As the trio were making their way through Route 1 they battled wild Pokémon and other trainers though Emily didn't really fight that much due to by her own statement she didn't want to accidentally hurt any of the wild and trainers Pokémon with her team.
Both Dante and Jason noticed whenever Emily had her starter out almost no wild Pokémon were around as if they felt the presence of apex predator said predator was taking a nap as her trainer brushed her fur, Jason spoke up "Guys you know how there's been sightings of that Fearow and it's flock of Spearow if so I kind want to find it and catch that Fearow because I could really use a Flying Type and having one so strong would be helpful" hearing this both Dante and Emily responded at the same time "How do you plan to take on its flock" the newly formed duo said.
"Ummm... well I was kinda hoping you and your Golbat could handle them with the assist of Dojin and if need be we can rely on our current travel companion who happens to be both a powerful and experienced trainer" He said hopefully as he looked pleadingly at his traveling companions who looked at him with blank looks when Dante said "Well I've been meaning to train Violet up to help her master her new body, though it'll be annoying and risky since Dojin ain't 100 percent yet and is still a bit out of it due the revive I gave him jump started his healing process making him tired but not entirely useless so long he's maintains his distance" Dante then said "Though I would be more than willing if you help Dojin learn stone edge I've been trying to expand his ranged attacks but he doesn't have many options" he asked.
"I'll step in if you two are unable but only then I won't carry the both of you otherwise you won't improve" Spoke Emily as she added her own two cents.
Dante asked the older trainer a question in response to what she said "How long do you plan to stay with us because I was planning to ask for advice and for some help with training" hearing this Emily immediately responded "Hmmm it depends really I didn't make any plans so far, I'll probably stick around for now, and yes I'd be willing to help the both of you with training and what not" spoke the redhead as she looked to be deep in thought the asked the two boys a question "Would you guys want to introduce our teams you both you and you Pokémon only seen Burgundy so far" the older girl asked.
Both boys nodded as they released their respective Pokémon, Jason released his starter Gaia the female Graveler and Dante released his own Starter Dojin and his only other Pokémon Violet the Golbat, seeing the two younger boys finished Emily let out her own team one by one.
"Come on out everyone" Emily called out as her Pokémon were released from their Pokéballs, first one they noticed was an bird like Pokémon made of metal who upon seeing the two boys seemed to preen under the attention and raised her wings that resembled blades they both scanned the posing bird and saw it was a Skarmory a large sized one at that Emily said the steel/flying type name was Dyeus.
Next was an average sized but powerful looking Kingdra reflected by the scars that lines its mighty blue scaled body which spoke of fighting Pokémon strong enough to scar a dragon, the water/dragon type regarded the two boy and three Pokémon with little interest as if they were no more then insects, Emily said his name was Neptune.
What came out next was an Alakazam who seemed to be slightly below average height for its kind but held a presence similar to Emily's Kingdra and Liepard, the Psychic only gave the boys and their teams a simple nod before teleporting under the shade of a tree to meditate, he also mentally told them his mistress who they figured was Emily named him Houdini.
But Emily's second to last Pokémon caught not only Dante and Jason off guard but also their teams, what came out was a absolute juggernaut of an Arcanine who was obviously of the king size for Pokémon standing at a whopping 10'05, the massive fire type looked at its new traveling companions with interest and let out a friendly bark that unintentionally sent shivers down their spines but pulled through and probably greeted the powerful fire type who was named Torch and was male.
The last Pokémon was a large Nidoqueen which stood at 6'10 just slightly below the male variant of the Nido line of Pokémon and possessed the aura of a leader that the others simply didn't have the poison/ground type gave its new friends a friendly wave and a look of amusement when they gave her looks of awe while Dante and Jason looked to be excited at the prospect of the matriarch helping their teams, Emily informed them her name was Queen which was not only kinda bland but fitting.
"Do you have any more Pokémon" asked Jason asked the older girl "I have two four other that are currently back with Professor Oak's lab well to be more precise his ranch" she elaborated in a way that told she wouldn't tell them and the two younger boy wordlessly accepted the explanation without complaint the three noticing it was starting to get a little cold so three went to work on setting up a campfire before it turns night, Emily returned all her Pokémon but her starter Burgundy,Houdini and Torch, Jason and Dante kept their Pokémon out.
"I'll get the wood Jason you get the stones and Emily... what can you do?" Dante asked Emily "I could prepare the camp and see what I can whip up food wise since the three of us hardly ate anything and considering we've barely made a dent traveling through Route 1 since you've both made a point a challenging every willing trainer and wild Pokémon, don't feel to bad I did the same thing when starting out when I first went through here the first time" she told the boys.
"Hmm a lot of dead fallen branches, hmm not a lot of wild Pokémon even though I'm a good distance away from camp now" Dante thought internally when he felt Dojin poke his leg "What's up buddy" Dojin pointed up, I saw Violet hanging upside down and noticed she was pointing her wing towards camp "Is it bad" Dante asked the bat who let out a squeak to Dojin who mad three double team clones "three as an there's someone else at camp or I'm needed back?" Dojin nodded at the second "Well I have plenty of wood anyways might as well, come on guys" As Dante made his way back to camp being followed by Dojin and Violet.
"Hey guys what going on Violet came to get me and Dojin" Dante said as soon as he was within their camps vicinity, "Nothing really we just figured since you've been gone for almost 25 minutes you'd had plenty of wood, which looks to be the case" Jason informed Dante.
"Oh alright did you set up the stones for the fire" I asked, "Yeah it only took about 5 minutes, bring the wood over" spoke Jason as he waved me over, after setting the branches up in the way the survivalist and camping books I read said to Emily came over with the food ingredients and Torch who spat an ember into the camp fire starting it even though it resembled a miniature fireball instead of the typical small bullet of fire.

I felt the morning sun on my skin and the light from it stirring me from my sleep, after getting up I opened my tent and saw that both Jason and Emily were still asleep judging by the fact their tents were still closed, their Pokémon were asleep outside the tent and when I turned my head I saw that my own team was still asleep I decided to get ready for the day and heat up the leftovers spam and fried rice from last night pulling up my Pokégear camera function I saw that my hair was a mess, after stepping out my tent I was wearing a brown pull over hoodie with black stripes going horizontal on the biceps and and black fingerless gloves and were a black down vest which he left unzipped and old blue jeans with ankle high black boots.
I saw Dojin sleeping next to Torch to keep warm and saw Violet hanging upside down asleep on a tall tree, I let out a low pitched whistle and she woke up immediately and saw me I motioned her to follow me she swooped down with grace then flying upright and landed on my shoulder she rubbed her face against my head as a morning greeting "Good morning Violet were there any close calls last night?" I asked her to which she hissed a negative, I raised my hand and scratched her cheek as I walked over to the leftover firewood I picked up a few branches and went over to the put out campfire pit and set the wood up and lit it with a match as the fire started I heard rustling from Jason's tent and saw him peak his face from his tent "Morning Jason" noticing me Jason returned my greeting "Morning Dante, you cooking the leftovers?" Jason sleepily asked, I nodded to his question he went back inside his tent he quickly changed and came out wearing a dark gray zip up hoodie with a black shirt underneath with brown hiking pants with black boots.
"I can take care of that can you fill up our water bottles it's safer for you since you're the only one with a awake Pokémon" Jason asked I shrugged and grabbed our bottles which were very heat resistant and safe to use to boil water, I walked through the woods and saw a decent sized river and saw Violet flying overhead to look out for threats seeing she flew lazily it seemed there were no threats I headed to the river and filled our bottles after finishing that I heard Violet screeching a warning looking to her I saw some silhouettes one being bigger than the rest of the many smaller ones- "GUYS GET UP THE FLOCK IS HERE!!!!!" I yelled as I made it to camp with Violet flying ahead and let out a Screech which immediately got Jason's attention and woke everyone else up.
Emily immediately popped out of her tent with a shirt that was a big big on her and thigh high shorts with no socks or shoes followed by Burgundy who glared at the sky her other Pokémon who were out were in a ready battle stance but calmed when she explained they wouldn't act unless Jason or I couldn't fight anymore.
Gaia rolled over to Jason who was in front of Emily and her team, the flock was closer now and was easier to make out and saw the Large Fearow leading the charge.
I stood facing the flock with Violet flying above me to the right as she glared at the direction of the avian and its flock, Dojin ran over in front of me in a defensive stance.
Once the Fearow and it's flock were right in front of, the great Avian glared at the group then let out a loud squawk which a one third of it's flock dove towards us but I let out a quick command "Violet use Air Cutter then Super-Screech" the bat let out a barrage of air blades immediately knocking out the small birds then let out an ear piercing screech towards the flock affecting and stunning the weak Spearow but annoying the Fearow who countered with Whirlwind which made Violet lose her focus on her combo, but was saved when a chunk of rock smacked Fearow across the face the large avian then glared at Gaia, the bird let out a single squawk the small birds charged towards me and my team and Emily and hers but knew she could handle them.
"Dojin/Violet use Rock Tomb/Air Cutter" The small birds definitely had numbers but lacked quality and proper direction they had from their leader so it was easy enough to take them down,
a Spearow who looked close to evolution came dashing clocked in Sky Attack but was met with Dojin's Focus-Head knocking it out in one blow the rest were taken care of by Violet's Air Cutter, I looked over to Emily and Jason and saw that he was struggling fighting the Fearow and the remainder of it's flock and saw Gaia was started to get winded, "Violet keep the Spearow off of Gaia, Dojin assist Gaia in her fight with Fearow" I commanded.
After all of the flock was knocked out it was just Gaia and Dojin left to face the Fearow after it knocked out Violet with a single Aerial Ace sent Dojin in a rage as he continuously used Rock Tomb to keep the bird from escaping as this was happening I saw Gaia using Rollout and used one of Dojin left over Rock Tomb boulders as a ramp and rammed into the unsuspecting bird sending it to the ground but before it could use Roost again Gaia quickly rolled over to the bird ramming into it again sending it flying into a tree knocking it out it was at this time Jason quickly threw a Pokéball at the leader of the flock as it made contact the Fearow was absorbed into the sphere by the red energy as the ball landed on the ground it shook once twice then clicked.
Jason was silent for a moment before jumping for joy and ran over to the ball careful to avoid any unconscious Spearow and boulders left by Dojin as Gaia grabbed the ball and handed it to her excited trainer who raised the ball into the air and exclaiming "Yes I caught my first Pokémon, heheh this is the best Gaia your the best Dante you and you Pokémon are the best... thank you if weren't for you I wouldn't have been able to catch Fearow" he then looked at the unconscious birds worried about what they'll do once they wake up, "Don't worry now that Fearow isn't around they should fly back to wherever they came from its always a Fearow that gathers them and turns them aggressive for the sake of territory, they'll be fine though I do recommend we live before they wake up though" explained Emily as she went to pack her things, Jason and I looked to each other and nodded he returned Gaia and clipped her ball to her his belt and his newest Pokémon's ball as well and went to pack his things I followed suit after using a revive and potion on Violet who upon waking up looked to be angry and glared at the second Pokéball of Jason's belt with pure contempt I returned her and Dojin so I could pack up as well.
We were almost out of Route one when we saw Julian battling some foreign teenager as they were obviously not from Kanto judging by their looks and spoke with broken Kantonese as if it wasn't their first language similar to Julian who lost his Unovan accent after speaking the language for so long, after making our way closer I noticed Emily looked annoyed once she got a good look at the teenager who had ink black hair with bangs that just barely cover his blood red eyes and had thin scar going vertically down his lip and stood at 6'01, he wore a leather jacket that had a fire type symbol on its back on his shoulders and a black tank top which showed off his muscles and a visible burn scar on his right shoulder going all the way to his frontal bicep and had a white hoodie tied around his waist and was wearing baggy gray jeans and finally a rather worn pair of hiking boots a huge dog like Pokémon was next to as well as some orange bird with black tail feathers, he was smoking a cigarette as he was watching the battle with a look of assurance he was gonna win without needing to command his Pokémon which was a bipedal Feraligator like Pokémon but lack its colors and fins this Pokémon had brick red white and black scales and had a huge jaw that wasn't meant for crushing like a Feraligator jaw was this was meant for it was meant for ripping apart anything unfortunate enough to be caught in them, after scanning the foreign Pokémon I saw its species name was Krookodile and that it was of the large variety of its kind standing at a massive 6'06.5, Julian and the other trainer paused the confrontation when the noticed my traveling companions and me spectating their battle.
"What the hell are you guys doing here, whatever it doesn't matter this ain't over till it's over Tobias" as glared at the older teen who just rolled his eyes as he took another drag of his cancer stick before being bothered enough to answer "Keep telling yourself that kid your Axew is basically on its last leg just give up I told you already that you don't have a chance against my team" said the now named Tobias and gave Julian a look that told him to back down, "Use Dragon Pulse and Prote-" before Halberd could attack he instinctively used protect but his barrier was strong enough yet as he was being pummeled by Stone Edge before fainting, seeing his starter get manhandled the Julian into a rage as he grabbed his second ball on his belt as he returned his dragon to it Luxury-Ball, what came out the normal Pokéball was an average sized Wartortle who upon seeing the massive ground type tensed and tried to look intimidating to no avail.
"Use Iron Shell-Slide along with Water Gun" the blue turtle retracted its limbs into its body and started spinning while being covered in a steel sheen for a second before rapidly spinning towards the Unovan Pokémon its speed increasing from the Water Gun that acted as both a speed boost but also a secondary defensive, attempting to ram the Krookodile but was sent crashing into the ground just a inches away from the croc by a Brick Break the croc looked at the crater with pity before its face was blasted by Scald while the move was super effective it was clear the only thing they accomplished was pissing the croc off as it grabbed Wartortle by his shell as the water type was fighting to get free the croc opened its maw and saw azure fire building up in the back in its throat and fangs it then spewed an azure fireball Inecenerate at the turtle but wasn't prepared for the last second Protect which still sent the water flying covered in scorch marks but was still stood proud even though he was a 'little' hurt, the croc looked ready to rip apart water type for tricking him into slightly hurting itself it began to cloak itself in a draconic aura, once seeing this Julian quickly called to his Pokémon "Fuckin run now!!!" But before he had the chance Tobias with his rough and gravelly voice shouted "Gustave stop now!!" the male teen yelled in a strict way that left no room for arguments as his croc looked back at his stern expression the croc lowered its head in shame "Sorry kid is your Wartortle okay I can heal your team for you that alright" Julian glared at Tobias before nodding before calling his Pokémon to his side.
Tobias walked over to Julian as he released the unconscious Halberd, Tobias pulled out a max revive and crushed it in his hands and put the now powder in the dragons mouth along with water and pulling Halberd's head back so he could swallow it once the dragon was awake Julian picked him up and had Wartortle follow him as he walked past everyone while glaring at nothing in particular he ignored me when I called his name he eventually disappeared in the distance.
After the watching Julian get completely overwhelmed his opponent introduced himself to Jason and I which left me to assume he knew Emily as he gave her an annoyed look "Hey there my names Tobias Blake I'm 17 and from Castelia City specifically the south side from the Unova region these guys behind me are Fang my starter Stoutland and Gustave the Krookodile, what are you're two's name" he asked curiously.
"I'm Dante West this guy here is Jason Green" I introduced us as Jason was distracted by staring at Tobias's massive Krookodile and Stoutland who gave him looks of annoyance and boredom respectively, "Hmm West... Any relation to Sophia West by chance" he asked curiously "Yeah she was my sister did you meet her when she traveled through Unova l" I answered his question while asking one myself "Yeah I knocked out the Unova conference and traveled with her through Kalos before she got the call asking her if she wanted to be a Elite Four Trainee" hearing this made me wonder "Hmmm I don't remember Sis telling me about any traveling companion did something happen, wait wasn't the time since went to Unova was the time when those four gangs ruled over Castelia and his jacket looks familiar?" After thinking it over I asked Tobias a question "Were you the former south side Blazer member who united Castelia city?" Hearing my question he looked shocked "Your sister told you about that?" He asked while taking another drag of his cigarette.
"Yeah she told me and I quote her words when I say this I'm helping some former member of a gang to unite Castelia and put away the the remaining gangs or something like that" hearing my explanation he let out a haughty laugh "hahahaha yeah that sounds like her, she talked about you from time to time saying stuff like you always having your nose in a book and her notes about training and techniques and strategies" Hearing this brought back some good memories.
"Surprising to see you be so mellow Toby" Emily said with venom, sensing a argument was about to happen I backed up and noticed Tobias had nine Pokéballs on his belt showing he had some type of connection to his League.
"Well not all of us have the unfortunate condition of having a stick up our ass like you do" Tobias retorted in a bored tone as he blew smoke from his cigarette which was almost gone in her direction causing her to cough and her starter to hiss and glare at Tobias but stopped when she heard Fang let out a deep growl and glare which she returned in kind with her own growl and glare.
"It's a wonder you still have functional lungs while smoking those cancer sticks all things considered criminal" she said in instigative tone which caused Tobias to stand at his full height and glare down at Emily showcasing their height difference her being 5'09 compared to his 6'01 but before anything could've happened "Ladies ladies your both beautiful so shut up" Said Jason who immediately shrank when their glares turned to him and hid behind me, "There there your safe now" I jokingly said.
"Jesus Christ your always on my dam case what have I ever done for you to constantly ride my dick every time we happen to meet and I so much as look at you, you rancid bitch" as soon as the words left Tobias mouth he was slapped him and went to do it again but he caught her hand and put her into an hammer lock she let out a grunt of pain when her starter went to aid her but Tobias's own starter broke the fight up with a loud Roar, Tobias seemed to calm at the sound as he let Emily go as she massaged her wrist and looked at Tobias with a look of fear seeing this "Listen I'm sorry for doing that but you just kept pushing me, let me see your wrist" he asked Emily reluctantly showed him her wrist "You'll be fine just put it on ice, hmm you guys there's an old friend of mine from Galar he's currently in Vermillion who's a wandering water master and breeder who's been trying to find trustworthy trainers to raised three of his first successful hatches you three meet the bill for that just let him know I sent you, I'm gonna head off now" spoke Tobias as he returned his starter and saddled up his orange red bird but before taking off he threw me something "Dante that's my contact info if you need help I'm only a call away" after saying this he flew off.
The next day we made good distance we made it to Route 2 and according to Emily we were close to Diglett Cave, this was proven true when we saw the sign, after walking past the checkpoint we made our way through the entrance of the cave and saw the cave had a ladder system leading through all the way to Route 11.
"You guys better be prepared it's gonna take a about 3 to 2 days to make it to Route 11" The teen said as she walked ahead "Man I'm so stocked for our first gym battle how bout you Dante" Jason asked me as I nodded and thought to myself "Let's see I have the type advantage with Dojin but it'll still be tough" I internally thought as we passed some Diglett tunnels as we traversed the cave to our gym battle.
