Several years after the defeat of the United Alliance Of Evil, the original Power Rangers lived normal lives while some continue as Power Rangers. However, Billy, attempted to try reviving Zordon but suddenly Rita Repulsa was revived and tries to kill the Rangers resulting in Trini's death, and her daughter now wants revenge through any means necessary, causing problems for all.

Hello and welcome to my first experimental fanfic of Power Rangers, in which a new inspiration popped into my head in an unexpected way, and I'm sure you'll be baffled as to what made me come up with an experimental and risky fanfiction I wrote, so below is the explanation on why.

This started last year when I was surfing on my smartphone and came across a Facebook article which announced that the some of the original cast members of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers are reprising their roles for a SPECIAL. This somewhat raised my curiosity as it has been decades since I last saw the original cast of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, which the actors portraying Zack Taylor and Trini Kwan left during the 1st quarter of Season 2 of MMPR.

Austin St. John was able to reprise his role of Jason Lee Scott via Power Rangers Zeo and Power Rangers Turbo movie before making a final appearance in the Forever Red special in Power Rangers Wild Force, which Jason David Frank reprised his role of Tommy Oliver after the latter actor left Turbo during the middle of the season alongside Johnny Yong Bosch, Katherine Hillard and Rocky De Santos, only to make a semi-regular appearance in Power Rangers Dino Thunder.

Ever since watching Choudenshi Bioman in the mid-80s, which aired in my country via the Philippine English dub, I was fascinated by the plot and stuff as I was unfamiliar with the Sentai series at the time. When Power Rangers aired in my country in mid-1994, I was reminded of Bioman and I became hooked on Power Rangers and watched it from season 1-3 until Zeo.

However nothing followed after Zeo, and the Philippine TV channel that aired Power Rangers (ABS-CBN 2) began re-running season 1 of Power Rangers in Filipino dub, and the dubbed voices were terrible which turned me off and thus I lost my interest in Power Rangers. Thankfully when YouTube was introduced during the advent of the internet during the mid-2000s, my curiosity got the best of me and began to find out the series that followed Zeo, where I found out the subsequent seasons:

Power Rangers Turbo. I was somewhat baffled as the Zords used in this season are nothing more than vehicle-themed, but I nevertheless checked it out, and there I became more baffled as the first episode saw Steve Cardenas departing and replacing him was a 12-year old middle school boy which I find it odd yet I continue to watch as I wonder how the plot would go, and mid-way the remaining four departed and replaced with new actors, and along the way Zordon also departed, which made me curious as to what would happen next, especially after watching the final two episodes which the Turbo Rangers lost and the villains triumphant which the events led to the next season.

Power Rangers In Space. This season turns out that this would conclude the Zordon saga and it was a departure from the previous seasons, where the CAMPY tones were gradually dropped in favor of some heavy themes and drama which resulted in Zordon sacrificing himself to save the universe, and while Bulk and Skull were the original cast members to appear, none of the original Power Rangers are present and thus are unaware of Zordon's sacrifice and passing (but Tommy and Jason were eventually informed of this via Andros off-screen).

And while the Power Rangers series was acquired by Disney by the end of 2003, I still watched the subsequent seasons but I started to waiver and gradually lose interest when the mecha battle scenes are shown in CGI, as I was really into actual mecha fight scenes via the suit actors, and after watching Power Rangers Mystic Force, I sort of stopped watching, though I visited the Power Rangers wiki site to get some info and other stuffs.

After hearing the announcement of Mighty Morphin Power Rangers: Once And Always, I was curious as to how the writers would pull it off given the fact that some of the original actors are unable to reprise their roles.

Thuy Trang passed away in 2001 in a car accident while Jason David Frank passed away in late 2022 due to suicide brought upon by personal struggles and mental health issues, while St. John got embroiled in legal matters which prevented him from traveling, yet I was quite surprised that Cardenas was available and thus able to reprise the Red Ranger character.

Amy Jo Johnson turned down the offer to reprise her role for personal reasons, hence Hillard is able to step in to reprise the Pink Ranger character, alongside other characters from season 2 of MMPR (Tanya and Aisha).

While I haven't been able to watch Once and Always yet, I was able to read the plot synopsis on the Power Rangers wiki site, and after reading it, I was partly impressed yet there are some plot holes and other factors pertaining the other characters, and I there I thought of making my own fanfic interpretation based on Once and Always.

While I'll be using some elements from Once and Always, I'm going to insert some original plot, as Trini's daughter will be portrayed as an anti-hero due to her mission of revenge, but I would include a number of surprise characters from the Power Rangers series which would put Minh in a possible conflict.

Moreover a select Power Rangers team might appear in some future chapters as some of them may have an indirect connection to the plot, which you'll eventually find out.

Whether this fic would be received by fans or rejected would depend on how they would view it as this is going to be my first attempt on a Power Rangers fanfic since I'm more into Kamen Rider.

Ch. 1: Prologue

1998.

The scene shows that planet Earth is being besieged by the forces of Astromena and there she was able to capture Angel Grove and there she issued an ultimatum to the citizens: surrender the Power Rangers or face death at the hands of her forces…in a brutal and violent manner.

In outer space, it is shown that the villains from various factions organized by Dark Specter are simultaneously attacking other worlds, which prompted other teams of Power Rangers to go into battle to repulse the villainous alliance.

Shown below are what is happening at the moment, which puts pressure on the various hero teams:

1) On Gratha, the Aquitarian Power Rangers battle Divatox's forces, who beat them back terribly.

2) On a planet in the Vica Galaxy, Trey of Triforia, aka the Gold Zeo Ranger, battles Lord Zedd and Rita Repulsa, who manage to subdue him.

3) On the Phantom Ranger's homeworld, the Phantom Ranger and the Blue Senturion battle against the Machine Empire and General Havoc and are outmatched.

4) On KO-35, Zhane and the rebels battle against Quadrafighters and Cogs sent by the Machine Empire. Zhane leaves to get help, but the rebels are eventually forced to surrender.

4) On Earth, Astronema plans to destroy the planet using 2 Super-Missiles which are stolen by Darkonda to use on Dark Specter and the Dark Fortress. It's defended by the Space Rangers, consisting of Carlos Vallerte, T. J. Johnson, Ashley Hammond, and Cassie Chan, who POWERED DOWN and mixed with the citizens to hide and make preparations for a counterattack.

The next scene shifts at the Command Center, where Billy Cranston arrived a few hours ago using a teleportation device which sent him to Earth from Aquitar, and he expressed shock at seeing the Command Center was 90% damaged, in which, through unspecified means learned that Divatox and her forces were able to infiltrate the Command Center and proceeded to bomb the base that led to its current condition, and soon he was joined by Jason Lee Scott and Tommy Oliver, and there the trio survey the area, and while the damage was extensive, Billy was able to reveal that Divatox's arrogance made her overlook a certain area that her forces failed to notice.

There was a hidden chamber where it stored the Zeo Zords, the Super Zeo Zords, the Red Battlezord, and the Warrior Wheel. Moreover, Billy also revealed that the Ninjazords, the Shogunzords and the Falconzord are intact, alongside the Carrierzords Titanus and Tor the Shuttlezord.

"Looks like we still have available Zords."

"Yeah. I'm surprised that Divatox seemingly overlooked this matter, and that T. J. and the others appeared to have forgotten about this fact."

"Well, Jason, Tommy…I can assume that Alpha must've forgotten about this as he and the Turbo Rangers were probably focused on defending the Command Center that they probably forgotten about the older Zords."

"Still it's a lucky coincidence. We now have at least a chance to stop the Invaders here "

"Same here. Good thing the Dragon coin is still in full power."

"Yeah. At this rate we'll be needing all the Zords new could use."

"Yeah."

"Same here. By the way, Billy…"

"Yes…?"

There Jason inquired Billy on how are they going to activate the Ninja and Shogunzords as the Ninja Power Coins are destroyed by Goldar prior to retrieving the Zeo Crystals, which Billy said that when the Aquitarian Power Rangers came to help he is able to invent a device that would allow them to remotely control the Shogunzords, and just now he is able to duplicate it and now the Ninjazords can be controlled alongside the Shogunzords, but Jason grimly said that with the Gold Ranger Powers in Trey's hands, he won't be able to help much, but Tommy reiterated that Jason can help.

And in a surprising turn of events, two unexpected visitors showed up unannounced, surprising Billy and Tommy, as the two entrants are revealed to be Ninjor and Auric The Conquerorzord, which Jason raised an eyebrow as he never encountered Ninjor before.

"Greetings, Rangers!"

"Behold! Auric The Conqueror has returned!"

"Ninjor!"

"Auric!"

"Ah, Tommy and Billy! It's good to see you again!"

"You two looked quite well!"

"Good to see you two again!"

"And it's been a while too."

Ninjor then went to Jason and told him that he had a NICE CHAT with Auric and learned a great deal about him, such as Jason previously leading the Power Rangers before Tommy was appointed as the new leader, and there Ninjor gave Jason a Power Coin and said that he can control the Ninja Megazord while Billy will remotely control the Shogun Megazord and the Falconzord.

"Here. Use this as your help will be needed."

"Thanks, Ninjor."

"I am sure that you'll he able to help your friends in saving Angel Grove and the world."

"Yeah…and I will do all I can."

"Good, now that's the spirit!"

"I won't let everyone down."

"Attaboy! You have the spirit of a ninja!"

"Yeah."

While Tommy thanked Ninjor he asked what he and Auric would do, which Ninjor said that when the right time comes he and Auric will strike and thus allow the citizens of Angel Grove to evacuate while distracting Astromena's troops, and this made Billy, Jason and Tommy nodding in agreement and there they began to make preparations for a preemptive assault.

The next day, the scene shifts at. Angel Grove, where Astromena and Ecliptor arrived and announced their ultimatum where she demanded that the citizens of Angel Grove surrender the Power Rangers to her or face death at her hands, as her troopers are getting ready to commence the massacre.

The citizens were initially hesitant to respond and there Astromena asked the citizens again where are the Power Rangers, yet she is quite ticked to see that the citizens are silent and not giving a response she is impatiently waiting, yet Ecliptor said that perhaps the Power Rangers got scared and abandoned the citizens of Angel Grove which Astromena seemingly liked the scenario.

"Maybe the Power Rangers ran off crying…probably they recognize the fact that they can't win…"

"You could be right…"

"Then this means that we won…"

"Looks like it."

"Then that means we won the battle."

"Indeed…and now we should celebrate! But…"

"Huh…?"

"About these excess baggage here…"

Feeling triumphant, but wanting to see the terror and despair from the citizens, Astronema berates the Rangers as cowards, and demands that the Rangers turn themselves over or else she would have her troopers massacre everyone here. Just as Zhane and the others are about to do so and as Astronema calls for Earth's Destruction, Bulk calls out to wait and steps forward, claiming to be a Power Ranger, saying "I am the Blue Ranger!".

Skull follows suit and said "I am the Black Ranger!", as does Professor Phenomenus who said that "I am the Red Ranger!", with Adelle Ferguson following suit and chimed "You can call me the Pink Ranger!", the old Man proclaiming "And I'm the Silver Ranger!", and the Woman screamed "I'm the Yellow Ranger!", and then the rest of Angel Grove citizens declares themselves to be Rangers.

The Space Rangers, in their civilian guise, watch this and are both shocked and impressed that the citizens are standing up for them. Astronema and Ecliptor, however, are infuriated by this act of defiance, so they decide to kill everyone and begin firing on them, but then another unexpected entrants showed up, which Bulk and Skull were surprised to see who showed up.

It was Tommy Oliver, Jason Lee Scott, Zack Taylor, Adam Park, Trini Kwan, and Kat Hillard, and there they told Astromena to stop acting like cowards for picking on the defenseless, and said that since she demanded the Power Rangers, she got it, which Astromena accuses them of attempting to deceive her. This is because she only encountered the Space Rangers, hence she is unaware of the previous Power Rangers teams given that she haven't encountered them before.

"You call yourselves Power Rangers? That's an old trick! Astromena, they're just messing with us!"

"I can tell! And you lot are pathetic jokers! You expect me to believe that you're Power Rangers?"

"You bet! And we'll prove it! Ready, guys?"

"Ready!"

"Ready!"

"Ready!"

"Ready!"

"Ready!"

There Tommy gave Jason the Zeo Morpher and told him that this is the closest he could get in having a power comparable to the Gold Ranger Powers, which Jason nodded.

"Here you go…Wait…are you sure about this, Tommy…?"

"Yeah. And trust me…it'll come in handy."

"Okay."

"So you ready?"

"Sure am."

"And this is going to be a fight for the Earth and the universe."

"Yeah. I'm with you."

"Good."

Then Tommy rallied his comrades as they initiated their transformation into Power Rangers, which the Space Rangers, including Bulk and Skull, watched in surprise.

"White Ranger Power!"

"Zeo Ranger Five…Red!"

"Mastadon!"

"Zeo Ranger Four…Green!"

"Sabretooth Tiger!"

"Zeo Ranger One…Pink!"

The citizens of Angel Grove were surprised to see this, with Bulk and Skull equally surprised to find out that their schoolmates from Angel Grove High were Power Rangers all this time, yet Astromena was baffled as she never encountered another group of Power Rangers before, yet seeing that there are only six of them, she believes that she has the upper hand.

There Astromena ordered her troopers to commence the massacre and the troopers are getting ready to attack, but then the Space Rangers reveal themselves, morph, perform their roll call of colors (with Zhane telling Astronema that she's gone too far), and battle the Quantrons, Piranhatrons and Elgar.

Twitching her eyes, she brought out her radio and ordered her forces to use their space jets and bombard Angel Grove and the citizens, where a few minutes later some fighter ships arrived and are ready to shoot down the citizens and the two Power Ranger groups, and there Ninjor and Auric made their move as they assume their giant forms and began to swat the ships aside.

"Hah! Ninjor is back and ready for action!"

"The conqueror has arrived! Evildoers, prepare to face the wrath of Auric!"

"You lot will not cause damage to mother earth!"

"And you will not have your way with these innocent people!"

"Now you will experience the full power of ninja!"

"And my blade will shatter all that is evil!"

"So prepare yourselves!"

"The time for reckoning is at hand!"

At this point Tommy, as the White Mighty Morphin Power Ranger, summoned the Falconzord and went on board, where he engages the flying ships in an aerial dogfight and moments later the Shogun Megazord and the Ninja Megazord showed up and takes on the mothership which slowly took a beating before Titanus and Tor joined the fight and fired a barrage of ammo which gradually caused the mothership to take more damage.

Another huge ship arrived and landed on the waters near the harbor, and there the White Ranger's sentient weapon, the enchanted sword Saba, told him the situation, though Tommy said that he's got everything covered, which Saba sighed as he tells him that today is quite a slight trip to memory lane.

"Oh dear…I guess it can't be helped…"

"You know how it is, Saba…"

"Even if the Tigerzord is revived it can't do anything on water, huh?"

"Yeah, that's why I'm going to use THAT…"

"That sure takes you way back, eh…?"

"Yeah…just like how I started as a Power Ranger…"

"Very well. Better get to it, Tommy."

"Right. I need Dragonzord power…now!"

There the White Ranger brought out the Dragon Dagger and played a tune, where the Dragonzord emerges from the water roaring in a triumphant return, and immediately fired its finger missiles as the ship fired a barrage of ammo though the Dragonzord wasn't fazed as it wade through the waters before using its drill tail to bore a hole on the ship's haul before using its jaws to rip the ship apart, causing the ship to explode and killed the troopers inside it.

Realizing things are getting out of hand, Astronema and Ecliptor teleport back to the Dark Fortress to come up with a plan to mount a comeback, leaving her troopers behind as Bulk and Skull rally the citizens and they join the battle, assisting the Power Rangers in taking out the enemy troopers.

Meanwhile, on the Dark Fortress, Andros creates a diversion and locks Ecliptor out of the control room. Searching for his sister inside, he instead discovers Zordon who is held prisoner there. While Andros was glad and relieved to see him, Zordon informed Andros of the dire situation and tells him that to defeat the forces of Evil, Andros must shatter his energy tube and destroy him, shocking the latter.

"You…want me…to what…?"

"Yes, Andros."

"You…can't be serious…"

"I'm afraid I am, Andros…"

"But…there has to be another way…!"

"I'm sorry, Andros…but there is no other option…"

"No…it's too much…! I…I…"

"You must, Andros…the fate of the entire universe depends on this…"

Andros initially refuses, but Zordon convinces him there's no other way to save the universe, and after a few minutes of being in conflict, Andros slowly raises his Spiral Saber and prepares to strike the final blow, but hesitates, unwilling to kill his mentor. Just then Astronema arrives and attacks Andros. He refuses to fight her and tries to get her to remember that they're brother and sister.

"Karone!"

"Take this!"

"Please, stop!"

"Take that!"

"Karone! I'm your brother!"

"And that!"

"Karone! Please! We're siblings! We shouldn't fight!"

"Screw you!"

Astronema, however, doesn't listen, and, due to the re-programming she got, attacks him relentlessly. She even throws him through a mesh wall and prepares to finish him off with her Wrath Staff, saying, "Goodbye, brother". At the last moment, Andros grabs his Spiral Saber and blocks the incoming attack. The energy bolt ricochets off of the blade and hits Astronema, killing her.

Andros is horrified, fearing that his sister is gone forever. Just then Ecliptor bursts in and saw what happened as he knelt down beside her dead body, trying to wake her up but realized that she is already gone, and blamed Andros for what he did to her despite Andros trying to explain that it wasn't intentional.

"You! You killed her! She's like a daughter to me!"

"It wasn't intentional!"

"Shut up! You'll pay for this!"

"No, stop!"

"I'll kill you! I'll kill you!"

"Dark Specter made her like this! I tried not to harm her…!"

"Shut up and die!"

"Stop!"

Devastated that the Princess whom he considered a daughter is dead, he attacks Andros. The two battle furiously, until Zordon reminds Andros that he has to destroy the energy tube; telling Andros that it's his duty as a Power Ranger to save the universe, no matter the cost and regardless of what will befall him, further distressing Andros as Ecliptor is steadily gaining the upper hand.

No…Zordon…I can't t…I just can't…!"

"Yes, Andros. You have to do it."

"You…can't be serious…if I do that…you'll…you'll…"

"Its alright, Andros…I am prepared for this. You must do this in order to save the universe."

"But…there has to be another way…! I'm not a murderer…! I…"

"I'm sorry, Andros…but there is no other option…and time is running out."

"No…it's too much…! I…I…"

"You must, Andros…the fate of the entire universe depends on this…"

After striking Ecliptor down for the count, Andros breaks away from the fight and at Zordon's urging, Andros reluctantly does so, as he smashed the energy tube, and there something unexpected took place, as Zordon's life force glowed brightly, sending a golden wave of energy across the universe which purifies Rita, Zedd and Divatox, and at the same time wipes out all the other invading Evil villains.

On Earth, the two Power Rangers team saw what happened as Astromena's troopers were struck by the energy wave and reduced to dust, thus ending the siege and Earth was saved, where Bulk, Skull and everyone else cheered on, which Tommy wondered what just happened, and there Trini and Zack wondered if the rest of the villains are defeated.

"Guys…do you think…?"

"I wonder…"

"Probably."

"Really…?"

"Looks like it…"

"If so…"

"Thank goodness…"

"Oh yeah…"

Ninjor and Auric shook hands before assuming their human-like sizes and joined everyone in celebrating, seeing that today was a joyous occasion where the ULTIMATE EVIL has been vanquished for good, and while everyone is happy the Space Rangers noticed that Ashley wasn't cheering, who suspects that Andros didn't make it.

Just then, the Dark Fortress lands nearby and Andros emerges with a lifeless Astronema in his arms. He lays her down and starts to cry, when suddenly Astronema returns to life and reverts into Karone. She wakes up with no memory of her days as the reprogrammed Astronema, and Andros hugs her.

Tommy, Jason, Zack, Trini, Adam and Kat, as well as Carlos, T. J., Ashley , and Cassie, went to Andros and inquire about what happened, and there Andros reluctantly told them what happened, which the two Ranger teams stood still in shock and disbelief upon hearing that Andros was forced to kill Zordon upon the latter's urging.

"What…?"

"Zordon…"

"He…"

"That can't be…"

"That's a lie…"

"No…"

"I can't believe what I'm hearing…"

"Why…?"

Trini and Kat hugged each other while crying, Jason suddenly knelt down as he was at loss for words with Zack trying to comfort him, and Tommy was trying to steel himself as he couldn't believe that he was unable to see Zordon for one last time, and as the citizens were celebrating, Bulk and Skull noticed their fellow Angel Grove high alumni were in a state of mourning, which Skull wondering what happened, and Bulk sensed that something bad must have happened to them.

"Uh…Bulk…"

"Yeah…?"

"Something's going on there…Jason and the others are crying…"

"Maybe its tears of joy…"

"Looks more like they're mourning…"

"Maybe something tragic happened…"

"Really…?"

"Looks like it, Skull. Even T. J. and the others are crying too…"

Ninjor and Auric also heard what Andros said, and they too were saddened to learn what befell Zordon yet they came to accept that the latter wished for it as defeating the ultimate evil was his priority and that he was prepared for this and vowed to honor his memory for the sacrifice he made to save Earth and the universe.

"This is sad indeed…"

"True…but Zordon knew of the risks…and he wished for this, so…"

"I feel bad that I wasn't able to see him go…"

"Me too "

"We should honor his memory,"

"I agree, Auric."

"So we should do some good deeds?"

"Of course."

Some time later, the Earth Rangers help the inhabitants of KO-35 rebuild their world and are about to board the Megaship, leaving for Earth. However, Andros, Zhane, and Karone plan to stay on KO-35, after Ashley tries unsuccessfully to persuade Andros to come with them.

The Earth Rangers sadly board the Megaship, with Ashley the most devastated that she has lost Andros, when suddenly he appears with Zhane and Karone. He tells D.E.C.A. to set a course for Earth. They go home, and with that, an era comes to an end.

In the years passed, everyone moved on and lead normal lives, yet some stayed in contact for reunions and other factors. Jason began dating Kimberly Hart, and through Jason, Kimberly and Tommy buried the hatchet and renewed their friendship, becoming close friends again like before.

Tommy eventually married Kat and are now awaiting the birth of their first child, while Billy, Adam and Zack began working on repairing the Command Center to have it go fully operational again, so that in the event that a new threat shows up, the Rangers would be ready to protect the Earth.

Trini eventually got married and after some time she gave birth to her only child, a girl. A few years later Bulk and Skull set up a business through a food restaurant at a popular resort within Angel Grove, with Tommy as their biggest financial backer, though Bulk and Skull became quite concerned when they overheard Tommy talking to Andros about surviving remnants of the Machine Empire yet Tommy assured to the two that they have nothing to worry about.

There Tommy reunited with Jason as they were joined by other Power Ranger members from other teams, each representing as the Red Ranger, which consists of the following:

- Jason Lee Scott – Mighty Morphin Power Ranger

- Aurico – Aquitar Red Ranger

- Tommy Oliver – Zeo Red Ranger

- T. J. Johnson – Turbo Red Ranger

- Andros – Space Red Ranger

- Leo Corbett – Galaxy Red Ranger

- Carter Grayson – Lightspeed Rescue Red Ranger

- Wesley Collins – Time Force Red Ranger

- Eric Myers – Time Force Quantum Ranger

- Cole Evans – Wild Force Red Ranger

There Jason and the summoned Power Ranger members learned from Tommy that Andros sent him a video message that some members of the Machine Empire survived and escaped Zordon's energy wave strike and are now planning to unearth Lord Zedd's personal Zord, Serpentera, and there the ten Rangers went to the moon and fought the surviving Machine Empire members, managing to destroy them but one managed to escape and boarded Serpentera and managed to head for Earth.

This prompted Tommy to call Alpha, who is stationed at the Command Center and there he sent forth the Zeo Megazord, Super Zeo Megazord, and the Red Battlezord to intercept Serpentera, just as Alpha also sent Tor the Shuttlezord to assist.

Seeing that Jason and Aurico are there Alpha sent the Ninja Megazord and the Shogun Megazord to assist as well. Then he sent forth the recently-repaired Turbo Megazord to give T. J. some much-needed assist.

As Serpentera arrived at the border-entry of Angel Grove, the surviving Machine Empire member is ready to lay waste at the place when the Ninja Megazord, piloted by Jason, arrived and is joined by the Falconzord, where the latter merged forming the Ninja-Falconzord, and uses the finisher to try stalling Serpentera, and in a surprising turn of events, it somewhat caused at least some damage as it struck the EYE area of Serpentera's head.

Aurico, now piloting the Shogun Megazord, is joined by Titanus and there they form an incomplete version of the Shogun Ultrazord and did a concentrated blast by aiming at Serpentera's legs, where Andros, who is piloting the Astro Megaship, watches the scene via the monitor where he points out to the others that Serpentera is starting to weaken as Wesley and Eric noticed that Serpentera's exterior armor is beginning to give way, which Andros said that this is likely due to years of being buried and not in use, especially as the colossal Zord hasn't been maintained.

The surviving Machine Empire members were apparently focused on supplying Serpentera with a needed energy source that they seemingly failed to notice that the Zord wasn't maintained over the years and believe that Serpentera is still functioning well, and there Corbett said that this is the chance to put a stop to Serpentera once and for all.

Moments later the Turbo Megazord began to attack other areas of Serpentera and there an idea popped into his head and told Jason, Tommy and Aurico about it which they agreed, and there they goaded Venjix, the remaining Machine Empire member, to come after them, which an infuriated Venjix unwittingly accepted.

The five Megazords then flew off and Serpentera gives chase and this chase led them towards a secluded area, and a helicopter followed where a reporter and her cameraman recorded and televised it live on news, and this live news was televised throughout majority within the United States of America, including Angel Grove, where Trini and her husband saw what is happening, and her husband asked Trini if she is sure about not going there and assist her fellow Power Rangers, but she smiled as she assured to him that her fellow Power Rangers have everything under control.

"Really, Trini? You sure you don't want to assist your friends?"

"Its fine, dear. They can handle it."

"But…that thing's humongous…and that…"

"Trust me. They have everything sorted out."

"Really, Trini?"

"Yes, dear."

"Okay. If you say so."

"Good."

Trini's daughter is asleep in her room, thus she is unaware of what is happening, and that her parents mutually agreed to keep the fact that Trini is a Power Rangers a secret so as not to spoil her and to give her a chance to lead a normal life and not lose her childhood to non-stop obligations should she discover the fact that her mother was a Power Ranger.

The scene shifts back to the scene of the battle, where the five Megazords are fighting off Serpentera, and there it turns out that the battle is near Animarium, and there the Wild Force Red Ranger summoned the Wild Zords, which surprised Andros as he did not expect to see that Cole Evans as so many animal-themed Zords, which the Wild Zords went and charged at Serpentera.

The other Red Rangers watched in awe as the Wildzords attacked Serpentera at all directions, and gradually the colossal Zord weakened and started to lose power while the interior began to go ablaze as Venjix is unwilling to concede and attempted to fight back, but the Wildzords began to do a single-line charge attack which Cole, piloting the Lion Wildzord, leading the attack and pierced through the mouth of Serpentera and rammed through the cockpit area, and ran over Venjix, and by the time the Wildzords exited Serpentera exploded and all that's left are burnt metallic debris.

The ten summoned Power Ranger members convened at the meeting place and thanked one another before going separate ways, with Andros, Aurico and Corbett returning to outer space, while Wesley and Eric returned to their own timeline. Tommy meets up with his wife Kat while Jason meets up with Kimberly, who is revealed that they are engaged to get marry soon.

Despite having her own family life Trini continued her duties as a Power Ranger while keeping her daughter in the dark, and while occasionally meeting with her friends she expressed surprise upon learning that Tommy moved to Reefside, California, where he teaches Paleontology and that he is mentoring a new team of Power Rangers called Dino Thunder.

Meanwhile Zack and Billy continue to do maintenance on the Command Center and at the same time they reminisce their yesteryears and how they missed Zordon, though Zack said that this is all for the best as Zordon chose to sacrifice his life to save the entire universe from the United Alliance Of Evil.

"Don't dwell on the past, Billy. What's done is done. I'm sure that Zordon is happy on where he is today."

"Yeah…I suppose…"

"Cheer up. Zordon wouldn't do that if he knows that it won't work…"

"Well…"

"Besides…ever since Zordon sacrificed himself to save the universe…there hasn't been any space bad guys coming to Earth. Zedd and Rita are gone…even Goldar is nowhere here for the past few years…"

"True…"

"So let's enjoy peace and life…"

"Okay."

As Zack went to another area, Billy couldn't help but wonder if there's a possibility to revive Zordon, and checking the monitor, he saw something that piqued his curiosity and seeing that no one else is around at this time, he thought of checking it out.

"Interesting…"

Hope you like the opening chapter, as this was inspired from the final two episodes of Power Rangers In Space, where the climatic battle was filled with the usual Power Rangers actions but with some added drama that was not present in the previous seasons…but also brought an end to an era where Zordon was the focal point of the story.

The difference here is that I added some original parts that were not present at the two-part Countdown To Destruction episodes, such as having the original Power Rangers appearing here, since I felt it would be symbolic since they were the ones who first met Zordon, and having them learn of what happened to him would show reaction to his passing.

Another original parts brought here are some of the seemingly forgotten support characters that disappeared without explanation appear here. Ninjor and Auric are prime examples, as the former disappeared after MMPR S3 ended and had no subsequent appearances during Zeo, hence he was not given a proper send-off. The same goes for Auric as he disappeared suddenly during the two-part episodes in Zeo which involves the departure of Billy, where no explanation was given on why Auric disappeared without reason, so I brought him here and gave him and Ninjor a spot to shine.

Another Easter egg moments here are some detailed info on what happened following Countdown To Destruction, where the original Power Rangers are shown on what they are doing after, including the events leading to Forever Red, and a brief mention about Tommy's exploits during Dino Thunder.

Also, having watched Forever Red, especially the final act, I find it anti-climatic that Serpentera got defeated by a flying motorcycle when the Thunderzords and even Toe were unable to match the colossal Zord in terms of strength yet a flying motorcycle did so with ease? Here I thought of giving my own interpretation of how Serpentera got defeated and there I had all of the Megazords from MMPR S3 to PRWF, and there I used the Wildzords (all of them) to take on Serpentera so as to give fans something to think of...

Trini's daughter made some brief appearances but in the next chapters she would gradually make more appearances and eventually becoming the focal point of this fic.
