A Second Visit
Danny was currently at the office of his remaining best friend and the youngest mayor in Amity Park, Tucker Foley. City Hall was completely surrounded by Tucker's security team, who stood guard to keep out paparazzi and fan girls.
Right now, the African boy was typing in commands on the computer as the ghost boy watched.
"Wait! Wait! Wait!" Deadpool interrupts.
"What is it now?" guardian1989 asks in annoyance.
"I thought our pal, DP, is aware of mutants in this crossover?" Deadpool asks.
"In my other crossover, he is." guardian1989 said. "But in this one, he's not."
"Oh, right." Deadpool said before he started rubbing his butt. "You shot me the first time, which made me miss all of the first chapter."
"Because you invaded my realm and didn't even ask permission to drop in now and again." the author droned in annoyance.
"Hey, at least PFN finds me likable in his world." Deadpool states.
Suddenly, the author named pokémon fan 1991 enters the realm as he said.
"It's true. In my world, Deadpool is somewhat tolerable since he did help me banish Dan into the Unworld, at least in my universe."
"I see." guardian1989 said casually. "Well, if you want to stick around, there's a..."
"Hold up!" Deadpool interrupts. "How come you don't give PFN the boot like you do to me?! He obviously came here uninvited!"
"Because obviously he is not insufferable, like you are here." guardian1989 said in annoyance.
"Oh, so you allow authors to enter here freely, and yet, I'm banned from your place?!" Deadpool summarized.
The merc grabs a familiar rifle as he said.
"Not if I have something to say about it."
Deadpool aims the tranq rifle and squeezed the trigger, but nothing happened.
"Hey! There's no darts in here."
"Do you want to shoot yourself like what happened last time?" guardian1989 asks.
Deadpool puts down the tranq rifle as he said.
"Good point."
"So, just sit down and keep cool."
"Fine. Fine."
"One more thing." guardian1989 warns. "Interrupt this chapter at any time, I'm giving you the boot." he grabs his rifle and loads it with a tranquilizer dart. "Just so you'll see that I'm not bluffing."
"Okay. Chill." Deadpool said as he held up his hands.
After Deadpool takes a seat, the author clears his throat before saying.
"My apologies for the interruptions, readers. Anyway, let's get back to the chapter."
It only took several minutes before the information that the boys were searching for appeared on-screen.
"Okay. Here's what it says." Tucker began. "Mutants are people who are born with a genetic material in their DNA; the x-gene as it is called. When it develops, it grants them powers."
Danny thought to himself
"So that's how Wanda blew up Skulker's cyber armor."
"What else does it say?" the ghost boy asks.
Tucker scrolls the screen before he sees more information on the computer and says,
"It says here that a city in New York called Bayville is the hotspot for mutants. There are two places there; one is the Xavier Institute for Gifted Children, founded by someone named Charles Xavier. The second is called the Brotherhood of Bayville Boarding House, but it doesn't say who found it."
"Go on." Danny beckons
"It also says here that governments around the world are more fearful of mutants than ghosts, believing that mutants are the next step in the human evolutionary line." Tucker said with worry. "As a result, there have been several laws and bills coming and going attempting to register mutants. If that were to happen, mutants would be hunted down, as if the world would enter a Neo Jim Crow era."
Danny silently had a worried look as he thought of one individual in particular while whispering.
"Like Wanda."
Tucker thought he heard his remaining best friend speak as he asked.
"What?"
"Nothing." Danny quickly said.
"If I were you, if you visit Bayville, I'd keep a low profile." Tucker warns. "You may have saved the world, but the people in that city won't see that. They'll just classify you as a mutant since you're not all human."
"Point taken, dude." Danny said. "Thankfully, all I have to worry about here are paparazzi, fan girls, and mostly, Paulina."
"Yeah, but over there, you won't be so lucky." Tucker said in response.
Danny transforms as he asks.
"You want to head to the Nasty Burger to grab a bite? Just as long as your security team guards the joint."
"I'll pass, but thanks for the offer." Tucker said.
"As Danny was about to leave, Tucker comments.
"I miss Sam."
Danny sighed in depression before he said.
"I miss her too."
"See ya around, dude." Tucker said.
Danny nods before he turns intangible and flies out of the office. Once he was gone, Tucker used a headpiece to communicate with his security team.
"Stand down."
The security team did as the mayor had ordered. They stood down and returned to their usual posts.
At Bayville, more specifically, the Xavier Institute for Gifted Children, Professor Charles Xavier and Logan were in the office as the telepath saw the newspaper that had a photo of Danny Phantom on the front page.
"Does Nick Fury have any info on this individual?" Xavier asks.
"Believe or not, Chuck, he does." Logan said in response. "He appeared in a city called Amity Park, which is here in the States, about a year ago."
The burly Canadian hands a file folder to Xavier as the bald telepath looks at photos inside it.
"Basically, it's a hotspot for ghosts." Logan explains. "I thought it was crazy at first, but Fury has the proof to back it up, as you can see."
"But is he a mutant?" Xavier asks in curiosity.
"Apparently, he's half-ghost." Logan replies. "Fury was going to capture and interrogate the kid, but after he saved the world from some sort of Earth killer asteroid, SHIELD decided to just leave him be."
Professor Xavier mulled it over as he laced his fingers together.
"Yes. I recall that this entire planet entered a void of sorts, but what prompted him to visit Bayville?"
Logan scoffed before he said
"Most likely to get some peace and quiet. Now that he's famous in Amity Park and practically the world, no doubt that fan girls and paparazzi are hounding him." Logan glanced at a window. "But the kid didn't get the welcome wagon when he arrived here."
"Yes. I have no doubts that this Danny Phantom has received the same bigotry ever since mutants have been exposed." Professor Xavier comments.
"Well, I'd recommend keeping tabs on him, Chuck." Logan advised. "Since the half-pint told me that she saw him spending time with Wanda, no doubt trouble will follow."
Professor Xavier nodded in agreement.
"Time out!"
"What is it now, Deadpool?" guardian1989 asks.
"Why does our ghostly friend receive all the hate here in this story?"
"Basically, the obvious hypocrisy in the Marvel comics how the people are racist towards those born with powers and the ones who got them from a lab accident, they worship them as gods." guardian1989 explained in annoyance.
"Oh, right." Deadpool said with a chuckle.
The author grabbed his rifle and took aim.
"Oh, come on! Again?" Deadpool whines.
"I did warn you, didn't I?" the author asks.
"Yo, PFN! You ain't gonna stop him?!"
"He did warn you." was all that pokémon fan 1991 said.
In an instant, guardian1989 squeezed the trigger, firing the dart. It pierced the marc on the shoulder, injecting its payload before Deadpool pulls it out and gets drowsy.
"Are... you...?"
The merc falls off his chair out-cold before guardian1989 pulls a lever to drop the unconscious Deadpool into the moat before the doors close.
"Wow. He's somewhat cool with me." pokemon fan 1991 comments.
"Apparently, he's insufferable here." guardian1989 puts aside his tranq rifle. "Someone needs to shut him up any way."
"True."
The author clears his throat before saying to the audience.
"Sorry about the merc's interruption. Let's get back on track with the chapter."
In a house in Oregon, Sam was in her room alone. The goth was clearly in no mood to be out today. Her parents were gone for a time-being. Obviously, they were attempting to find new country clubs to register; similar to how it was back in Amity Park, and Sam knew it was only a matter of time before they tried to drag her to them. Just so she could "socialize" with other upper class, but Sam won't have it.
As she looked at a picture that she took with Danny, her thoughts were interrupted when she heard a knock on the door.
"Come in."
Then, the door opens to reveal her grandmother, Ida, as she enters the room.
"Hey grandma." Sam greets, rather depressed.
"Bubeleh? Is something the matter?" Ida asks with worry.
Sam was silent at first, but Ida could be told volumes, just by looking at her granddaughter's facial expression. Especially since she noticed Sam taking a glance at a certain photo before she asked.
"You miss him, don't you?"
"It's that obvious, eh?" Sam said with a question of her own. "To think that after two weeks, my parents are back to their old ways like they were in Amity Park." she waves her arms hysterically. "Trying to drag me into stupid country clubs, get me to socialize with other spoiled brats, to name a few." Sam sighs in frustration. "And here I am, happy that my parents finally have day jobs ever since my dad started up a business, but sad that it's here in Oregon."
As Sam took a seat on the edge of her bed, Ida approached her as she heard her granddaughter say.
"Part of me actually wishes I was back in Amity Park." Sam rests her head on her hands. "And back then, my folks would've tried to kiss up to Danny, just for their social standing to increase."
Ida gently hugged Sam as she said.
"I don't blame you, bubeleh. Sometimes, sacrifices have to be made for something beneficial. Whether the path is here or takes elsewhere, we all have to do what we have to."
Sam smiled at her grandmother's comfort as she said.
"Yeah, you're right." Sam glanced away in worry. "I just hope that Danny is doing okay." she frowns. "No doubt the shallow tramp is practically throwing herself to him on a daily basis."
Ida chuckled before she said.
"And from what I've heard, when you and Danny were together, you popped her one good with a straight right."
Sam smiled at that; she would always treasure any memory of Paulina getting slugged either by her own hand or someone else.
"I would do it again." Sam said with humor before she hugged her grandmother. "Thanks. I needed that."
Of all her family members, Ida was the only one who would console Sam through hard times. In fact, her grandmother was the only one who accepted Sam for...practically everything; her tastes in music, fashion, and being a unique individual, to name a few. Ida was proud of the fact that her granddaughter had common sense not to fall for fake individuals just as her son and daughter-in-law.
A real chip off the old block.
In Bayville, one could say that Wanda being angry was an understatement, given the angst she already has. Now wasn't the case.
She was beyond livid.
Basically, thanks to the help of a member of a mutant group known as the Morlocks, mainly a particular mutant individual named Caliban, she was able to track down her twin brother Pietro Maximoff or Quicksilver as his codename is, the goth girl was able to have him trapped, arrested, and taken by the military, in order to lure out their father, Magneto for the sake of one reason...
Revenge.
However, it was only thanks to two of the Xavier girls, Kitty Pryde and Rogue, along with the Brotherhood boys, her plan failed and once again, her father has escaped her sights, thanks to her brother going into hiding.
Wanda declared that it was far from over with her father.
It took a while, but she got back to the city after her failed plan. It was still morning, but one hour away from high noon as she walked past a few alleys. In one of the alleys that she was about to pass by, the goth girl saw him again; the white-skinned mutant who could locate mutants with his mind.
Caliban.
Wanda approached him as the mutant noticed.
"I take it that you seek someone else, now?" Caliban asked gravely.
"Yes." was all Wanda said.
"Who is it that you are searching for?"
"Danny Fenton." Wanda replied.
Caliban's eyes widened slightly before he said.
"The world hero from Amity Park? Why the sudden interest in him?"
"Never mind that. Just tell me if you can sense him or not." Wanda said.
Caliban lowered his head slightly as he said.
"I'm afraid I can not."
"Why?" Wanda asks.
"He is not one of us." Caliban replies. "He does not have what we have that grants us our powers. I am sorry."
"Wait."
Caliban stopped before he turned around to face Wanda once more.
"You must know what he looks like, correct?" she asks.
"Yes. Despite that his image, that is in every capitol of the world, is in the likeness of his ghost form, it isn't difficult for me to spot him while he assumes human form." Caliban replies.
It was all that Wanda needed as she said.
"Good. If you see him in Bayville, help him find me."
Caliban nodded in response.
Back in Amity Park, Danny transforms back to human form before entering the Nasty Burger. Upon his entrance, he sees Valerie at the counter as she greets.
"Hey Danny."
"Hey." Danny greets back.
Valerie noticed Danny's expression as she asked.
"Is something eating you?"
"Well, being famous and all, I miss how things were back then."
"I know." Valerie said compassionately. "I also know that you miss Sam too."
"It's that obvious, eh?" Danny asks with a raised eyebrow.
Valerie nodded before Danny gently said.
"Well, since I'm getting hungry, I guess I'll place an order."
"Sure." Valerie said before she got ready. "What's it going to be?"
Right when Danny was about to place an order, he and Valerie heard a voice belonging to a certain Latina calling in a sing-song manner.
"Oh, ghost boy."
Knowing who it was, Danny instantly said.
"Second thought, I just lost my appetite."
It was none other than Paulina. Apparently, she caught a glimpse of Danny and followed him from a safe distance until finally landing at the Nasty Burger. The Latina walked up to him while swaying her hips in a manner that most supermodels would. While she was happy to see her ghost boy, Danny was not.
"What a coincidence seeing you here." Paulina said in a sultry manner.
"And now I'm leaving." Danny quickly said.
However, as he walked past the Latina, Paulina quickly grabbed his hand as she said.
"Wait. Don't you want to grab a bite with me? We are here, after all, and without Manson."
Danny used his intangibility to free himself from her grasp, as he said.
"Not even if you're the last person on Earth!"
As Danny transformed, he left the restaurant with Paulina pursuing him. Immediately, he takes to the skies and flies away at top speed.
"Ghost boy, wait!"
Paulina's call was left unanswered as her stubborn beloved kept flying away until he was out of sight. She sighed as she thought.
"Why can't he just stop resisting and just be with me?"
Suddenly, her thoughts were interrupted by Valerie, who recently clocked out from her shift for the day, as the girl said.
"You got serious problems, you know that?"
"What did you just say?" Paulina snapped as she turned around to face the girl.
"You heard me!" Valerie replied back. "Get it through your thick head that Danny doesn't like you, and he never will!"
"What do you know about my precious ghost boy?" Paulina demanded.
"I know for a fact that he doesn't like crazy stalkers like you." Valerie replies as she smirked, seeing Paulina's jaw drop.
The Latina was fuming as she said.
"I'm not crazy! Danny is meant to be mine, no one else!"
As Paulina walked away, Valerie shook her head in disappointment and annoyance as she muttered.
"Creepy, psychotic bitch."
Once Paulina left the restaurant, she looked up at the sky in the direction that Danny took to fly away. She smiled admirably as the Latina fantisized, being held in Danny's arms, bridal style while observing his white hair blowing in the breeze. Paulina also fantasized, running her fingers through it as she gazed into his glowing neon green eyes lovingly, and he would gaze at her in the same manner. Ever since he first saved her life from a ghost attack, she always wondered who her ghost boy really was until the Disasteroid incident when she found out that Danny Fenton and Danny Phantom are one and the same. It was like her dream was so much closer; her dream of dating beyond school, getting married, and having a family with him. However, her smile instantly changed into a frown, as Paulina thought.
"I hope no other bitch gets their claws on my ghost boy."
Paulina still remembered what happened after Danny's secret was revealed to the world. The goth freak, Sam stole him from her. Poisoning his mind and making Danny forget the love he once had for her. When Paulina tried to reach out to him, Manson had the audacity to damage her beautiful face and pick fights with her every time. While she was glad that the goth bitch got detention, Paulina couldn't understand why Mr. Lancer unjustly gave her detention, too. All she was doing was reclaiming what was hers.
Paulina knew that her ghost boy's relationship with Manson wasn't going to last.
And she was right.
However, she couldn't understand why she still didn't have Danny in her arms yet. Sure, he needed time to get over Manson when she left, but how long did he need to recover? She had no doubts that the goth freak had already gotten over him in an instant. Despite her rival being gone, Paulina knew she had other bitches to worry about; the other fan girls that desperately want him, even at school.
Paulina made it very clear to the female members of the A-Listers that Danny was hers and if she got wind of them hitting on him, she will give them the boot and take away their populatity in an instant.
Danny solely belonged to her. He was her soul mate, and the last thing she needed was another rival getting the attention of her ghost boy, sink their claws into him, and making him forget all about her. Paulina had no intention of allowing another bitch to take away her man.
Not without a fight.
Meanwhile, with Danny, he breathed a sigh of relief since Paulina had no ghost powers of any kind. So he was able to quickly get away from her.
"Damn, she never quits." he muttered in annoyance.
Ever since his break-up with Sam, it was always the same. Paulina sent him gifts that were wrapped in pink wrapping paper among the other ones from other fan girls. While he sent the other gifts back to those who sent, Danny destroyed all the gifts that the Latina sent him. Unfortunately, it wasn't enough to convince the Latina that he wasn't interested in her, even burning her love letters that he would find in his locker didn't do much.
As Danny was wandering in one direction, a thought instantly came up as he said.
"Maybe I can visit Wanda again. Hopefully, I can find her easily."
With that in mind, Danny altered course and flies straight towards Bayville after informing his folks on his whereabouts.
As before, it only took a few minutes to reach Bayville. However, remembering what happened upon his visit last time and Tucker's information, Danny wisely turned invisible before he reached the outskirts of the city. Once there, everyone was going about their business. Thankfully, no one could see Danny due to him using his invisibility.
After he sees an alley that is completely dark and empty, Danny descends as he turns visible. Once he took cover, the ghost boy teverts back to his human form. However, Danny didn't realize that someone was there in the same alley. Someone who instantly recognized him.
As Danny was about to leave, he heard a gravely voice speaking, startling him in an instant.
"So, you've come once again."
Danny turns around and asks.
"Who's there?"
He hears the gravely voice again.
"Fear not. For I am not your enemy."
Out of the shadows, Danny sees a bald, skinny man who had pale white skin, black eyes, a sad downcast demeanor, and wore a ragged brown shirt and pants. However, the ghost boy wasn't afraid. In fact, he was more surprised.
"Bizarre, how you're not human anymore, yet you're not one of us." The man gravely comments.
Danny came to the conclusion that this man before him must be another mutant since Wanda was the first mutant he had ever met.
"If you don't mind me asking, who are you?" Danny asks.
"I am Caliban." Caliban replies. "I know that you are the world hero and why you are here."
Danny rose an eyebrow as he asked.
"You do?"
"Yes." Caliban said. "I am aware that you seek Wanda Maximoff." he sees Danny's eyes slightly widen. "In fact, she anticipated that you would visit her. She specifically requested me to help you find her."
Hearing that it was Wanda who told Caliban to help him locate her, Danny saw that he had nothing to lose. However, he asked.
"How do you know where Wanda is?"
"I can locate mutants with my mind." Caliban gravely replied. "However, there are few who are... too far advanced. But since you seek Wanda, I can help you."
"Okay. So, where do I find her?" Danny asks.
"Listen to me very carefully." Caliban begins.
Several minutes later, Danny was walking through the streets in specific directions that Caliban instructed. The mutant was able to sense Wanda inside a diner of sorts that was far away from the alley.
"Okay. After I walk five blocks, I take a turn to the left." Danny comments to himself.
Once Danny hit the fifth block, he turned left to walk further down the streets. After approximately three hundred fifty feet, Danny sees the diner that he is supposed to find. The ghost boy walked by the windows to get to the entrance doors while looking inside.
In an instant, he saw who he wanted to see.
Wanda was about to leave before she saw Danny through the door windows of the entrance as she had a slight smile upon seeing him when he opened the doors.
"Hey." Wanda casually greets.
"Hey." Danny greets back. "I..." he scratched the back of his head. "I wanted to see you again."
"I'm glad you did." Wanda comments. "I guess you got my message from Caliban."
"Yeah." Danny said in response.
"What brings you here this time?" Wanda asked curiously before a thought crossed her mind when she saw Danny have a certain look. "Let me guess, that girl pestering you?"
"Oh yeah." Danny said with annoyance. "Stalked me as always and made me lose my appetite back at home."
The ghost boy looked up at the diner before he said.
"Since I'm here and my appetite is back, now that the pest is gone temporarily, I could go for a bite here." he looks down to look at Wanda in the eyes. "And I'll pay since you're here too."
Wanda smiled slightly once more as she said.
"I'd like that."
The duo left the diner, having their hinger satiated, and Danny paid for the bill.
"So, how have things been with you?" Danny asks casually.
Wanda slightly frowns before she says in response.
"Dealing with family issues, giving Toad a usual dose of hex bolts to keep him away. Nothing new for me, really."
Danny had an amused look before he asked.
"At it again, huh?"
"Yes." Wanda replies. "The little creep acts like I'm his girlfriend, demanding why I spent time with you, instead of him."
"Whoa. And I thought Paulina was obsessive of me." Danny comments.
It was Wanda's turn to raise an eyebrow as she asked.
"You mean the one who pesters you?"
"The very same." Danny said.
Rolling her eyes, Wanda said.
"Maybe I should visit your town and give the bitch a major ass kicking."
Danny chuckled at Wanda's offer with amusement as he said.
"You know, I think you and Sam will get along just fine."
"Who's Sam?" Wanda asks in curiosity.
"She's a goth and my best friend. Well, my ex-girlfriend." Danny sees Wanda raise an eyebrow as he becomes a little down. "She moved to Oregon not long ago, and..."
Wanda realized it was a touchy subject as she interrupted him by saying.
"I'm sorry. I didn't know."
"It's no big deal." Danny said. "Besides, we agreed to see other people before she left." He glances at Wanda. "Also, I like being around you."
Wanda blushed as she glanced slightly away before she said with a smile.
"Well... the feeling's mutual with you. You've shown me that you are more mature than Toad, again."
"I'll take that as a compliment." Danny said.
Suddenly, Danny's ghost sense went off.
"Uh oh!"
Wanda knew what it meant when she saw that happen the first time during their first meeting as she asked with worry.
"Another ghost?"
"Yeah. But who, I don't know." Danny said as he looked around.
Suddenly, both teens hear an obnoxious voice; one that was familiar to Danny but new to Wanda.
"BEWARE!"
Danny sighed in annoyance as he bemoaned.
"Oh man, not him again."
Suddenly, the Box Ghost appears as he bellowed
"I am the Box Ghost! Master of the corrugated cardboard and bubble wrap with a fifty dollar bounty on my head!"
Wanda just stared at this ghost that was dressed like a warehouse worker, in disbelief of his lame boasting as she turned to Danny.
"He's kidding, right?"
As Danny transformed, he said to her in response.
"You'd be surprised which ghosts are annoying and which ones are a real threat."
The Box Ghost sees Danny fly up to him before the half-ghoat hero demands.
"You can never stop be annoying, can you?!"
"Beware, hero of the world! For I, the Box Ghost, will finally send you to your doom with all things cardboard and square!"
The Box Ghost levitates some cardboard and bubble wrap rolls, ready to launch them at Danny, who just merely narrowed his eyes in annoyance. Suddenly, the various projectiles were struck by blue energy; blue energy that Danny had seen before.
From below, Wanda used her powers and magic to turn the cardboard and bubble wrap into a sort of monstrous creature as it formed from the materials. The Box Ghost's eyes widened in an uh oh manner as the artificial creature growled menacingly.
"The Box Ghost will... have to take a rain check for now!"
Suddenly, the Box Ghost flies away while screaming in terror as the artificial monster gives chase while roaring. Danny couldn't help but chuckle at the sight before he descended towards Wanda.
"Okay. I'll admit that what you did was a masterpiece." he comments.
"Hey. Someone has to shut him up." Wanda said.
"True."
Suddenly, they hear a different voice full of malice shouting
"Back again, mutie?!"
Danny and Wanda turn to see a crowd of angey people as they shout the same slurs that the ghost boy heard before.
"Damn. Talk about no appreciation for protecting their asses." Danny thought bitterly.
Despite that Danny was unaffected by their hatred, Wanda was the one who had enough. With a small wave of her hand, the glass of the nearby lamp posts shattered before they came to life as the crowd became terrified.
"Leave. Us. Alone. Now!" Wanda barked.
Not needed to be told twice, the crowd fled the scene as the lamp posts continued to terroze them before they ceased when the people were out of sight and returned to the inanimate objests that they were.
"Wow. You were right to comment about my town being a paradise." Danny said as he changed back.
"Really, I couldn't tell." Wanda said with sarcasm.
Eventually, the teen duo just walked off in a different direction, wanting nothing more than to forget about the incident.
Once more, Danny and Wanda were at the same ice cream shop that they visited before. In a sense, it was déjà vu for both of them as they had the same ice cream preferences. This time, they were wisely indoors in case Toad was lurking about. Currently, the teens were just talking as they enjoyed their frozen dairy treats.
"So, that Box Ghost we just saw," Wanda begins. "He always bothered you on a daily basis?"
"Oh yeah." Danny said in annoyance. "He always tries to defeat me but hasn't even done so." he used air quotes of the defeat part.
Wanda scoffed before she said in response.
"If you ask me, he's as useless as Toad."
"Pretty much, useless." Danny said in agreement.
"How many of these ghosts are there?" Wanda asks in curiosity.
"Thousands, maybe more." Danny casually replied.
"Sheesh. I'm just surprised that people here only directed their bigotry on us." Wanda said bitterly.
"So I've noticed." Danny comments.
Danny glanced at Wanda in a different manner as the goth girl noticed before she asked.
"What?"
"Well, lately, I've noticed that you're easy to talk to." Danny comments. "And you speak your mind easily."
Wanda blushed. She couldn't tell if Danny had just flirted with her or simply gave her a compliment.
"Uh..." Wanda glanced away shyly. "Thank you."
This was new to Wanda. Not once has she met a boy who was similar to Danny in any way. She knew that Todd always pestered her, calling her pet names, following her as if he were her shadow. With Danny, he was actually able to hold a decent conversation, and in a way, she had a lot in common with him. Not to mention, Danny has more maturity than Todd, and even her twin brother put together.
Also, she wouldn't admit it, but Wanda saw that Danny was actually sweet, and she was growing fond of him further.
Eventually, the teen duo continued talking to one another as they were both unaware that outside, a certain mutant with an unkempt complextion was staring at them in anger and jealousy before hopping away, not wanting to get caught by either of them.
It was dusk as Danny was getting ready to depart as Wanda accompanied him, just to see him off.
"You know how to find me and who to look for when you come and visit." Wanda comments in a reminding manner.
"Yep." Danny said. "I know how."
Suddenly, before Danny transformed, he shyly glanced away before he looked at Wanda and asked.
"Before I go, is it okay..." he paused. "If I could... kiss you, or does the look but don't touch rule still apply?"
Wanda was taken aback. She didn't expect Danny to ask if he could kiss her, much less continued to show self-control. It was her turn to shyly say.
"It's okay." she adopts a serious voice. "But only on the cheek."
"That was my intention to kiss you there." Danny said.
Before Wanda knew it, she felt Danny press his lips on her right cheek for a quick second, causing her to blush once more. At first, she was speechless before finding her voice once more.
"Maybe you should get going."
"Yeah." Danny replied with hesitation as he transformed.
Wanda watched him depart until Danny was no longer in sight.
It was dusk when Danny returned to Amity Park. The street lights were on as he landed in front of Fenton Works before he transformed. Danny had a lovestruck smile as he thought of Wanda, happy that he was able to see her again, and now he knew who could help him find her should he visit again. After a few minutes passed when he was in thought, Danny went inside Fenton Works as he was greeted by his family.
However, someone saw him.
Paulina was nearby as she saw her beloved return home through binoculars. Her heart fluttered when she witnessed his transformation, causing her to sigh lovingly, but it didn't last. When the Latina saw him smile in a lovestruck manner, she instantly knew the cause; her man was seeing another girl. By seeing him return from elsewhere, this new bitch was in a different city entirely.
Paulina growled as she thought in anger.
"Oh, hell no! Not again!"
A new girl is trying to steal her man. Paulina didn't know who it could be this time, but after being stolen the first time by Manson, she was determined to make sure this bitch got the message that Danny belonged to her.
No one else.
The Latina walked away into the night as she was en route to return home.
And done with this one. Stay tuned for the next chapter of this crossover.
"Thanks for letting me in." pokemon fan 1991 said with gratitude as he was about to depart.
"No prob." guardian1989 said in response. "You're welcome to drop by any time."
After nodding, pokemon fan 1991 departs before Deadpool once again arrives.
"Dude, you're letting PFN drop in anytime he pleases and not me?!" the merc whines.
"Because PFN and other authors are not insufferable." guardian1989 droned in annoyance.
The author raised his arms before catching the loaded tranq rifle, takes aim, and fires the dart. Deadpool deflects with a plate, but the projectile ricochets off the walls before piercing him in the shoulder, injecting its payload.
"D'oh!"
The merc removes the dart as the drug takes hold, making him drowsy and dizzy.
"Don't you... ever... run out of... darts... ?"
The merc with a mouth falls hundreds of feet into the moat once again before the splash sound is heard. Guardian1989 closed the doors before setting his rifle aside.
"Well, readers, til next time, and be sure to check out my other stories if you haven't done so."
danifan3000: 1. Pamela and Jeremy would've sucked up to Danny constantly if they remained in Amity Park, just to increase their own social standing. Let's not forget how critical they were before Danny's secret became public knowledge in the canon.
2. It is absolutely true, but this chapter should give you a clue of what will come about should he encounter anti-mutant citizens. I must admit that I have to agree with you just how violent racism can be.
3. For Skulker to hunt mutants, he would have to be intrigued on a certain mutant power and how many mutants have it. Of course, he'll be playing a dangerous losing game, especially since Wanda can hex his cyber armor to blow up.
DJ Rodriguez: Thank you.
Fiction Realm: After the ordeal with Apocalypse in this crossover, you'll see how they'll realize just how foolish they were.
Dragonrule: Yes he does.
Jaded671: Thank you.
NiteOwl18: Yes. I didn't want to have Sam being jealous in this crossover. Especially since she is already jealous of Danny being with Rogue in my other crossover. Also, it's not just Paulina being jealous of Danny seeing Wanda, Toad will be jealous, too.
Yakuza2010: Well, when Danny and Wanda are together, Paulina will be jealous beyond comprehension. Also, there will be a part where Sam visits Amity Park to see Danny and meet Wanda, and you'll see just how well the two goth girls will get along.
jh831: Yes, and this chapter will show you just how Jeremy became an entrepreneur. I hope you'll like Wanda's encounter with the Box Ghost in this one.
smariag39, Jebest4781, 61394, Njistar: Thank you.
