I got up this morning, showered, got dressed, and went to school. I went to Miss Appleby's class and sat behind Jason. Bulk and Skull came in and naturally, acted like fools. We then watched Trini's video project about pollution. All of us were shocked by how much pollution there was but we would try to do something to try to help.
"Very nice job, Trini. Pollution is a serious concern to our society." Miss Appleby said.
"I couldn't agree more. I'm deeply concerned about the ecological ramifications of ozone depletion, acid rain, deforestization, and the loss of our topsoils." Billy said.
"Yeah, you're right. So what can we do to help beautify our city?" Kimberly asked.
"I want to start a clean-up club. One day a week we can do some recycling. We can even count endangered animals." Trini replied.
"Yeah." Billy said.
"That sounds awesome. I'm in." I said.
"Count me in." Jason said.
"Sounds cool." Zack said.
"Totally." Kimberly said.
After school, we headed to the Youth Center to help Ernie with recycling. Ernie thanked us and we headed to the park to pick up trash. We started having fun while cleaning up and got done pretty quickly. Trini then mentioned about another part of the park before going to the recycling center. We headed over and was cleaning, when putties decided to show up.
I helped the group fight off the putties, but then this weird-looking creature started heading our way. The group morphed before battling the creature, and I headed to the Command Center. The others joined not too far behind me.
"This monster may prove difficult for you to defeat rangers. Billy, help Alpha with the situation analysis while I brief the others." Zordon said.
"Yes, sir." Billy said.
"Data printout coming up." Alpha said.
"So what's up with this new monster, Zordon?" Zack asked.
"It's all part of Rita's latest plan to destroy the earth. Observe the Viewing Globe. Rita has created this monster called Pollutercorn to cover the earth with pollution." Zordon replied.
"We can't let that happen." Trini said.
"There's got to be a way to stop that thing." Jason said.
"Yeah, but how?" Kimberly asked.
"Ai yi yi! Whoa!" Alpha yelled.
"Alpha!" all of us shouted.
"Are you alright?" Trini asked.
"You okay?" Kimberly added.
We helped Alpha up and waited on the findings.
"My analysis shows that Pollutercorn derives its powers from its horn." Billy said.
"Good work, Billy, I will bring it up on the Viewing Globe. The Pollutercorn is attacking the Angel Grove Recycling plant." Zordon said.
"I can pollute your whole pathetic little planet faster than you can clean it up." Pollutercorn cackled.
"We can't let him wreck that factory." Trini said.
The group then morphed and went to battle. Of course, Goldar and Scorpina showed up because Rita is scared of the rangers, even though she refuses to admit it. The rangers defeated the huge Pollutercorn, and I could only imagine what Rita was saying since her monsters get beaten every single time.
This special bulletin just in. We've gotten word that once again the amazing power rangers have saved our town and the world from one of Rita Repulsa's lethal monsters. Eye witness report that after a lengthy battle, the power rangers and their zords were able to defeat the beasts, just before it attacked downtown Angel Grove. No people were reported injured. How long will we be safe from Rita Repulsa and her monsters? No one knows for sure, but thank you, rangers.
It was nice hearing people thank the rangers for protecting them. I'm also glad that no one knows who they are because that would be very bad for us all. Bulk and Skull then came in and trashed everything. These guys need to realize that they can't keep messing things up because they think they're cool.
The next day at school, Miss Appleby said, "Today we will be seeing Bulk and Skull's video, won't we?"
"Uh, well." Bulk said because he didn't have the video on him.
"Just finished editing it." Skull said as he came in with the tape.
"This will be very interesting." Miss Appleby said.
She put the tape in the VCR and all of us watched the video. The video is exactly how all of us thought it would be and had all of us laughing. These two boneheads will never learn, but at least they make us laugh.
