Stargate Atlantis Trading Grounds I: The Return To La Rochelle
Warnings: This story is going to match the dialog, in the flashback memories, of chapter 4, of the past meets the present series. As it also follows the complete mental breakdowns, of the human half of the team. And Robert Makepeace and Adam Johnson, so the story is going to follow the dialog to the letter exactly. Along with some new dialog that was not in the fast forwarded portion in the flashbacks.
With this chapter it's jumping over the mission to Ernest's research station, before returning to earth now, and ending up back on the base now. Said now looking exactly like the Enterprise D, in every way, shape or form. And just without the technical problems, as the tunneling between their base and White Rock Research Station. There is a set of jeffries tubes going horizontally that way, rather then vertically.
Basing this in real time, rather then the show, of 25 years ago, Antarctica was a neutral zone for research so military research was not allowed out there. And with it, as the chair is considered military technology, it was meant to be last resort. In case of another orbital attack, so the outpost is now trade and exploration. So with this chapter, is the colony/crew is now getting used to being a slightly underwater crew.
As he's getting to work in trading to bring in more improvement for the planet at large now, so a military attack. Just to bring him back to the states, is attempted, is an international. In incidents and enough to get them convicted for kidnapping now, with his clearance. So from here, is he's dropping in on Ry'ac and Drey'auc and before the press conference. And just before his first stop in planets is to Gaea, home of the Nox.
This chapter will finish off this portion of the story-line, as the next two chapters and forward, cover chapter 2, going by the name. And of The Glory Of Tantulus, which covers things, from his going to the races and Tok'ra creation of the treaty. And his return to Shyla, before the following Chapters cover the the breakdowns of the trio and Carter, who's lost her ability to function mentally, out of desperation now.
As the mission was sanctioned, and he was transferred to Landry and the Atlantis team at the time. As Rodney McKay, Cam Mitchell, Vala Mal Doran, Hank Landry, Frank Simmons, Steven Caldwell, John Shepard. And Elizabeth Weir enter the picture here, the story will have Daniel and Teal'C joining their team. As the SGA is founded 5 years early, and moved into the outpost on earth….

Chapter 49: Truths And Mission Aftermaths IV
"Ouch yeah that's a good accusation here, she's convinced here, what we told you is all in your mind right now, and we're not the real deal. And someone's impersonating us, yeah this makes a good reason: psyche eval now." Landry said sternly to that, crossing his arms at the. "In fact I'm willing to bet the blending has altered your memories, one personality. Slowly destroying the primary, that you don't see this for what it is, Argos, in X-rated form."
"So with that, I think we need to have you checked, in an eval, barely 3 months and already the alter ego is rewiring your memories, Jolinar never checked it. To realize you keep ignoring Argos, to not realize this is Argos in X rated form now. So I wonder how the generals will take it when they find out now, you're suffering a psychosis. Of 'the orders never make sense, then it's a lie now.'." he said and they heard a back pedal.
And the trio nodded in agreement. "Indeed, this psychosis over Queen Shyla and her father consumed 21 months of her life. Now that why let it rob her of anymore, she needs severe help." Drey'auc said and Landry nodded in agreement. "No kidding, and my cub certainly was right, that, when one mind is taking over the other, we need a psyche evaluation. To find out and now, as she's a liability." Carson said and Cromwell crossed his arms sternly then to this.
"No I didn't say that, but normally they never take risks with alien technology, that why start now." she said and knew Daniel nodded. "That's never take risks with military technology, but they do with medical technology, Pyrus's leader of the human side. Of the 5th race, they found a way to harness the power of the sarcophagus now. To create life saving drugs, but behind the 17th century facade, they are beyond now."
"Technologically advanced, their skills in chemistry are practically magic, because it's mixed with the healing powers of the sarcophagus. Because the medical department need to see if there's something useful in medical technology out there. I may have just found it, in the form of the effects of it, rather then using the damn thing. And directly, is there a way to synthesize the healing properties of the technology."
"As we're too young to harness that effect, they went to trade with the king, for the arrest drugs, that I'm testing out now." he said and they heard a panicked tone. "Alright hold on there's more to this exchange then you saw on the show." he said and pressed the updated requisite button and they heard it then. "The admirals saw that the only way to handle this, is by doing exactly as the president ordered me to do, for the drugs."
"Said drugs are the elixir, the serum, a few dozen syringes, making like the hypospray syringes on the show, a muscles paralyzing agent to give your body time to rest. And a serum meant to turn you into a human version of jaffa right now, but it's these. And with it now, research on the technology, in exchange for a few hundred here. In farming supplies and livestock." he said and they went pale in shock then to the news.
"I actually been to the trio's planets, but here's my point now, compared to you, I had the presence of mind to pay attention to that key sentence. If left unsaid, never take it, it could be drugged, and if it smells that heavily, of baking seasoning. Never take it it could be drugged, as such, I was experimenting with the elixir, as it. Like the serum they're using to keep my strength under wraps, is meant for better medical care."
"So anyone in a rut, can get some passion back into the marriage now, the reason, I haven't dropped in two weeks, was because I slammed into the wall. During my P.T., and I came down with the flu, so bed rest and they're getting my strength back up. Not there yet, I may look healthy, but those said doses are tripled, by 3's here, so I need 7 more doses to finish healing the damage." he said and they all went pale then.
"Dad said take my time, rest and keep my head down, but I could talk him into letting you go, and you return to Earth, Teal'C stays here with me. As we finish the bargain, that bargain, is a new mine, in exchange for a sample of the drugs. That I'm bartering off him, and with it, the extended research which covers, what I'm looking into. On myself, multiple injuries, metamorphosis, and time frames." he said and she went white
"Why they never tell us, that's what we came here for." she said and they nodded. "It's not your business, Captain." he said and she paled even further, realizing it was covert and not her business, what he and the medical team, and the president decided. "But it's because you're too close to the root cause here, but, as you're clearly. Now, not thinking straight, when the person running the medical side is a 5 star medical psychiatrist."
"He and his 5 star command counterpart suggested to the president, that they run testing on the damn thing. And followed by a question/answer session with the oldest man alive, as they don't trust whatever you get from Jolinar. 1) and 2) is the fact, she could be as you said about Hathor, who is her master here. And before she became Tok'ra, so needing a human side." he said and they nodded, as she went white at that news.
"Ouch now there's a beyond brutal opinion, we can't trust her knowledge, just who did Jolinar belong to, before she became a Tok'ra, as she said. When the CIA grants sanctuary to an enemy turncoat, they never trust their intel, they watch them like a Hawk." Riker said smiling sternly and Hammond nodded, knowing Daniel was right then. "What, why would they do this without telling us why we really came here, I have that knowledge, why do they."
"In truth need it, and send us here without telling us why we came?!" they heard her say in fear and Landry nodded as they heard it. "Young lady, do you really deserve to know that, right now in truth, I'd say that the arrogance of the Goa'uld. Inflated your overly inflated ego right now, but as O'neill said, he's going down, and he wants to take you with him. Now suck it up and wait it out, this mission is not over till we say it is." Landry said sternly to this attitude.
"And to quote Curry, after the goat said the place was cursed, well there's an informed opinion here." Lou said and Anna started laughing at that. "Said knowledge that never came forward yet, and, so whatever you tell dad, he can hear that from Teal'C. But seems to me this is a psychosis about to start, said you're trying to keep the blame here. On the sarcophagus for sounding like what I am now: a Commander and one here now."
"That is seeing this as you're sick to death of my saving your life, and wanting to take things extra slow now, so with that. Is there something you're trying to hide from them or me right now, if you're against their orders to me. And my spending this much time with the king and Princess?" he asked and they heard Teal'C say it with a bemused smile. "Indeed Captain Carter, why are you so against this." he said to her then gently.
"I think the effects of the pheromones, they triggered the same effect that Nash's condition had, making them see her everywhere they go." Daniel said and Sanderson nodded sternly. "Before Alicia called James, telling him he relapsed and get up to their house, now, uh huh. Yeah okay then that makes perfect sense, they're hearing her voice telling them here. That you're the traitor, and going to sell us out, and crossed the line, last week." Carson said sternly to that.
"Hathor's gone, there's no coming back, but seeing her, she's gone now, but they're still convinced, as you carry the primary GDO around with you on missions. But they never knew that code, you mastered it, as such, you're right, the one time the military had it. Is the time she comes to the base, not only was she attempting to use the base as her nest. She was trying to steal it, so she can come back anytime she wants to, and Captain Carter never knew it now."
"If that's not a case of your word against their's, and knowing it to be true, with having seen what he did to his arm, and nothing ever is, if the Doctor told them to get rid the knives." Vala said, crossing her arms and Cam nodded in agreement. "He cut his arm to the elbow, and he did that with the heroin, same exchange you heard, between Daniel and him. Redford said that to him, after I got him in the lock up." Carson said and she nodded sternly to the news then.
"In fact Captain, I'm willing to bet here right now, that the pheromones effects never really stopped, they are permanent now. As such here right now, in truth, they are as dangerous as Nash was after his condition. Said completely dismantled his life, your commander is a schizophrenic, and he's convinced himself. He's straight and I'm crazy, does the past month seem like the rational response of a man right now."
"If even the keeper had his S.F.'s cocking their AK-47's , getting ready to shoot him, during the briefing in that ploy?" he asked and she went white. "Indeed, that's a good example, he's dangerous to himself and others, you're clearly eating right. In getting enough food, and you're fully energized, that is not dangerous. So why are you so against the recovery that Dr. Carson ordained through the king?" Teal'C said to her then.
"I was hiding a smile here right now, as they were both looking at him, but the king told me he read her diary, said chapter, and this was enough to completely irk me. So I decided to test her myself, and locked gaze with the guard, and he nodded, before tapping his knee. And I knew the shock of learning she lied to us, said was too much, as two traitors now. I'm the only loyal one now in truth here, after hearing this now." Teal'C said and they nodded in understanding then.
"It's not that, I'm just worried about how that's going to affect you, it could be dangerous." she said and Landry nodded. "Teal'C, to the generals, dad and the president, the secretary, they see this as anything she gets from Jolinar's memories. They can get from you, you grew up with the technology, you know how it works here, are there any side effects?" Daniel asked him then and they heard a gentle tone to him then at that.
"The euphoria is going to wear off after a time and back to being you again, but currently, you're thinking the way. That Drew's husband was on the movie, only the roles are reversed right now. With you not done healing yet currently, so said number you give us, with it possibly being broken, is by 3's now. The added side effects, are some extra adrenaline, and the only way to get rid of it, is by excessive Cardio."
"Wearing yourself out right now, you'll be fine, but a couple weeks recovery here now, and then back on the job, it doesn't effect your kalach. And with sum number doses, you're about to tell us now, it's after 50 in a broken one. And 100 in working one, that's dangerous now, as it turns you from good, to so good. That you appear evil to everyone else now, and makes you tell the truth, no matter how much it hurts."
"And that's been known to happen in a human now when the servos inside it start getting old, when broken it triples the dosing here right now. So though looking all healthy, you're not done healing yet, if Commander Philonius is here." he said and Rosen crossed his arms."That's exactly what he told me, exactly what Pyrus told me, he did the same testing on it, I'm doing right now." he said and knew Teal'C nodded then.
"I understand, then you, me and the king are plenty, in reliable intel, she's very young here now, that the generals will see here, that our knowledge. And combined together with the knowledge of the drugs they possess, that can save lives right now." he said and Hammond smiled and nodded. "So two valuable, reliable sources of intel, combined with Daniel's advanced research, how can she deny this now, when Jolinar is not a real Tok'ra at all."
"Young lady don't go there, just because you think your knowledge based on Jolinar's is enough, well it's not, we need a human source of intel. Not a biased opinion, based on 72 hours right now." Carson said, sternly crossing his arms. "Make that 3 actually General, I'm a former host, Camulus's ex minor Quetesh." Vala said and they nodded, smiling. "How long, baby?" Addison asked her and she sighed. "That's 10 years, the Tok'ra freed me." she said and he nodded.
"So you know the sciences of the sarcophagus, health wise yourself honey?" he asked her and she nodded. "I can also use the healing device, but after a while it starts losing its effect, like normal pain killers, same thing." she said to him and he nodded. "Vala, we need to find that snake in the grass, we don't and we got the Ancient's evil counterparts coming here." Daniel said and she nodded. "Done, I'm coming with you." she said to him and as they heard it quickly.
And as he hugged her and she tightened her arms around him then, and Sam swallowed hard then, realizing she was a mixture of herself. And Anna, and he needed Vala more then he needed her now, as they heard her objection. "If it's broken, then you really need to stop using it!" Sam said and Vala shook her head and Hammond swung his hand up, as Matheson nodded sternly to the news. "Never know when to stop, do you." Rosen said to that sternly.
"He's under orders here, you're breaking ranks, young lady." Matheson said and they heard a warning tone enter his voice to her then at that. "Why exactly, well really Captain, do you need information on everything, I'm working the psychiatric department. One, and 2) and more importantly now, do they have to give a reason for anything. I mean anything that they do right now, and get it approved by you, Captain, huh, that it."
"Is that it, that what you're thinking here, when you're a mere captain, you think you're so special. That you, or your precious Colonel O'neill deserved to be told what their true intentions on a meet and greet are here right now?" he said and he nodded then. "No kidding, her precious Colonel O'neill, yeah she converted, tell your beloved Colonel O'neill and stay the hell out of our territory." Shepard said sternly to this and Landry nodded.
"Indeed, the SGC once reactivated, are staying out of our territory, or the penalty will not going down well right now, we got enough power. Just to get out of this in one piece, without drastic actions, like beaming in the back up." Picard said and he nodded. "Yeah once you play back the visual memory for us, we're seeing them both go white. Realizing they can't dispute orders without getting court martialed." Hammond said and Rosen nodded then.
"And you're right, the Tok'ra point of view is beyond biased, we need intel based on a human point of view, of the technology, not using the damn thing directly. We can synthesize it's healing properties, to create drugs, as we see what their drugs did for you. It pans out, with Pyrus, we do his entire kingdom as France is one of the healthiest countries. So good food, great health benefits, all it costs is farming supplies, gold and silver." Addison said sternly to this.
"Well news flash, Captain, it's not like they need your approval for everything they do here right now, where the program is concerned. You a Captain, them a 2 to 5 star general, they demanded a research battery, and with them the president. I'm simply following orders here, given to me by my uncles and our commander in chief's orders. But that research study was ordered by the entire joint chiefs and the president."
"And with them, the very men your commander is afraid of, who just arrested him, during her." he said, seeing she went white at the threat, knowing as a captain, as they out ranked her by 5 to 9 ranks. "If that's not a warning of don't go there and even attempt to, you're being court martialed. And nothing ever is, but we say, she does, end of story, but if that's not arrogant in her case here and nothing ever is." Pulaski said and Addison nodded.
And in stern agreement then at her arrogance, she couldn't question this now, without being arrested for why it happened. "But I can't get Shyla to trust me if I don't show I can't trust her, she's helping me with the research. And it's working so far at the moment here now." he said and she sighed as she answered that. "Oh it's Shyla now, first name basis, Shyla." Jack said and she sighed at that reaction as she looked at him in annoyance.
"Colonel, I suggest you just shut up right now, she's my betrothal contract, I created it with her, to prevent what you did, during her." he said sternly and Jack started shaking in fear. "Yeah I'd have a panic attack too if I were you, are you really choosing now to insult royalty, and not just any royal, the future wife of the next king of La Rochelle." Cam said sternly, in shocked disgust, as even seeing the guard standing there, he's getting insubordinate.
"But you really thinking I would never figure it out, what you intended to do, throw me up in your place, to be free of Claude and Porthos?" he asked and he paled at that. "I assume that look on his face, as you made clear, you know I find out and he's a dead man. You could resist where he can't their charms where they can't and your body was still healing. But the psyche testing was better then even you considered right now Danny at the moment."
"You're my kid brother, and I decided to get you away from them, but you're safe now, but these bastards are like the Socs." Cromwell said and he nodded. "I'm not imagining this, I read your notebooks." he said to them sternly then. "And that's enough to have them completely freak out, as they had to turn it around fast. And you gave the knee jerk reaction, as she came to me now, before you passed out." Hammond said to that sternly.
"But I've used it before without side effects, and look no glasses." he said and she said it, her tone concerned. "That looks like a side effect to me." she said and they heard an ignorant tone from Jack. "Daniel get us out of here." he said and listening to the fast remark as Cromwell heard it carefully as he realized it. "Oh yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'm working on it, I just need a little more time right now." he said and she nodded sternly.
"The president authorized trade right now, but you screwed up your chances for royal hospitality here, but let me be frank right now." he said and he started shaking in fear. "Nice emphasis on my name, and he starts shaking in fear, as he knows he just got caught, this was his record down to the limit, and we have him now. Did Hammond explained everything to Danny." Cromwell said sternly to that and Haden smiled at that remark sternly to then news.
"Pyrus just happens to be the king, the quartet all talk about it, King Pyrus Beaumont, his daughter Shyla, is my Shyla, my betrothal contract here. And quite frankly, knowing certain truths, I decided to leave the search alone. But I been comming the SGC every 24 hours, knowing here the president wants the trade deal. I mean if just the serum and elixir can make an impact, what else is there is healing drugs now."
"Oh I sent General Hammond another message, hopefully he won't order an all out attack." he said as he went further at that remark as the entire group nodded firmly to that. "Look if we do this right, we'll have access to all the naquada and the sarcophagus." they heard as they heard the emphasis on the word sarcophagus. "The Naquada no, but that thing forget it, we're not bringing it to earth." Cromwell said and Carson nodded sternly then.
"What we need is the research, hence, 'I took the opportunity to do a little research on the sarcophagus.'. not paying attention to that young lady, huh. As he made it emphasized, he had orders not to rock the boat, keep his head down, till the quintet walk in. And now things change course here right now, some friend you are, not to see what he was really saying." Cromwell said and Carson nodded sternly, as he listened to this carefully, as he crossed his arms.
"How many times have you used it?" she asked him and he sighed as he repeated it then say it. "I don't know, 9 or 10." he said and Anna covered her eyes as she sighed as Hancock said it for her. "Oh god, that's 3.5, times 3 that's why you're looking like this right now, you're running on fumes and you need back up, but can't call in anyone. Or that could get the others arrested and subjected to what they're doing to you." Weir said in shock to that news then.
"Oh Sam, everything is so clear, I feel like I could do anything." he heard and sighed and nodded as he read through the subtext. "That's the reverse, you're so exhausted, you're likely to fall asleep on your feet now. The alnighter from hell, you just put in three weeks of over time here, but it's going to take weeks to recover. And from whatever else was going on, on this planet and both physically and emotionally now right at the moment here, but whatever here."
"Now, that he says next, that seals his fate in being deactivated till 451." Boyd said gently, to this now then. "One thing, you only have to do one thing, and if you can't handle it. Then we're going to break out of here without you!" he snapped at him coldly. "You're done, young man." Landry said sternly, seeing Jack went pale at that. "She wants me to marry her." they heard Daniel say and they sighed at that remark and news then gently.
As they heard the accepted tone. 'First I have to get Sha're back, get the little parasite out of her, and then put her and the baby into hiding.' Daniel said with a sigh of acceptance gently, know he decided to get married a second time. "What?!" they heard from Jack as he started to say it as she looked at Jack. "Alright look..." Jack started to say to him at that news then and they saw Daniel's eyes narrow in anger as he snapped at him then firmly.
And as they heard the hate in his tone and knowing Jack paled, knowing he was screwed now with Hammond then. "No you look Jack, alright that's enough of this, you know I am so sick and tired, of you deciding what's safe and what's not. That what the hell hero, what the hell, you think you're so special, I should ignore my own recovery. Not going to happen, and now I have to fix what you nearly screwed up, that trade deal here."
"And it's enough to bail the entire military out of the red line 9,000x's, now shut up and listen up, I've got everything under control. God man, you never show me any respect, now I'm handling it, all you have to do is hang in there." he snapped at him angrily. "Alright that's plenty, but as we're exercising things, in the prime directive, we give a gentle nudge, without getting involved directly." Boyd said and he nodded as he put it in.
"Here's the rest of it, after I was put on light duty, what Addison told you Frank, before you confronted him." he said and Cromwell nodded sternly. "Jack so help me god, whatever you did, I'm putting your ass in that jail cell for life right now. He's still just a kid, what the hell did he ever do to you, to have you do this to him exactly?" he snapped in fury and Weir swallowed hard, hearing the tone of a career soldier in spec ops training then, at the remark then.
"Probe's data indicates P3H—826 is a viable next mission for SG-1 sir." she said and Hammond look over her shoulder "You think anyone's going to trust you now after this Captain, attention on deck. You lied to him, you lied to save your but right now after you nearly killed me by the cave in. I never would have needed that damn thing if you never put me there now!" Daniel snapped out and they turned around at that quickly then.
As he came in dressed like a military officer, with the air of the next two ranks above, with a beyond stern look on his face. "Never expected here to hear me sound like this, who do I remind you of, he's brunette, has a beard, and is next in command of a certain crew?" he asked and she paled at that remark. "Well I'm him in our generation captain, that you should have really listened closer to my remark in the lab, disagree with me fine."
"Want to take it to the general fine, through me, but you ever do an end run around me again, I'll snap you back so hard you'll think you're a first cadet again." he said sternly and she started shaking in fear, realizing she did just that, and Daniel. He went Will Riker on her, as Hammond crossed his arms. "I'm working for the medical 3 stars Captain, Colonel." he said sternly and she went white in fear, and Jack swallowed hard in shock then.
"More accurately Matheson, Parker, Ferretti and Warren, and the psychiatric generals, Carson and Sanderson, they needed a research battery on the technology. And while I was doing this, I spotted a trade worth 900 octillion, and enough now here. To bail the program out of the redline, but you just handed yourselves over to Pyrus no argument. Pyrus is the leader of Nichole, Andre, Porthos and Athos." he said and they paled at that.
"I assume here they thought you were lying, when that was in fact true." Cromwell asked and he nodded sternly. "They did right now, till the generals revealed it wad a covert." he said and they nodded. "You ever consider that was a knee jerk reaction last week, 'you never really known what love is', 'Make him make the first move, Conway!'. That you just did exactly as I wanted you to do, to try to save yourselves, but your desperation."
"You're dangerous, to yourselves and everyone else, Airmen, place SG-1 under arrest." he said sternly and they both paled at that, realizing he wanted that reaction, and Hammond nodded. As he then crossed his arms as they grabbed the duo, and Teal'C moved to him sternly. "So now what Captain, you got caught red handed in lying right now, in front of our generals, hiding something you never wanted them to know." Boyd said sternly to that remark.
"So what was it you said, some naquada, tell me, is that worth anything to the president. The Joint Chiefs, or the medical department, knowing how volatile it is, after it destroyed the basement. That we're looking for ways to defend ourselves, not start war with the rest of this planet. But evidently you took your oath a little too seriously?" he asked and she paled at that. "You naive fool." Cromwell said sternly to this.
"Defend against all enemies foreign and domestic, this is not the Cold War, what are you going to do next. Going to turn said vision's next weapon back on earth, and kill the Russians or the Chinese next. Do you not know the men that you're trying to get involved with, are all suffering the same thing. That Donald's character intended here, creating biological weapons, that's not what this program is meant for here Captain."
"You idiot, where the hell is your brain, do you not see what they're trying to do here with me, because they destroyed my side of the program. Just to turn the gate into a strategical weapon, I'm the only thing standing in the way of that. No me, they do a Palpatine, and strong arm the planet into submission, with use of the technology we gathered?" he snapped and she went white in shock and fear at that remark and he nodded.
Knowing she was realizing she joined with the state department. "You are such an idiot young lady, you never see this, because you're beyond naive here." Hammond said sternly and she started shaking in fear, now realizing she was just a stooge, and Janet with her. But their plans never worked. "No son, it's not, that's worth absolutely bupkiss, to us, so tell me, what you find exactly?" General, Dr. Jim Whitlock asked him and she went white.
"I found a couple miracle drugs, that will save trillions on sedatives, so interrogation of being more humane to the way the duo wanted. As Omac sees soldiers like this idiot, Makepeace, Maybourne and now Kinsey primitives. Lya and Omac saw I learned something here, that something is why use violence when you can think. No bombs, no torture, no guns, I just lead them into a trap." he said and Whitlock nodded then.
"And that shows nothing's wrong with you, you had a completely human reaction, to whatever happened during Hathor here." he said and Jack went white then, realizing they and Hammond agreed with what he did to them. "What did the forensics say to you, after I nearly took the gun to him." he said and they all nodded. "We see that you were not letting him touch you sexually a second time here, that you were ready here now."
"To go down fighting, but keep their hands off you, or you, as your wolf, were going to rip it off."
