Sonic stands tall, looking at the giant robot that he just knocked over with a serious expression. Jenni and the others of West Island stand in disbelief at what they just witnessed. Eggman though was deeply displeased as he laid on the ground, a bit stunned from shock.

Death Eggman: "...Okay. That was quite rude…"

Jenni: "S-Sonic…?"

Sonic turns to what was left of the island, keeping a serious expression but softens it at the sight of Jenni.

Sonic: "Hey, Jen. Sorry I'm late… Eggman attacked my island and used it as a diversion to keep me from his real plan…"

Jenni: "Sonic… You're hurt…"

Sonic took a moment to look at himself, confirming that he hadn't healed up since the last fight. But he still looked determined.

Sonic: "So is the big robot Eggman?"

Jenni: "...Yes. He calls himself the 'Death Eggman' now…"

Sonic: "Alright then… That's all I need to know."

The giant robot then stood back up, standing tall over the heroes as Eggman glared down, detecting Sonic with them now.

Death Eggman: "You again? Grr… You are starting to become a thorn in my side."

Sonic: "Only 'starting to'? I've been a thorn since I blew up your stupid space face. And I'll do it again…"

Sonic says before rushing at the robot, climbing up from the feet to Eggman's face. However, he was repelled off by a barrier being created, knocking the hedgehog off like an insect to a bug zapper. Agatha was quick to fly in and catch him thankfully.

Death Eggman: "You may have gotten a lucky shot on me, rodent. But that's all it was… A lucky shot and nothing more."

Agatha lands on the ground with Sonic jumping out of her grasp.

Sonic: "Thanks, Agatha, but you and everyone needs to leave the island. I can take care of this jerk myself."

Agatha: "Pardon? Who said anything about leaving. You are not fighting this monstrosity by yourself."

Sonic: "We don't have time to arg-"

Rei: "Oh shut up, hedgepig and listen to your elders for once. If you plan on fighting a monster like this, then you need a team. And I volunteer myself as well."

Sonic turns to Rei, then back at Agatha. He then looks at Jenni as she approaches him.

Jenni: "Sonic. I can activate the Warp Ring and evacuate the entire island if you and them can keep Ivo busy. All I ask is that you trust them to help."

Sonic takes a pause before seeing Tiara and the Cat Twins join in as well. He takes a deep breath before nodding.

Sonic: "Okay… If everyone's ready then."

The heroes assemble as Eggman simply smiles in devilish glee.

Death Eggman: "Oh? So you wish to do things the hard way then? Well… I'd love to see you try."

Sonic leads the charge at the giant robot as everyone followed suit. Rei starts by firing off a barrage of bullets at Eggman's head, landing direct hits to the eyes, though he just shrugs these off.

Death Eggman: "Hah! Is that really your best-"

Agatha rushes in like a fiery speeding bullet and slams herself right into Eggman's right eye, shattering it as he lets out a scream.

Rei: "Nah. I'm just the distraction."

Rei exchanges her ammo for explosive ammo and started firing more in a trail up Eggman's torso. Sonic stops just under Eggman's feet as he turns to Tiara.

Tiara: "Give me a boost, Sonic!"

Sonic: "One boost… Going up!"

Tiara jumps as Sonic handstands, pulling in his feet. Once Tiara lands on the soles of Sonic's shoes, he propells her upwards towards the groin of the robot. She curls up into a ball and makes direct contact, causing Eggman to feel that from the waist down with a comedic 'DONG!' sound ringing in his ears.

Death Eggman: "Gah! Ch-Cheap shot, you stupid peasants!"

As Eggman took a step back from the heroes, his large foot steps in something, causing him to look down at a large black pool, with a white cat sitting next to it with her hands next to the edge of it.

Ivory: "Science lesson! Did you know oil is very flammable?"

Death Eggman: "...Oil? Where did you even get oil?"

Ivory: "Oh, I just converted a puddle of rain water into oil just for this."

Ivory pointed at Ebony, who threw out a fireball, which exploded on the robot's oil covered foot, causing it to ignite on fire. Eggman starts to cry out as he tries to put the fire out, but in his attempt, he trips and lands on his back side. Agatha then flew above as she raises her hands, commanding the earth to keep the giant robot pinned down.

Death Eggman: "Ack! Unhand me, you tree hugging maggots! I command you!"

Sonic: "Sorry, but you didn't say 'Please'."

Sonic states before he and Tiara run on the belly of the robot, aiming to find some kind of weakness on this colossal giant.

As the fight raged on, Tails Doll observes the battle with Jenni, who was busy trying to get the Warp Ring to function.

Tails Doll: "The fight seems won. They have Robotnik pinned to the ground."

Jenni: "It's a temporary victory; if I know my brother, he won't let a little magic beat him."

Tails Doll: "Doctor. May I ask something?"

Jenni: "Sure, but I am a bit busy."

Tails Doll: "You asked me before about my emotions towards Robotnik… What are yours?"

Jenni pauses as she looks at Tails Doll with a curious expression. She took a moment to think before sighing.

Jenni: "...Anger… Confusion… Maybe even a bit of fear, if I'm being honest. Why?"

Tails Doll: "Sonic seemed… very angry. Vengeful even. But everyone, despite the odds, are very brave… Even you were when you fought him with your mech earlier."

Jenni: "That's the thing about idiots like us… You never truly give up. And I certainly never give in until the world is a better place… Or I die trying to make the dream a reality…"

Jenni tries to power the Warp Ring, but only sparks appeared around the center. There wasn't enough energy to feed into it for it to work it seemed. As Jenni growled in frustration, Tails Doll chimes in with a suggestion.

Tails Doll: "What about feeding the Warp Ring energy directly from a Chaos Emerald?"

Jenni: "From a…? That's it! Doll, you genius! That's exactly what I need! Those Emeralds should still be in that box in my mansion!"

Jenni stood up before running towards the destroyed remains of her mansion. Left alone, the Tails Doll takes a moment to float off the ground and race towards the battle going on.

As Agatha and Rei fire off various attacks at the giant robot, Sonic and Tiara try to find anything that they could use against him, but they come up empty.

Tiara: "This guy is suited up tight; I can't fight high nor hair of anything calling itself a weakness."

Sonic: "Same. And this armor's too thick to cut through with my Sonic Spin Attack!"

Death Eggman: "Aw. Isn't that a shame. You thought you could find some kind of exploit? Well too bad! My Death Egg was originally built to be unstoppable!"

Eggman unleashes a massive pulse of energy in the form of a barrier, pushing the heroes back. He then smash his limbs free to stand back on his feet as he mocks the heroes' feeble attempts to destroy him.

Death Eggman: "And that naturally would apply to my new body as well."

He starts to laugh as he launches a barrage of missiles from his back, shooting at random to take potshots at the heroes. Agatha, Rei, and Tiara are ultimately shot down.

Ebony: "Mom!"

Ebony and Ivory run over to check up on Agatha while Sonic stares up at Eggman, still remaining defiant. He then rushes at the robot to continue fighting him, but a shockwave from a stomp pushes Sonic back hard enough to eat the dirt hard.

Death Eggman: "You know, boy… I did find your little show on the Death Egg to be quite entertaining. Had you agreed to join my cause, you would have made an excellent addition to my army. Perhaps even greater than any other creature on this planet. But you chose to defy me instead. Truly a pity… But once I'm through with you, you will be just another forgotten stain in the annals of history…"

Eggman says as he charges up his laser eye, only needing one to vaporize Sonic on the spot, while the other is being repaired by the Death Egg's self repair mechanism. But as Sonic tried to get back up, he sees a floating plush doll of Tails approach, a familiar red gem connected by an antenna getting his attention.

Sonic: "Wh-What…? You're back up and running!? Don't I have enough problems as is!?"

Eggman pauses as he too sees Tails Doll, the doll looking up back at him as he stops just in front of Sonic.

Death Eggman: "Oh ho. Well well… If it isn't my failed Chaos Gem creation. And here I thought you were destroyed. Well, since you're here, how about you destroy this miserable wretched vermin, hm?"

Tails Doll looked at Sonic, then back at Eggman.

Tails Doll: "You thought of me… destroyed? You didn't bother to come and check?"

Death Eggman: "Hm? Why would I?"

Tails Doll: "You created me. Does that not mean anything to you?"

Death Eggman: "...Hehehe… HAHAHAHAHA! Of course not, you insignificant worm! What? You think every creation I make should be treated with… with… LOVE!? Hahahaha! What drivel…"

The giant robot then leans down, his face's smile showing nothing but contempt for failing projects like Tails Doll.

Death Eggman: "Get this through your fluffy little skull, experiment. You are nothing but a pawn to me. All of my creations are. Sage? A pawn. Omelette? A pawn. Snively? Most definitely a pawn. Not a single one of them I care about in the slightest. If they are destroyed, it is my decision whether they are rebuilt. And if not, I just shrug and move to the next best thing. You are no different. Just another piece of scrap for the pile to be reused as something stronger. And if it too fails, then I simply reuse it until I create something that never fails."

Sonic: "Hey, shut up!"

Eggman pauses, turning his attention to Sonic, who stood back up.

Sonic: "Even if something fails, that gives you no right to just trash it the way you do! Jenni had just as many robots as you do and she treats them with way more respect! I may not like the puppet, but I at least give it credit for being different from some giant, overgrown robot with an inflated ego!"

Death Eggman: "Oh ho ho ho! That's rich! You… actually feel bad for that thing! That which pretends to feel!?"

Tails Doll looked Eggman, then at Sonic… Then at the ground below it. Part of it felt… dejected. It was no different from a common Egg Robo, manufactured as just a thing to be destroyed and rebuilt as something else. It began to look back at its prior interactions… To its first fight with Sonic and how he wanted to help his friends… To Sally and how she stepped in to help Sonic… To Clove bringing her sick sister for treatment from Jenni… And finally to Agatha and her selflessly helping an otherwise mean rabbit just because she could… They helped each other… They were kind to each other… They were each their own sunshine…

Tails Doll: "...I… want to feel that sunshine too…"

Sonic: "Huh?"

Tails Doll starts to float higher as its arms limp to its sides, the shadows over its otherwise stoic eyes giving Eggman a rather hateful glare. Black energy begins to shroud around the doll as it starts to give a truly sinister smile.

Tails Doll: "I refuse to be anyone's puppet… I want to feel my own sunshine… I want to become free of my strings… I… WANT TO BE MY OWN PERSON!"

The black energy fully engulfs Tails Doll as it seems to undergo some kind of transformation. A pair of red and black striped shoes touch the ground, followed by a pair of very shapely legs; sharp black claws connected to equally pitch black hands transitioning to pale yellow fur came out of the black energy, flexing a bit as bones crack; a black leotard is formed around the more feminine figure of whatever entity Tails Doll had become, connecting the arms and legs. A pair of pale yellow tails formed, long and flowing; the tips of these tails then opened up to reveal jaws with rows of sharp, lethal looking teeth. A beautiful fox face forms, still adorned with the sharp teeth smile seen before this transformation; as the eyes open up, a pair of black sclera and red eyes stare up at Eggman. Long, messy hair forms on the new figure's head, being tied into a ponytail by some form of mystical energy. Though Sonic didn't know it - Agatha did however - this form of Tails Doll's looked a lot like the one named Tammy in appearance. Stitches formed in various places around the new figure's body, absorbing the dark energy like some kind of vacuum before taking a deep breath, letting out a deep sigh. Her voice, in contrast with her otherwise beautiful look, was quite demented, sounding psychotic as she spoke.

Tails Doll?: "Hey, Eggfat! Would you like to feel the sunshine!?"
