When Dawn came to her senses, she discovered that she was in a dense forest. Next to her lay wounded Team Galactic agents being treated by doctors. Dawn looked around, confused. How did she get here? The last thing she remembered was an explosion at headquarters. Apparently, one of the agents carried her out of the building during the attack.

Dawn tried to get up, but a sharp pain pierced her head. A doctor was immediately nearby:

-Don't rush, you need peace. You have a concussion after being hit.

He examined her and gave her an anesthetic injection. Gradually the pain began to recede.

-What... what happened? How did we get here? Dawn asked in a weak voice.

-We were taken by surprise. The doctor answered. - Special forces captured the headquarters. We were forced to retreat and evacuate the wounded here into the forest.

Dawn closed her eyes, experiencing the shock of what had happened. Their plans collapsed, and the enemy triumphed in victory. But she swore to herself that she would definitely take revenge and help Team Galactic regain their lost positions. After resting, Dawn stood up and walked towards the assembled group of agents. One of the commanders stood in the center and made a speech:

-Comrades! Our commander Saturn has been captured by the police and imprisoned! We must immediately attempt to free him from there. It is our duty to rescue the commander from captivity!

The crowd roared in approval.

-I'm ready to join the operation to save Saturn! Dawn stated as she stepped forward decisively. - Command me, and I will lead the squad to prison!

-This is the right attitude! The agent answered. - Gather a group of volunteers and take action. Free Saturn from the police dungeons!

Dawn nodded and began recruiting a squad of agents for this important rescue mission. Dawn selected a group of brave agents for the operation to free Saturn from prison. They carefully planned their actions: At night, the detachment secretly made their way to the prison building. Dawn and several fighters climbed over the fence and secretly approached the guarded entrance. At this time, the remaining agents staged a diversion on the other side of the prison, diverting the attention of the guards. Taking advantage of the confusion, Dawn's group rushed in and quickly neutralized the few guards at the entrance. They began to move further along the corridors, looking for Saturn's chamber. Finally they found the right section. Dawn summoned her Pokémon and hacked the electronic lock. The door opened and Saturn walked out.

-Faster, follow me! No time to explain! Dawn commanded.

The squad covered him and made their way back to the exit. After Saturn was released from prison, Dawn's group still remained inside the police station building. Taking advantage of the moment, Dawn decided to hack the police computer database. After breaking into the system, she discovered information that she had never actually been accused of illegally reselling Pokémon. It was a deception on Commander Rivay's part when he first asked her to join Team Galactic. Dawn felt rage boiling inside her at this betrayal, but she decided to remain silent for now and return with the squad back to the forest to the rest of the agents. So, the squad, along with the freed Saturn, left the police station building and headed back to the forest shelter. While Dawn's squad was returning to the forest shelter, she remembered that Commander Rivay had disappeared during the police attack on their base. No one has seen him since then. Dawn decided she needed to find Ash Ketchum.

After all, it was Ash who knew her before she lost her memory and joined Team Galactic. He could tell her the truth about who she really was. Dawn knew it wouldn't be easy. In the end, she betrayed Ash by stealing his Pikachu. But he was Dawn's only hope of learning about her past and true identity. After returning to the forest to the rest of the agents, Commander Saturn approached Dawn and thanked her for saving her:

-Thank you for saving me, since you were appointed as the new commander shortly before the attack on the headquarters, let's think about the organization's further actions in this situation.

Dawn thought and suggested: -Hmm, I think we should lie low and collect information about other surviving members of the organization.

Saturn agreed with this and added: - since you are one of the commanders, you need to announce this to all agents.

After discussing the plan of action with Saturn, Dawn first announced to everyone that Cyrus had appointed her commander shortly before the attack on the headquarters, and that only the leader himself, Saturn and several other close associates knew about this appointment. Saturn only nodded approvingly. In principle, everyone had different reactions to this news. Some agreed with this, and some did not, but they did not want to go against Saturn; nevertheless, he was higher in rank than them, so they had to come to terms with it. After this, Dawn began to implement their plan to find the missing agents. She ordered the agents to break into small groups and go in search of other surviving members of their organization. Each group was given a clear search route in a certain area, indicating possible hiding places and hiding places. Dawn hoped that at least some of the agents would survive and be able to join them. Dawn herself, along with Saturn and several fighters, went on a search in the area of abandoned warehouses on the outskirts of the city. They carefully examined all suitable shelters, but so far to no avail. Suddenly Dawn heard a rustling sound at the end of the dark corridor. Taking out a pokeball, she carefully moved towards the sound. But instead of an enemy, a familiar agent came out to meet her! Another surviving member of the organization. The surviving agent happily greeted Dawn and Saturn. He said that, together with several comrades, he managed to hide here after the attack. Dawn gave them instructions to join the others at the shelter in the woods. And she continued her search together with Saturn. They examined several more abandoned warehouses and other places where agents could hide. By evening, Dawn's search party returned to the forest camp. It turned out that other groups also managed to find surviving comrades - only about two dozen agents managed to survive and join them. Dawn was glad that their organization, although it had suffered heavy losses, was not completely destroyed. Dawn decided to move away from Team Galactic's camp and ran into Ash Ketchum. Seeing Dawn, Ash immediately became angry and grabbed the pokeball, reminding him of their last meeting.

Dawn sighed.

-Listen, I'm up to my ears in shit right now, I didn't have enough problems with you.

-You stole Pikachu! Ash shouted indignantly.

-Yes, it was me. Dawn replied calmly. - I stole it on the orders of the commander and I will not apologize. But I suggest we just talk.

With these words, Dawn sat down on a nearby rock, which surprised Ash, but he remained on guard.

"You see, today at the police station I found out that I was tricked into joining Team Galactic by taking advantage of my amnesia," Dawn continued. - And you are one of those who could tell who I was before.

Ash thought for a moment, digesting her words. Finally he said:

-Okay, I'll tell you what I know.

After that, Ash began to tell everything he knew about her. After finishing his story, he looked at Dawn, who stood up and smiled a little.

-Thank you for telling me. Perhaps what you said is true. It's a pity that the police are looking for me, and there is no way back for me. Yes, and I have already given many years to Team Galactic. You know, I've already shown that I can't be trusted. But I'm wondering - how much can I trust you? You won't rat out your girlfriend, will you?

Ash frowned as he thought about her words. He realized that Dawn had gotten herself into a difficult situation. But Ash couldn't betray his old friend.

-I won't rat you out. Ash said firmly.

Dawn smiled.

-Thank you for this, but please stay away from me in the future. Because next time I will meet you as my enemy.

After that, Dawn went to the tent where Saturn was and said:

-Greetings. I know where to look for more missing agents - in the city of Twinleaf Town.

Saturn looked at her thoughtfully:

-Yes you are right. Team Galactic had several safe houses in Twinleaf Town. It is possible that some agents managed to reach these hideouts.

"I'm ready to go there with a detachment and conduct a search operation." Dawn suggested.

-Great initiative! Saturn nodded. - Gather a squad and go to Twinleaf Town. Good luck finding the remaining surviving agents!

Dawn nodded and began to form a search party for an expedition to Twinleaf Town. She selected the most reliable and experienced agents. Secretly, Dawn also had a personal goal for this trip. From Ash's story, she learned that her mother lives in Twinleaf Town. Dawn hoped that she could find her quietly and talk to her in private. Perhaps mom will tell you something more important about her past. The next morning the detachment set out. Dawn tried to hide her excitement from the others. The search for agents was only a cover for her personal mission to meet her mother.

-Okay, squad, let's divide into groups and look in these places. Dawn pointed to the city map in her hands while she was already there.

-And I'll look in this place. She pointed to the marker that was so conveniently located near her house.

The other agents nodded in agreement, unaware of her secret intention.

-Okay, start searching! We'll meet on the outskirts of the city in two hours," Dawn commanded.

The groups dispersed in different directions. Dawn quickly walked towards her house, trying not to attract too much attention. Having reached the desired house, Dawn took the key, which was hidden in a flower pot on the porch, and used it to open the door and go inside. She felt how this house was somehow familiar and at the same time completely alien.

And she heard footsteps approaching her, and she saw a woman who in some places was very similar to her. Seeing Dawn, the woman was initially afraid of her presence.

- Well, hello, mom. Dawn said trying to force a smile.

D...Dawn, is that really you? The woman asked, and tears began to appear on her face.

-Yes, I'm Dawn. She responded with the same facial expression.

After that, her mother ran up to her and began to hug and cry:

-Where have you been for so long and what happened to you? And why are you dressed in a terrorist uniform?

-Well, it will be a long story. Dawn said and sat down on the sofa, which was not far away.

After that, she told about everything that happened to her.

-I'm so sorry you had to go through all this. Mom said, wiping her tears.

-I don't want to put you in danger because of me. Dawn said. - But I have so little time to be with you. Tell me at least something briefly about my childhood while I'm here.

-Okay, dear. Mom nodded. - I will tell you the brightest and most important moments.

She began to briefly retell the entire story of Dawn's childhood. Dawn eagerly absorbed every word, trying to imagine these pictures from the past. But time was inexorably approaching the end.

-I have to go. Dawn said sadly as she hugged her mom goodbye. - Thank you for telling me at least a little about the old me. I will try to visit you at least sometimes.

These words brought even more tears to my mother's eyes, after which they had to break up. After a touching meeting with her mother, Dawn left the house and headed to one of Team Galactic's safe houses, which they were supposed to check out. As expected, the apartment turned out to be empty - none of the agents were hiding there. Dawn quickly examined all the rooms so that she would have something to report on the results of her "search." She then left the house and went to the rally point, where the rest of the search party were already waiting.

-How did the search go? Did you find anyone? One of the agents asked.

-Unfortunately, no one was found in the indicated location. Dawn reported. "We should check other possible shelters in the city."

And the squad moved on to complete the mission. And Dawn secretly rejoiced at that short but such an important conversation with her mother, which helped her learn at least something about her past. After meeting at the rally point, Dawn's squad continued their search in Twinleaf Town. They carefully combed several more Team Galactic safe houses. And this time they were lucky - in one of the houses six agents were found at once, who managed to hide there after the defeat of the headquarters. Dawn and the rest of the squad warmly greeted their surviving colleagues. They were sincerely glad to meet and were ready to join the remaining forces of the organization. Having been replenished with the agents they had found, Dawn's squad immediately set out on the return journey - to the location of the Team Galactic camp.

On the way, they discussed the current situation and shared news. Upon her return, Dawn reported to Saturn the results of a successful search mission in the city. He praised her for her initiative and welcomed the returning agents. After this, Saturn said thoughtfully:

-You know, I think Cyrus's policies led to what happened. He was too obsessed with finding legendary Pokémon and rebuilding the world to his own advantage with their help. He allocated enormous resources for this, but did not think at all about how to implement this plan. Catching a legendary Pokémon is one thing, but subduing and controlling it is another. These Pokemon are so powerful that they are almost impossible to control. Even if all the regions unite, they still won't have enough resources to subdue them. I hope you understand what I mean?

Dawn thought:

-So, my legendary Pokemon is useless?

"It turns out that yes," Saturn answered. After all, what good is it if you can't use it?

These words from Saturn made Dawn take a new look at Team Galactic's goals.

-So we need to change our approach. Dawn said thoughtfully.

-Agree. Saturn nodded

-So our goal should still be to capture the entire Sinnoh region! But we'll just change tactics. Instead of aimlessly trying to subdue legendary Pokémon, we will focus all our efforts on gradually establishing control over Sinnoh," Dawn continued. - We will act on the sly, gaining power in key cities. And then we will take over the entire region!

"Hmm, maybe you're right," Saturn said thoughtfully. - This is a more realistic goal. I support this decision. Said Saturn

-Great! Then let's get started. Dawn stated decisively.
