Midoriya found himself clutched tightly by a hand that pulled him free of the portal. Weightless, he flew into the waiting arms of Uraraka, who quickly released him, the two teens similarly wide-eyed at their vanished friends.
"Sorry, I tried to grab some of the others, but I was right next to you, so I got you in time." Ochako mumbled, the green-haired hero-in-training breathing heavily.
No, no, no, it wasn't supposed to be like this!' Looking around, only he and Uraraka had survived the villain's opening attack as well as Thirteen, who didn't seem to be targeted in the first place, the misty villain not deeming her a threat.
"Hmm, it seems a couple of you avoided my attack? No matter, I'm more than capable of handling a few children and The Stay Puft Marshmallow Man!" Kurogiri roared, swelling in size as he sought to swallow the remaining students.
"I am neither Marshmallow nor Man!" Thirteen protested, ruining the combative tone as the others looked at her with deadpan looks.
"No offense sensei, but that comeback sucked." Ochako stated, Midoriya nodding in agreement.
"That's not the only thing that sucks: Blackhole!" Thirteen declared, the tip of her suit opening as it started to vacuum up Kurogiri's smoky body.
"Your trash talk needs work, as does your fighting!" The Warp Gate user yelled, a wispy portal appearing behind Thirteen, his intent clear.
"Sensei, look out!" Izuku yelled, his foot sparking with lightning as he plowed into the space suited hero, managing to knock her out of the way of her redirected Quirk. Unfortunately, that put him right in the line of fire as the left side of his costume was turned to dust in a second, along with several wounds ripping open on him before Thirteen shut off her Quirk.
"Deku! Are you alright?" Uraraka yelled, sprinting to his side, Kurogiri waiting off to the side, apparently content not to attack right now, merely waiting for the heroes to make a move.
"Midoriya, I'm so sorry. He used my Quirk against us." Thirteen apologized.
"Don't worry, I'll be okay. Wish I could say the same for my mom's hard work, but we still have to get by him." Izuku grunted, glaring at the smoking villain still watching them.
"I really must thank you for allowing me this chance to go all out. It is difficult for me to create pinpoint gates at such range, but you've given me more than enough time!" Kurogiri roared, black portals littering the area around them.
Whatever they'd been expecting, a massive tongue of fire erupting towards the trio wasn't on the list.
Diving aside with a yelp, Midoriya barely had time to think before a boulder crashed into the ground beside him, or at least it would've, if a new portal didn't open, swallowing it whole, as the same boulder shot out of another gate, nearly crushing Thirteen, who was on her back from a wave of water that knocked her down.
She considered using her Quirk again, but this villain had already proven how foolhardy that was.
Uraraka, however, was managing to avoid the spontaneous attacks with inches to spare, possibly because she wasn't the target of his focus like Thirteen, nor injured like Deku. However, a step towards the villain dissuaded her from pressing the attack and let her know that he was paying attention to her as well, as a garbage can shot out like missile, bouncing across the ground as she jumped away.
Deku rolled away, managing to avoid yet another crate that smashed into the ground, wooden shards littering the ground. His toe screamed with pain with every move, but his adrenaline more than quashed it.
Thirteen had it the worst, while Kurogiri was keeping both Izuku and Ochako busy, he was actively hunting and trapping the Pro Hero. She'd never cursed, and been more grateful for, the size of her space suit, while it had small cuts and rips on it, her real body was more than safe inside.
The same couldn't be said for the ground around her, numerous blades buried in the stonework, axe heads embedded inches from her, arrows falling like rain as she was forced to dodge the attacks, more small tears appearing with each wave.
Kurogiri paused for a moment, apparently tired of the heroes dodging his attack as most of the portals vanished, or rather gathered together into a massive version, aiming squarely at Deku who was wincing at his every move.
"You are proving to be more of a nuisance, heroes! I wonder how you'll handle this?" Kurogiri roared, his next attack shocking everyone as a bomb large enough to dwarf a car launched from the mist.
"Deku!" Ochako yelled, her hand outstretched in worry.
The aforementioned verdette was staring his probable death in the face, the bomb approaching in slow motion as his brain went into overdrive.
'I have to dodge it! But... would that really make a difference, a bomb that big would explode as soon as it hit the ground, and there's no way I could get out of the blast radius, and Thirteen and Uraraka too! I have no choice; I'll have to use One-for-All at full power and hope I can blow it away!' Midoriya thought, his familiar lightening overtaking his arm as the sleeve of his costume tore, red veins crawling across his skin as he prepared to take the blow head on.
Only for the bomb to start disintegrating in front of him, Thirteen's fingers open as her Blackhole attempted to breakdown the bomb in time.
"No, sensei!" Both students yelled, the ruse all too clear to them as Kurogiri pounced on the opportunity.
"I told you; your battlefield awareness needs work!" He declared, a massive portal blocking Thirteen's view of the bomb as she felt her skin being torn open, her spacesuit not holding up even a second her the power of her own Quirk's destructive capabilities.
"Sorry, he got me. Run away students." Were the last words uttered by Thirteen as she collapsed to the ground, her Quirk managing to shut off in time before it killed her, but any permanent damage would have to be seen too.
Both Uraraka and Izuku were by her side in seconds, tears pouring from the boy's face as he glared hatefully at the black misty villain, who simply watched them in silence.
"Is something the matter, Izuku Midoriya?" Kurogiri's baritone echoed in the now silent entrance way, the partially disassembled bomb retreating into a portal.
"You won't get away with this you monster! All Might will stop you!" Midoriya declared, clenching his fist as he stared down the warping villain.
"Oh, and how is he going to stop us, when he doesn't even know we're here. I doubt you can cry loud enough that he can hear you. Although... I'm feeling generous now that my mission has been completed. I'll allow you to leave." Kurogiri said, moving aside as he revealed the door behind him.
His shock must have been visible on his face as Kurogiri laughed, a booming laughter to shook Deku to his core. "I don't believe you." He whispered, although Kurogiri must have heard him.
"Whether you believe me or not, the question is really rather simple... can you afford not to get help?"
'If he's telling the truth, then what's their plan? I guess they still need All Might to show up so they can kill him, but if I leave, Uraraka will have to fight hm alone, while guarding Thirteen's body! I can't just leave her like that! But...' Deku was deep in thought as the villain watched patiently.
"Heroes have so much to protect... I wonder whose life you value the most?" Kurogiri wondered aloud, eyes watching over the plaza and beyond.
Todoroki reacted in an instant as the fiery landscape revealed itself to him, no doubt he'd been sent to the Conflagration Zone.
He prepared to unleash his ice to ensure a safe landing when a spongy pink tether wrapped around his torso, pulling him to safety. Said tether happened to be Tsuyu's tongue as she reeled him towards her, the figure of Tokoyami standing next to her.
"So you were sent here too, Todoroki. We arrived only moments ago, but it already feels scorching in here." Tokoyami observed as the bicolored boy landed, Tsu retracting her tongue most of the way, a tiny blep visible as she gave a soft pant.
"Are you okay? Were you injured when you arrived?" Todoroki inquired, unintentionally pressing the ranine girl who shook her head.
"No, I'm fine. My body just gets dried out fast with all this heat, the villains have done their research about how to put us at a disadvantage." Tsuyu observed, Todoroki considering the chance.
"It's possible, but I'd want more evidence before we assume that. It isn't difficult to guess you're a frog just from looking at you, they could've made the decision in the moment. My Quirk allows me to eject fire from my body, as well as ice, so if they've done any research, they'd know that." Todoroki reasoned, not mentioning that he refused to use said Fire Quirk, not only for the reasons attached, but it wasn't as if that was listed in his Quirk registration. The only way they'd know that is from someone close to the dual elemental boy.
"Hmm, I'm afraid I'd have to side with Tsuyu, Dark Shadow is at a distinct disadvantage in this environment. He grows weaker every second from all this light." Tokoyami stated, wiping away a thick sweat that dripped down his head.
"Then let's-" Whatever Tsuyu had been about to say was cut off as a blur slammed into her, sending the girl flying. The two boys barely had more time to react, the blur hitting Tokoyami hard enough to rob him of breath, the cloaked boy vanishing into the surrounding flames. Going for Todoroki last, he had just enough time, to brace himself as he was sent flying from what definitely felt like a shoe to his gut.
Recovering quickly, the boy had plenty of experience getting slugged in the stomach, he swung an arm out, a small wave of ice knifing towards their assailant.
"You were able to recover that quickly? And retaliated while being sent flying?" The blur said, vanishing in... well a blur as she reappeared next Todoroki, a fist nailing him in the face as he bounced across the ground, skidding to a stop.
Forcing himself to his feet, he got a good look at their attacker. She was beautiful, not in a sexual way, but the same way one might find a panther or lioness beautiful, she moved with grace, her lean muscle rippling in the firelight, her pink hair was pulled back in a braid and she was wearing little clothes, only biking shorts and a sports bra leaving her uncovered to the fires surrounding her.
Her skin seemed to almost glow an incandescent pink as she smirked, rocketing towards him. "Hello cutie, my name's Rose, and I'll be your dance partner today." She purred in an accent similar to Aoyama's.
Tsu jumped back into the fight, her tongue lashing against Rose like a whip, earning a snarl from the woman.
"Ughh, disgusting beast, the humans were talking!" She snarled, blurring as she sprinted towards Tsu, Todoroki intercepting her tis time as she spun around, her heel colliding with his crossed arms, sending him flying back.
"Todoroki!" Tsu called, her tongue extending as it wrapped around him, only for Rose to take the chance to appear next to her, a quick trio of punches reversing their roles as Todoroki caught the frog girl, cushioning her fall as he rolled across the ground, letting her go as they both got up.
Rose slowly walked through the flames, her form shimmering with heat as she looked at the pair, already breathing heavily.
Todoroki launched yet another wave of ice at her, but the surrounding heat weakened it as she dodged easily, almost dancing across the ground as she went for a powerful haymaker.
Luckily, a black bird appeared between the two, taking the hit as Tokoyami emerged from a column of fire, his cloak singed but mostly unhurt.
"Another one! All these animals keep interrupting our dance, mon Cherie." Rose snarled, racing at a surprised Tokoyami, who quickly found himself being battered by the angry female.
Dark Shadow managed to block some of the attacks, but he was quickly being worn down by her blistering speed. Finally, he managed to stop a brutal punt, but it only served as a foothold as she twisted in the air, landing a scissor kick that turned the bird boy into a human missile, destroying a burning piece of wall as it collapsed around him.
Eager to finish the fight, she leapt into the air, coming down with a curb stomp to end him, only for Dark Shadow to once again take the hit, robbing her of her momentum.
Gritting her teeth, she tried to finish Tokoyami off, only for a creeping cold feeling alert her as she spotted ice covering her leg. It was barely able to restrain her, the ambient heat of her body turning it into mist quickly, but it served its purpose as Tsu appeared through the fire, a double footed dropkick knocking the villain away as Tsuyu crouched protectively over Tokoyami's form as the boy struggled to maintain consciousness, his head bleeding as Tsu helped him to his feet.
"Asui, take Tokoyami and get out of here!" Todoroki ordered as he stood between Rose and the two students.
"What, no Todoroki, you can't fight her alone. Besides, I don't know where the exit is, it makes more sense for us to work together to knock her out, and then escape together." Tsu argued.
"As much as it irritates me, the beast is right. You haven't got a chance of running away from me here. My Quirk lets me convert all this heat into kinetic energy, making me a hundred times faster than normal." Rose revealed, cracking her neck as she crouched down, readying herself to charge the now duo of heroes-in-training.
"Hmm, then if I freeze you enough, you'll slow down?" Todoroki fished for information, after all that was one of his lessons, get a villain to talk and reveal information that could be useful later.
"Haha, as if, even if you covered the ground with your pathetic Ice Quirk, it wouldn't change anything! This entire Zone's gas system to keep the fires burning is interconnected, cover up a few dozen holes, and all the gas will simply reroute, making all the other flames grow hotter. You'd have to cover every square inch of this 100-meter area with ice to have a chance of beating me!" Rose declared as Todoroki nodded, Tsu narrowing her eyes behind him as she carefully laid Tokoyami on the ground, preparing herself to fight.
"You're awfully chatty, I don't suppose you'll tell us how you plan on killing All Might, because quite frankly, I'm not that impressed yet." Todoroki taunted as Rose, growled, a cocky smirk on her face. "No, that's okay," Todoroki answered himself, extending his right arm as cold, icy mist started to pour forth, "I'll get the answer from you, one way or another." He stated coldly.
"You're welcome to try, Cherie!" She vanished in a blur of heat.
Thunder rumbled overhead as Mina stumbled out of the portal that had consumed her, the pinky's balance allowing her to keep her feet under her as both Yaomomo and Jiro joined her, the rocker having to catch herself on Momo's arm as she almost felt to the ground.
"What's going on? Are we seriously getting attacked by villains?" Mina questioned, her voice trembling at the thought of having to fight real bad guys.
"I don't know, but that thunder is killing my head. I'm glad I chose leather for my costume; you must be freezing Yaoyorozu." Jiro pointed out, wincing as another roll of thunder sounded in her head like a stampede of wild animals.
"I'm fine, this isn't nearly as bad as our trip to Antarctica to see penguins, but thanks for your concern, Jiro." Momo assured the girl as Mina gasped, spotting something nearby.
"Toru! Oh God! Are you okay?!" Mina shouted, racing towards the pair of gloves and shoes laying nearby, unmoving.
"Hey, be careful Ashido, we don't know-" Momo started, only to have to catch herself, both verbally and physically as her foot stopped in place, refusing to lift from the ground.
Looking down, she could barely see the issue, she'd stepped on a small blob, anchoring her in place. Looking around, she spotted numerous other balls everywhere, on walls, the ground, even on street poles nearby.
"Toru, are you okay? Please wake up!" Mina cried, worry flooding her body as she reached her friend's side, reaching for where her back should be to awaken her, only to touch the wet ground. "Oh, thank God, it's just her clothes, she must have taken them off." Mina reasoned, not paying attention as a flash of lightning backlit a small figure nearby, who vanished into the darkness.
"What's wrong Yaoyorozu, did you think of something?" Jiro asked as Momo looked around, trying to find the source of the strange balls.
"{It's these balls, they're everywhere, and I assume they're part of someone's Quirk, but all they seem to do is stick to things. Look out!" Momo called, Jiro reacting in a moment as her jacks plugged into her amps, sending a sound wave that knock several more balls to the ground, where they stuck instantly.
"It may be a simple Quirk, but it's perfect for capturing sexy heroes like you." A voice chuckled in the dark, a second flash of lightning illuminating the street as a small boy, bounced across the balls, slamming into Jiroo as she was sent back, landing on a number of balls.
"Jiro! Ashido, come here! We're being attacked, we have to stick close!" Momo had to yell to be heard over the pouring rain, the idea of creating a megaphone briefly entered her mind, but she discarded it, no need to use up her lipids that quickly on a temporary problem.
A temporary problem that got worse as she felt the small boy ram into her, giving a hearty smack to her rear, red covering her face as the boy danced away from her hasty punch.
"The perfect amount of jiggle to muscle, perky tits, narrow waist, definitely the body of grade A breeding material!" The boy commented perversely, standing still long enough for Momo to get a good look at him.
Dark hair pulled back in a bushy, messy bun that hung down slightly, long gloves that would've flared out, were it not for the bands of balls around each wrist, a matching set holding his boots in place. A dark olive-green scarf that transitioned outwards into a coat, the sleeves tucked into his gloves. A thick corded belt held up cream pants, the legs tucked neatly into his boots. Most of his face was covered by the scarf, much like Mr. Aizawa.
"A spectacular pair, DD, maybe even E-cup, and you're still growing." The boy noted as he flipped into the air.
"Leave her alone!" Jio shouted, her earphone jacks swiping through the air as the boy dodged, two balls in his hands as he attached them to the ends of her jacks, landing softly on her chest as he pinned them to the ground, further restraining the rocker.
"Hmm, a tsundere pettanko, a classic among waifus." He observed, closely looking at her face as she growled at him, tempted to spit in his face, but she couldn't get the angle with her head pinned down. "Excellent bone structure, I can tell given a few years, you're going to be an absolute stunner. It's too bad about the rocker aesthetic, you have the perfect body for idol work." He commented, vanishing in a second, as Mina's boot appeared in his place, narrowly missing the fleeing boy.
He landed momentarily on Momo's chest, using her boobs as a springboard to launch himself towards several balls on a wall, bouncing further before perching atop a lamp pole.
"Get back here you pervert!" Mina yelled over the pouring rain and resounding thunder.
"I resent that accusation! I'm not a pervert; I'm a connoisseur of the finest works of art in the entire world: the female body! Jiggly boobs, bubble butts, toned abs, DSLs, pigtail, squishy thighs, sweaty armpits, smooth arches, thicc thots, prideful pettankos, curvy babes, slim models, amazonian athletes, animalistic heteromorphs, shortstacks, tomboys, exotic foreigners, MILFs, virgins, lesbians, goths, meganes, even futanari! All women are beautiful! All women are amazing! The female body is the greatest work of art in the entire world, handcrafted by God himself, and like all great works of art, they're meant to be appreciated and experienced!" The boy declared to the world as the trio of girls blinked dumbly at him before Mina charged, hurling acid that splashed uselessly against the ground as the assailant dodged.
He landed a kick in her stomach that knocked her back, but she recovered in a second, the pervert's attack carrying very little power as she landed on her hands, swinging her leg around in a devastating windmill kick that rattled his brain, the pink girl growling as she pressed her attack.
"Like I said, a filthy pervert!"
He shook off the pain, leaping away as he threw a barrage of balls at her, hoping to restrain the dancer, who skated on her acid after him, twisting her body in the air as she dodged every ball, her superior flexibility showing.
"You're one to talk! A gyaru like you, flaunting your thicc body, I bet every guy in school wanted to be your friend! Your body is practically poured into that bodysuit, and you didn't even bother with a bra or panties! I can see your nipples and a cameltoe!" He shouted, stunning Mina as she covered her chest, the boy whipping off a chain of balls from his hair as he threw them at her.
"Grape Vine!" The rope of balls wrapped around her legs like a bola, knocking her to the ground as she cried in pain, the roadway digging into her face. "Now then, I have business to attend to, and babes to ogle!" he shouted, jumping away as Mina grunted in pain, bringing her hands down to the rope of balls, thick acid pouring forth as her bonds started to sizzle.
Meanwhile, back with Momo and Jiro, the busty heroine managed to slip her feet out of her heels, freeing her from the sticky balls. She shivered for a moment as cold rainwater washed over her feet before crouching down to inspect the other balls littered around, careful not to touch them lest she be recaptured.
'You've got to do something Momo! You're their Class Representative now, that means it's up to you to protect and save them!' She thought, an unsavory plan filling her head as she glanced further down the street, seeing a tiny speck approaching in the distance, reminding her of a flea.
"You can do this Momo. Jiro's already been caught, and if he's coming back, then he's probably beaten Mina s well, you can't afford to hold back now." Momo muttered, mentally preparing herself.
The boy jumped closer, his eyes widening as he spotted the spiky haired babe standing in the middle of the road, seemingly gesturing him closer.
"Come here, I've got a special surprise just for you." Momo moaned, wiggling her chest as she fiddled with the inner edges, teasing him.
It made her ill, to act this way, attempting to seduce a villain, but he'd already proven to be physically faster and more capable with his Quirk than them, she needed him to drop his guard, and like it or not, she had just the things to get the job done.
He didn't think twice as he leapt towards her, arms outstretched to fondle her chest as she peeled away her leotard, a bright light shining on her boobs!
'Wait, where did that light come from, I can't see anything!' Was all he could think before a large net erupted from her chest, tangling him up instantly as he landed on the ground, the thick net stuck on some his scattered balls as he struggled to get free, only for a reclothed Momo to bring a metal staff down on his head, over and over again until he passed out with a pained moan.
"Oh wow, you got him Class rep, just like the Battle Trial, I knew you'd have a plan." Mina cheered as she raced up behind him, literally using the boy as a steppingstone as she bounded closer, Momo frowning as she fidgeted with her clothes, a dirty feeling still clinging to her.
Ignoring the cheerful pink-haired girl, she turned away, walking towards Jiro, who was having to hold her breath as rain covered her face, careful not to accidently drown herself. Not upset by the unintentional diss, Mina picked up the pair of gloves nearby on the ground.
"I hope you're okay Toru, wherever you ended up." Mina prayed for her best friend.
Kirishima yelped as he fell out of a portal, splashing into deep water as he spluttered, trying to hold his breath as he looked around.
The first thing he spotted as a large maw of teeth coming straight at him as he activated his Hardening, his skin turning rock-like as the sharklike villain tried to take a bite out of him, but only succeeded in hurting himself as he swam away, nursing his now sore jaw.
Unfortunately, Kirishima's Quirk caused him to sink faster, forcing the boy to kick his legs as hard as he could to get back to the surface, breaking it with a deep breath as he spotted Iida and Kaminari floating nearby, with Bakugo hovering overhead, a quick series of pops and crackles keeping him aloft.
A small wave of water crashed into the three boys, Kirishima and Iida managing to weather the blow well enough, but Kaminari tried to fight back, a electrical charge shooting through the water as both boys groaned in pain, but judging form the few bodies that floated up, the attack had been successful.
Not to be discouraged, several more villains appeared, attacking the boys with things from ink shots to a heavy trident that would've impaled anyone but Kirishima! One girl even charged in, swiping at Iida, who barely managed to get his armored leg up to block, the attack leaving a deep trench in the metal as the girl swam away.
"Bakugo, since you're not stuck in the water, head back to the plaza and see if you can find someone with a more useful Quirk, like Asui!" Iida yelled up, the blonde Explosion user growling in challenge.
"What the hell do you mean, more useful, you saying I'm useless?" Bakugo snarled, almost losing his hovering as his explosions flared unevenly.
"No," Iida corrected, choosing his words carefully, "I'm saying Asui would be very useful in the water, while you go fight someone else, like that villain blocking the exit, he was standing with the leader, so he's got to be strong! I'd go myself, but my Quirk doesn't work well while I'm floating like this, I just spin around!" Iida yelled as Bakugo seemed to think about it, before nodding angrily.
As much as he hated it, the Somei prick was right, better he go fight the strongest villain he could.
As he went to jet away, however, he heard the taunting voice below him, "What's the matter, you trying to run away coward?" You so scared you don't even wanta fight us." A nasally voice said. Bakugo couldn't see who it was, but he'd blow up all these villains until he found the culprit, and then they'd pay!
"What'd you say, you buncha weaklings!" He roared, turning to charge the water as he slammed into it, unleashing an explosion that sent water everywhere, but only seemed to make noise.
Before he could pull back, tentacles surrounded him, grappling him as an octopus villain tried to pull him into the water. Once he was in the water with them, his explosions would start losing power, and they'd could dogpile him.
Bakugo wasn't about to let that happen as he fired on all thrusters, lifting into the air slowly as he dragged the octopus out of the water, even aiming one hand right at his face as he blasted him and gained some height in the same attack.
"Yeah, take that you octopussy! Bakugo declared his dominance.
"No, just ignore them Bakugo, do you seriously care what a bunch of villains say?" Iida pointed out, but the ashen blonde ignored him, blasted higher into the air as another wave came crashing down, rising like a tidal wave as Bakugo raced to get over it, not eager to be dragged down into the water.
He barely made it, the water crashing into his lower body, but with a well-timed explosion, it scattered the water around, allowing him to pass through mostly unharmed.
The same couldn't be said for the boys still in the water as the wave descended upon them, burying them under the water effortlessly.
Kirishima came up spluttering, taking deep breathes as he tried to spot Kaminari and Iida. He spotted Kaminari nearby, but he couldn't spot the bespeckled boy anywhere.
What he did spot, was the girl from earlier, now much clearer, lips accentuated in a pout, and a thick tail propelling her through the water, much like a beaver. He also spotted a long claw on her feet, clearly aimed to wound Kaminari as she approached.
"Look out!" Kirishima yelled, having to accept he couldn't swim at all really with his Quirk active, he had to dive in front of the electric blonde, hastily Hardening as the girl's spur dug into him, leaving a bloody track on his chest as she retreated slightly.
"As that ALL!" Kirishima tried to taunt, only for a wave of fiery agony to dig into his chest, the girl smirking with her duck bill lips.
"My Quirk is named Platypus after the amazing creature down under! I can do all the things a platypus can, like use with bioelectricity to insulate myself against that one's attacks, and my spurs are covered in a hydrotoxin, which makes your nerves hypersensitive. Too much, and you'll even start to swell up like a balloon, you wanker!" The girl said, proud of her Quirk as Kirishima was rocked with wave after wave of pain, every move sending a new wave through his body.
"Oh Gods, do you ever shut up?" A second voice asked, a second villain rising to the surface as he held a currently choking Iida within a sphere of water, before slamming him into the water, no doubt robbing him of any breath as Kirishima tried to focus in on him, but he couldn't make out any features.
"Water Piercing Fang!" The voice shouted, a large sword of water hitting Kirishima, the red-haired boy screaming in agony as a massive slash opened on his torso, connecting his collarbone to his hip, perfectly bisecting his costume as he was lifted off his feet and thrown backwards, skipping across the water before arresting his momentum as he slammed into a boat, cracking it as his vision began to swim from the pain.
"You want more, then drown in your misery, you reject!" The man yelled, the biggest wave yet swelling behind him as Kirishima was helpless to move, the wave slamming into him and dragging him under the water.
He tried to fight back, to swim, but every move hurt, his chest was leaking blood. He was scared, his thoughts drifting to that day he renewed his courage to be a hero, but it wasn't like it could help him here. No matter how hard he could try to get, even if he could somehow cut off the blood flow by hardening further than before, it would only drag him down faster.
And as the light overhead got smaller, and smaller, his eyes drifting closed, all he could think was, 'Someone, Mr. Aizawa, All Might, anyone, please help, I'm scared.'
Shoji extended his webbed arms out, slowing his fall as he left the portal, the ground approaching at a moderate rate. As he landed, Sato crashed near him, taking the impact in a superhero landing, barely bending his knees from the force.
"Where is everyone? Did we get separated?" Sato asked with a slight groan, now regretting his choice of landing as he dusted himself off.
"Hmm," Shoji replied, his arms extending upwards and outwards in a growing array of sensory organs. His eyes spotted an increasing number of black portals near the entrance, whoever had survived the opening attack must have engaged the villain in that area. Looking towards the central plaza, Mr. Aizawa appeared to be in a heated battle with a single enemy who reminded Shoji of Iida or Aoyama, the flashing metal catching his eyes.
Looking further afield, Bakugo's telltale explosions were audible from the water temple, and for just a moment, Shoji thought he spotted the bright flash of lightning that accompanied Kaminari. Moving on, Shoji had to strain his ears as he thought he heard Shinso's voice coming from the nearby collapsed skyscraper. "Can anyone hear me?"
"Ye..."
...
...
... "You okay Shoji?" Sato's hand on his shoulder awoke the boy from his daze as he turned to face the sugar-powered hero.
"Sorry, I must have been so concentrated on finding our fellow classmates." Shoji apologized. "Also, I can hear you, you can stop hiding and come out." He ordered, one of his arms ending in a mouth.
"Hehe, PROSTRATE YOURSELVES HEROES FOR YOU STAND IN THE PRESCENCE OF POWER!" A feminine voice declared, a young blonde girl with a small set of red horns extending from her head pointing a bloodied knife confidently at the pair of boys. Their only response was for Shoji to replace his numerous eyes and ears with hands, and Sato to uncap one of his capsules of sugar, swallowing it like a shot as his muscles bulged.
Rather than continue the banter, one of the villains, a rocky one with four arms charged Shoji, one arm pulled back for a powerful punch. Before he got near him, Sato met him with a full-on shoulder check, sending him tumbling across the ground into a nearby boulder. A second villain, a pair of curling bull horns pointed to the sky, jumped on Sato from behind, trying to catch the musclebound boy in a chokehold. Sato merely flexed, breaking the villain's hold, and spun around, slamming a haymaker into the minotaur-like villain's face, robbing him of consciousness.
Shoji's heightened senses caught the sound of someone coming from behind, spinning around to slap away a knife that was aimed from his back. Taking advantage of the blonde girl's surprise, he grabbed her by the wrist, intending to hurl her to the ground.
"Wow, twice in one day, I must be slipping." She purred, her hand turning into a gray viscous liquid. Now it was Shoji's turn to be caught off-guard as he jumped back, the girl catching her knife in her offhand, slashing it through the air with precision, leaving a dripping red wound across on of his hands as she back sprung away behind a rock. Shoji listened closely, but he couldn't hear her at all, no wonder she'd seemed so surprised he'd caught her twice.
He clenched his fist tightly; glad it was a hand and not something more sensitive at the time. Glancing to check on Sato, he spotted a bald villain charge the sucrose hero, meeting one of Sato's powerful haymakers with a headbutt that knocked both back several meters.
"Hey, eyes over here buddy!" A nasally woman ordered, a reedy villain with hands ending in long scythes similar to a mantis came at Shoji, swinging wildly.
Shoji moved faster than his large body implied, sweeping her feet out from under her, taking advantage of her stunned state, he grabbed her by the leg and used her like a human missile, hurling her into her compatriot, he didn't move in time, knocking them both down and giving the boys time to catch their breath.
"You okay Sato?" "RRRAAAGGHHH" Was the only answer as he grabbed a second capsule, downing it as he charged forward like a bull, pressing his power advantage, the hardheaded villain managing to intercept with a hasty headbutt that still sent him reeling.
The mantis recovered just in time to roll out of the way of Sato's follow-up attack that left a small crater in the ground, snarling as she came back with a vengeance, her arms a whirling dervish of blades as Shoji was forced back, the female villain determinized not to be caught a second time.
Meanwhile with the muscleheads, they continued to clash head to fist multiple times, blast waves visible from their impacts before with a triumphant YHAMP, Sato drove a titanic uppercut into the hardheaded villain, lifting him off his feet and sending him hurtling away.
Sato gave a roar of victory, throwing his arms into the air in victory before being sent to his knees by a haymaker courtesy of the four-armed villain, now recovered. Before Sato could recover, he interlocked his two upper arms, bringing them down in a brutal hammer blow on the back of Sato's head, nearly knocking some sense back into the boy.
While he was down on his knees, winded both from the back-to-back blows as well as the recoil of his own Quirk, heteromorphic villain endeavored to knock him out, stomping forwards and landing an uppercut that lifted Sato off his feet, causing him to see stars.
"SATO!" Shoji yelled, racing to his friend's side.
"Not so fast boy!" The mantis-like woman said, appearing behind him and bringing both blades down in an X-motion, ripping open the back of Shoji's costume and spraying blood across the rocky ground.
Still, the multiarmed hero student held on, turning back to his opponent as he pulled all six arms back, slamming them into the villain's chest as she was sent flying, crashing to the ground unmoving in pain.
Still, it delayed him long enough for Sato to slowly get back to his feet, gritting his teeth as he tried to focus. Roaring in anger, he tried to throw another punch to finish off his enemy, only for the rocky villain to catch his fist with two hands, holding him back. Seeing that the villain was shaking, however, Sato fumbled for a third sugar pack, managing to swallow it through clenched teeth as he gave a barbaric roar, standing to his feet as he put his full weight and power into the punch.
Which was why he was totally caught off-balance when the hulking villain he was facing turned into a small blonde girl, his powerful punch dragging him forwards as the girl gave a fiendish grin, her tightly clenched hand around a long stiletto-like blade that sunk into his gut as he coughed up a gout of blood.
