At the Weasley's home, the Burrow

The Burrow was a house that couldn't exist without magic. Instead of being a proper house with floors and rooms, the Burrow was built differently. Initially the house was just a simple two floor house with a huge kitchen, a dining table and a modest living room on the ground floor with 3 bedrooms and a common bathroom on the upper floor. The house was a gift from Arthur's father, Septimus Weasley. It was the wedding gift to Arthur and Molly from the Weasley's. From Molly's family, the Prewett's, they had gotten a special magical clock. The clock was unlike regular clocks. This clock had arms with name of people, of whom the clock kept track of. Whether they were in Hogwarts, working, travelling or doing anything, as long as it was marked on the clock, the arms would be resting on that spot. It was the highlight of their living room.

In few months, Arthur and Molly had their first son, William "Bill" Weasley. Soon, Charlie, Percy, Fred and George, Ron and Ginny were born. And as they were born, Arthur expanded the Burrow By adding rooms above the first floor. But they weren't added in the conventional way. Arthur didn't have all the materials required and made do with whatever he had. Using magic, he only added rooms and staircase. And that led to Burrow getting the look it had now.

Along with the house, the Burrow also included a small farm, and a chicken coop. An orchard was there after the fence and a pond was nearby, where the kids went for swimming. As the kids began growing and began getting interested in quidditch, Arthur made a small quidditch pitch for the kids. He also added a small garage to the house, where he stored all his interesting muggle things and worked a lot of time.

While Arthur was responsible for all these, it was Molly who ran the household. While Arthur worked in the ministry, she looked after the kids and managed the household. However, a big problem they had was that Arthur's position at Ministry wasn't as good paying as they would have liked. With the pay he got, managing 7 kids and running a household was not an easy task. But they made do. They tried to give their kids everything they could.

Right now, Molly was in the kitchen, making breakfast for Arthur while Ginny was in her room. She was getting ready to go to her friend Luna Lovegood's house. Luna lived just few minutes away from the Burrow and was Ginny's best friend. She was missing her brothers, who had just gone to Hogwarts yesterday. She had wanted to go to Hogwarts as well, but she would have to wait another year. And without her brothers, she was afraid she would feel lonely. She had confessed this fear to Luna. whoa said that now that her brothers were in Hogwarts, they could spend more time together, which had brightened Ginny up.

After getting ready, she went down and said to Molly, "Mum, I am going to Luna's house." Molly said, "Enjoy your time dear. Come back before sunset." Ginny rolled her eyes and said, "Sure mum. Bye dad." She then kissed Arthur on the cheek and went outside.

As soon as Ginny's hand on the clock showed travelling, Molly told to Arthur, "I got letters from the boys today." Arthur, who drinking some tea, kept his cup down and said, "Anything interesting happening at Hogwarts? I have heard rumours that Harry Potter might be coming to Hogwarts this year." Molly said, "Ron got into Gryffindor. And for some reason, access to third floor corridor has been restricted. But that wasn't the thing the boys focused on. The letter was mostly about Harry Potter. All the boys wrote about him only. Ron was even in the same compartment as him in the express. But that wasn't the thing he focused on. Arthur, the sorting hat sorted Harry Potter into Slytherin."

Arthur kept his cup down, surprise clear on his face. He said, "Harry Potter is in Slytherin?" Molly nodded and said, "This is not good Arthur. Slytherin has always been known for having students who believe in blood supremacy. Its students have been known for having a desire to learn and master the dark arts. Harry Potter would be surrounded by them. What is stop him from believing them and becoming like them? He defeated you-know-who as a baby. What if he becomes like him?"

Arthur said, "Molly, calm down. Do you really think Dumbledore would let that happen? Do you think he wouldn't be worried about these very things? I am sure he would be thinking about this and planning what to do. We need to trust in him Molly." Molly said, "You know I trust in Dumbledore Arthur. But you are forgetting he is the headmaster. He has to manage Hogwarts. Will he have to the time to look after everything Harry Potter is doing?" Arthur said, "Right now, there is nothing we can do nothing other than trust in Dumbledore and Minerva to do the right thing. I trust them and our kids to make the right choices."

While both Molly and Arthur had been thinking that Ginny had left, she was instead listening to this conversation between her parents. She was going to come back to get something but stopped by the window after hearing her parents speaking about Harry Potter. She heard the entire conversation. Once she felt that her parents wouldn't talk more about him, she started going towards Luna's house.

While on her way there, her mind was going over what she had heard her parents say. The fact that Harry Potter was in Slytherin had shocked her. Throughout her childhood she was always told by her parents and brothers that Slytherin was the house only dark and evil wizards went into. The fact that people like Lucius Malfoy, whom her father hated, was more reason to believe what she was told about Slytherin. But she also grew up with the story of Harry Potter, the boy-who-lived. So, she was not able to believe that Harry Potter could become like you-know-who.

It was with these thoughts running through her mind that she reached Luna's house. Luna was in the garden, tending to some flowers. She saw Ginny and said, "Wrackspurts have filled your brain Ginny." A small smile came on Ginny's face. Luna always knew what to say to distract her from her thoughts. She said, "Yes Luna. Wrackspurts have been buzzing a lot in my brain." Luna seriously looked at her and said, "That's not good Ginny. Too many Wrackspurts in your brain will make you very confused." Ginny tried controlling her laughter and said, "I know Luna. Forget about Wrackspurts, tell me about these flowers." Luna smiled and began explaining to her friend about the flowers she and her father were growing.

Ginny was the only friend Luna had. Others always thought that she and her father were crazy, for they used to write about many creatures and plants in their magazine, the quibbler, that people believed didn't exist. They made fun of her for believing in them. Ginny was the only one who never made fun of Luna. She instead asked her about them.

After spending some time explain to her best friend about the various flowers she and her father were growing, she and Ginny went to the village. They brought some goods from the shops and then spent some time roaming in the village. They then began their way back to Luna's house. On the way, Luna asked Ginny, "What made Wrackspurts enter your mind Ginny?" Ginny then told Luna what she had heard her parents say. What Luna said made all her questions die? Luna said, "Unless Nargles have made Harry Potter mad, he won't be anything like You-know-who or become like him." In her own way, Luna perfectly said what was running in Ginny's mind. And that put her own doubts to rest.
