Sonic stood in front of a truly unusual sight… A doll who took on the form of his little buddy Tails had become a… strange combination of beauty and horror. The two tails with their separate jaws wide open began to drool some kind of black liquid as the newly transformed Doll stares at Death Eggman with a very sinister grin. Internally, even Eggman didn't see this development happening. But remained composed.

Death Eggman: "Well… You are full of surprises, experiment. I would even call you a truly valuable creation. So how about it then?"

Doll looked at her former master, her grin turning into a scowl before her tails moved in front of her, opening their jaws wide in order to let out two black beams of energy, each with enough power to push Eggman back a bit, even with his barrier up.

Doll: "You well and truly burned that bridge, Eggfat. So keep your giant mitts off the material."

Doll then turned her head to Sonic, who was still speechless over this development.

Doll: "Are you gonna say anything or just catch flies, spike mutt?"

Sonic: "'Spike mutt'? Hey, no need to call me names."

Doll: "Then make yourself useful and stop standing around. I wanna crack an egg! A very BIG EGG!"

Doll starts to laugh as her black aura flares up. She then charges at Death Eggman, striking at the heavy armored robot with blitzing attacks that had no discernable pattern to them. Sonic looks at this before turning to Agatha, who descended with crossed arms.

Sonic: "Hey, cat lady. What are your thoughts on this?"

Agatha: "...If you're asking for my opinions then… We shouldn't waste the opportunity provided to us."

Sonic just gives an unsure before sighing. He then curled up to charge up a Light Speed Attack, while Agatha joins in Doll in her aerial strike, firing off a barrage of icicles at the giant robot and knocking it slowly back. Rei ran up the side of the robot, avoiding Doll's various strikes as she listened for where the haunted doll was going to strike next. Once she at Eggman's head, she fired off a series of blinding shots.

Death Eggman: "Gah! My eyes! I can't see!"

Rei: "That's the idea."

Doll: "How about a lift!?"

Doll extends her tails out to grab the giant robot and lift him off the ground, holding him over her head and above the island.

Death Eggman: "H-Hey! Let me down this instant, you stupid pile of fluff!"

Doll: "Well… Since you asked~"

Doll then slams Eggman onto the ground hard, leaving him implanted into the ground as Sonic finishes charging.

Sonic: "Ready!?"

Locking onto his target, Sonic immediately dashes at the head of the robot, aiming to split it wide open with all the power he had. The armor of the robot certainly fought back against Sonic's effort, but it only made him push harder…

Sonic: "This… is for my friends! My family! My home! For MOBIUS!"

Sonic shouts as his energy explodes, allowing him to push the pinned robot back before he dashes back to get a running start and immediately dashes at the robot just as it lifts its head. With a solid running punch, the giant robot is sent right into the air, flying back incredibly far before landing right in the ocean. The hedgehog starts to breathe heavily as he felt drained.

Rei: "Nice one, Sonic! That's what I call giving it 110%!"

Sonic: "110? More like 150… Heh…"

Doll descends down and gives a shrug.

Doll: "Eh. Not bad, spike mutt. Could've done better though."

Sonic: "Oh shut up… You're lucky I'm in no mood to knock the stuffing out of you."

Doll: "Try it… I dare you!"

Doll says with a very angry glare, her sharp teeth smile showing her masochistic side. Agatha though wasn't too sure it was over. In fact, despite the effort they put into this fight, her nerves were still telling her it wasn't over…

Meanwhile, as the remaining people of West Island were panicking in confusion over the events transpiring, Jenni ran back to her destroyed mansion to find a glass box containing the Chaos Emeralds inside. Clove approached her with an update on the fight with Eggman.

Clove: "Doctor! I think that giant robot is done with! Sonic managed to knock it right off the island!"

Jenni: "Yeah, as much as I want to celebrate, I'm not taking any risks…"

Clove: "You mean…"

Jenni: "We are abandoning the island. There is nothing left to it… This latest attack has convinced me that staying on this island might cause further harm than its worth…"

Jenni says, hooking up the box of Emeralds to a set of connector cords to the machine.

Clove: "I see… A tactical retreat then…"

Jenni: "Exactly. Survive today to fight again tomorrow…"

The machine acting as the control panel for the Warp Ring analyzes the energy of the Chaos Emeralds. Once it was done, the Warp Ring begins to float off its pedestal, beginning to glow as it opened a portal. Where it went was unknown.

Jenni: "It's open! Finally! Clove! Get Cassia, Ebony, Ivory, and Tiara to start filtering in as many people as they can. Leave no one behind."

Clove: "Yes, Doctor!"

Clove leaves immediately, getting the remaining West Island residents assembled as they were instructed to go through and not cause trouble. Cassia and Clove acted as the police force in this panic as they glared at the former Witchcarter Trio, who looked ready to cause trouble.

Back with Sonic and the heroes, as it seemed like things were starting to calm down. A sudden quake got their attention… Following that were several missiles aimed directly at the area around the Warp Ring. As the last person made it through the portal, the missiles struck, sending Jenni, the Pronghorn Sisters, the Cat Twins, and Tiara hurdling into different directions, all falling unconscious; the case containing the Chaos Emeralds flies in the air and lands on the ground, spilling its contents… Sonic looked at this with shocked, wide eyes before turning to see the Death Eggman robot jump right back onto the arena. Physically his face was unchanged, but internally… he was mettled greatly.

Sonic: "N-No way… I used everything I had… And that still wasn't enough…?"

Doll: "Well good! Means I get another chance to-"

Death Eggman: "Enough! ENOUGH! ENOUGH!"

Eggman fires off an eye laser that engulfs Doll, causing her intense damage and burning her body before she's sent flying back with a punch. Rei fires off a barrage of bullets, but a shockwave from a stomp sends her off her feet; Eggman follows up by stomping his foot right on Rei's legs, crushing them, causing her to scream out loudly. Agatha tries to save her, but she is caught by Eggman's hand and held tightly in his grip. He then tosses her up and slams his fist into her as he punches the ground, burying her into the dirt.

Death Eggman: "I have entertained this farce for far too long! I am your emperor! Your god! And I will be treated as such!"

Sonic: "You're no god to me, Egghead!"

Sonic rushes at Eggman, trying to knock him back with a Spin Attack, but he bounces off, his move having no effect.

Death Eggman: "Hah! Fool! Your last attack may have been far more than I calculated… But you've run out of steam! You have no hope in defeating me!"

Eggman fires off a sweeping eye beam at Sonic, but the hedgehog narrowly dodges. He is instead hit by a punch from the side, knocking him across the mud; Eggman attempts to crush him under his foot, but Sonic manages to get out of the way.

Death Eggman: "Your destroying my Death Egg was nothing short of a fluke!"

Sonic tries to charge up another Light Speed Attack, but a series of missile explosions threw him off the ground, bouncing him in explosive mud as his injuries finally caught up to him. He grits his teeth, trying hard to get up.

Death Eggman: "Face it, boy… You have reached your limit!"

Eggman leans down to look at Sonic's miserable face. In his eyes were the reflection of a man gloating, celebrating his victory.

Death Eggman: "And I wouldn't worry about those fools that escaped. I will find them and they will make excellent slaves for my new world order! And once Mobius is bowing to me, the universe will follow suit!"

Sonic struggles to his feet, trying to look defiant as he sees Eggman stand back up and raise a foot to crush the hedgehog.

Death Eggman: "As for you… You will be nothing… Less than nothing… Goodbye… Sonic the Hedgehog!"

Sonic clenches his fist, anger welling up inside him. He wanted to beat Eggman after everything he had done. After everything he went through to get this far, it was all ultimately a waste. Tails… Amy… Julie… Knuckles… Jenni… Rei… Agatha… and Sally… Everyone relied on him… And he failed them. His emotions over the fate of his home… Those who had been turned into robots… What happened to Tails and Amy and the worst case scenario for them both… The fact his home was used as nothing more than a stepping stone for a mad man's plot for world domination… It all began to bubble to the surface…

Sonic: "I need… power… I just need… to tap into that power… Just like before… on the Death Egg… I need it desperately…"

The Chaos Emeralds, which Sonic failed to notice were near his feet, began to react to his emotions… To his feelings… Each one glowed a bright light. A light soon blotted out by the foot of the robotic titan as it slammed down with a mighty force.

Death Eggman: "...Hmph. Good riddance."

But then… His foot began to vibrate. His sensors were picking up an abnormal amount of energy. And the output for it was increasing to incredible heights.

Death Eggman: "Huh? What's going on? Where is this energy reading coming from? It's… below my foot!?"

His foot began to rise out of the mud, something underneath pushing it back. A yellow glow became visible from under the foot. Eggman is then tossed off, causing him to stumble back before he steadies himself.

Death Eggman: "What…!? What's happened!? That blue hedgehog! He's…!"

Sonic stood there, a yellow aura engulfing his body as his fur had turned from a vibrate blue to a glowing golden yellow color, the spikes on his head curving upwards as it flowed with great power. His eyes began to open, revealing a deep shade of red in place of the green eyes he usually has.

Death Eggman: "This… This energy reading! It's… It's just like from the Death Egg! That slight spike in energy! This shouldn't be possible! He… He's…!"

Sonic: "...Super Sonic."
