Team RWBY is scattered. The Heiress was taken to her Kingdom by her father. Man reminded me of House. Nearly shot him on principle. Managed to hold back…. barely.
The Sister is awake. Not coping well with the loss of her arm, but it was more than that. The Bull robbed her of her confidence. She was experiencing terrors in the night. Helping as best I can, but I don't have a good record of dealing with trauma. Last time I tried, confrontation at the Divide was the result.
Tha Faunus and the Chameleon went to Menagerie to inform Sienna Khan of what had happened. Managed to convince them to linger, say a proper goodbye to their friends. Seemed to put the Sister's mind at ease a bit.
The Little Huntress…still comatose. Brought to us by the Bird. He told me what the silver flash was. Of the Little Huntress's hidden power. Told me of the history of those silver eyes. Asked him how they work, didn't have an answer. Would have to find out for ourselves.
The remnants of JNPR are also here. Grieving for their lost member. Hoping they wouldn't lose any more friends. I hoped the same, though I knew better. Still, sparred with them while we waited for the Little Huntress to awaken. Helped them hone their skills. Tried to get the Sister involved. Didn't work.
Spoke to the Bird, asked what was next. He suspects the next attack will happen in Mistral. Plans to go once the Little Huntress awakens. Told him it would be best to wait, make sure everyone was strong enough for the journey. Knew she would want to help.
Just hope we aren't leading them all to their deaths.
And done! The next volume is not starting yet, and even when it does, it probably won't be what you think it is. Just know there is a method to my madness.
