Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
With this chapter now is that they are preparing to settle into their lives on the Enterprise, but from here on in, in to the rest of the story. As there is going to be a severe amount of Carter, Frasier and O'neill bashing, for the rest of the series. As what if there was more to the events of the second season, Hathor and Omac. Then we ever knew, and this story gives the pretense to it, followed by a rigging the proceedings.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 36: The Mission Begins And Permanent Farewells VI
"Well after sum number with you guys, and her trying to set me up to bring me back, you knew this never happened before, and did with her here." he said and they nodded. "Yeah we know and attempt that I'm court martialing her for attempted murder right now. You never suffered a draw back, in the sum times you kept you kept coming in here right now. But my subordinate as much as you're Andy's now." he said and Daniel smiled gently and Haden chuckled then.
"After a few days decompression, we go return topside to our families here, but we do this so often it became normal right now. Swapping atmospheres's but that's the problem, is gate traveling is hazardous to your heath when it's a warzone. But we spent close to a week ferrying out officers up here, but 150 naval personnel here, 2,500 Air Force officers here. But with you coming in repeatedly to do a stint, you're more Navy the Air Force." she said and he smiled.
"Yeah this I like, it's quiet finally, complete peace and quiet, I'm not hearing gate activation alarms going off day in and day out, nobody set off something right now. To make me sick of having a groundhog's day out of body experience right now. As with you my knowledge is put to use, as to that right now, and to say it again, they don't need me: Nobody in that rathole does." he said and her eyes gentled at that, as her commander crossed his arms then, at the tone.
And of hate and resentment at his ex team mates, why he left so fast now, he'd rather be somewhere quiet, and seeing that same look on his team psychiatrist. Who gave a gentle nod, as the quartet exchanged firm looks, knowing they had to talk about this. Once they were topside, as he was spending 50% of his time around them, when not with Dixon now. "Andy, could I talk to you please." he asked and Dixon nodded gently and they, Haden and Landry.
Then moved to the other side of the floor. "I can tell there's a severe level of resentment at the duo, and Frasier, exactly what they do to make him exile himself to the Navy now?" he whispered and he sighed. "Partial on Hathor, and 3/4's on Shyla, but Sha're is the founding reason, if not, his parents death was the week, they went to La Rochelle. He got caught in a cave in, and then she tried to come lie her way out of this, they're convinced here now."
"That orders never make sense then it's a lie, brought on by drugs, Daniel's study of the sarcophagus was covert, only the medical/psychiatrical. And Hammond knew the orders, before he told Teal'c next, it's after this, was Machello, and they threw him to the wolves to keep going." he said and he and Haden nodded nodded sternly to the news. "Alright then, I never found anything dangerous down here, and the water's too deep to consider a crashed ship."
"So if there was an instance, of our movie counterparts, and she's brought on board, any funny business, she's in the chamber, and being shipped back to Colorado." he said and Dixon nodded sternly. "But if not you and Cam on mission, he's with us, he's got all the makings of a young deep-seas scuba diver, so he's safe with us." he said and Landry nodded as they heard it. "The teams actually take turns this was our's, so once done, the next one gets back in 7 days now."
"This is the control room, and that's one's meant to finish pressurizing you, before you open the interlock, going back upstairs. But trust me, if you think it's cold in here, on the outside of the walls, well try in being on catwalk, and it's solid metal bars. In crossing around the extension shaft, that you're going to freeze to death in there, if you go below 39. As the water and the ice together, it's so cold it's you're going to freeze to death this way." Fletcher said and he nodded.
As she left her hand on his shoulder, as he sat there, examining the numbers and nodded, before his eyes narrowed and he tapped a code in and a message wrote out. 'Optimal power and orders received and understood.'. "We just hit a memory cap here, there's something down there talking in Ancient Egyptian, looks like we had someone crash down there. And whatever it was, is still alive, and using his sarcophagus." he said and they nodded in shock to the news.
"Sarah where's the expedition exactly?" he asked and she crossed her arms. "They're bringing everything in from Egypt, looks like we just caught someone in the act." she said and he nodded. "Who are you, my lord, my name is Commander Daniel Jackson." he said, saying it in Ancient Egyptian as he typed it and message wrote itself out. "I am Pelops, Greek God of Pisa, I crashed 3,000 years ago, after Grandfather blasted my ship down."
"What is the year on the surface." he read out to them. "The year is 1999 A.D., but hate to have to tell you this, but the how in how I can talk to you is I'm a linguist here. How are you still alive, aside from your sarcophagus, you crashed into the southern pole. And are too deep for us to reach you, the water is so deep here, that you're 45,000ft below the surface. No human can swim that deep or dive that deep, submersibles or not." he said and they heard a sign then.
"Then leave me be, if I am trapped down here, I thank you for letting me know someone found me, and I can talk to someone again, as all my jaffa are dead." he said and Haden covered his eyes. "We're here for indefinitely, but my ship is parked directly over you, at 44,150 feet, so any explosions down there won't affect us. If you decide by asphyxiation, we understand you're lonely, no contact with your lotar, it's lonely." he said and knew it then.
That he nodded. "I understand right now and thank you, well if you're here indefinitely I have someone to talk to again, but the water is keeping my ship going. As I converted deuterium into fuel here." he read out and Haden nodded. "My lord, we came across your research station on Argos, my ex team leader got infected by it. But my father had strict rules on no drinking, what you created, we call it a sexually transmitted disease here."
"And the scientists of my scholar type are never letting him live it down." he said and a stern message wrote itself out. "I meant to undo the effects, after I had what I needed, but I crashed here on your planet, before I could return. Did you fix that, before it killed my people, Commander?" he said and Daniel nodded. "We did, they are living full lives right now, they'll be fine." he said gently and they heard a sigh of relief, as he answered him gently then.
"I thank you, but before we can talk more, I must rest now, so same time, in 48 hours Commander." he said and Daniel looked at Haden, who nodded. "Yes my lord, 48 hours, see you then." he said and ended it. "Well Jerry just became a Goa'uld trapped down there who knows how long, and he's lonely. Just wait till he starts destroying things, as the blast from the ship reaches us." his next in command said and Redford nodded, as their psychiatrist nodded.
"Alex, what's the hell's going on down there?" Daniel asked and Lieutenant Alexander Jenkins nodded as he explained that. "We just finished up, but like Eric said, 1 day for every 100ft, so 850ft, equals 8.5 days in the chamber." he said and they nodded. "Where we at here, at this level, on 43?" he asked and Redford smiled. "That's 700ft, the red knob is the pressure gauge, but it's the same in layman's terms, push too much, it's an explosion." she said and he nodded.
"And you thought you had it bad here right now, this is something I'm learning, till I got it so mastered right now. She can't match my expertise, I been around you so long, this becomes second nature to me, but that stern tirade, I'm a naval deepsea diver now." he said gently and she and Alexander chuckled as they looked at the camera, and he saw. That his guess was right as the quartet matched, in looks, Samuel L. Jackson, Sharon Stone and David Arquette.
"Hey guys, I'm in the control room here now." he said and they all looked at the camera. "Hey son, just give it a few days here, then we can talk face to face. But I'm one of 8 Psychiatrists working on the ship here now." Henderson said and he nodded, as he was amazed at yow fast, the Navy took over the program now. "I only been gone a week, how could we assemble the crew, both sides, and that fast." he said and he chuckled and nodded.
"With the program returning to civilian control, the Air Force has the research and development now, we got the Antarctic and running the chair itself. The joint chiefs changed orders, after your report came out, and when it did right now. The joint chiefs decided you're working for us now, as the Air Force is only using your training. When they really need it here, and your little test run on the computer now, opened it up."
"As to that, they decided if the SGC and the Air Force are not making use of your abilities then the Navy's assuming control of the program. They have creation of the fleet being built right now, till such time here they realize your way. Now works better then their's and the playback rant that Vance showed me. And before you returned to Earth, revealed the anger and resentment at the duo and Frasier, your team now."
"As it was, is no more right now, so we're going to see how well we do with your skills, it pans out and you're under our payroll indefinitely now." he said and Daniel nodded smiling, as he answered him then. "Looks to me, you're a Naval version of my uncle, if you're staying with the team." he said and he nodded and Landry smiled. "Yes and remember don't push me, pal, if you get hurt during our checks, you need to be in bed."
"The side effects, but a dislocated ankle, and recovering from landed you in the infirmary, is reason enough to put your legs out for a week." he said and the team CMO nodded in agreement. "No kidding and it better not be the same leg twice, but how stupid do you think we are exactly." the team doctor said sternly to that. "Uh oh, yeah dead man walking if you do this under his supervision." Lou said, flinching at the remark then at that remark.
"I take it you mean she's desperate enough to consider a near fatal accident, to try and convince George, that working as a deepsea diver, is just not for you. You should be back with the Flyboys?" the habitat doctor said sternly, walking in and he nodded gently. "Unfortunately, in truth her problem is she's scared to death of walking back in there, but play that back." he said and they nodded, as he switched to another monitor then, and put in the middle of the episode.
"Say it young man, and you're being arrested right now, as whatever reason he has, regarding you little brats, is being told directly to me, and through me, right to Hank, Jean and Vance." they heard and Hoffman turned to see his double, looking like he did on Outbreak, only dressed in a navy blue dress uniform then, and with his arms crossed sternly. "Oh boy, yeah dead man walking here." Lou said gently and the older man nodded sternly.
And to the remark then. "Yes, and boys, Annie, better join the admiral, if you're all coming with Danny, because just to get you out of here, is shoving in their face. That civil services, if the said civilian wants to resign, is fine, but clearly the little shits. Are like the hallucination, that nearly wrecked the Professor's life a second time right now." he said and then said it sternly. "Brandon's pissed." the doctor said sternly to this.
"More then pissed off, I never knew their relationship, till he practically shouted it at these guys." Haden said to him gently and he nodded."You honestly expected to get away with that right now, how long before I come back to claim what belongs to me. You heard me right you little bastard, in truth, is there are three military officers. My double is playing, two in the medical department, and the other a Naval psychiatrist."
"One covering deep sea diving of the type that said movie is based on, I do this all the time. You have no idea of his entire transfer records do you, in addition to 10 to 13, under the Nashes. Well the last one, this time for the following 5 years, before he headed for Chicago to start his career, Colonel. Was me, I'm not just anyone, but a family friend, as Frasier said calls to every specialist in the service, well so did Mel."
"In medical and psychiatrical. I'm the second, I'm doing deepsea exploration, I chose him specifically." he said and Jack went white in fear then. "I kept dying my hair I see." he said and the man nodded bemused smiling. "We're not as young as we used to be, but we're still working the field, like being in virologist, same concept here right now. But 80% of the team, aside from us and Dave Barnes, is borderline 45 years old in age."
"Our youngest is a recently activated cadet, just out of graduate school at 28." he said and Hoffman nodded smiling and the quartet nodded sternly the news. "I'd hate to be the poor idiot that turns our temper on them, as if Jake is not enough already. We're worse, but captain or colonel it's the same rank. Only in Naval form here, we'll get ready to get blasted if you don't control that temper of your's." he said and Jack paled.
"Hey Doctor, I'm Commander Daniel Jackson." he said and the psychiatrist nodded, smiling. "New patient, just give it time, but though 34, I still see you 18 years younger." he said to him and he looked down and they chuckled. "That explains the photo on his desk, that was you." the doctor said smiling and he nodded gently. "Or rather not new at all, still my little boy, there's the you I know, but I can tell kiddo, you still are."
"Very much so, so don't give me any trouble, I'm your parents age group, but though 34, to me you're still an pre cadet, don't remember me Danny, Uncle Brandon, Lieutenant Commander Brandon Henderson." he said and Daniel smiled in delight as he hugged him tightly and he pressed his forehead to his. "Missed you." he said and the man smiled gently and the trio smiled gently, knowing the older man was exactly what he needed.
"I missed you too son, time to come home now." he said and then said it gently. "Let me guess the 9 year old in you came back out, after Hathor arrived here, but in reality, you're a young teenager trapped in your adult body." he said and Daniel nodded gently. "I read the record, you nearly took a bullet to him, that says, if you were still a child. You've been so abused, that it's going to take weeks to ease your tension down.
"But if they're arguing about you staying here, then clearly the effects are stronger then even they considered. They're trying to break you completely, make you compliant only to her." he said and Daniel nodded in fear, as he backed away from the duo and Sam in fear at that remark then and she paled. "She refused to consider the effects are permanent, in the pheromones?" Barnes asked sternly and he nodded to him gently then
"Last night was enough to make me completely afraid of this bastard, and she only made it worse, they turned on me completely, they're traitors." he said slowly and she started shaking in fear. "It never stopped, rather then trying to claim I'm the traitor, they're trying break my undying loyalty to Selmak's mother!" he said and the trio all paled in fear at that, realizing that he still thought they were Hathor's Jaffa, even after 2 years.
That it still hadn't stopped now at that. "I swore fealty to Egeria, since I met her face to face after shooting myself to the past 20,000 years ago, her host looks like Lesley Anne Warren, back then." he said and they nodded. "When she made Clue you mean, she looks like her?" Landry asked and he nodded gently then to him. "Ask Les' to clone herself, you're seeing her in the flesh, but my undying loyalty, my fealty is to her now."
"They swore fealty to Hathor, and rather then claiming I'm everything they been saying here, since Hathor, the bastard slipped up. In her trying to gather information from us, but the reason here they're desperate to keep me here. Though you're refusing to listen here now Sir, is to save their asses, they're traitors, general. They're going to sell us out, they went into an anthropology mission, without absolutely."
"No training, and for this type of thing, I heard his remark, the Roswell comment was sincere." he said, quoting Jack's remark back to them and she went white in fear. "You're thinking, she got to her too now?" Hammond said carefully and he nodded sternly. "After she immediately agreed to kick me off the team to keep going, yeah dad. But if not Shyla, it's Machello, if not Machello, it's trying to claim, that, after Sha're's death."
"I'm depressed enough to try and kill myself, which is no where close, now, to the truth, they're desperate to keep me here, because of Shyla's kingdom." he said and they nodded. "Easy, easy baby, we get it, but we're taking you away from here, somewhere safe now." he said gently and Daniel nodded, as he tried to calm down then. "First them, then Maybourne, create an army of human Jaffa now, and Maybourne's threat."
"To have me removed, last night's assault, she's dead, before she could attempt it, but still right now…" he said, shaking in fear then and Sam and Jack both went white, realizing his remark referred to Jack's flippant remark to her. And Hammond and Landry looked at the duo, who paled at the remark in shock and fear, at the diagnosis. "Yeah not good at all people, you realize how bad this looks, when you know we consider you traitors." Landry said sternly to this.
"She nearly killed Teal'C, but no, the planet we went to now, could be where they knew she was going to be, as she beat the shit out of Teal'C, knocked us unconscious. He was the first to be woken up, and was around Trofsky all that time, but what if she revealed herself. And to him, it can't be anything else here, only now looking at the last two years here now, it's not traitor to Earth, it never was, but rather to her."
"The effects are permanent, Egeria said the effects are permanent, if the queen wishes them to be, and she made them permanent here now. Not even the sarcophagus can undo this to a chosen soldier, they're trapped like this for life. As a result her primary enemy is Egeria herself, she sensed I belong to Egeria. But Egeria was a friend of Earth, Earth belonged to Egeria, long before Hathor woke up." he said and they nodded.
"These attempts are not trying to set me up, they're trying to brainwash me, it's never going to stop till they break my undying fealty to Egeria, and swear to Hathor." he said and they paled, realizing it was a perfect excuse. "Ooh, yeah that's enough right to have them tried and convicted for espionage, pretend you're everything they been saying. And since Hathor and instead, they're trying to brainwash you, break your undying loyalty to Egeria."
"I see why you're scared now, and needed a new cage, with you being a wolf, in demeanor, you inner cub has been abused, so fully fortified cage." Simmons said sternly, crossed his arms. "And that's a perfect excuse to call attempted murder charges, it's attempted brainwashing of alien scales. They're driving you into exhaustion, starving you, repeated attacks to break you, break your fealty." Hammond said sternly to this news.
It was a perfect accusation, but after the attack the night before, and realizing he knew that was going to happen, and took something to make it look like they tried to kill him the night before. That whatever he decided was enough to put the 3 of them away finally, because their psychosis over Hathor, they were taking him seriously. "You're not taking that seriously, are you?" Mckenzie said, shaking in fear, realizing their attempt backfired and so drastically then.
As a result of the pheromones, the trio's kidnapping by her and their arrest, that was, to the medical/psychiatric brass, the perfect excuse to put the men he was protecting away, for life. "As a matter a fact, we are, right now this is destroying one's spirit, by brainwashing, young man, you're trying to destroy him, make him submissive. And to fealty of their goddess, but his soul is too strong, belonging to Egeria." Hammond said to him then
And they started shaking violently. "You're beating him, starving him, trying to break his spirit, but he refuses to give in. And now, he's too scared to even be around you, and just yanked the gun, ready to fire, touch him in either way, you're being shot down." Henderson said and Sam started shaking in fear violently. "Let me guess, she's thinking it's still Shyla and the Sarcophagus?" Alexander said and he nodded, as they saw the fear in her face.
Now knowing she never thought or thinking of that, instead of Shyla, they were trying to break his undying loyalty to Egeria. And he was still refusing to give in, only now that this man showed up, the little boy in him. Just went preteen and wanted rescuing from his attempted kidnappers, like the base was a cult of Hathor worshippers and he swore fealty to Egeria at the time. "Never thought of this Captain, with your vocal abuse, you could be doing the same thing here."
"Well clearly, you're desperate enough to commit cold blooded murder." Barnes said sternly to her at that remark. "And we just added two more to the list, Captain Carter and Dr. Frasier." Carson said sternly then and she went white completely at that remark. "Oh so you don't think so Captain, well is the detox here, and denying him sunlight. Considered attempted brainwashing?" Hammond asked her and she swallowed hard in fear then.
Never thinking she was trying to brainwash him, but rather here trying to deprogram him now then. "She was thinking, she was convinced, holding me there would break the effects now only it was never the sarcophagus, but rather the effects of the serum here. But doing this, she effectively screwed herself over, 6 months ago, her immediately agreeing with him. Effectively got the entire military side of the program shut down here." he said and the quartet nodded.
"Indeed." Teal'C said sternly to that. "But unknown to them I stuffed my GDO into his bag, the primary, you brought him home, and I know he realized he had it. After checking his gear bag when he left to get Bra'tac, before you went to grab them." he said and Hammond crossed his arms and they paled in shock, realizing the primary GDO switched hands, before she found it and the duo exchanged relieved smiles then gently
"Teal'C?!" Hammond said and he nodded. "Nice thinking here guys, I couldn't have done it better, before she finds the GDO, switch hands here. As this keeps it out of reach, Chulak is safe to return to, till Apophis makes his return appearance right now. Only Apophis never realized exactly what the hells going on, on our side of the war, till he makes his return." Haden said, though just as he finished, that, there was a gentle rumbling from below them then.
"General, it is I, Master Bra'tac, wish for clearance to come through please." he asked and Landry nodded. "Clearance granted, we're on the holodeck, computer, teleport him to the holodeck, once he arrives." he said and knew he nodded smiling, as he arrived a second later. "Tek ma te, Master Bra'tac." the duo and Lou said together and he smiled in affection. "Hello dear friends, it's good to see you, but where am I?" he asked and he explained that to him.
"We are on our new ship, the Enterprise, but we are in our planet's Southern Pole, the SGC was shut down, via realization the effects of the Nish'tae never stopped." Daniel said and he nodded. "Colonel O'neill and Robert Makepeace, I see, what of Captain Carter and Dr. Frasier?" he asked and he shook his head. "They're being committed for psychiatric evaluation, you know of Pyrus the god slayer?" he asked and he nodded sternly as he answered him, looking between them.
"I know that his trap was meant to kill off renegade system lord, but I don't know the extent of his power against humans here." he said and Daniel nodded. "Recently he became the trap, the snare for officers like the NID, the effects of the Nish'tae are now permanent. But I swore my undying fealty to Egeria, the Tok'ra queen, they, that's the duo and Lieutenant Johnson. They been trying break my undying loyalty to her and convert me to Hathor, ever since then."
"Till they got caught last night." he said and removed his shirt, as they got a good look and Bra'tac nodded in stern anger. "Dear god, yeah I see why you feel this skittish being around those bastards right now." Alexander said, seeing how thin he was and seeing the effects of the invulnerability serum preventing a case of cold blooded murder. "Indeed, but I could easily beat the tar out of those hataka." Bra'tac said with stern malice and knowing they'd go pale at that.
"Viewing the effects of that realization, if Captain Carter is this pale?" he asked and they nodded. "Proceed." he said and Daniel nodded. "Indeed I found it directly after I left, it was in my handsack, I brought it with me, before you came to get us. And the trio, she attacked us, because she was looking for it, but unknown to her, before we arrived. Knowing these two's state of mind, he gave it to me, and I suppose she thought
"It was between the trio, but not, it was with me, all that time, for more, they tried to give it to her." he said and the 11 nodded sternly. "Indeed, that is a very good observation, they are traitors, to their queen Egeria, have been since the red headed bitch. That is Hathor, was released right now." Bra'tac said sternly and Bert swallowed hard. "At ease Colonel Samuels, you are not the target of my ire, they are." he said and he and the others all nodded.
"Nice thinking, boys." Carson said sternly and the trio started shaking violently at that remark then. "Two words dad, Uncle Jake, Etana Jol: The Game, first was Will, then Deanna, then Beverly, before assimilating Geordi, Worf and Jean Luc, but there it is. But with these being a sexual goddess now, is first these guys, then Area 51, who's next exactly, with who's stationed out at Area 51 right now?" he asked him gently then.
And Hammond crossed his arms as he answered him. "That would be Maybourne and the NID next, before it gets into the joint chiefs after that, and right up to the U.N. and the president, baby." he said and she went white completely at that remark, realizing he was placing her as Deanna, Janet as Beverly and Jack as Will. After they deactivated Data, in said episode, Teal'C was nearly murdered, because of this and Daniel was Wesley, as an adult.
"I get baby, so you don't have to say anything else, it's The Game, Stargate style now here, you been traumatized enough already, but this, this is too much, place these three under arrest, right now!" Hammond said dangerously to the news and she swallowed hard, as they placed the trio into handcuffs, and they grabbed her and Janet beyond tightly. And as the trio, Lou and Teal'C surrounded him quickly, as she realized they were his version.
And of Jake, Data and Robin. "I had enough of this, I'm getting the hell out of here." he said, shaking in fear then, as he remembered Maybourne attacking the night before, with Jack, and broke out in sweat, at the mere consideration, of her doing Maybourne and his command. As he grabbed the gun out of S.F.'s holster and pointed it directly at them. "Back up, back up, something just flash forward, baby don't." the psychiatrist said carefully to that response.
And Carson nodded sternly. "Uncle Dave, don't, I swore to leave this alone, if he never tried anymore stupid stunts now, but the fact he didn't. And in attacking me last night, he sealed their fates, why of all the teams that came in after us. Was it Makepeace exactly, I passed my GDO to Teal'C and for this reason exactly. To get it back to you guys, before she got her hands on it, but now, directly after that, his next words."
"On said episode, after she tried to interrogate us, sealed his fate." he said, and they nodded. "Oh crap, he kept an ace up his sleeve in case they attempted anything else." Lou said to that bemused. "A remark in a joking manner, that could very well be suggestion of orders, to the enemy, first us.
