As the friends walked into class 1A, they saw a tall kid with glasses telling Bakugo to take his feet off the desk.
"Who do you think you are!" Bakugo demanded. "Telling me what to do?"
"I am Tenya Iida, and I attended Somei Private Academy." The kid with glasses said.
"Somei!?" Bakugo asked. "So, you're part of the damn elite? I guess that I'll have fun crushing you."
"What!" Iida said. "Crushing? What do you mean?"
Jason grabbed Bakugo by the leg that was on the desk and lifted as high as it would go, then some, and dropped it with a crash that drew everyone's attention. "Shut the hell up Bakugo. The only thing you're crushing is my patience."
Bakugo glared at him. "How the hell did you make it into the hero course? I didn't see you at the exam!"
"I was in another lot." Jason said. "I got 98 points. How many did you get?"
Bakugo went quiet with rage.
"I thought so. Now sit down and shut up!"
Iida noticed Izuku standing in the doorway.
"You-you're..."
Everyone looked at Izuku.
"Oh, um..." Izuku stammered.
"Good morning!" Iida said before stalking up to Izuku. "I am from Somei Private Academy. My name is..."
"I heard!" Izuku yelled a little loudly and backed away. "I'm Izuku. Nice to meet you, Iida."
"Izuku, you realized there was something more to the practical exam, didn't you?"
"What?" Izuku asked.
"I had no idea... I misjudged you. I hate to admit it, but you are better than me."
"Um. Sorry. I actually didn't realize anything until after the exam when I talked to Jason. He's the one who told me about the hidden objective."
A girl came into the classroom. "Oh, that curly hair! You're the plain-looking one!"
"AHH!" Izuku yelled causing Johnny to burst into laughter. "That's Izuku for you. He sees a cute girl and freezes up."
"Hey!" Anna yelled.
"You want to repeat that hon?" Rogue asked with the thick accent she got when she was upset.
"What does that make us?" Elsa asked.
"I um..." Johnny said. "I didn't mean you guys. I mean... you're cute and all, but Izuku grew up with you. I meant other cute girls." Johnny looked at Jason. "A little help over here?"
"Hey." Jason said holding his hands up. "You made your bed. Now you need to sleep in it."
Jason felt something ominous, ever since accepting his Quirk fully he had been able to sense negative emotions, and he felt a lot coming from Bakugo. His ire was directed at Izuku. Jason looked over and saw that the girl was still talking to Midoriya. She was saying something about orientation, but he felt another emotion. It was directed at Anna. It was lust. Or something akin to it. He looked around and found the source. A kid with purple balls on his head instead of hair.
"Hey." The kid said to Anna. "How old are you? Maybe we could go out and..."
"Not on your life maggot!" Jason yelled punching the kid into a wall. "Keep your slimy mitts away from Anna or I'll burn them off!"
"And we'll help." Johnny said, the commotion making Elsa and Rogue stop their assault.
"What was he trying to do?" Rogue asked.
"Hey." A voice said from outside the class. "Go somewhere else if you want to make friends."
Izuku, Iida, and Ochaco looked outside and saw a man in a sleeping bag.
Jason went and looked outside. "Eraser head? What are you doing in the hallway? In a sleeping bag?"
"As of today, you may call me Aizawa Sensei." Eraser head said. "This is a Hero course after all."
Everyone looked at him as he climbed out of his sleeping bag.
"Okay." Eraser said. "It took you eight seconds before you guys got quiet. Time is limited, and you are not rational enough."
The class got quiet.
"Hello class." Eraser said. "I am your homeroom teacher, Shouta Aizawa. Nice to meet you."
Everyone looked at him as he pulled a gym uniform out of his sleeping bag.
"I know that this is kind of sudden but put on a uniform and meet on the field."
Meanwhile
All Might was in the library reading a manual. He got worried after reading that the U.A. Didn't follow the beaten path when it came to teaching, and that Aizawa had expelled his entire class the year before.
On the field.
"A Quirk assessment test?!" Everyone but Rogue, Johnny, and Jason yelled.
"Wait." Ochaco said. "What about the entrance ceremony? The orientation?"
"If you're going to be a Hero, you don't have time for such leisurely events." Eraser said. "U.A.'s selling point is how unrestricted its school traditions are. That's also how the teachers run their classes." He said turning to look at them. "You guys have been doing these since Junior High right?" He held up his phone. "We were sent your physical fitness tests while you weren't allowed to use your Quirks. Now I want you to show me what your Quirk can do. Bakugo. You finished the entrance Exam with the highest score. So, you'll go first." He tossed Bakugo a softball.
Bakugo looked at Eraser.
"What about Jason?" Iida asked. "He said that he scored a 98 on the practical exam."
"He lied. Jason didn't score on the practical Exam because he got into U.A. High due to subduing a Villain. In the process he was injured and missed the Exam. We, the teachers, determined that his skill was sufficient enough to enter U.A. High without taking the Exam."
Everyone looked at Jason in shock.
Bakugo looked at him with sheer hatred.
"So, as I see it." Eraser said. "Jason will go last because he didn't take the practical exam."
"I-I see Sensei." Iida said with a bow.
Bakugo walked into the softball ring.
"So long as you stay in the ring anything goes." Eraser said. "Now. Give it everything you've got."
Bakugo stretched. "Well then..." Bakugo blasted the softball away while shouting: "...DIE!".
The others became excited.
"That looks fun." One of them said.
Jason felt a spike of malicious joy.
"If you think this is fun." Eraser said. "The one in last place will be expelled."
Everyone looked shocked.
Johnny, Rogue, Anna, and Elsa looked at Jason who shook his head once.
"Welcome to the Hero Course." Aizawa said with a malicious grin.
"This isn't fair!" Ochaco exclaimed.
"Life isn't fair. Natural Disasters, Big accidents, selfish villains, calamities whose time or place can't be predicted. Japan is covered in unfairness. Heroes are the ones who reverse those situations. If you wanted to hang out with your friends after school, too bad. For the next three years U.A. will give you one hardship after another. Go beyond. Plus, Ultra. Now. Come on and overcome it with all you've got."
Everyone put their game faces on. It was time to get serious.
Test one. The fifty-meter dash.
For the fifty-meter dash everyone was paired up.
Jason and Johnny.
Jason let his eyes glow black and red enhancing his natural speed and dropped into a running stance.
Johnny dropped into a running stance and became the Rider. He had enhanced stamina and agility, but that was nothing compared to Jason's speed.
"On your Mark..."
Jason and Johnny got ready to run.
"Get set..."
They tensed.
"Go."
The two teens took off running and crossed the finish line neck and neck.
"4.50 Seconds."
"We tied." Jason said.
"Cool." Johnny said. "But if I'd had my bike then you would have lost."
"But you didn't."
"But if I did."
Anna and Elsa
Anna and Elsa walked to the starting line.
Anna drenched the ground with a layer of water, and Elsa froze it before creating a pair of skates for each of them.
"On your Mark..."
They got ready.
"Get set..."
They tensed.
"Go!"
The sisters took off and crossed the finish line with Elsa in the lead and Anna a millisecond behind her.
"3.50 seconds."
"3.51 seconds."
"That was pretty good." Jason said.
"Elsa has always been a better skater." Anna said.
"You beat our time." Johnny said.
"With Elsa's help." Anna blushed.
The friends turned to watch Rogue and the kid with the purple hair.
Rogue and Mineta.
Rogue walked up with the weird kid with the purple hair ogling her.
"You-you're so hot!" The kid said practically drooling.
"Quit ogling me. In fact. Quit ogling girls in general and you might find someone who likes you."
"On your Mark..."
Rogue waited for the right moment.
"Get set..."
She felt something touch her foot and looked down. She saw a line of purple orbs connecting her and Mineta.
"Go."
Rogue walked towards the finish line.
"WHAT!" Mineta yelled. "BUT YOU WERE SUPPOSED TO HAVE AN AWESOME QUIRK THAT WOULD HAVE CARRIED ME TO VICTORY!"
A Batarang cut the orbs connecting the two and Rogue flew towards the finish line.
"10.00 seconds."
Mineta ran across the finish line.
"15.39 seconds."
"It's not fair!" Mineta yelled. He failed to see the two guys and three girls come up behind him.
Eraser head saw them move in. "Next event!" He called out.
Test two: grip strength.
Each student was given a handgrip strength test.
Jason
Jason let his eyes glow and he pulled on the handle and looked at his screen when it beeped.
200 kilograms
There was some kid who had a grip strength of 540 kilograms. 'Cool.' Jason thought. 'I might want to fight him sometime.'
Johnny
Johnny became the Rider and pulled the handle on his test and looked at the screen when there was a beep.
300 kilograms.
'Hm. I wonder how I did compared to Jason?'
Rogue
Rogue pulled the handle on her grip strength test and broke it. "Um. Sensei." She said holding hers up. "I need a new grip strength test. I broke mine."
Aizawa handed her another one. "Be careful with this one."
"Okay. I will. Sorry." She said as she pulled on hers with just enough strength.
700 kilograms.
Aizawa looked at Rouge confused. 'Just how strong is she?'
Elsa
Elsa wasn't as strong as the others, she was strong, but not as strong as her friends. Even Izuku was stronger than her.
She looked over at Izuku. "Hey Izuku. What's your grip strength?"
"Um. 77 kilograms." Midoriya said sheepishly. "What's yours?"
"55." Elsa said glumly. "Hey Anna. What's yours?"
Anna looked at hers. "40." She said looking put out.
"Well we tried our best." Izuku said.
Test three: standing long jump.
They made their way to the standing long jump and waited their turn.
Jason
Jason took his stance and let his eyes glow before he sent all of his strength to his legs and pushed off. He landed halfway outside the sandbox.
Johnny
Johnny became the rider and jumped landing just outside the sandbox.
Rogue
Rouge jumped, flew, and landed five feet outside the sandbox.
Elsa
Elsa jumped and landed in the middle of the sandbox. "Dang it." she said.
Anna landed just barely behind her.
Izuku jumped next and landed a few feet in front of where Elsa landed.
Test four: repeated side steps
The went to the next test which was the repeated side steps.
They were supposed to step to the left before stepping back to the right for one minute.
Jason
Jason took his stance and began. He didn't even need to use his Quirk for this test.
One minute later he stopped.

Test five: Ball throw.
They made their way back to the softball field.
Jason
Jason let his Quirk completely take over covering him from head to toe leaving him in the suit.
He could hear everyone talking about his Quirk.
He pulled his arm back and threw it letting his Quirk enhance his strength to the max.
He threw the ball as hard as he could.
550 meters.
Johnny
Johnny walked up and took the ball. He changed into the Rider and launched the ball as far as he could.
617 meters.
Rogue
Rogue walked up and took the ball before pulling back and throwing it as far as she could
880 meters
Everyone looked at her in shock.
Elsa
Elsa took the ball and threw it with a bit of ice magic to give it some more distance.
76 meters.
Anna followed Elsa and threw her ball.
50 meters.
Izuku
Izuku walked up and took the ball.
'I have to use 'One for All' now. If I don't, I could be put in last place if I don't.'
"Don't do it!" Jason called out to him. "Remember. You can access your Quirk without hurting yourself! Concentrate! Don't worry about anything but throwing that. You have more than enough power."
"Shut up Todd!" Bakugo yelled. "Let this Quirkless nobody fail on his own!"
"Quirkless?" Iida asked. "Midoriya is not Quirkless. Did you not see him at the entrance exam?"
"What?" Bakugo asked. "What are you talking about!"
Izuku let 'One for All' power up and let it roll up his finger before putting 100% of the power into his finger letting it fly as far as it could go.

Izuku clenched his hand into a fist, clenching his teeth when the pain of his broken finger, and looked at Jason with an intensity in his eyes that Jason knew all too well.
'I won't stop! I won't stop trying to become a Hero!'
"WHAT THE HELL!" Bakugo yelled before charging Izuku.
Jason, Johnny, and Rogue ran after him while Anna and Elsa used their Quirks to tag team and freeze the ground, making it slick.
Jason threw out a black and red line that caught Bakugo's arm and tossed a chain to Johnny who cracked the end towards Bakugo grabbing his other arm.
Rogue flew over to Izuku and carried him into the air.
Cloths wrapped themselves around Jason, Johnny, and Bakugo.
"These are weapons of capture." Eraser head said. They are made of Carbon fiber woven together with metal wire made of a special alloy. Now calm down, and don't make me use my Quirk. I have dry eyes."
Eraser head let them go, and Jason and Johnny let go of Bakugo.
Rogue flew Izuku back to the rest of the class.
Test six: sit ups
They had one minute to do as many sit ups as possible.
Jason
Johnny held Jason's feet while Jason did his sit ups.
Thanks to the fact that Jason had good core strength from the alternate universe, and from the MMA Dojo in this universe, he was able to out preform everyone.
200 sit ups
Johnny
Jason and Johnny switched places and Johnny began doing sit ups.
120 sit ups
Anna
Elsa held Anna's feet while she did her sit ups.
72 sit ups.
Then the sisters switched places and Elsa began doing her sit ups
80 sit ups.
Rogue
Rouge didn't get paired up with Mineta for the sit up portion of the test, and she was thankful for that...
Until the kid with the electric Quirk started trying to flirt with her.
"You want to get a girlfriend, then don't waste time flirting. Just go and talk to them."
"Oh." The kid said. "My name is Denki Kaminari."
"My name is Anna Marie Darkhölme."
"Um... hi."
"Hello Kaminari. Now let's finish this test."
Kaminari held Rogue's feet while she did her sit ups.
150 sit ups.
Izuku
Izuku was paired with Ochaco.
He held her feet so she could do her Sit ups before they alternated where she held his feet.
He tried to push the pain of his finger to the back of his mind, but he couldn't' he let it drive him.
150 sit ups.
Test seven: Seated toe touch
The next test was the seated toe touch.
They sat against the wall and tried touching their toes to test their flexibility.
They all touched their toes.
Test eight: long distance run.
They went outside to run the long-distance run.
Jason and Johnny dropped into running stances and waited for Anna to tell them to go.
"On your Mark... get set... GO!"
The two took off running until they got to the end of their run.
Johnny had slowly pulled ahead throughout the race and crossed the makeshift finish line first.
Jason crossed two seconds after him, but still at an impressive speed.
After the long-distance run Aizawa released the results.
"Here are the results of the test."

"WHAT!" Mineta shouted. "NO! I CAN'T BE EXPELLED! I JUST CAN'T BE! THERE ARE SO AMNY THINGS I HAVEN'T DONE YET!"
"Well maybe if you didn't try and cheat." Rogue said.
"Maybe if you weren't a disgusting pervert!" Jason snapped.
"Enough!" Eraser said. "I was lying about the expulsion. It was a rational deception to draw out the upper limits of your Quirks."
"WHAT!" Most everyone yelled in unison.
Anna, Elsa, Izuku, Jason, Johnny, Momo, and Rogue were the few that didn't freak out. Izuku because he was too busy concentrating on the pain and relieved that he wasn't going to be expelled.
The others began talking amongst each other.
"There are handouts of the curriculum, and such in the classroom so when you get back, look them over." Eraser said walking away. He stopped by Izuku. "Have the old lady in the nurse's office fix you. Tomorrow will be packed with even more rigorous tests. Prepare yourself."
The class went to their respective locker rooms to change.
Principle Nedzu's office.
"So. What did you think?"
Jean and Principle Nedzu had walked to the field to watch class 1A before walking back to Nedzu's office.
"Young Todd surprised me."
"Oh?"
"Yes. When he ran after the boy with the explosive Quirk. I was able to look into his future."
"What did you see?"
"He was fighting a large man in a destroyed building next to All Might."
"I see. Did you see anything else?"
"Yes. Johnny. I saw him crash a flaming Semi truck into the man that Jason was fighting."
"Did you see anything else?"
"Yes. I saw Rogue. She was smiling. I saw lightning weave around her, but she was happy."
"That is good to hear."
"The sisters. Anna and Elsa."
"Yes?"
"I saw memories from Elsa. She was pulling Anna in a wagon and laughing. I felt Anna's memories though. For whatever reason she felt embarrassed."
"Do you know why?"
"No. I couldn't get a full read on her, but it felt like she might have been older. It shouldn't be possible to get that feeling from a child."
"I see. Thank you. Is there anything else?"
Jean walked to the window and saw Jason walking back to class with Johnny. She concentrated on him.
I-Izuku." Jason choked out.
"What is it Jason?"
"I know that you will become a Hero that will make All Might proud. I did what I could by making sure that you would survive, but the rest is up to you."
"No! Jason NO! You can't die! Jason!"
"The one good thing to come out of this war is that I'll be able to see my mom again." Jason said before the light left his eyes.
Jean stumbled back and fell to the floor gasping for breath.
"Jean!" Nedzu said. "What happened? What did you see?"
"There is a war coming, and unless we can stop it, Jason, and countless others will die."
Izuku was walking out of school feeling exhausted. 'Oh. I'm so tired.'
Someone grabbed his shoulder.
He turned around to see Iida. "Oh. Iida."
"Is your finger healed?" Iida asked.
"Yeah. Thanks to Recovery Girl."
"You seem tired. Was Class that hard on you?"
"Not really. Recovery Girls Quirk requires Stamina. So, it drains your energy."
"I see. What did you think of Aizawa Sensei?"
"Huh?"
"I thought. "This is the best of the best" and things like that. I didn't think that a teacher would encourage us with a lie."
"HEY!" A voice said. "You two!"
They turned around to see Ochaco running up to them.
"Are you two going to the station? Wait for me."
"Uraraka?!" Izuku asked.
"You're the infinity girl, right?" Iida asked.
"I'm Ochaco Uraraka. Um, you're Tenya Lida, and you're Deku Midoriya, Right?"
"DEKU?!" Izuku said in alarm.
"Huh? But during the fitness test, the boy named Bakugo said- Right?"
"Um... My real name is Izuku?"
"Huh? Then why does Bakugo call you Deku?"
"To make fun of me." Izuku said bowing his head in shame.
"An insult?" Iida asked.
"Oh." Ochaco said put out. "Is that right? I'm sorry, but Deku sounds like the word for "You can do it". So, I kind of like it. Can I call you that?"
Izuku went red in the face and started sweating. "YOU CAN CALL ME DEKU!" He shouted.
"Izuku?" Iida asked. "You're accepting it too easily! Wasn't it an insult?"
"Wasn't what an insult?" Johnny asked.
"Deku." Iida said.
"Oh. You mean the name that Bakugo gave Izuku when we were younger?"
"Yes. Did you know the true meaning?"
"Yes." Rogue said coming up to the group. "There are two meanings for it. One meaning being 'A person who can't do anything by themselves' and two. 'Someone who can succeed.' I'm paraphrasing on their definitions."
"So, what are we talking about?" Anna and Elsa asked coming up to the group.
"The definition of Deku." Johnny said.
"Was Bakugo talking crap again?" Jason asked coming up.
"When isn't he talking crap?" Johnny asked.
"Hello." Iida said changing the subject. "I am Tenya Iida."
They went around and introduced themselves before they headed towards the station to take them home.
They talked until they made it to their stop and got off.
"See you guy's tomorrow." Ochaco said.
The group waved goodbye to Ochaco and Iida before walking to their homes.
"So Izuku?" Johnny asked.
"Yeah?"
"What do you think about Ochaco?"
Izuku blushed.
Anna and Elsa cooed in unison.
Johnny nudged him. "Hey. I'm just giving you crap. If you like her then treat her right."
"That doesn't mean you can treat her like garbage." Rogue said. "I'll personally kick your butt if you treat her wrong."
"I know that you won't treat her wrong." Jason said.
"R-really?"
"Yeah. Because your mom raised you better than that."
Izuku felt a warm feeling come over him as he thought about what his mom had told him that morning.
'Izuku...' Inko had said. 'I think you're cool.'
"Yeah." Izuku said. "She did."
"So." Anna said. "Are you going to ask her out?"
"A-Anna!" Izuku blushed. "This is the second time we've talked."
"It has to start somewhere." Anna said mischievously.
"Oh no." Elsa facepalmed. "Once Anna gets it in her mind there's no stopping her."
The friends continued walking home enjoying each other's company.
