Ishgar, Kingdom of Fiore, Unkown Location
Natsu, Erza and Mira tracked through the forest, "So, Natsu, do you know where the mountain in the east is," Erza asked him.
"It could be Mt Elor," Mira said, but Natsu shook his head.
"No, Mt Elor is smaller than the mountain that we are going to," Natsu said as they looked at him, "The mountain we are going to is one that Igneel took me to once," Natsu told them.
"Really, what is it called," Erza asked him as they made their way through the forest.
"It's called Mt Draco, and even though I have not set foot on it, It holds the door to the real of the dragon and the birthplaces and resting place of all dragons of the world," Natsu told the girls.
"Wait, they mean the afterlife for the dragons," Mira asked him.
"That's right, heaven or something akin to it for all dragons, and before both of you ask, no, I do not think that Igneel is there," Natsu said as both girls nodded.
A Few Hours Later
The three sat down at a campsite as Mira cooked a large pot of food.
Natsu kept the fire going with his magic.
Erza sat down on a log and turned to one of her swords before looking over to the dragon slayer, "Natsu, do you have any stories from the dragons for us," She asked him.
He looked over at her, "Are there any times of stories you want to hear," Natsu asked her.
"How about something like a hero to the dragon," Erza asked him, Naruto closing his eyes in thought before nodding.
"I think I have the one one; it is about three human heroes who were given the chance to become dragons by the will of Dezeha," Natsu said as both women looked at him.
"That is something that I would like to hear," Erza said with a nod, with Mira nodding.
"I would like to hear something like that as well," Mira said with a nod of her head.
Natsu leaned back as he started to resight the story, "Back during long passed age, there was a knight who earned the title of Timaeus, the knight of foresight, who led two more knights, the first was Hermos, the knight of arms, and Critias, the knight of traps," Natsu told them as he looked at the fire before he lifted a hand to the campfire and lifted his hand as some of the flames come off as three figures of fire appear above the campfire.
They looked like knights as both Mira and Erza looked at the flames.
"Timaeus, Hermos, Critas was called on by Dezeha to hunt down a dragon that went rogue and to let the soul of this dragon return to the land of the souls, which had gained the name of the Hidden World, the home of the souls of the dragons," Natsu said as he turned the campfire into the countryside as the thre kight figures of flames turned into different colours as one turned teal, another turned navy, the last turned into solid red.
"The three knights moved and fought those that worked for the dragon and fought through the pails, over the hills, and atop mountains," Natsu told them as the flames changed from the countryside to a large flat disk of fire with the three knights figures standing on top of it.
Each of them had their swords in hand ready.
Erza and Mira were in the story now and on the edge of their seats.
Well, Erza was.
"Once the three knights had confounded the dragon, who went by the name of Lemvolu, the end bringer, he was a darkness dragon who rules the southern part of the world," Natsu said as black flames formed as it turned into a serpentine dragon with two broad wings, "The three knights fought the dragon tooth and nail until Lemvolu killed Critas it's venomous fangs and crushing Hermos with his tail," He said as the black flame serpentine dragon bit at the red flames before it used it's tail to wrap around the navy flames and started to.
Constricted the flames, snapping the knight figure in half.
Erza and Mira looked shocked by this.
"Lemvolu struck Timaeus with a roar spell and shot him back into a wall," Natsu said as the black flame serpent breath out flames at the last knight figure, "Critas and Hermos, with the last of their breath, used the last of their power and sent it to Timaeus got back into the fight with Dezeha using her power to turn Timaeus into a dragon with the title of Timaeus, the cyan dragon and with the magic he gained from his friends he was fighting Lemvolu once more," He told them as the cyan flame figure turned golden and turned into a four-legged dragon.
"Timaeus and Lemvolu fought once more, but this time, Timaeus was the one who won this time and when Timaeus tore the head off his enemy and called on the power of Critas to use the trap of darkness," Natsu said as the golden dragon bit down on the other black Dragon's neck and tore off its head as tendrils of navy flames wrapped around the body of the black Dragon, "And then Timaeus called on the power of Hermos and bound the soul of Lemvolu to his own scales before he burned away the last of the beast," Natsu finished as the filmed of the campfire returned to normal.
"That was an amazing tale," Mira said as she served the food for herself, Natsu, and Erza.
"I know, but is it a true story," She asked him as Natsu shrugged.
"I don't really know," He told her.
Two Weeks Later
After two weeks of walking, the three reached the base of Mt Draco, looked at each other, and started camp for the night.
"So in the morning, we climb this mountain then," Mira said as night started to creep in.
Natsu nodded as he looked up at the mountain's peak hidden by the clouds.
"Yep, and when we reach the top, there is something there that will lead us to the next point, and we will find the hidden world," Natsu said as Erza nodded.
"That makes sense, as I found something here, but I don't know what it is," She said as she held something up as Mira and Natsu looked at it.
It was a giant stone slap with symbols carved into it.
"What is that," Mira asked as she looked at it before something caught her eye.
Natsu was moving his finger across the air and his eyes moving.
Like one would do when reading.
"Can you read it," Mira said as Natsu stopped reading before looking over to her.
"Yeah, this is Dragonic, and this is possibly the instructions on what to do next," Natsu said as they looked at him, "To reach the world within the world, you must reach the peak and gather the light of Quilla and let it open the path forward," He read as the girls looked at him.
Mira looked at him before looking at him, "Quilla, what's that," She asked him.
"It was one of Dezeha's first children, along with her brother Inti, but I'm having trouble remembering who they are," Natsu said with a frown as he rubbed his chin.
They started having food before falling asleep, not knowing they were being watched from the shadows.
"I shall test them, m'lady, to see if they are the ones," It said before blending into the shadows.
The following day, the three Fairy Tail members woke and made their way up the mountain.
"Something is not right," Ezra said as she looked around with Natsu, and Mira nodded.
Natsu sniffed the air, "Noting is around us, but I can't help but feel that we are being watched and downwind, so something could be tracking us," He told them as they nodded at him so that they slowly made their way up.
A feeling filled the air as Mira and Erza stopped
Natsu turned to them, "What is it," Natsu asked them as he looked at them.
"Something is using Lightning Magic," Erza said as Natsu looked around, sniffing the air.
Natsu was bout to say anything when two creatures appeared before them.
They both resembled colubrid in appearance, with greyish-blue scales covering their slim squirrel-like shape, and on their neck were patches of white fur and a bushy tail covered in rows of spikes and had four limbs with the front limbs having spikes.
"It's a Tobi-Kadachi," Natsu said as they looked at him, "It's a breed of Wyvern that uses a high tear of Lightning Magic and is a breed of Fang Wyvern," He added as the girls looked at both of them.
"Re-Quip," Erza called out as her clothes and body gave off a bright light, "Lightning Empress Armor," She called out when the light died down.
The breastplate of her armour is decorated by golden trimmings and has thin plates going up to surround Erza's neck; the similarly adorned pauldrons are composed of two plates one over the other, with the top ones each sporting a prominent protrusion.
Her entire arms are covered in armoured gauntlets with the greaves, on the other hand, possessed matching protrusion on them, with a huge pair adorning the knee guards, but are instead composed of plates attached to simple, thigh-high boots with high heels.
While the armour lacked a waistguard, it sported a decorated cloth hanging down from the breastplate to cover Erza's groin, sporting a single piece on the top front and three on the back, decorated by large spheres with fur-like ornaments hanging from them.
Erza's hair was styled in a long braid with a band on her head with two ribbons.
In her hands was a long spear with two spearheads and a decorated circular wheel connecting the shaft with the spearheads, giving off sparks; the spear was adorned with a ribbon underneath the circular wheel with two loose strands.
A magic circle formed beneath Mira as she gave off a light.
When the glow vanished, her eyes became darker, with longer eyelashes and a dark, thin marking in a light zigzag style crossing her right eye vertically; similar markings are present above her right breast and on both of their bare thighs.
Mira's hair became wild, jutting upwards and getting curlier, with the front ponytail growing longer, her ears enlarging, extending backwards, and gaining pointed edges, and her teeth became sharp and a dark lipstick formed over her lips.
Mira's forearms and hands receive noticeable changes, becoming covered in scales and sprouting a fin-like protrusion on their outer side, along with a stocky tail seemingly made of metal plates getting smaller and smaller near their end.
Mira's clothing had changed as well to a dark red skimpy one-piece suit, which reveals their arms and legs and is open on the front and the back, exposing most of their belly and wide cleavage with the clothing having has golden-coloured edges taking on spiky shapes, and their similarly spiky collar is tied around the neck by a cravat tie.
Her shoulders are tied in thin belts protruding from their one-piece suit, and her feet are covered by matching, high-heeled thigh-high boots, which are decorated by lighter motifs on her upper parts, taking on the shapes of jagged blades pointing downwards on the front of her legs, and on the lower parts, in correspondence to their ankles and feet.
"Take-Over: Satan Soul," Mira said as she looked at one of the Tobi-Kadachi with a dark smile as Erza stedied her spear.
Natsu looked at both of them before he formed a stance with flames around his fists as he glanced at them.
"Mira, Erza, if we beat them, we can use their scales and bones to make armour, and it would make Erza stronger," Natsu said as he looked at one of them.
Erza's eyes sparkled as she ran forward with her spear out with Natsu next to her and his hand ablaze.
"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist," Natsu called out as he jumped forward with a flaming fist and punched the Tobi-Kadachi in the chin.
Erza appeared on the other side and fired beams of lightning at it.
"Erza, Re-Quip another weapon as Lightning Magic does nothing to it," Natsu yelled as he punched the Tobi-Kadachi again.
Erz nodded, and her spear started to glow before it was changed with a katana.
Mira formed a large ball of dark energy in her hands before shooting it into a beam of darkness at her Tobi-Kadachi, and the fanged wyvern sent out a blast of lightning that met the beam of darkness.
Mira sprouted bat-like wings as she took to the air, and the Tobi-Kadachi jumped around before jumping off the mountain, and it glided from in the air like a flying squirrel.
"Flash/Fire Dragon's Roar," Natsu and Erza called out as Erza a sharp magic crescent.
Natsu breathed out a cyclone of flames from his mouth that met with the arc of magic and gave it batter speed with the Tobi-Kadachi that they were facing and breathed out a blase of lightning that it sent towards both Erza and Natsu.
Natsu jumped away, and Erza took the attack head-on.
But it just washed over her and did nothing to her.
"Evil Shower," Mira called out as she fired bullets of darkness magic at the Tobi-Kadachi. The wyvern tried to dodge the bullets, but they started to hit it, and it could not move from the onslaught of magic bullets.
Natsu ran into his Tobi-Kadachi and delivered a point-blank Fire Dragon's Roar as it stepped back, with Ezra running forward as her body was coated by light once more.
When the light died, it showed Erza was in another armour.
This armour looked to be made with silver metal, with the upper part of the armour only consisting of a minor, revealing breastplate that extends along her hips, composed of feather-shaped plates pointing upwards with a large metal flower on the front, leaving the tops of her breasts exposed, as well as her stomach. Her biceps are covered by metal straps, and her vast plated gauntlets sport feather-shaped plates at the edges.
Around her waist was circled by large, decorated plates reminiscent of feathers on a large skirt, and she wore a pair of plated boots partially under her skirt, each sporting metal ornaments shaped like wings.
Erza's armour also had a neck guard of feather-like plates and a tiara with prominent metal wings. On the back were two pairs of large metal wings composed of metal feathers that got longer and larger at the edges.
"Heaven's Wheel Armor," Erza called out as she zoomed in on her target alongside Natsu before Re-Quiping two swords into her hands.
They were both one-handed swords with blue embellishments along the blade that featured feather-shaped handguards.
"Heaven's Wheel: Pentagram Sword," Erza called out as she slashed in a pentagram shape, cutting the Tobi-Kadachi and sending it flying.
Mira started to gather energy in her hands, forming a giant ball of darkness in her hands and once the ball got big enough, she gained a dark smile as she looked at the Tobi-Kasachi, "Soul Extinctor," She yelled out as the ball turned into a large beam of darkness that seemingly swallowed her opponent.
After a few seconds, she stopped the attack and saw that her opponent was still standing.
But it was bearly so she landed back on the ground and turned back to normal.
"Could I," She asked herself in thought as Mira looked at the Tobi-Kadachi, which was limping and just staying on its feet, and got an idea.
She called on her magic, sent it at the wyvern, and bound it with her magic.
The Tobi-Kadachi started to give off a bright light as it began to shrink into a small ball of light floating over to Mira before pushing itself into her body.
"Alright then, let's try it," Mira said as her magic circle formed beneath her, and she was overtaken by light.
When she stopped glowing, her body had taken parts of the Tobi-Kadachi, with the scales covering her face going from her temples moving back to the back of her neck and going down his back; her hair became longer and while two stubby horns that just out of her head, one above each eye on her forehead.
With greyish-blue scales, with her fingers turning into claws, the scales cover her arms up to her elbow, the same scales cover her legs from below her knees, and her feet are like that of the Tobi-Kadachi, while his hands become claws and sweeping behind her was a bushy tail covered in rows of spikes.
And her clothes change to a dark grey one-piece suit, revealing a light blue corset.
"Dragon Soul: Tobi-Kadachi," Mira called out as she got on all fours before running forward and joining Natsu and Erza in attacking the remaining Tobi-Kadachi.
"Heaven's Wheel: Circle Sword/Fire Dragon's Sword Horn/Lighting Runner," All three called out, with Natsu becoming a flaming rocket and going in with a headbutt and Mira doing the same but with lightning surrounding her body.
Erza, on the other hand, had a spinning disk of blades that rotated around her.
The three Fairy Tail members shot forward and burst into and passed the Tobi-Kadachi, making it fall to the floor as it got back up, looked at them wounded, and stared the three of them down.
But it would not go down, and Natsu glared at it as he felt his fire get hotter and started to remember something.
A young Natsu was talking with Igneel, who was in his proper dragon form, and both of them were in a wide-open clearing.
"Hey, Igneel," Natsu asked the Dragon, who looked down at his foster son.
"Yes, Natsu," He asked the child.
"What are the other powers within me," He asked the Dragon.
Igneel looked down at the boy he called his son, "Those powers, Natsu, are something compelling," He told him as Natsu nodded, "One is bright and holy while the other is dark and unholy," Igneel added as Natsu nodded at the Dragon.
But the boy could not help but feel down.
"Now, even though a power seems unholy or holy, it does not make you good or evil," Igneel told him as Natsu looked at him, "But what does is how you use that power," He explained to Natsu.
"Well, Igneel, it's time to see if you're right," Natsu thought as he looked deep within his soul.
He found two power stars roaring like his Dragon Slayer Magic.
Natsu pitched one that looked like a golden ball radiating pure light.
On the other hand, he thought of it like an orb of darkness with many elements.
He took a deep breath and found a teacher that connected him to these two bits of power.
So he started to pull on both of them as power began to flow off him in waves.
The Tobi-Kadachi looked over to him as it started to step back from the dragon slayer, with Mira doing the same as something told her that she should get away.
And then something happened that shocked both girls.
Natsu's right arm was engulfed in a golden light and started to swirl around it.
Natsu's left arm, on the other hand, was engulfed with pure darkness. When he looked at the Tobi-Kadachi as the golden light over his right arm moved down to his fist, "Heaven's Knuckle," Natsu called out as he sent a beam of light from his fist at the fanged wyvern and nocked it back as the golden light faded from his arm before Natsu pointed his left arm as the darkness sank into his arm showing that it was a clawed hand and pointed at the Tobi-Kadachi, "Curse of Gravity: X5," Natsu called out as the wyvern crashed into the ground and could not move.
"Erza, finish this quickly, I don't know how long I can hold this," Natsu said as Erza snapped out of it and rocketed forward.
"Heaven's Wheel: Pentagram Sword," Erza called out again as she cut down the Tobi-Kadachi.
"Natsu, what was that," Mira asked as she walked over to him and returned to normal.
"I don't know, but I did remember Igneel telling me that I have other powers within me, and well, I decided to try them out," Natsu said gently.
But Mira did not know what to say about what as they turned to Erza, "Let's help her skin that thinks that we can keep the meat for later," Natsu said as Mira nodded, and the two walked over, and they started to butcher the Tobi-Kadachi.
Within Natsu's Soul
Natsu's soul was that of a volcanic wasteland filled with rivers of laver and volcanos around the area.
And one was laid down within a cave of one of the volcanos.
It was Igneel who was in his dragon form.
Igneel looked up from where he lay, looked into the sky, and saw what made up this world's sun and moon.
"So you're already calling on the power that your mother and father left you," He said as he looked at them before the patter of feet on the ground filled his ears.
He turned to see both Mavis and Zeref walking over to him.
"It has been some years since I saw the two of you," Igneel said as he laid his head down, and both of them walked over to him, "I do have to ask, did you have to make yourself a devil," Igneel asked Zeref who nodded at him.
"Yes, and if I have to say that, it was easy," Zeref said as Smerk and Mavis slapped the back of the man's head.
"Yes, easy turning our son into an Etherious like your creation that turned against you," Mavis said with a shake of her head, "But would like to know how he gained Fairy Light Magic as I had that, and I did not pass that on to him," She said as she looked at the Dragon.
"It might be because Natsu is not really fully human, even though Zeref turned him into an Etherious," The fire dragon told them as Mavis looked at him, "But he was a third human and one-third fey, and if I'm not mistaken you, Mavis is half-fey," Igneel told them as Mavis looked at the Dragon in shock.
"I'm half fey," Mavis asked him as Igneel nodded.
Earthland, Kingdom of Fiore, Mt Draco
The three Fairy Tail wizards stood atop the mountain as they looked around the entrance to the hidden world.
The top looked like a large bowl.
"Erza, do you have anything over there," Mira asked as she looked around.
"Just some markings that look like dragons," She said.
Natsu and Mira walked over to see what she was talking about.
"The stone tablet we found said, 'To reach the world within the world, you must reach the peak and gather the light of Quilla and let it open the path forward,' and if I remember right, I think I know what we have to do next," Natsu said as the girls looked at him.
"What is it," Erza asked him.
"We have to wait for the moonlight to shine down on us," Natsu told her as she nodded.
The three went and set up a small camp, and Mira cooked the meat from the Tobi-Kadachi.
When they were done eating, the moon was high in the sky.
"Now, to see if I'm right," Natsu said as the girls nodded, and the moonlight illuminated the top of the mountain.
The makings on the rock that Erza found started to light up.
Along with four others with lines of light moving into the centre of the mountain top as it became a whirlpool of light.
"So I did remember, right," Natsu said as the girls looked at him, "Quilla is the dragon that became the moon," he told them as he walked forward, and the girls followed him as they stood on a ledge, looking into the whirlpool of light.
"Shall we," Natsu said as he jumped into it with Mira and Erza following him.
