo. But, when the city was threatened, we fought to protect it. That's the first time I transformed without the use of the Legendary Golden Crystal. I had retired the Earth's prize jewel from combat and only used it to enhance the lives of our citizens. But when my people were threatened…" Neo-Queen Gaia closed her eyes. "I had to fight, we both had to, for our city. We captured Phantom and banished him to Nemesis. We shut all access to the planet, and soon, harmony returned to our Kingdom. Phantom's deeds became mear ghost stories, the people recounting them oblivious to the truth. It was quiet until a new radical group emerged out of the blue. They declared death on all who hailed from the Moon and Earth Kingdoms. Just as phantom did, they had black crescent marks on their foreheads."

"So I'm assuming these radicals are the Black Moon, am I right?" Artemis wondered.

"Could they be Phantom's children?" Topaz muttered. "Descendants even."

"I have no idea." Neo-Queen Gaia admitted. "But their family history is of no importance." Her hands became fists on the console. "I refuse to allow them to cause my people more harm." I looked down at the Moon Stick in my hand, cracked and damaged. I swear to you Usako, I will find you I thought. Just hold on a little longer.
