Author's Note

Since I am not writing this story in a strictly linear fashion. I decided to attempt a segment of the Raid on Onigashima as currently might happen in this story

As the raid continued it was the alliance of the Straw Hats, Heart, Kid, Mink, and Wano Samurai that were taking on Kaido and his Beast Pirates. It was a all or nothing tactic that they were taking as if this raid failed there was no reason for Kaido to keep any of them alive anymore. There would be no second or third chances should this raid fail. After all, Kaido might want the strongest crew by making them serve under him willingly or after he managed to break their wills. This reason they would be allowed to live if this raid failed was simple. The alliance that was after him right now needed to be made as an example of what happens to those who think they can challenge not just him but Big Mom whom he had just formed a new alliance. Possibly the first time to be in a formal alliance with her since the days they were in the Rocks Pirates together.

There on the rooftop stood the heads of the alliances all of them together. The Wano Samuri's leader the retainers to Oden had taken their shot at him and had done their best with their shot at the king. However, they failed to live up to the saying of when 'you aim at the king. You better not miss' which they had as their strength alone was enough to take them done.

However, before they can be finished off when Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Killer, and Law appear on the rooftop and save them all from certain death at the hands of Big Mom and himself. There were two more late arrivals as this alliance had some latecomers that were not just Marco the Phoenix.

"Did you really think after everything you did to not just to me but to my little brother and one of my best friends that I would miss out on the perfect chance to give you a beating?" the first one said

"I lost my hands because of you and could have died as a result of your attempt at what you wanted to call that shot at parenting," the second one said.

"So you came to me after all to save me the chance of hunting you down to get my kid back," Kaido told the first one

"You stopped being my dad the moment I lost my memories because of your actions," Yamato said as she was the second latecomer to the fight

"Don't think of trying to erase my existence again like you did before. At least if you do then you can not use the same method again. I made sure that someone can not even get the Toy Fruit again" Ace the first latecomer said.

"So does not mean that the two of you" Big Mom suggested.

"I am not my little brother and Yamato can be quite ruthless when pissed off enough," Ace said.

"If you have your memories back then why are you still in your...Mink form as you seem to be called that now" Kaido asked Yamato.

"Why not be in the form I am the most used. After all, I spent my time like this then in my birth form. To me this is my pefer self as I am Yamato of the Spade Pirates not whatever you viewed as back in my past here" she told him.

Cause there were seven pirates against two Yonko they at first just attacked at random with little attempts at truly working together as it was a miracle there was no friendly fire at that point. Though he did not like it Ace joined in on taking Big Mom with Kid, Killer, and Law. The reasoning for this was that not only was he a fire type devil fruit user but user of the Fire Logia fruit itself. He was probably more helpful against Big Mom's fire homey, Prometheus. He was not exactly immune to the fire it put out being it was literally a piece of Big Mom's soul itself. Ace's devil fruit was literally fire itself not just mere aspect of it and/or flames so that did make it so that he was best of the seven to take it on with the least amount of issue.

This would have freed up Zoro but he was still recovering from tanking a combined attack of Kaido and Big Mom with Yamato's help to lower the damage it did to both of them. Yamato is recovering faster because she is herself, a Zoan, and well Kaido's daughter after all. Leave her to tag team Kaido with Luffy at the moment with each of them covering for the other as they launched their attack on him.

When Luffy tried to claim he could take on Kaido alone that did not fully pan out as Yamato was the only one that was staying. If Luffy tried to get her to leave then the two vs one would become one where it is Yamato vs both Luffy and Kaido as she was willing to fight them both at once. Yamato was here to settle things with Kaido and Luffy knew the only one she took orders from was Ace.

When Luffy was knocked off the island after a failed attack Yamato took over and kept seriously trying to defeat him just on her own this time. She was not buying time for Luffy to get back as she was going to keep fighting him until she won.
