Peter was at the Compound in his lab making webs.
May had died last year and Tony had taken him in.
A month later the Rouge Avengers went here and asked Tony for a second chance.
Peter wasn't happy but knew Tony missed them. Even though having Peter with him he still felt something missing.
So he talked to Rhodey, Pepper, Peter and Happy about it and after a while they agreed to let them back.
It was mostly Peter he had trouble with.
A week later they were cleared thanks to Tony.
Now that they're back together they had added two more Avengers.
Bucky and Peter.
Bucky after being fully cleared with T'Challa's help and apologizing to Tony it was done within two weeks.
After that Fury had told him he was almost the same thing as Steve and offered him to be an Avenger. To everyone's surprise he said yes to fix his mistakes over the years.
After the Vulture fight Tony had looked after Peter more and made the internship real.
When he was offered to be an Avenger he declined to look after the little guy but agreed to going on missions with them.
The day he lost May he was on patrol and trying to save her but failed so the day Tony took him in he said he'd join the Avengers and become one.
Fury admitted he was impressed at what he can do.
From the day the Avengers got back together he had gone on missions with them, fixed up their weapons and Bucky only lets him fix his arm.
Peter was surprised at that but Bucky had said he was better than Tony at things like his arm.
Tony had been a mixture of annoyed and proud at that at the same time.
When he was done with his webs he started working on Sam's wings.
They all trust him more than they trust Tony with their weapons.
Only Bruce, Vision, Wanda and Steve don't need work done.
After finding out he's Spider-Man Steve, Bucky and Natasha had started training him.
Steve and Bucky take care of strength the most while Natasha teaches him how to defend himself if he ever ran out of webs.
He was getting better and better every time.
Steve and Bucky both knew he's still holding back though and try to tell him they can take it but he never does.
Especially Bucky.
When he was done with the wings he smiled and nodded.
"There. All set."
"Peter, Sergeant Barnes says it's dinner time." FRIDAY said and he smiled.
"Tell him I'll be there in a minute."
"OK."
Bucky was still shocked people call him Sergeant Barnes or Mr. Barnes and not Winter Soldier now.
He almost cried the first time he heard Sergeant Barnes from Peter and cried when he called him uncle Bucky shocking everyone that he cried.
When he got to the kitchen he sat down and ate.
"How was school kid?" Tony asked.
"Boring as usual. Passed my algebra, biology and history test easily." Peter said.
They all knew it was to easy for him and Tony had offered him to get to MIT early but Peter said he wasn't leaving Ned and MJ.
"Good." Tony said nodding.
After dinner they were watching a movie when FRIDAY interrupted.
"Sir, Nick Fury is here and wishes to speak to you all about Peter." FRIDAY said and they looked at each other confused and worried.
"OK." Tony said.
Then the elevator opened and they saw Fury and Hill there.
Bucky got a little closer to Steve.
"Stark, Rogers, agent Romanoff, agent Barton, Wilson, Maximoff, Barnes, Parker." Fury said and they nodded.
"What can we do for you Fury?" Steve asked.
"I have a mission."
"What is it?" Natasha asked.
"This one I need Parker and only Parker."
They all looked at him in shock.
"Excuse me?" Peter said.
"There's something going on in Mexico and I know your classmates are going on a vacation." Fury said and Peter nodded. "You're staying home to spend time with them." he said looking at the others and Peter nodded again. "You need to come with me and figure this out." he said and Peter sat there quietly while the others looked at him. "When you became an Avenger you agreed to go on missions. You may only be seventeen but have been being trained by Natasha, Rogers and Barnes. You're ready for the step up. A solo mission."
They all knew he was right, he had been Spider-Man for three years and started in sweatpants, hoodie and a mask.
As worried they were they knew he was ready for this.
Peter sighed and nodded.
"Fine." he said and looked at Fury. "When and where is it?"
"Tomorrow so you can pack and Mexico." Fury said and Peter nodded.
"Is that all?" Tony asked and Fury nodded.
"Yes." he said, got up, got into the elevator but stopped and looked at Peter. "9:00 tomorrow morning." he said, they nodded and he left.
They sat there quietly thinking about what they just heard.
"This will be interesting." Peter said and the others nodded.
