October 30th

The team had just wrapped a mission and was flying back to the states. The team was settled around some crates they were using as a table to play poker. "Man, I can't tell you guys how happy I am to actually get to go tricker treating with my kids this year." Ray says.

Jason chuckles. "The little things right. I wish I could have been there for more Halloweens."

"I can say I'm excited for a different reason for Halloween." Sonny laughs.

"Of course." Clay laughs "Alcohol, body glitter and costumes."

"All the best things." Sonny says with a laugh.

"Well Sonny, if you can tear yourself away from your festive holiday plans long enough Niama wanted me to invite everyone over for a little last-minute Halloween get together." Ray says to the group.

"Aww now, how could I turn down an offer from Naima?" Sonny replies.

Jason looks around the table. "It's settled then, tomorrow at the Perry's."

"It's been a while since we were all over there." Brock says. "You guys need us to bring anything."

"Last Naima told me she has everything she needs."

Clay spots Davis moving around. "Davis." He yells.

"Yes Clay." Lisa says as she walks over to the group.

"It's good to talk to you too Davis." Jason chuckles as he takes the files she was carrying out of her hands. "Ray and Naima have invited us over for Halloween."

"And clearly it wouldn't be the same without you." Ray adds.

"I don't know guys. I have some more to get done." Lisa tries to defend.

"Lisa, don't be a party pooper." Sonny says pointing at her.

Lisa shakes her head. "I really don't know." She says as she reaches for the files Jason took from her. "Can I please have those back."

Jason moves them out of her reach. "Not until you promise to actually show up tomorrow."

"Do it for the kids, when was the last time they got to see Aunt Lisa?" Trent joins in.

"Why won't you guys just let me be a workolic hermit?" She asks.

"Because that ain't a life Lisa." Sonny says locking eyes with her.

Davis rolls her eyes at him. Damn him for turning her own words on her like that, she thinks. "Fine, if it means I can have my files back."

"Don't forget your costume there Davis." Sonny chuckles.

"No, I'll come, but no costume." Lisa protests

"Then I guess you aren't getting these files back." Jason says matter-of-factly.

"You guys are mean." Lisa huffs. "I'll be there, and I guess I'll be in a costume."

"That's all we ask Davis." Jason says as he hands the files back to Davis.

"Thank you." Lisa says as she takes the files back before walking away from the group.

As everyone is exiting the plane Ray clears his throat "Remember guys, my house tomorrow about 1700. Naima wants to eat before the kids head out." The team all nods and grumbles in agreement.

Jason opens the door to Mandy's apartment. "It smells good in here babe." He says as he walks into the kitchen.

"I hope so." Mandy says as she turns to look at him.

He continues to move towards, wrapping his arms around her waist. "So, Ray invited everyone over for dinner and tricker treating tomorrow night. Costumes required."

"Oh, is this my official invite?" Mandy asks before kissing him.

When they pull apart Jason looks at her. "It is."

"We are going to go as a couple?" Mandy asks, turning back to the stove.

"I want to. Plus, if we break the news that we are together first, I think our little peanut won't be such a shock." Jason says.

"I that will be shocking regardless of the team knowing our relationship status." Mandy counters.

"Possibly, but at least they will know we are together." Jason pauses. "I love ypu Amanda Ellis and I want to scream it from the roof tops, but you won't let me."

Mandy smiles, no guy had ever told her that. "I love you too Jason. If you think it is the right time to tell the team that we are together, not about the pregnancy then we can."

"I think it's time." Jason smiles. This was the last way he expected his year to end. In love and expecting with Mandy Ellis. "When are we going to tell them about the baby?"

"Jason I'm only 9 weeks. The only other person that knows is Lisa and I want to keep it like that for a while."

"Fine, fine. When you're ready. But you're skinny, how long do you think you will be able to hide it?" Jason asks.

"As long as I can." Mandy says sarcastically.

"Glad you're in denial that there is going to be a bump very soon." Jason says as he places a hand on her stomach.

Mandy huffs. "I'm not in denial, I just... I just like this being between us. It gets messy when we start adding more people in."

"That's fair, but other than you and the kids these are the people I care about most in this world." Jason says.

"I know Jace. But this isn't your first time down this path, it's mine though."

"I know sweetie, whatever you need." He says watching her plate their dinner. "Costume ideas?"

"Well, this is pretty last minute. What can we do easily?" She asks as they move to the kitchen table.

"Hm, that's a good question." Jason says. Matching couples costume, he couldn't remember the last time he did that.

As they ate Mandy scrolled though Pinterest looking for ideas. "Oh, Pulp Fiction. Mia and Vincent. As long as we could find you a wig it would be super simple"

"You're going to make me wear a wig?" Jason laughs.

"Please. I really don't feel like dressing up a whole lot." Mandy says.

"Vicent and Mia it is." Jason smiles.

"Thank you." She says with a huge smile. "I think it will be cute. For once my fair skin and dark hair are helping me out."

"They helped me notice you right away." Jason says looking her up and down.

"Aw Jason."

The next day Jason got back from the store to find Mandy on a video call with Langly. She muted herself when he walked in. "Find one?"

"I did. How long is this going to take?" Jason asks pointing to her laptop.

"Unfortunately, a while." Mandy shakes her head. "You should probably go ahead without me. I'll come late."

"I'll wait." Jason says.

"No, that's stupid. You wouldn't want to make Naima mad; you know she will get you."

"Are you sure?" Jason confirms.

"I am. I love you. I'll see you when I get there. I need to get back to the meeting." Mandy says.

"Okay, I love." Jason says before walking out of her office.

Ray and Naima were in the kitchen preparing the food for the party when the doorbell rang. Jameelah jumped up from the couch. "Can I answer it?"

"Of course, Sweetie." Naima says.

"Uncle Sonny!" Jameelah yells as she opens the door to find Sonny standing on the other side.

"Hey there Jameelah. That's a pretty cool Dorothy costume ya got there."

Jameelah smiles. "Thanks Uncle Sonny. You look silly."

Sonny laughs as he walks into the house. "That's the point. When you're a grown up, Halloween is about bein funny."

"If you say so, Uncle Sonny." Jameelah says as she sits back down on the sofa.

Naima laughs as she takes in Sonny's choice of clothing, A cut off neon orange tank top and lime green short shorts. "What are you wearing, and did you really shave your beard into a ridiculous mustache for this?" She reaches out to hug him.

"That would be correct. And as I have already done told your daughter, this is what Halloween is for." Sonny says, ever sure of himself. "Plus, uh this look is gonna help me out after I leave here, if ya know what I mean."

"You're disgusting." Naima laughs.

"Don't hate the player." Sonny says while opening a beer. "Where's your lessor half?"

"Outside getting the grill ready." Naima says, nodding her head towards the back door.

"Ya mind if I head out there?" Sonny asks.

"We all know you're the grill master, have at it." She says.

"Yes, ma'am I am." Sonny says before walking out the door to the back yard. "Raymond."

"Sonny." Ray says without looking up. He finishes cleaning the grill and looks up at Sonny. "You would wear some dumb shit like that."

"Damn, does no one in this house like my costume." Sonny laughs. "The ladies of the house have already shot it down too."

"Can you really blame them? They aren't really your target audience." Ray counters.

"Ya know Ray, I ain't really sure how I feel about that statement."

"Pretty sure you'll get over it. Now, are you going to help me with the burgers or not?" Ray asks.

"Ya know I'm always here to help." Sonny says taking the spatula from Ray. "Go hang out with your family. I can grill some burgers unsupervised."

"Thanks brother." Ray says before heading back inside.

Clay and Rebecca are the next to arrive, walking in the front door. "Hey guys." Clay says.

"Hey Clay." Namia says while moving through the living room. "It's good to see you again. One last get together before you leave us?"

Clay awkwardly chuckles. "Yeah, something like that. Hi Jameelah, and who are you tonight."

Jameelah looks up from the TV. "I'm Dorthey, even Uncle Sonny knew that."

"Be nice Jameelah." Ray calls from the kitchen.

Without missing a beat Jameelah fires back at Ray. "I am. I was just telling Uncle Clay."

"I think you make a very pretty Dorthey." Rebecca ads in.

"Thank you." Jameelah says with a smile. "I like your costume too."

"Thank you very much." Rebecca says.

"How are we the first ones here?" Clay asks.

"You're not." Naima says pointing outside. "He showed up a little early to help Ray cook."

"Early and sober. He's a changed man." Clay laughs.

"It's weird when Sonny is becoming the reliable one." Ray jokes. "Then again, he does like to surprise you with how capable he is every once in a while."

"Raymond, you were just telling your daughter to be nice, don't you think you should take your own advice?" Naima says with a flat expression. "Besides you don't give him enough credit. Didn't he have a girlfriend for like a year? Isn't he always the first one to try and keep the team together or do it for the good of the team?"

"She has a soft spot for him." Ray says shaking his head. "You know women like fixer uppers."

"I did fall for you." Naima says shooting Ray a side glance.

"Uh oh, shots fired." Clay laughs.

"You're right you did baby, and I thank god for that every day." Ray says leaning over to kiss Naima.

"Want to go say hi to Sonny?" Clay asks Rebecca.

Rebecca shakes her head no. "I think I'll just stay in here and help Naim and Ray."

"Oh, okay. I'll be right back." Clay tells Rebecca before walking into the back yard. "Sonny, dude, really?"

"Listen here, mister I'm wearin a dress." Sonny shoots back.

"I'm a roman gladiator, revered by all and feared by many." Clay defends.

"Oh, is that how Rebecca talked ya into it or was it on the packagin?" Sonny counters as he finishes removing the first batch of burgers from the grill.

"I have one question, where's the rave?" Clay asks.

"Hopefully in some beautiful young woman's bedroom tonight." Sonny says with a chuckle.

"I know you swore off relationships after Davis broke your heart into a million little pieces, but don't you get sick of it... of the randoms?"

"Like ya said, I swore off relationships, so here I am."

"You know you're impossible to talk to sometimes." Clay says with a disapproving shake of his head.

"Yeah, yeah. Can ya do me a favor and take those burgers inside?" Sonny asks.

"You got it man." Clays says as he picks up the platter and heads back into the house. Clay and Davis walk into the living room at the same time. "Look at that, you showed up."

"And in a timely manner." Ray laughs as she walks out of the kitchen to greet her. "For some reason I thought you two had moved passed coordinated Halloween costumes."

Lisa looks at him puzzled. "What are you talking about?"

"Your boy." Ray says looking towards the back sliding door.

Daivs looks into the yard and sees Sonny. "Oh. I had no clue."

"Hold on a second, you and Sonny used to do couple costumes while not being a couple?" Clay asks, confused.

"Look it all started as a joke. We were a couple years into working together and the rumors about us had gotten really bad, so we decided to play it up, and, um it just kind of stuck."

"Wait, why haven't I gotten to see this?" Clay says.

"Because this is the first Halloween we have been home since you joined the team Clay Spencer." Lisa states.

Clay thinks for a minute. "Oh, wow it is."

"Let me go say hi to my 80's workout buddy." Lisa laughs as she heads towards the back door. She walks outside without Sonny hearing her and she watches him for a minute. She couldn't help but think just how ridiculous he looked, just as ridiculous as she felt. But damn he looked good. "Want me to make you smile."

Sonny looks up and takes in her hot pink leotard and aqua leggings and smiles. "Well Davis, just seein ya in all skintight spandex has already done that." Lisa rolls her eyes at him. "Okay, yes Lisa, make me smile."

"I'm fairly certain that Ray's eyes detached to allow them to roll completely back in his head when he saw that we had matching costumes. He even felt it necessary to comment on it."

"Oh really?" Sonny chuckles. 'Could Ray not just leave them alone?' "Ya know what that makes me want to do?"

"Please don't say punch him. I don't have the energy for all of that." Lisa says with a laugh.

Sonny shakes his head no. "It makes me want to do very dirty things to ya in his bed."

"If it wasn't his and Naima's bed, I might be game, but since it is, I am going to have to pass." Lisa says as she steps closer to him.

"That's too bad." Sonny responds. 'What is she doin?' He thinks, watching her move closer.

"You'll just have to do those very dirty things to me in your bed." Lisa purrs in his ear.

"It ain't nice to tease Lisa."

Davis steps back a couple of steps. "Who says I'm teasing you?"

"Oh, uh. I, I just thought we weren't doin that no more." Sonny stammers.

"I know we shouldn't..." Lisa trails off.

"But." Sonny pushes.

"But..." Lisa's response is cut short by Jason walking onto the deck. "How's everyone out here?"

"We're good Jace." Sonny says before turning back to the grill.

"I see you two are back to matching." Jason states as he looked between the two. He couldn't help but think something was up between the two.

"Great minds think alike, I guess." Lisa responds with a weak laugh.

"Burgers are all done." Sonny announces as he takes them off the grill.

"Hand me one of those plates Sonny." Jason says reaching for one of the platters.

When the three walk back inside they find the remainder of the team has arrived. "Sonny Quinn, the man with the meat." Trent laughs.

Sonny and Jason sit the platter of burgers on the counter. "They smell great." Rebecca says.

"Thank ya." Sonny responds. Still unsure of his feelings about Rebecca.

"They really do." Lisa says coming to stand next to Sonny. Her eyes land on Rebecca. "I don't think we have actually met yet, Lisa Davis."

"I think you're right, Rebecca Bowen. How are you connected to the team?"

"Now I'm offended, I thought Clay liked me enough to at least mention that I exist. I'm the team's intel officer." Lisa says.

"And the best one we ever had." Sonny butts in.

"Oh." Rebecca says as the light bulb goes off. "Clay always calls you Davis, I should have put two and two together."

"No worries. Trust me, this isn't the first time that has happened. I'm a girl in a boy's world." Lisa says as she puts her burger together.

"You handled it with such grace." Rebecca chuckles.

"That's our Davis." Jason laughs as he puts his hand on her shoulder. "Always there for us and never asks for anything in return."

"You know I hate it when you say that stuff." Lisa protests.

"Yeah, yeah, yeah." Jason says in a mocking tone.

"What are you supposed to be anyways?" Lisa asks.

"Ah, yeah it doesn't make a lot of sense until the other half gets here." Jason explains.

"The other half being a woman?" Lisa pushes.

"Don't act like you don't know. I know she tells you things, big things." Jason says.

Lisa smiles and nods, realizing what Jason was referring to. "Oh, you guys are going public tonight?" Lisa clarifies.

"We are. Figured we have hid it long enough." Jason smiles.

"Good. I'm happy for you guys. All of it?" Davis says.

"She doesn't want to get into all of that yet." Jason says.

"Ah, I don't blame her. I would probably feel the same way." Lisa says.

The group finds their seats and starts eating. Ray looks around the room when everyone is finished eating. "Who wants candy duty?

"Davis and I will do it. Right Davis?" Sonny pipes up when no one else does.

"Thanks for volunteering me Sonny. But yes, I would be more than happy to help you hand out candy." Lisa says.

"You really don't mind?" Naima asks.

"Really. Sonny and I can handle it." Lisa reassures her.

The front door opens, and everyone looks, "Miss Ellis, nice of you to join us this evening." Clay says.

"I don't appreciate the sarcasm Clay." Mandy shoots back. "I had a call I couldn't miss."

"Ah super-secret special agent stuff." Trent jabs.

"I would tell you, but then I would have to kill you." Mandy says with an evil smile as Jason come to stand next to her and wraps his arm around her waist.

"Mandy and I have something to tell you guys." Jason says looking around the room. "We are dating."

"That explains so much." Rays says as he shakes his head in disbelief.

"This is serious, you guys aren't just joking around with us, right?" Brocks asks.

"This is serious, very serious actually." Mandy responds.

Sonny leans over and whispers the Lisa. "Maybe Ray will leave us the hell alone now."

Lisa giggles to herself. "I wish, but doubtful."

Ray stands up and looks around the group. "On that note, is everyone ready to head out?"

Everyone agrees and stands. Jason kneels down to RJ. "You ready to go get some candy Mr. Fire fighter?" He asks as he picks him up.

"Candy, Uncle Jason." RJ says excitedly.

"Candy is very exciting." Mandy laughs as she rests her head on Jason's shoulder.

"We could have one of these before we know it." Jason says before kissing the top of Mandy's head.

"We could." Mandy agrees. "Do you want a boy or a girl?"

"Honestly, I just want to meet our child. I haven't really thought about it. What do you want?" Jason asks.

"I don't know. I think both have pros and cons. But this little fire fighter costume is adorable." Mandy says as she looks over Jason holding RJ, that was going to be their baby before they knew it.

"Let's go Uncle Jason." Jameelah says as she walks towards the front door.

"Alright. Are your parents ready?" Jason asks.

"Yes, we are coming." Naima calls as her a Ray walk towards the door.

"You want me to take him J?" Ray asks.

"No, I got him. Right RJ?" Jason asks.

"Right Uncle Jason."

Everyone heads out of the front door and to the first house. "Okay RJ are you ready to be a big boy and go get some candy?" Ray asks.

RJ nods yes. "Down you go then." Jasons says.

Mandy watches Ray take RJ's hand and head up the driveway. She laces her fingers through Jason's. "I'm glad I could make it."

"I'm glad you could make it too. And just think Mandy, next year we will have our own little one."

"It's crazy Jason."

As the group moves through the neighborhood Jason and Mandy walk hand in hand. "Hey boss catch." Trent says before throwing a football to Jason.

"Thanks Trent." Jason chuckles as he reaches to catch the ball. "Metal" He calls before throwing the football to him.

Ray drops his stride back to Jason and Mandy. "Remember when it was your kids we did this tricker treating parade with?"

"That seems like a lifetime ago Ray."

"It wasn't that long ago." Ray says when he notices Jason and Mandy whispering.

"You got to tell Davis. I get one tell too. He's my best friend Mandy."

"Okay, but he's it." Mand responds.

"It will be my kid again soon." Jason says, waiting for the light bulb to go off.

"Wait, what?" Ray asks looking between Jasonn and Mandy. "Are you pregnant?"

Mandy nods yes. "But we aren't telling people yet. You're the only person Jason is telling until we announce it."

"Holy crap. You're having another kid?" Ray says to Jason.

"I am. I get a second chance at being a Dad Ray. I never thought I would have another, but here I am."

"How long have you two been together anyways?" Ray asks.

"About halfway through deployment." Mandy says.

"Remember that night we were talking about the tole the job takes and then I just disappeared?" Jason asks and Ray nods his head yes. "That was the night it started."

"Wow. I'm happy for you guys. Both of you disserve to be happy." Ray says.

"Thanks Ray." Mandy says.

"We are going to move it back to the house." Naima announces to the group.

Mandy whispers in Jason's ear. "She is going to keep being the organizer, right?"

Jason chuckles. "I'm sure she will."

"Good, because I don't have that in me."

"Let me get this straight, you can organize an entire black site op, but not a Halloween party?" Jason asks.

"Those are two completely separate things." Mandy says matter of factly.

"Oh, I see." Jason laughs.

"I'm ready to go home when we get back to the house." Mandy states. Jason nods in agreement.

Jason and Mandy walk through the front door of her apartment. "You're right. Everyone was really happy for us."

"I told you they would be." Jason says as he wraps his arms around her waist, pulling her close. Mandy pushes his blazer off his shoulders. "Am I imagining things?"

"No. I'm actually in the mood." Mandy says as she takes the bolo tie from around Jason's neck and starts to unbutton his shirt.

"Well, let's not waste that." Jason says as they move towards the bedroom. Jason unbuttons her shirt and pushes it off her shoulders. "My god you're beautiful."

"Thank you" She mumbles as their lips meet again. Mandy reaches for his belt buckle and undoes it.

"Lay down." Jason commands.

"Nothing extravagant. I would like to go to sleep soon." Mandy says as she watches him pull off his shirt and pants.

"Fine, have it your way." Jason says as he reaches for her pants. In one swift motion Jason has her pants and panties off. "Words can't explain how much I want this."

"I can see that." Mandy says, sitting up and reaching for Jason's hard member. "I'm so ready for you Jason."

"Yeah? You want me deep inside you?" Jason asks as she moves Mandy up on the bed.

"I do Jace. So deep."

"Good." Jason captures her lips and pushes slowly into her. "God you feel so good."

"Oh Jason." Mandy moans, her hands roaming his back and shoulders. "Mmm Jace, don't stop."

Jason leans down and kisses her again. "Look at me." He waits for her to look at him. "I love you Mandy."

Mandy smile, she felt it. She felt the love, the way he looked at her. "I love you too." She feels her body start to contract.

Jason continues until he is overtaken but his climax. He flops on the bed next to her. "I don't know about you Mandy, but I needed that babe."

"I actually did too. Thank you for being patinate with me, I know I haven't been as fun as normal." Mandy says as she rolls onto her side to look at Jason.

"Amanda, don't you dare." Jason plants a kiss on her forehead. "You get to be whatever you want; you're growing our baby."

"You're the best Jason." Mandy says as she runs her fingers through his hair and kisses him.

"You're pretty damn awesome too." Jason chuckles. He reaches behind him and pulls the covers over them.

"I'm going to go to sleep now." Mandy mumbles.

"Good night sweetie." Jason holds her a little tighter.
