Chapter 3
AN: I don't own the characters used in this fic. They all belong to their respective owners.
AN: Possible trigger warning. There is a mention of rape, and a character is said to have lustful thoughts about minors.
It was Sheila and Mitsuki's day off, and the two were sitting in Inko's living room having tea and talking with the T.V. on in the background when they heard: "Hey asshole! Leave Baku-bitch alone!"
Sheila spun around and saw the crowd part for Jason, who had the sleeves on his school uniform burned off, and ran through the crowd towards a Slime Monster. "JASON!" She shouted desperately, as if yelling loud enough could let Jason hear her.
"IZUKU!" Inko shouted, hodling her hand to her heart when she saw Izuku standing to the side as Jason reached into the Slime Villain and pulled Katsuki out before throwing him to the Heroes.
"Serves the brat right!" Mitsuki shouted. "He thinks he's tough shit because his all of his teachers and classmates tell him that he's going to be an amazing Hero, well now he has to get saved because his Quirk isn't the best!"
Deep down Mitsuki was terrified, but she had always been the blunt one, the strong one. She couldn't show any kind of Weakness. Then Sheila's kid got caught by the Slime Villain.
"NOO!" Sheila yelled. " Please! Someone! Do something! God! Please! Do something! Don't let Jason lose control! Please! I'll do anything! Don't let Jason lose control!"
Inko rubbed her back consolingly while Mitsuki watched with what, for her, was horror filled eyes.
'Kami in heaven.' Mitsuki prayed. 'Please don't let Sheila's kid change. There's no telling what he would, or could, do if he changed.'
"DETROIT! SMASH!" Another familiar voice, that Sheila wouldn't forget for as long as she lived, yelled before punching the Slime Villain with enough force to cause it to rain.
"Oh God!" Sheila shouted, as fresh tears streamed down her face. "Thank you!"
Inko hugged Sheila while Mitsuki wiped sweat from her brow. As strong as Katsuki was, and he was strong; if only he could show some fucking humility, Sheila's kid was terrifying. After what Sheila said happened at the mall with Anna... Mitsuki shivered at the thought. She hoped that Katsuki never pissed Jason off enough to see what he was really capable of.
"I need to get home." Sheila said, grabbing her stuff, and running out the door.
I should probably get home and get started on dinner." Mitsuki said, letting nonchalance ooze from her. "Are you going to be okay until Zuzu gets home?" She asked, using the nickname she'd given him when he and Bakugo were still friends rather than acquaintances.
"Yes, I'll be fine. Thanks. Tell Katsu-kun I said hello."
"Will do. See you next week."
"See you next week." Inko said before heading into the kitchen to start dinner.
After Jason got home that night his mom chewed him out for running into a dangerous situation when there were Heroes on the scene.
"But the heroes weren't doing anything." He said.
"That's because they could see a dangerous situation."
"No. They weren't thinking. If they had been thinking, then Izuku and I wouldn't have needed to save Bakugo."
"That wasn't your call to make."
"I helped save Bakugo though."
"Yes, but you nearly got hurt yourself. I don't know what I would do if I lost you."
"Sorry mom, but I couldn't just sit back and watch. Bakugo was helpless, and I couldn't just sit back and do nothing."
Sheila wiped her face. "Jason. It's admirable that you want to save everyone you see in need, but not at the cost of your own life."
Jason thought about that. "Sorry mom."
"Just promise me that you'll be more careful. You know what happens when you use your Quirk."
"Yeah." Jason said darkly. "I know. I nearly went over my limit today. If All Might hadn't knocked me out I would have changed."
Sheila shivered and hugged Jason fiercely. "That's one reason why I'm glad you found that MMA dojo you train at on the weekends. It helps you fight so you don't need to use your Quirk."
"I'll try and be more careful mom."
"That's all that I ask."
Jason went upstairs to his room and fell on his bed.
His phone rang a few minutes later and he picked it up.
"Hello?"
"Hey Jason."
"Hey Izuku. Did your mom chew you out too?"
"Yeah. She said that it's dangerous for people who have Quirks so that makes it twice as dangerous for me."
"My mom said that I can't use my Quirk or else... well. You know what happens when I use my Quirk."
"Yeah. I still remember two years ago when that guy pushed Anna down the stairs."
Jason remembered that guy. Anna only bumped into him and he shoved her causing her to fall down the stairs.
It had taken Johnny, Izuku, and Rouge to keep him from killing the guy while Elsa kept Anna cold until the paramedics got there.
Last time Jason checked the guy wasn't going to be walking anytime soon, and the burns were deep.
"So, were you going to train with All Might?" Jason asked changing the subject.
"I'd be crazy not to. I mean you've helped me a lot. I'm more confident. I am stronger. But I need more training. You can only teach me so much, and All Might... he's a pro."
"Hey. I get it. I'm not mad or anything, and who knows. Maybe we can train together."
"Maybe."
"Hey. Tomorrow after school all of us need to talk."
"Okay. Why?"
"Just something that you need to know."
"Okay."
"Talk to you tomorrow."
"You too."
The two hung up and Jason got ready for bed before going to bed.
The next day they met in the courtyard.
"Hey Izuku!" Anna yelled.
"M'rning." Izuku yawned.
"What happened to you?" Johnny asked. "Is there a special someone keeping you up at night?" He asked elbowing him.
"What? No! I just woke up with the sunrise."
"Oh." Everyone but Jason said sympathetically.
"Why were you up at sunrise sugar?" Rogue asked.
"I'm not sure I can tell you guys."
"Don't worry." Jason said. "We will talk after school. Remember when I said that we had to talk?"
"Yeah."
"Well we have been keeping a secret since we were four years old, and I think that you have a right to know that secret."
"Okay."
They walked into the school and saw Principal Seller with her arm in a sling.
She glared at Jason.
Jason glared at her with a look that seemed to rip the courage from her body leaving her weak and cowering from him.
"What's wrong with Principal Seller?" Izuku asked.
"I'm not sure." Jason said.
They went through their day with no problems. Bakugo didn't even try antagonizing Izuku after what had happened the previous day.
After school they all met at Elsa and Anna's house where they did homework together.
After homework Jason spoke up.
"Okay. Izuku. There is something that you need to know."
"What is it?"
"We aren't from here."
"Yeah. I know that."
"No. I mean that we aren't from your world."
"Like aliens?"
"No. We come from... have you ever heard of the multiverse?"
"In comics."
"Okay. We are from different universes."
"Oh." Izuku said letting that sink in. "Where are you guys from then?"
"I am from a universe where I lived in Gotham City. I lived on the street from when I was six and was picked up by a Hero named Batman. He took me to a reform school where I was taught to steal anything and everything I could. I was also taught to fight, but I was... unrefined; like a wild animal. I got away after three years and found Batman. I was later trained to fight crime by Batman, and it eventually led to my death."
"But if you died. How are you here?"
"I was given a second chance."
"Is that true?"
Jason reached into his pocket and pulled out a piece of red cloth with a yellow R and a tattered mask. "This is a part of my suit from that universe. In that universe some people had Quirks, and others didn't. I didn't have a Quirk, but I still fought crime. I used martial arts and gadgets to fight."
"Is that why you say that I can be a Hero without a Quirk."
"Yes. I didn't have a Quirk and yet I still fought crime. Even criminals with Quirks. In fact, Batman was Quirkless, and he fought that universes version of All Might, and won."
This brought gasps from everyone in the room.
"No one can beat All Might." Izuku said.
"Batman did."
"That's crazy."
"He was."
"What about the rest of you?" Izuku asked.
"I guess I'll go next." Johnny said. "I made a deal with the Devil to save my father, and, big shocker, the Devil lied. My father died, and I was turned into this..." He changed into the Rider. "I am nigh indestructible with the exception of holy and blessed objects. I can change any vehicle into my ride. It's not just my bike. I had a chain whip and shotgun I used to fight demonic threats to the human world. I also have an attack that burns the soul."
"What's it called?"
"The Penance stare. It allows me to see what the victim of the stare has done, and inflicts the pain they caused. The worse the person the more painful the... not really death considering they are in more of a comatose state reliving their pain for eternity. Though they wish they were dead."
"Why would you choose to become that?"
"Would any of you do anything to save your loved ones?"
They thought about that for a second.
"One other thing. I can produce fire that only burns the wicked."
"Okay." Izuku said, not really knowing what else to say.
"The only proof that I have is my fire." Johnny said holding out his hand and creating a fireball. "Only the righteous can pass through the fire without being burned. The wicked will burn."
Izuku waved his hand through the fire and was fine.
Anna, Elsa, and Rogue were next and also didn't burn.
"The fire might not work on you because your Quirk is Hell based."
Jason waved his hand through the fire and felt heat. "I can feel heat."
"Then that means that you are a wicked soul."
"I used to kill criminals." Jason said with no shame in his voice. "I used to kill criminals who were never going to change and would lie about it."
"I think that the reason you can feel the heat is because you lied about killing them, but I also kill the wicked so I cannot judge you for that."
They looked at Jason. They knew that he had a thing against people who hurt others he cared about, but he was admitting to killing criminals.
"I guess I'm next." Rogue said breaking the silence. "I was born in a world where people were afraid of people with Quirks. They called us Mutants. I was born to a father who was ashamed of me. A woman came and adopted me. She became my mama. She trained me how to use my abilities. She's the reason I can fly and have super strength. She told me to grab hold of a woman and not let go. I did, and I didn't let go. I drained her of most of her power and put her into a coma. I was so horrified by what I had done that I ran away...well, flew away really. I found a man by the name of Professor Charles Xavier, and he helped me. I made friends there, and even found someone I think of as an older brother."
"What happened?" Izuku asked.
"The Friends of Humanity happened." Rogue snarled.
"Who are they?"
"A bunch of Mutant hatin' humans. They attacked the mansion where Professor X had his school and took Jubilee. What they did to her..." Rouge wiped away a tear. "What they did to her wasn't human. It was an act done by monsters."
"What did they do?" Jason asked.
"They crucified her and left her out to die." Rogue cried.
Anna and Elsa moved their hands to their mouths in horror, Johnny's fire grew in intensity, Izuku choked, and Jason bowed his head but began shaking in rage.
"When Logan found her, he was furious. He'd sorta taken her and me under his wing and became the big brother we wanted, but after that he changed. He became more animalistic and bloodthirsty. He left the school and hunted down every Friend of Humanity member like they were wild game. I went on to meet Gambit, and we hit it off. We were both running from troubled pasts and found comfort with each other. Then one day his old crew came and killed him. His dying wish was that I take his Quirk. I did, but after a few more years of the same song and dance I just lost the will to live. I didn't kill myself, but I didn't defend myself when under attack."
Everyone stared at Rogue.
Anna hugged her. "I'm so sorry."
"It's not your fault sugar."
"It doesn't have to be for me to feel sympathetic."
Rogue hugged Anna tightly for a few more minutes.
"Thanks sugar. I needed that."
"You're welcome." Anna said before walking back to stand with Elsa.
"I guess we're next." Elsa said. "My name is Elsa Martin, and my sister is Anna Martin. Where we came from, we were Elsa Agnarrsdotter: Queen of Arendelle and Anna Agnarrsdotter: Princess of Arendelle. I was born with Ice magic that was feared by my parents. When I was eight years old, I hurt Anna with my Ice powers and ended up locking myself away for the next ten years until I took over the kingdom. The short version is that I lost control, ran away, nearly killed Anna, and found that all I really needed was love. Then I ended up sacrificing myself because I loved my Kingdom."
"I was not very smart." Anna said. "After years of isolation I tried to marry the first man I met, terrible idea by the way. He tried to have Elsa killed. I jumped in the way of his sword and because of my love for my sister I was able to help her learn to control her ice powers, and I married the second man I had met, but one night I went to sleep and woke up inside a one year old's body." Anna huffed.
"You were a very cute one year old." Elsa tried placating.
"I have to admit." Johnny said. "It wasn't a great experience waking up in a four-year old's body. I mean I was twenty-five one night and four the next morning."
"I was twenty-three." Rouge said.
"I was twenty-one." Elsa said.
"So was I." Anna said. "We're the same age now!" She said hugging Elsa tightly.
"Anna... Air." Elsa reminded.
"Oh. Sorry." Anna said, letting go.
"I was fifteen." Jason said.
Everyone looked at Jason sadly. "I'm so sorry." Anna said.
"Cheer up sugar." Rogue said. "You've got us. You'll live a long life."
Izuku looked at his friends. He was shocked but they were telling the truth." He pulled his phone out of his pocket and scrolled through his pictures. "So, are these you guys?" he asked showing him some of his first drawings into his notebooks.
He showed Jason a tall boy with an eye mask and a red and black suit with a yellow utility belt and yellow R over his heart.
"Yeah." Jason said in shock. "How?"
He showed Johnny a blond man with black motorcycle boots, blue jeans, a black motorcycle jacket with spikes on the shoulders and wrist, a chain wrapped from his left shoulder to his right hip, and a shotgun from his right shoulder to his left hip.
"That's what I looked like as an adult. How did you find out?"
He showed Elsa a beautiful woman with platinum blonde hair that went down her back in a braid. She wore an icy blue dress that dragged the ground with white heels.
"Yes. How did you draw this?"
He showed Rogue a woman wearing a green and yellow jumpsuit with an X on the belt. A brown leather jacket with mostly red hair except the top which was white.
"How did you draw this sugar?"
"That day we went to the park ten years ago, when the ground started shaking and you guys went into action. I saw these. I didn't know what they were, but I couldn't get them out of my mind until I drew them. If what you guys are saying is true. Then I saw who you were, and you were all Heroes. So, I believe you."
"That's good." Anna said. "Otherwise we might have sounded crazy."
"Oh no. I'm sure we sounded Crazy." Johnny said. "Izuku has just gotten used to our brand of crazy."
"So, what did All might tell you?" Jason asked.
"He says that I need to follow this list until we go to the U.A. next year." Izuku said handing Jason a piece of paper.
Jason read the list. "You're already doing most of this stuff."
"I know, but it's extra help for the U.A."
"Well then we will help you follow through." Anna said. "I mean how hard can this training be?"
The next day.
"Why are we up so early?" Anna asked.
"We are meeting All Might at Dagoba Municipal beach park." Izuku said. "He told me that I had to meet him there every day, and that I would train to take his place."
They got to the Park and saw All Might there. "Good morning young men and women. It is good to see you."
"You were expecting us?" Anna asked.
"Yes. I knew that as soon as Young Midoriya told you what was going on that you would join him."
"You knew that I was going to tell them?" Izuku asked.
"Of course. You share a strong bond with them. I knew that you shared a strong bond with them when you told me how loyal you were to each other."
"So, what are we going to do?" Johnny asked.
"An excellent question young man. You're going to clean up the beach with Young Midoriya. As well as do everything on that list."
"Cool." Johnny said turning into the Rider.
"No no no no." All Might said shaking his finger at Johnny. "Absolutely no use of your Quirks. This is about training your body and your mind."
"What?" Johnny said.
"Come on wimp." Jason said bumping Johnny with his shoulder before running down to the beach and starting to Clean it up, pulling work gloves out of his bag and tossing a pair to the others.
Izuku, Anna, Elsa, and Rogue followed leaving Johnny with All Might.
"Well?" All Might asked.
Johnny went off to help.
Two days later.
"Hey hey hey." All Might said. "This fridge is rather comfy, but we aren't going anywhere."
Izuku fell on his face, Anna and Elsa fell on their butts, Jason slipped but turned the slip into a flip before landing in a crouch, and Johnny fell into him knocking them both to the ground.
"I don't mean to bother you guys, but if you could move it even a little bit then that would be a little easier."
Rogue walked over and picked the fridge up. "Come on guys." She smiled. "It's not that heavy is it?"
"Cheater." Johnny groaned.
"Don't be jealous sugar."
"Why can't you guy's move this?" All Might asked. "I thought that Jason and Johnny also had enhanced strength."
"Not whenever we are pulling an industrial fridge with you sitting on it." Jason said. "And there's probably stuff inside it too to make it heavier."
"You are right."
"You weigh 274 kilograms." Izuku said. "Add that to..."
"No." All Might said. "I lost weight. I only weigh 255 kilograms... in this form."
"How heavy is the fridge?" Johnny asked.
"Not that heavy sugar." Rogue said changing to holding the fridge with one hand.
"Why are we doing this?" Izuku asked.
"It's to get you into shape to be the proper vessel to take One for All, you know."
"Vessel?" Jason, Johnny, and Rogue asked.
"Yes. My Quirk, One for All, is the fullest physical ability of many people gathered into one. An unprepared body cannot fully inherit it. Your limbs and head would blow off, and your body would explode."
"MY LIMBS WOULD WHAT!" Izuku yelled before falling into shudders.
His friends looked at All Might in horror.
"All in favor of Izuku keeping his limbs say aye." Anna said, raising her hand.
"Aye." Everyone, including All Might said.
"So, wait." Elsa said. "You're telling us that Izuku is picking up trash to train his body?"
"Yes." All Might said with a thumbs up. "However, that is not all. I did some research yesterday and found out that this part of the beach parks coast has been like this for many years."
"That's right." Izuku said. "The currents here cause objects to drift towards this coast, and some people take advantage of it to hide Illegal dumping, and the local residents don't really come here either."
"Heroes nowadays are all after the showy stuff. originally, being a Hero meant doing Volunteer service." He walked over to Rogue and pressed down on the refrigerator. Rogue pushed back and they crushed the fridge halfway. "Even if people called that boring or whatever, you can't waiver from those roots." All Might and Rogue crushed the fridge flat, showing them the sun shining on the horizon. "None of you can." All Might looked at each of them. "You all will restore the horizon for this whole section. This is your first step in becoming Heroes!"
There was an energy that seemed to vibrate in all of them.
"My first step?" Izuku asked.
"Our first step." Anna and Elsa said, putting supportive hands on his shoulders.
"We... are going to clean... all of this?" Johnny asked, motioning around them.
"You all want to go to U.A. right?"
"Yes." They all said confidently.
"Young Midoriya. You know this but I'm going to tell you again. You can't go to U.A. without a Quirk. It is sad, but that is what the reality is. U.A. is the hardest of all of the Hero courses to get into. In other words..."
"I have to complete my vessel before the entrance exam in ten months."
"Yes. That is where this comes in. It's a complete list of what you will need to do, eat, and the time periods that you should be increasing. It will help you finish cleaning this beach. You will follow this list in every aspect of your life."
"Cool." Jason said. "Where's ours?"
"Um... I only made the one for Young Midoriya."
"But..." Anna said with a sniff; leveling the biggest, most dangerous puppy dog eyes at All Might. "...we told Izuku that we would help him become the greatest Hero that he could be. How can we do that if we don't have a daily plan that we can follow?"
"Wait wait wait." All Might said trying to calm Anna down before she could start crying. "I'm sure that you can make a copy to follow."
"Okay!" Anna said bouncing back to her cheerful self so fast that it gave All Might whiplash.
All Might shook it off and looked at Izuku. "Between you and me this is a super hard schedule. Do you think you can follow it?"
"Of course." Izuku said. " I will have to work harder than anyone else, even with Jason's training, but I will do it."
"And so begins the ten months of hell." Johnny said becoming the Rider.
Every morning Izuku and his friends would wake up early and race to Dagoba Beach where they would pick up discarded Junk.
All Might pushed them until they had to leave to get ready for school when they would leave, but the next morning they were back at it again.
School was difficult because they were already tired from the extensive exercise, and everyone, with the exception of Jason and Rogue, would be caught falling asleep, but they would take careful notes for each of them.
One day Izuku began muttering about training and drew everyone's attention towards him.
"Midoriya!" One of their teachers said before using his Quirk to chop him in the head, only for Izuku to block the teacher's hand.
Izuku grabbed his face in embarrassment, letting the teacher try again, only for Jason to grab the teachers hand and crushing it in his hand, burning it with a Hellfire glove, and glaring at the teacher with a glare that made the teacher need to run to the bathroom.
Class went on in silence.
After class everyone met at Izuku's apartment to do homework.
"Are you okay?" Anna asked Jason. "You were really tense in class."
"I'm fine." Jason said in a clipped tone.
"No, you're not hon." Rogue said. "Getting trapped by that villain brought up some really painful memories didn't it?"
Jason was quiet for a while. "Yeah." He said with a bowed head and a sniff.
Everyone looked at Jason in shock. He just sniffed like he was about to start crying.
"It's okay hon. You can let go."
"Yeah." Anna said. "Let it go."
Elsa looked at Anna.
"Why?" Jason asked.
"You were 15 years old when you were brutally murdered after being rendered helpless." Johnny said. "You just went through something where you were rendered helpless again, and you thought that you were going to die. You need to come to terms with that."
Slowly the dam broke and Jason broke down.
Inko heard the commotion and came into the kitchen. "Is everything okay?" She asked.
"Yeah." Rogue said hugging Jason. "Jason is finally coming to terms with the Sludge Villain incident Auntie Inko."
"Oh. I'm sorry."
"He just needs some time."
"Okay."
After Jason calmed down, they got back to work, and left soon after.
They continued following the list of what they needed to do.
When summer hit, they would spend all day at the beach taking breaks to swim, eat lunch, and relax so they didn't overwork themselves, but Izuku was always pushing himself to be better.
Finally, All Might had Izuku give him a piggyback ride to see where his strength was.
When fall hit, they were running while All Might rode a Segway.
Jason and Johnny were using their Quirks to keep warm, so they were wearing basketball shorts and a T-shirt. Elsa was used to the cold because of her Quirk, and was wearing sweats and a light hoodie. Everyone else was wearing warm workout clothes.
They were jogging when Izuku fell down.
"Izuku!" Anna and Elsa yelled.
"Izuku!" Jason and Johnny yelled.
"You okay hon?" Rogue asked.
"You're not going to make it today." All Might said. "Wanna give up? Wanna take it easy and rest today?"
Izuku struggled to his knees.
All Might and Jason noticed it right away.
"You overworked yourself." Jason said.
"The 'Aim to Pass: American DreamPlan' was adjusted with your body in mind." All Might said. "It was adjusted so you would make it in time for the entrance exam. You haven't been sticking to the plan... Overdoing it will have the opposite effect!" All Might was mad. "Don't you want to get in?"
"I do..." Izuku said struggling. "...but I can't just get in. I have to work a lot harder than other people. Otherwise I won't be able to catch up." Izuku struggled to stay on his knees. "I want to be like you. I want to become the Greatest Hero, like you!"
Anna and Elsa covered their mouths while Jason, Johnny, and Rogue bowed their heads in guilt. They had been doing this to help Izuku, but it seemed like they were just hurting him as constant reminders of what he was missing.
"You're foolish young man."
Everyone gasped.
"You have friends who are here with you rather than enjoying their free time in the way of their choosing. They have put the last few months on hold to help you. I admire your tenacity, looking to the future, but don't forget to be in the present as well." All Might change, becoming the Number One Hero. "You are a go-getter fanboy. I like that, but if that's the case then you really can't rush things now. But I do understand your feelings. Leave it to me to adjust your plan."
Eventually it was the day of the Exam, and they made their way to the beach to clear away the last of the debris.
When they put the last piece of trash on the pile Midoriya climbed to the top and yelled.
"Hey, hey. Hey!" All Might said coming up to them. "You guys even cleaned outside of where I told you to. There's not even a speck of dust!"
"Doesn't sand qualify as dust?" Anna asked.
"He was speaking metaphorically hon." Rogue corrected.
"You guys finished at the last minute. This is perfect! Oh my... oh my... goodness!" All Might said becoming the Number One Hero.
Izuku swayed from the top of the pile and fell.
Jason, Johnny, and Rogue ran to catch him. Anna and Elsa covered their mouths.
There was a pressure wave, and All Might caught him. "Good work."
"I did it All Might. I did it."
"Yeah. You surprised me. All of you did. You gave up the last ten months to help your friend's."
"Did we?" Elsa asked. "Or did we spend the last ten months making memories that we will carry with us forever, and build a bond stronger than the one we had before?"
"A very deep thought." All Might said. "You will all make great Heroes." He took out his phone and showed Izuku something. "Here. take a look." It was a picture of Izuku on the ground with tears in his eyes wondering if he could really do this.
"That's..."
"It's you, ten months ago." He took a picture of Izuku as he was currently and showed him. "This is you now. You did good. You really did. The mirage of it is, finally, just barely visible, but you have certainly become a suitable vessel."
"Izuku has been training with Jason for the last ten years though." Anna said. "Wasn't this just extra training to get him ready for U.A.?"
All Might looked at Izuku. "You didn't tell me you were training before this training." He said, confused.
"Actually, he did." Rogue said. "He said it at the beginning. We just thought that this was extra training."
All Might looked at Rogue and felt a sweatdrop on his forehead.
Izuku looked at his hand. "I feel like I'm cheating..."
That caught everyone off guard.
"...You did all this... for me..." Izuku started crying tears of joy. "I'm too blessed."
All Might laughed.
"It was all your own hard work." Jason said giving words to All Might's thoughts.
All Might patted Izuku on the back. "We'll have to fix those leaky eyes of yours. Now, It's time for the award ceremony, Izuku Midoriya!"
"Yes sir!" Izuku said, wiping his eyes
All Might reached up and plucked a single strand of hair from the plumes on his head. "This is something I was once told: "Something that you receive because you are lucky and something you are given because you are recognized are different in essence." Take that to heart. This is the power you earned because of your own effort."
Izuku's face became determined.
"Congratulations!" Anna and Elsa yelled.
"You earned this." Johnny said patting him on the back.
"Way to go." Rogue encouraged.
Izuku looked at Jason.
"Well?" Jason asked with a smile on his face. "What are you waiting for? We've got bad guys to catch."
All Might handed Izuku the strand of his hair. "…Eat this."
Everyone was shocked to various degree's
"Huh?" Izuku asked.
"What?" Jason and Johnny said.
"You mind running that by us one more time?" Rogue asked.
"Eww!" Anna said making a disgusted face.
Elsa covered her mouth.
"It doesn't really matter what it is, so long as you take in my DNA."
Jason's mind began racing, and finally he came to a conclusion. "Out of everything he could have chosen. It's actually the best-case scenario."
Johnny and Rogue thought about that.
"Dude." Johnny said. "That's kind of sick how quickly you thought that through."
"Why did you even think like that?" Rogue asked.
"Hey. I lived in Gotham. People in Gotham are sick and twisted individuals."
"What do you guys mean?" Anna asked.
"Trust me sugar. You're better off not knowing."
All Might looked at Jason before comprehension dawned on him. "Oh my."
"I don't think that you would actually use any of those methods." Jason said waving his arms. "It's just that..."
"No. I see your point. It is a bit vague, but luckily enough One for All has only been carried by Heroes with righteous intentions."
I looked from Jason to All Might back to Jason. "WAIT!" He yelled. "Why would you even think that?"
"Hey! I've seen things that would make you think just like me. I had to learn how to think fast and, on my feet, otherwise I could have been killed."
"What is this?" All Might asked. "Why do you say that?"
"Long story short." Jason said looking at All Might. "We aren't from here." He waved at Johnny, Rogue, Anna, Elsa, and himself. "We are from different universes. Ten years ago, we all showed up here as if we had been living here all our lives with memories of our families and friends, as well as our memories of the universe we came from."
All Might tensed for a second. 'Was it that fight? Ten years ago, I got into a fight with a Villain who had an unusual Quirk. Was it that fight that brought them here?'
"We have to go, or we will be late." Johnny pointed out.
Izuku took the hair and wrapped it up before he put it in his mouth and swallowed.
Jason tossed him his water bottle and he downed the entire bottle making sure to swallow the hair.
"Hey." Johnny said slapping Jason on the back. "Want to race to Main street."
"You're on." Jason said. "Hey guys!" He yelled running towards Main street. "Let's meet up at U.A.!" Before turning around. He jumped in the air, smacked his hands together and pulled them apart creating a black and red motor bike before racing off.
Johnny became the Rider and touched his motor bike causing it to become demonic looking. "Ah hell yeah! See you guys at U.A.!" He yelled before racing off after Jason.
Everyone else looked at Izuku. "See you at U.A.!" They yelled excitedly before taking off to get ready.
Izuku looked at All Might. "Um. Hello?" He poked All Might.
All Might shook his head. "Yes? Young Midoriya?" He asked shaken.
"I don't mean to bother you, but um. How exactly do I use One for All?"
Jason and Johnny were racing through the streets at speeds that normal bikes couldn't reach.
They were laughing and taunting each other as they sped towards Main Street.
Jason looked behind them and saw that not only were they tearing up the street literally, but they were also melting the asphalt.
They saw Main Street and sped towards it.
Just as they were about to cross the street a family started walking across.
'Shit!' Jason thought. He jumped in the air and made the bike disappear before creating a glider that he used to glide over the family.
Johnny wasn't so lucky. He turned to stop but ended up rolling his bike in front of the family. He rolled to a stop and his bike skidded.
"Are you guy's okay?" He asked.
The two kids that were with the family looked scared, and the adults looked angry.
"What the hell is your problem?" The dad asked. "Do you think that it's okay to put people in danger just for a street race?"
"Um... no."
"Then why did you do it?"
"Because we're young and stupid."
"Do you think this is a joke? You could have killed my family!"
Jason walked up. "Are you hurt?" He asked.
"NO, but we could have been."
Jason's danger sense went off and he backflipped out of the way as the man threw knives at them.
The knives melted on contact with Johnny's fire.
"What the hell!" Johnny yelled.
The man forgot about Johnny and lunged at Jason. "GIVE ME YOUR QUIRK!" He yelled.
"NO!" Jason yelled kicking the man.
The man grabbed Jason's leg. "GIVE! ME! YOUR! QUIRK!"
Jason could feel his energy being drained. 'Parasite.' He mumbled.
Johnny saw Jason go limp and charged the man. He spun him around. "Your soul is stained with the blood of the innocent! Look into my eyes and feel their pain!" He yelled.
Johnny saw the man walking around town stalking people before breaking into their houses and taking their Quirks before killing them. He had taken multiple Quirks, but he could only use them once. He saw him talking to a man shrouded in shadows. 'Bring me Jason Todd. You can take his Quirk as payment.' Then he was given a Quirk that gave him the ability to take multiple Quirks and use them as many times as he wanted. He took a brainwashing Quirk. He used it to rape and kill. He saw Jason and saw him use his Quirk to save Bakugo, and he needed his Quirk... no. He lusted for his Quirk. He stalked Jason, and all of them. He wanted to hurt them. He had lustful thoughts about Anna, Elsa, and Rogue, and wanted to take Jason's Quirk before taking them.
Johnny pulled free from the man's sins and let out a rage filled roar before throwing the man away and stalking after him.
Jason struggled to lift his head and looked at the man's 'family'. They looked lifeless. Their eyes had no soul in them.
Jason saw red.
Johnny knew that the man's soul had been seared, but he felt an overwhelming urge to beat him to death. There was an ominous pressure, and Johnny realized where his mistake was. He looked back to see Jason. There wasn't anything odd on the outside, but his eyes were black and red. "Oh shit."
White strips wrapped around Jason, and he went limp before falling to the ground.
"Who did that!" Johnny demanded.
"I did." A gruff voice said.
Johnny spun around. "Eraser Head!"
"Yes. Who are you?"
"Johnny Blaze. When I become a Hero, I'm going to take the name Ghost Rider... or Zarathos, one of the two."
"Hero?"
"Yeah. Jason and I were heading to U.A. when this guy came out of nowhere and tried taking Jason's Quirk. I-I used an ability and saw his sins. He was a monster." Johnny hid the fact about the man shrouded in shadows. He needed to ask Jason what to do about him.
"I know. I've been tracking him all summer." Eraser thought about this. "You two were able to stop him?"
"I guess so."
"Impressive. What do I need to know about... Jason?"
"His Quirk is dangerous. It's 'Hellfire Creation'."
"What!?"
"His Quirk. It's 'Hellfire Creation'. It's really dangerous. He loses his humanity the more he uses it."
"I see. Is it okay to let him go?"
"Wait! Have you been glaring at him this entire time?"
"Yes."
"Then stop. Jason won't hurt anyone so long as he keeps his humanity."
"What will happen when he loses his humanity?"
"The last time his humanity got too low he put a guy in the hospital after breaking all of his bones and giving him multiple third-degree burns. Last I checked the guy is still in a coma."
"And he wants to be a Hero?"
"Yes."
"When was the last time he lost his humanity?"
"Two years ago."
"I'll take you to U.A."
"Wait. Really?"
"You need to take the entrance exam, right?"
"Yeah, but what about Jason? This guy drained his strength."
"I'll get him to recovery girl."
"Can I come with you? I trust you, but someone did just try and kill him."
"No need to apologize. The paranoid live. I will let you follow me to the infirmary, but you need to get to the Exam."
"Thank you." Johnny said before grabbing his bike. He hopped on and followed Eraser Head towards the school.
When Jason woke up, he felt drained. "The hell happened?" He asked.
"Good, you're awake."
Jason jumped out of bed, spun around, and tried creating a Batarang, but failed. He dropped into a fighting stance instead.
"Good. You don't always rely on your Quirk."
"Eraser Head?"
"Yeah. How did you know my name?"
"My friend Midoriya Izuku is a huge Hero Fanboy. He has like thirteen books filled with notes on Heroes, or maybe it's fourteen now. You're in one of them."
"I see."
"What am I doing here? Where's parasite?"
"Para-who?"
"Parasite. The villain who attacked Johnny and I."
"He told you his name?"
"No. I saw his Quirk in action and dubbed him parasite."
"I see. You are very observant."
"I try not to rely on my Quirk. So, I have to be."
"What makes your Quirk so bad?"
"My Quirk isn't bad per say, but it can get out of control if I use it too much."
"What do you mean by out of control?"
"My Quirk has a very bad side to it. The more I use it, the more humanity I lose."
"Explain your loss of humanity."
"I become a berserker that can't be stopped. The last time I lost it... It took all of my friends to pull me off of the guy I was attacking."
"Why did you attack him?"
"He pushed one of my friends down the stairs." Jason clenched his hands into fists. "If my mom hadn't gotten there in time then Anna would be dead." His fists became black and red. "Last time I checked he was still in therapy and was going to need plastic surgery."
"Is there a reason why you mutilated him?"
"He nearly killed Anna!"
"But you took the law into your own hands."
"And I would do it again in a heartbeat."
'What is it about this kid? He has a fire that I haven't ever seen in a long time. It's almost like he knows how priceless true friends are and isn't willing to pay the price.'
"What time is it?" Jason asked. "I need to get to U.A. for the Entrance Exam."
"The Exam is over."
"WHAT! No! That can't be. I need to get into U.A."
"Please calm down Young Jason." A talking rodent said coming into the room.
"How hard did I hit my head?" He asked Eraser.
"You're not hallucinating Young Jason." The Rodent said. "I am Principle Nedzu of U.A.; am I a dog, a bear, a mouse? No one knows and I won't tell."
"Okay." He looked over at Eraser. "Do you see the talking rodent?"
"Do not disrespect Principle Nedzu."
"Okay. Just making sure."
"As I said Young Jason. You do not need to worry. You and Young Johnny have been given an exception on the Entrance Exam because you fought a Villain. That is equivalent to passing the Entrance Exam."
"What?" Jason asked. "Really? What about being labeled as Vigilante's?"
"We will say that that was self defense, and say that because you fought a Villain, you get into the Hero Course. Aizawa will watch you and if you show promise by the Sports Festival you will be allowed to stay, if not, then you will be transferred to General Education."
"What?" Jason asked.
"Congratulations Todd." Eraser Head said. "Welcome to U.A."
