West Island is under attack… Dr. Eggman, now under the new name "Death Eggman", has launched a full scale attack on the island in an attempt to destroy all Jenni holds dear. The weight of the good doctor's mistake in bringing the Death Egg has left her distraught, but also furious.
Agatha: "Jenni? Are you okay?"
Rei: "Hate to be that girl, but if we dilly dally, that mecha-eggzilla is going to burn this entire island to the ground and everyone on it. Jenni, you're the brainiac; what's the plan?"
Jenni looks to Agatha and Rei before shaking her head to recollect her thoughts and stand back up.
Jenni: "... Right… Agatha? Rei? Bring as many people from Metropolis to Hill Top Mansion in a full evacuation. Activate the Warp Ring and leave through it; wherever it goes, its better than here now. West Island is finished, so if Ivo wants it so bad then to hell with it."
Agatha: "What about you, Jenni?"
Jenni: "...I'm going to show my brother why I'm still the older sister."
Jenni says with a cold glare at no one in particular. She then picks up her scooter and heads back to her mansion.
At Metropolis, the gigantic mech continues his path of destruction, sweeping his laser across the city to destroy anyone who got in his way, all while the populace scream and run in a panic.
Death Eggman: "Yes, you pathetic vermin! Run in fear! I could have given you salvation, but you chose to stand against me! Me, the greatest scientist in the-"
Voice: "Oh, shut up already!"
Death Eggman is suddenly pushed forward by some kind of barrage of missiles, though he wasn't toppled over. He turned his head, seeing Jenni's Vespa Queen mech had arrived to fight Eggman himself.
Jenni: "Just saying, Ivo… You really piss me off…"
Death Eggman: "You're acting like this is the first time, Jennifer. After all… It was you and Charles who made me who I am today. An immortal robot and a god among them!"
Eggman narrowly avoids being slashed at by the Vespa Queen as Jenni attacks to shut him up. Eggman's arm is grabbed by the large insectoid robot before he's thrown across the island, smashing into the ocean just off the island.
Death Eggman: "Oh. So you're seriously going to fight me. Aren't you worried about the strain on your body? Or are you just that desperate to get rid of me?"
Jenni: "I'll take whatever strain I can just to end your delusions, Ivo! This ends now! And I don't give a [bleep] how cliched that sounded!"
With nothing else to say, the duo began their fight in earnest. Death Eggman had the size advantage, standing just under double the Vespa Queen's height, but Jenni had the speed advantage with the speedier robot. She fired off a Kamikaze Buzzer Barrage from the lower body's nest storage, pushing Death Eggman back as he blocked the incoming attack. But the armor covering the robotic Eggman had incredible durability; such minor attacks won't do more than stall for time… which is exactly what Jenni is doing.
Back in Metropolis, Agatha, Rei, Tiara, and the Pronghorn Sisters were trying to evacuate as many people as they could. The damage done to so many was absolutely vile; the Mobians that survived the sweeping lasers had lost some kind of limb or limbs, if not entire parts of their bodies… This level of horror left even Agatha feeling disgusted and angered. She ran to her cafe, finding it intact.
Agatha: "Ebony! Ivory!"
Ivory: "We're here, Mom!"
The girls ran out of hiding behind the counter, having gotten scared of the big robot that attacked the city. Agatha ran to hug her kids, very happy to see they were spared of the horrors she had witnessed.
Agatha: "Thank Gaia…"
Ebony: "Mom… What was that?"
Agatha: "That was… trouble… Can you help in the evacuation?"
Ebony: "Where to?"
Agatha: "Hill Top Manor…"
Ivory: "Got it!"
The trio of cats run out of the cafe, Ebony and Ivory helping in the cause by leading the citizens out of the city. Agatha floats upwards to see the two titans fighting, keeping an eye on Jenni's progress and ready to jump in if things went south…
In the fight between Jenni and Ivo, the two exchange different attacks with each other, either missing or not affecting one or the other. Jenni decides to switch things up as she pulls up a separate holo-panel from the safety of her home in order to command her Buzzers.
Jenni: "Buzzer Army! Sword and Shield mode!"
Jenni presses a few buttons, activating the new mode. The lower compartment of the Vespa Queen opens up as Buzzers fly towards the claws of the robot, forming into a shield before solidifying into one, designed like a hexagon with stripes going into the center shaped like hexagons; a sword is formed shortly after, the hilt resembling a series of honeycombs put together in the form of a hilt and handguard, while the sword was the shape of a bee's stinger. The robot swings the sword, causing Death Eggman to back off.
Death Eggman: "Oh ho! So you have some tricks left, eh? I'll admit, that's an impressive display. But it'll still prove futile!"
Death Eggman shouts as he fires off his eye lasers. The shield of the Vespa Queen manages to block the laser, but not without being pushed back some. The robot then charges in, slashing swiftly at her opponent; Eggman responds by forming an energy barrier in the form of a dome shield over his arm and blocking the swift strike. He then retaliated with a punch, landing it on the gut of the robot, sending it back some.
Death Eggman: "Hehe… You're not the only one with tricks left though. This mech I've formed uses copied energy from the Chaos Emeralds to power its mechanisms. That limitless energy that I got from those colorful gems has made this robot the most powerful creation ever built! Meanwhile, your robot will lose energy after a while."
Jenni: "Your robot is merely a reflection of its creator - a flawed thing. You turned yourself into a robot because you were scared of death. I've already made peace with it, so I don't fear death, only what legacy I leave behind after my passing."
The two then clash, Eggman's punch being pushed to the side while Jenni's sword is held back by Eggman's barrier shield.
Jenni: "Meanwhile, you will be forgotten. A bad nightmare to the rest of the world!"
Death Eggman: "You are starting to get on my nerves now. Out of everyone, you are the one person I hate the most. I've always hated you…"
The two stepped back, going back for a full frontal assault as they exchanged blow after blow.
Death Eggman: "You acted like you were better than me! You looked down at me, like I was a weak link! You and Colin both! I am the one true heir to the Robotnik name!"
Jenni: "And yet, I'm not the one trying to overcompensate for his flaws…"
Death Eggman: "No. You undercompensate for everything! You are a fool! You always have been! My genius should have the one that changed the world! No yours! Not Charles'! Mine!"
Jenni: "So all of this is just some petty grudge over years ago? You are just that petty!?"
Death Eggman: "You call it petty… I call it justified!"
Eggman slams a hard punch on Vespa Queen's shield, slamming it aside before he immediately grabbed it and tore it off, tossing the shield arm aside.
Jenni: "Gh…! You call destroying the world 'justified'!? Killing billions of innocent people!? Have you truly deluded yourself into believing that!?"
Death Eggman: "You can think whatever you want! I'm not the one dying of some stupid brain tumor!"
Death Eggman punches Jenni's robot back before firing his laser eyes at her, causing incredible damage to her. He then rushes in and grabs the Vespa Queen by the neck.
Death Eggman: "You will be the one forgotten, Jennifer! In my new world order! No one will remember you! An insignificant fly who died from something she couldn't cure! Who got ousted as a mad doctor by her fellow kin! You are NOBODY!"
Eggman laughs as he grabs the Vespa Queen by her lower body and viciously rips her apart into two halves. The robot's eyes shut down as it was effectively killed off. The victor stood with that sinister grin and glowing red eyes. The robot turns towards West Island and fires off a barrage of missiles from above, intending to destroy any remnants of a rebellious force on the island.
Jenni screams in pain from her room as she tosses off her VR headset, sweating from having seen her robot torn apart like that. Tails Doll looks at her with a bit of concern, but it is immediately grabbed and carried out of the mansion as Jenni rushes to where the Warp Ring and hopefully all of Metropolis stood. As she got there, the situation looked far more grim than she initially thought…
Jenni: "Everyone! Get down in cover quick!"
The citizens looked in confusion before the missile barrage quickly caused them to panic, ducking under whatever cover they could. Unfortunately, many of them weren't so lucky. The blasts or impact caused so many casualties, which didn't end at just Hill Top Mansion, but all of West Island. The population, which had been bustling up until that point, had been greatly reduced… Jenni looked up from her hiding spot, seeing the pure devastation of her island… It was all gone… Everything she had built and all the people that lived there… The stomps from Death Eggman soon woke her up as she turned towards the evil machine doctor…
Death Eggman: "So you truly thought you could try and run? What a foolish suggestion… I rule over this world now. And I choose who lives and who dies! If you wish to live… Submit to me. Bow to your knees and beg for mercy!"
The remaining citizens looked up at Eggman in fear. Mothers held their children close, the feeble could only tremble at the sheer might of the robot. Agatha, Rei, Tiara, the Pronghorn Sisters, the Witch Cat Twins, and even the the ex-Witchcarter Trio - who had done nothing to help in evacuation - stood defiant of Eggman. Come what may, they'd rather die free than live in fear of a dictator.
Death Eggman: "Hah. Perhaps roboticization will stem any rebellious thought from you fools. Turn the lot of you into my minions until the day I grow bored of you and trash you."
Jenni: "Ro… Roboticization…? You… You couldn't have…"
Death Eggman: "Oh? Did I forget to mention? That's right… I rebuilt Charles' old roboticizer, but instead of making it so it would help people… It instead fully converts a person into a robot, mindlessly serving me! Of course, whatever counts as a soul remains intact, meaning they are fully aware of their actions!"
Jenni could not believe just how far gone Ivo truly was. Everything she knew about her brother had been completely tossed out of the preverbal window… He was truly willing to put everyone through an endless torture until he got bored with them than even grant them a quick and easy death… Ivo wasn't just a monster… Eggman was the Devil!
Death Eggman: "Now… Let us end this little show. I have an empire to run, and I have no time for meddlesome fools like you."
Eggman states, his real smile almost being felt as he looms over the hapless citizens. Agatha charges up her magic and Rei readies ger guns as they, and everyone else, got ready to charge in at whatever they could. Just then… A sudden gust of wind blew past everyone, followed by some kind of kick of dust and dirt. A blue missile launches at Death Eggman and impacts onto his chest with such incredible force, he is lifted off the ground and knocked right onto his back. The impact with the ground was so mighty that several islands within the vicinity felt the shockwaves coming from the Eggman's robot body hitting the ground. The "missile" lands on the ground, standing as a truly defiant figure… Sonic the Hedgehog had finally arrived…
