Back at Area 95, ground personnel and soldiers start cheering as they approach the pilots and the Aces, Howard with them, who has landed their craft.
At the country of Sotoa, a small group of tribesmen starts cheering as they see a City Destroyer burning in the distance.
At Vitoze, the Emmerian people cheer as they see a City Destroyer burning before singing 'A Brand New Day'.
"Dance with the angels, invaders!" an Emmerian man said.
In Estovakia, the Estovakian people cheer at the burning City Destroyer while Estovakian aircraft start flying in formation.
"Long live Estovakia! Long live Earth!" an Estovakian man said.
At the Aurelian capital of Griswall, the Aurelian people gather on rooftops of buildings to cheer at the burning City Destroyer with Gaiuss Tower standing proudly at the capital, and Aurelian Air Force aircraft flies in formation, including Falco and Gryphus Squadron.
In Yuktobania, Yuktobanian citizens in the city of Okchabursk are cheering as they see a down City Destroyer burning.
In Selatapura at the still intact space elevator, the Usean refugees and Princess Rosa Cossette D'Elise are cheering in celebration as they see a City Destroyer burning in the distance, with IUN, Osean and Erusean fighter jets flying in victory formation.
At the city of Hoffnung in Belka, the Belkan people began cheering and doing all sorts of celebrations as they praised the Belkan Air Force in taking down the City Destroyer before it can destroy the city.
"Glory to Belka! Glory to Earth!" a Belkan man said.
At the border of Ustio and Sapin, both Ustio and Sapin citizens celebrate together as they watch a City Destroyer burning in the distance, with Ustio Air Force and Sapin Air Force jets flying by.
Back at Area 95, the civilians that were taking shelter in the underground facility started cheering and applauding the ace pilots, Howard, and other pilots. Trigger, Count, Mobius 1, Viper 2, Omega 11, Talisman and Shamrock eventually reach the operations room where Wilford, the radar officers, Lincoin, Shepherd and other commanders were waiting for them.
"They're going down all over the world, Three Strikes. We got 'em beat." Shepherd said.
"How about our two delivery boys? Any word from them?" Trigger said as Jakob, Jennifer and Laila came.
"We lost contact with Captain Wilson and Grabner nearly 20 minutes ago." Shepherd said.
Everyone was in silence, with Jennifer and Laila worried. The silence ended when a beeping sound came on radar.
"Hold it! Hold on, sir. I've got something on radar." the radar officer said.
A few minutes later, everyone was on Humvees where they saw something burning and two figures. It was Michael and Henry. They made it back from the Mothership! Everyone started smiling and Michael and Henry fist bumped each other. Laila and Jennifer run towards them before the others catch up. Wilford salutes Michael, who salutes back, but before handing Laila his cigar.
"Sorry, sir." Michael said.
"Good job." Wilford said.
"Thank you." Michael said.
"Well done, Captain." Shepherd said saluting Michael.
"Yes, sir. Thank you, sir." Michael said, saluting back.
"Good job, Captain." Trigger said.
"Thank you, sir." Michael said.
Wilford then approaches Henry.
"Henry...not bad." Wilford said with a smile before shaking hands.
"Thank you, Mr. President." Henry said.
"Not too bad at all." Wilford said.
Jakob then notices Henry smoking a cigar and remembers what Henry told him a few days ago.
"Oh, so this is healthy?" Jakob asked.
"Oh, I could get used to it." Henry said, earning laughs from Jennifer and Jakob.
Meanwhile, Trigger, Mobius 1 and Talisman grabbed each other by the shoulders at the start of a brand new friendship.
"This is a new beginning gentlemen. Honor to have flown alongside you two legends." Trigger said.
"You're not bad, Trigger. Glad to fly with the legendary Three Strikes." Talisman said.
"You two remind me of myself in my early days. You two are great pilots." Mobius 1 said.
"Thanks. Oh, and Happy Fourth of July, Trigger. Heck of a birthday for your country." Talisman said.
"Yep." Trigger said.
Everybody starts looking at the City Destroyer as well as the sky as pieces of the Mothership were reentering the atmosphere.
"Didn't I promise you fireworks?" Michael asked Darius.
"Yeah." Daniel said as he smiled.
Everyone continued to look at their greatest victory in the history of mankind.
Well, all stories must come to an end. I hope you all enjoy this rewrite of Ace Combat: Independence Day as much as I did writing it.
