The next day the friends walked into class.
"So. What do you think Aizawa will have us do today?" Johnny asked.
"I don't know." Rogue said. "Maybe he'll have us fight each other."
They walked into class and saw Present Mic standing at the front of the class.
"I bet you guys thought you could get out of regular class work, didn't you?" He asked with a cheeky smile.
"I figured that we would have to do this but was optimistic that we wouldn't." Jason retorted.
"I see. Then sit down. We have class in a few minutes."
They sat down and began working on their English work.
Present Mic wrote four sentences on the board.
1. The man whom I most respect is my father.
2. That is the house in which I lived.
3. I well remember the day on which we met.
4. Please tell me all that you know.
"Now. Tell me which of these sentences is wrong." Present Mic said.
"Damn." Kaminari said. "This is sooo boring."
"Everybody Heads up!" Present Mic yelled. "Let's get this party started!"
Momo raised her hand up.
"Okay, Yaoyorozu, come on!"
"Number four is wrong. The relative pronoun is in the wrong place."
"Correct!"
After morning classes, they went to lunch.
"Whoa." Anna said. "This place is huge."
"Do you smell that?" Elsa asked.
The sisters sniffed the air.
"Chocolate." They said in unison.
The friends laughed at the sister's antics.
"Wow." Rogue said. "This is some really good food."
Jason took a bite out of some curry. "Wow. This is really good."
"Thank you." Lunch Rush: the Cook Hero said coming up to their table. "White rice is great comfort food isn't it?"
"Yes, and this curry is amazing."
Izuku began Fanboying over the fact that he was meeting Lunch Rush, THE Lunch Rush.
They continued their meal in comfortable conversation, and eventually it was time to go to afternoon classes.
"So, what's on the schedule for this afternoon?" Johnny asked.
"Hero Basic Training." Izuku said.
They were about to start talking when the door opened.
"I am..." All Might said. "...coming through the door like a normal person!"
"All Might!" Everyone said in unison.
"Wow." Kirishima said. "He really is a teacher."
"Wow. That costumes from the silver age isn't it?" Asui asked as All Might walked to the front of the classroom.
"The style is so different." Ojiro said. "I have goosebumps."
"I teach Hero Basic Training." All Might said. "It's a subject where you train in different ways to learn the basics of being a hero. This subject will have the most units in it." All Might struck a pose. "Let's get right into it! Today we will be doing... Combat training."
Jason felt a stab of malicious intent and looked around. He saw Bakugo with a predatory smile on his face.
"Combat?" Bakugo asked with that same wicked smile.
"Training?" Izuku asked with a gulp.
"And to go with that are..." All Might pointed at the wall. "...these."
25 lockers appeared from the wall panels, every other panel being a set of lockers.
Everyone was excited to see their costumes.
"After you change." All Might said. "Meet in ground Beta."
"Yes sir!" The class shouted.
All Might waited for the students to change.
Everyone walked out wearing their costumes.
Rogue was wearing a Yellow and green jumpsuit with a brown belt, a brown leather jacket, with yellow leather gloves, a green headband, and yellow knee-high boots.
Anna was wearing dark blue pants with a light blue long sleeved shirt and a black corset, she had a pair of Brown boots with pink soles and golden designs on the front, and a pink cape.
Elsa was wearing a light blue top with icy blue pants and light blue boots. Her Hair had been tied into a braid and went down her back.
Johnny was wearing a pair of black motorcycle boots with a pair of blue jeans and a plain blue T-shirt with a black leather jacket, and a chain that went from his right shoulder to his left hip.
Jason walked out wearing a pair of black combat boots with black tactical pants, gunmetal gray armor, a brown motorcycle jacket and a red motorcycle helmet that covered his face with two triangular eye slots.
All Might looked at the five teens. They were so much different in what they classified as costumes.
Jason's Costume hid his Identity to protect his loved ones while also giving him the options of gadgets and accessories.
Johnny's costume gave him camouflage, so long as he lost the chain.
Rogue's costume was perhaps the most unique out of the group with the exception of Anna. While Rogue's didn't offer her camouflage or much in the way of gadgets and accessories it did help to ensure that she didn't accidentally touch someone and take their Quirk or energy.
Anna's costume seemed to be designed with being cute in mind, but All Might got the feeling that there was something else in mind when she made it.
Elsa's costume seemed to reflect her Quirk more than having any practicality involved.
"They say the clothes make the man, young men, and ladies" All Might said. "Be fully aware... from now on... you are HEROES!" All Might looked at everyone. "That's great. You all look cool! Now, let us begin, you Zygotes."
Izuku was still in the locker room. He was looking at his costume.
His mom had it made by looking at his notebooks and found the costume he'd wanted ever since he was a kid.
His mom had told him that what she had said after that fateful day before Jason showed up kept bothering her and she couldn't believe that she had given up so easily when he kept dreaming about becoming a Hero. He kept chasing his dream. She told him that she would support him openly with everything she had from then on.
Izuku changed into his costume. His mother had put her feeling into getting him his costume, and he would wear it with pride. He ran out to Testing Ground Beta.
"Oh, Deku?" Ochaco asked.
"Uraraka!" Midoriya said in shock.
"That looks cool! It's really down to earth."
Izuku looked at Uraraka from the feet up in amazement.
"I should have written down what I wanted." Uraraka said rubbing the back of her head. "Mine ended up being a skintight bodysuit." She said nervously. "It's really embarrassing."
"I think Izuku really likes it." Anna said walking up to them.
Mineta walked up and looked at Anna and Ochaco. "The Hero Course is the best." He said practically drooling.
"No, you don't!" Jason said kicking Mineta out of the way. "Pervs like you don't belong in the Hero course. Either stop being a perv or leave!"
"You look good." izuku said to Ochaco.
"Y-you really think so?"
"Yeah."
"Thanks."
"You're welcome."
"Where did you get that?" Bakugo asked Izuku nodding to his costume. "The trash?"
"N-no." Izuku stammered. "My mom had it made for me for getting into the U.A."
"Oh. Are you so poor that your mom had to make it out of scraps?"
"Stop it Kacchan!" Izuku said harshly.
"DON'T... CALL ME... KACCHAN!" Bakugo yelled running to hit Izuku with his Quirk.
Jason spun around and kicked Bakugo into a wall before slamming him face first into the ground and ramming his knee into his kidney. "Do you really think you are going to surpass All Might like that? You won't! If anything, you will become a villain that he throws into prison... or worse. A villain he has to put down."
Bakugo blew the ground beneath him up and knocked Jason off.
Jason flipped in the air and threw a Batarang at Bakugo.
There was a pressure wave, and All Might sent the Batarang Flying and grabbed Bakugo and Jason. "This is not the way Heroes in Training should act!" All Might yelled.
"I'LL KILL TODD!" Bakugo yelled. "HE CAN'T DISRESPECT ME LIKE THAT!"
"The same way you disrespect Izuku all the time!" Jason snapped back.
"ENOUGH!" All Might yelled. "I don't want to give you two detention, but I will if I have to."
Jason and Bakugo looked at All Might before looking at each other.
"That's better. Now. Mingle away from each other."
Bakugo left and Jason went to talk to his friends.
"I'm sorry young Midoriya." All Might said coming up to him. "I will not show you favoritism or anything that would look like favoritism because if it were to come out about our connection it could look bad."
"I understand." Izuku said.
All Might looked at Midoriya's costume and saw the twin plumes on his head and the smile on the mask. He held back a laugh. 'It's so obvious that he based his costume off of me.' All Might composed himself and gathered the students together. "Now it's time for combat training."
"Sir!" Iida said raising his hand.
Izuku looked over at the hero in the robotic looking costume. 'Oh. That's Iida. He looks so cool!'
"This is the Battle Center for the entrance exam. So, will we be conducting urban battles again?"
"No!" All Might said. "We are moving ahead two steps! Most of the time fighting villains takes place outside, but if you look at the total numbers, atrocious villains appear indoors at a higher rate. Imprisonment, house arrest, backroom deals- in this society of heroes, truly intelligent villains hide in the shadows. For this class, you'll be split into villains and heroes and fight 2-on-2 indoor battles."
"Without basic training?" Asui asked.
"This is a real battle to understand those basics!" All Might said clenching his fists in front of him. "However, the key this time is that there is no robot you can just beat up."
"How will wins and losses be determined?" Momo asked.
"Can we beat them up anyway?" Bakugo asked in a bored tone.
"Will the punishment be expulsion like with Aizawa Sensei?" Ochaco asked timidly.
"How will we be split up?" Iida asked standing upright with his hand raised.
Isn't this cape crazy?" Yuga asked.
"Ugh." All Might grunted in exasperation. "I will answer all of your questions!" He opened a booklet.
'Is that a script?' Jason and Izuku thought in unison.
All Might cleared his throat. "The situation is that the villains have hidden a nuclear weapon somewhere in their hideout. The heroes are trying to dispose of it. The Heroes will have an allotted time to either beat the villains or get the nuclear weapon away from them. The villains need to protect the nuclear weapon for the allotted time or catch the heroes."
'Hm.' Izuku thought. 'This whole situation feels very American.'
All Might brought out a box with Lots written across the front in bold letters. "Teams and opponents will be determined by drawing lots." He said.
"They are being decided that haphazardly?" Iida asked in shock.
"Pros often have to make makeshift teams with heroes from other agencies." Izuku explained. "So maybe that's why they are doing it this way?"
"I see." Iida said fascinated. "The discernment to look ahead..." Iida bowed. "Please excuse my rudeness."
"It's fine." All Might said punching his fist in the air. "Let's go!"

"What about me?" Rogue asked.
"Oh." All Might said embarrassed. "Um. You can team up with Anna and Elsa."
"Okay." Rogue said walking towards Anna and Elsa.
Team L: Anna and Elsa Martin and Anna Marie Darkhölme
"Yay!" Anna shouted hugging Rogue.
"Think he paired us together for a reason?" Jason asked Izuku.
"Maybe." Izuku said. "If I were All Might I would pit us against Kacchan because of the fight earlier. I would want to see how we handle the situation. Do we fight Kacchan in a two on one match and completely destroy him like Villains, or do we tag team him and fight more fairly, or do we split up and one of us goes to face Kacchan and the other goes to fight Iida?"
"How do you want to do this? I'll take on Bakugo, or I'll take on Iida."
"I need to fight Bakugo. I need to show him that I'm not the same scared kid he used to bully in middle school."
"Then I'll fight Iida."
"How do you want to fight Anna, Elsa, and Rogue?" Johnny asked Ochako.
"You know them Best. How should we handle them?"
"Personally, I think that you should go take on Anna and Elsa since you can probably take both of them on and not completely steamroll them."
"Okay. So that means that you will take on Rogue?"
"Yeah. She's the strongest in our friend group, but Jason and I tie for second. I can hold my own against her."
"Right." Ochako nodded.
All Might called the teams who were going to fight, and the battles were intense.
Izuku and Jason fought Iida and Bakugo first.
Jason and Izuku were walking together through the halls when a Gauntleted fist came crashing down on top of them.
Izuku grabbed Bakugo's gauntlet and threw him over his shoulder. "RUN!" He told Jason. "I've got this!"
Jason took off for Iida, leaving Bakugo and Izuku to fight.
"FIGHT ME YOU DAMN NERD! YOU'VE BEEN LOOKING DOWN ON ME SINCE THAT DAY!"
"No I haven't!" Izuku said. "That was the day that I realized you weren't my friend, but I hoped that you would change your mind! That's why I still call you Kacchan!"
"DON'T CALL ME THAT!" Bakugo roared, letting off and Explosion.
Izuku rolled out of the way, and to his feet before motioning Bakugo towards him.
Bakugo took the taunt about as well as Izuku thought he would and charged at him, slamming an explosion down where he had been a second ago, and Izuku punched Bakugo in the face, knocking him to the ground.
Bakugo kicked Izuku's feet out from under him and got up snarling at him. He aimed his bracer at him. "This gauntlet stores my extra sweat allowing me to make a larger explosion!" He shouted. "NOW DIE!"
"BAKUGO DON'T!" All Might shouted over the comms.
Jason was walking until he arrived at the fifth floor where he heard Iida practicing lines for the role of a Villain.
"Welcome Hero!" He said. "I have been expecting you. Welcome. To my lair of evil." He waved his arms out.
"You do know that that's not how real Villains talk, right?" Jason asked.
"It's not?" Iida asked, shocked.
"No, It's not. A Villain is just like you or me. They don't think what they are doing is wrong... Well, most don't. You need to ask yourself why the Villain is doing this. Are they desperate? Do they need money for a loved ones operation? Are they crazy and want to watch the world burn? Are they being Blackmailed? So... Why are you here to blow up the city?"
"Oh! Me? I want to watch the world burn."
"Good. Because that makes this a hell of a lot easier."
"What?" Iida asked, confused.
Jason threw red and black marbles as well as a black and red bolo, but Iida dodged them and ran at Jason. As soon as he grabbed Jason, Jason activated the taser hidden in his suit, shocking Iida.
"That." Jason said as he walked past Iida and was about to touch the Bomb when he felt an Explosion and grabbed Iida out of the way before jumping out the window and rappelled down to the ground as an explosion took the roof off. "DAMN IT!" He roared as he dropped Iida and ran into the building.
Jason ran through the building until he saw Izuku and Bakugo lying on the floor, both unconscious. He picked Izuku up and threw him over his shoulder before grabbing Bakugo by his gauntlet and dragged him outside before placing them next to Iida. There wasn't much of Izuku's uniform left, but his respirator was still in one piece. He ripped both his helmet and Izuku's respirator off and watched his chest rise and fall, but there were lacerations and burns covering his body.
Bakugo on the other hand was bleeding from his head and likely had a concussion.
"Step aside young Jason!" All Might said.
"Iida is unconscious from getting shocked by my body taser, Izuku has burns and lacerations across his torso, and Bakugo has a concussion." Jason explained.
"Excellent work Young Jason. They need to be taken to Recovery Girl."
"Do you want me to take them?" Jason asked. "You have a class to teach."
"Very well." He took out a pad of paper and wrote a note explaining that Jason was taking them to the infirmary.
Jason looked at All Might. "Can you ask Ochako to take their gravity away? It will make carrying them smoother."
"I will instruct her to go with you so she can negate their gravity. Her team will go last."
"Thank you."
A minute later Ochako ran up to him. "Oh my gosh! Are Deku and Iida okay!?"
Jason winced at the use of the nickname Bakugo gave Izuku, but let it slide as he had other things to worry about. "Iida is just stunned. I tased him. Izuku... I don't know. He has burns and lacerations."
"Ooh! I hate Bakugo!" Ochako stamped her foot.
"What happened?"
"He aimed his gauntlet at Deku and pulled the pin! It created a HUGE explosion!" Ochako waved her arms wildly. "If Deku hadn't knocked Bakugo's legs out from under him and sent the explosion up then he might have died!"
Jason glared at Bakugo. He would have wanted to leave him here, but All Might told him to get him to the infirmary. "Here." He handed Izuku to Ochako with one arm. "Can you take his gravity away and carry him to Recovery Girl? Can you also take Iida's gravity away?"
"Sure!" Ochako said, taking Izuku's gravity away and walking over to Iida, taking his gravity away. "Wow. You're really strong."
"I had to be. I didn't rely on my Quirk because it was just too dangerous. So I spent my time training. Izuku, and I can deadlift, lift, and hold each other with one arm."
Ochako's eyes sparkled. "R-really?"
"Yeah. I'm sure that if you asked he could show you his training regimen, and he might let you sit on his back while doing push-ups."
Ochako blushed and Jason smiled. 'You're welcome Anna. The rest is up to you.'
"Let's get them to the infirmary." Jason said as he dragged Bakugo behind them... with all his weight causing him to drag across the floor.
When they arrived at Recovery Girl's office Ochako opened the door and placed Izuku and Iida on beds before Ochako replaced their gravity.
Jason flipped Bakugo on a bed to reveal his face and hands having been torn up.
"Oh, no. What happened?" Recovery Girl asked.
"Bakugo blew the roof off a training building and injured himself and Izuku. I tased Iida with my body taser."
"Well, get back to class. I'll have to wait for them to wake up before I can heal them."
"Thank you." Jason bowed before they left, heading back to Ground Beta.
When they arrived back at Ground Beta there were two fights left. They asked for an update, and received them. The fights following Jason and Izuku's were not as intense, and Izuku's friends were angry that Bakugo tried to use him as a punching bag, which made them miss the fights in between the first and the last.
Finally, it was the last fight.
"Team K vs. Team L." All Might said. "With Team K being the villains and Team L being the heroes.
Ochako and Johnny looked at Anna, Elsa, and Rouge.
"Sorry." Johnny said to them.
"It's only fake." Anna said. "Right?"
"Yeah. It's only fake."
The group walked to their building and Ochako and Johnny walked in first.
"Okay." Johnny said. "Since this is Anna, Elsa, and Rogue I'm going to take on the role of a Villain. I want to make this as real as possible. Do you want to stay with the nuke and I'll go hunting? You're going to see me do some pretty fucked up stuff."
"What are you going to do?"
"I'm going to take up the role of the kind of person I hate the most." Johnny said before changing into the Rider.
Five minutes later Anna, Elsa, and Rouge walked in.
"Where do you think they are?" Anna asked.
"I'm not sure." Rogue said. "But we need to be careful. Johnny is skilled, and I'm sure that he's going to show the class that this isn't a game."
"But we have the advantage though... don't we?"
"Johnny is used to fighting against the odds remember."
"What about Ochako?"
"If we can take Ochako out first then we might have a chance."
"Um... guys." Elsa said in a worried tone. "We lost the element of surprise."
Rogue and Anna turned around to see Johnny walking up to them.
"Well, well, well." Johnny said as the Rider. "What do we have here? Three little girls ripe for the taking."
Anna and Elsa threw water and Ice at him, but Johnny melted the Ice and evaporated the Water creating a steam cloud, giving him the element of surprise.
Rogue knew what Johnny was doing and took her role, flying at Johnny she threw him into a pillar. "Is this how you have fun? Attack defenseless girls?"
"I would just like to point out that you aren't defenseless." Johnny said. "You're Heroes."
"Shut up!" Rogue yelled punching Johnny through the pillar.
"Your blood is too pure, look into my eyes and become tainted!" Johnny shouted a bullshit stare, freezing Rogue before turning his stare on Anna and Else, who followed Rogue's lead and froze.
"Right." Johnny said before he walked to the girls and tied them up with his chain. "So many ways to have fun, so little time.?" He said, poking Anna before saying "Done."
Anna looked sick but sat down.
Johnny went to Elsa and poked her. "Done." He said.
Elsa felt sick but sat down.
"Get the hell away from me!" Rogue spat.
Johnny poked Rogue but fell down.
Rogue broke from her restraints and kicked Johnny with enough force to send him through the building before flying through the building to the top to find the bomb. She flew into the last room and saw Ochako with all of the office supplies from this floor as ammo, and she threw it before releasing its gravity. Rogue had to be careful because Ochako wasn't Jason or Johnny. She couldn't tank a hit from anything Rogue sent her way.
A chain tied around Rogue and pulled her back towards Johnny. "We weren't finished." Johnny said in a pleading tone. "Let's finish our game."
Rogue kicked her foot, sending Johnny flying outside the side of the building and flew at Ochako to grab the bomb, office supplies be damned.
"This battle is done." All Might said through the loudspeaker. "The Villain team wins!"
Elsa, and Anna came out of the building, while Johnny walked around the building looking no worse than he had twenty minutes ago.
"Let's never do that again." Rogue said, flying Ochako down to the ground. "You two are way too good at being bad guys."
"I feel really sick." Johnny said. "I don't like being the villain."
"How do you think we feel?" Anna shuddered. "I mean I know it was fake, but it was still messed up."
"I know, but it was the only thing that I could think of to teach the class that this isn't a game."
All Might came down to them. "I would like to discuss this in more detail, but Ochako, Johnny. You two were surprisingly good villains."
"Please don't say that." Ochako said.
"The fact that you feel this way means that you are on a good path. Keep up the hard work, and I will see you later."
With that All Might left them.
The rest of the class came over to them.
"Um." Hagakure said nervously. "Why did you guys choose to portray the villains the way you did?"
"Because." Johnny explained. "Did you think that was a game?"
"No."
"That's why."
"Dude! You totally gave me chills!" Karishima shouted.
"It was supposed to. I wanted to make you think. This isn't a bunch of seven year old's playing Heroes and Villains. This is us training to be Heroes in a world where people like that exist. Not everyone is a versatile as myself and Rogue, but..." He glared at Minetta. The Rider was begging to sear the perverts soul, but there was a chance that he could change. A small chance. Johnny didn't know it, but he was going to regret not letting the Rider Sear the grapes soul.
The friends were in Class 1A when the door opened and Iida, Izuku, and Bakugo shambled in.
"Dude!" Karishima said to Bakugo. "That was intense! Did you really have to do that Midoriya!?"
"BITE ME!" Bakugo snapped.
"Okay, but I don't you you'd enjoy it as much as I would." He smiled his shark teeth at Bakugo. "Just tell me when and where."
Bakugo looked so taken aback that he jolted backwards as if he weren't in control of his body. "What?" He asked too confused to be mad as he was leaning against Aizawa Sensei's desk.
"I'm Gay bro. You said to bite you. I asked when and where."
Bakugo looked like his brain was fried. He grabbed his stuff and headed home in complete silence.
"Holy shit!" Johnny said as he looked at Karishima. "I have never seen Baku-Bitch that flustered before."
"Baku-Bitch?" Karishima asked.
"It's a nickname we gave him in middle school. He wanted to be a bitch, he could be a bitch."
"He's more of a Drama Queen than Jason and Elsa!" Anna said. "I didn't think it was possible."
"Don't call Bakugo that." Karishima said. "Maybe that nickname is why he's so angry."
Jason, Johnny, Rogue, Anna, and Elsa looked at each other before saying: "Nah." In unison. "He's Angry because he's mad that he's a Pomeranian... or maybe a hedgehog." Jason said.
"Dude." Karishima said. "What's your beef with Bakugo?"
Jason looked at Izuku who shrugged and left.
"He bullied Izuku every chance he got since he got his Quirk. All because Izuku's Quirk was too O.P. for his body to handle." Jason explained. "That's why." He said as the friends left leaving Karishima to watch them leave.
The friends were leaving the school that day when they were stopped by All Might. "Good Afternoon children." He said.
They greeted All Might.
"I wanted to talk about class today."
The five students shuddered at that.
Izuku looked at them. They had told him how class went after he left, but apparently, he'd missed something.
"First off I wanted to say that I am concerned that you thought to do that." He looked at Johnny.
Johnny looked at him.
"I'm not proud that I did that." Johnny said. "But that is a very real threat in the field. Villains are not rational, and some of them are twisted to a point that they don't care who they hurt."
"Exactly. I wanted to thank you for showing that no matter how uncomfortable it made you."
"Well it was either that or leave them powerless and beat them to near death with a crowbar and blow them up." Jason said
"You really showed the dangers that Heroes can face, and I will be going over that in greater detail next class."
"I'm glad that something good came out of our discomfort."
With that All Might went one way, and the friends went another.
As promised, All Might went over the previous class during the next class.
"Who can tell me why Johnny's villain portrayal were so important?" All Might asked.
The class was silent.
"No one?"
The class stayed silent.
"Very well. The reason Johnny's villain portrayal were so important is because there are villains like that out there. There are villains out there who do not care who they hurt, how they hurt them, when they hurt them, why they hurt them, what they hurt them with, and where they hurt them. These villains are more dangerous than your average villains and are classified as Supervillains."
The class stayed quiet.
"Normally we don't go over this until you get your provisional licenses, but after what happened last class it's a subject that needs to be discussed."
"Why isn't it covered earlier?" Asui asked.
"It is a serious subject that we want you children to be mature enough for that talk."
"I see."
The rest of the class was kind of downcast after that.
Principal Nedzu's office.
Principal Nedzu and Jean watched the recording of Ochako and Johnny vs. Anna, Elsa, and Rouge before watching Jason and Izuku vs Iida and Bakugo.
"What did you think?" Principal Nedzu asked.
"I think we should be glad that Young Johnny is not villains." Jean said. "If he were to apply that to either side of the fight his opponents would be in trouble. Young Jason's fight was interesting. He took time to help Young Iida understand that there are different types of villains, and that is rare. Someone who understands Villains better than we do."
"I agree. Where you able to see anything?"
"Yes, but what I saw was disturbing."
"What did you see?"
"Memories."
Principal Nedzu looked at Jean. "Do you feel comfortable explaining?" He asked.
"Jason was killed."
Principal Nedzu looked shocked. "What?"
"Jason Todd was killed by a supervillain."
Principal Nedzu looked out the window in concentration. "Perhaps we should call Young Jason and his friends in and discuss this in greater detail."
Hero Basic Training was interrupted when Anna, Elsa, Jason, Johnny, Izuku, and Rogue were called to Principal Nedzu's office.
The six friends made their way to Principal Nedzu's office and waited to be called in.
"Good to see you children." Principal Nedzu said in a friendly tone. "How are you enjoying U.A. High?"
"It's pretty cool." Johnny said. "I mean it's really cool learning how to be a Hero instead of trying to figure it out on our own."
Jean got a glimpse of a man becoming a flaming skeleton for the first time.
"Excellent, excellent. I asked Black San if she would watch your classes for a few days and tell me her thoughts. You six interested her greatly."
Jason tensed ever so slightly.
"Please calm down Young Jason." Principal Nedzu said. "Black San is a Hero counselor of sorts."
"You have some kind of Psychic Quirk." Jason said looking at her.
"Yes, I do."
"You've been watching us, specifically haven't you?"
"Yes."
"What did you find out?"
"You might want to sit down."
chairs were brought in and the friends sat down.
"My skillset is very wide." Jean said. "My Quirk gives me telepathy as well as the ability to see the most likely course of action an individual's life will go. I can see memories, and sense emotion."
"Why do I get the feeling that you aren't telling us everything?" Jason asked.
"Because I'm not. My Quirk is in constant flux. Sometimes I show a new ability, and other times I lose an ability I had."
"Sounds dangerous." Rogue said.
"It is. I have had episodes in the past, but I have been able to control my Quirk long enough to get a job where I can help Heroes, and to answer your question I take time off when I have bad days."
Elsa put her hand down.
"What did you find that was so troubling?" Jason asked. "You and I both know that we wouldn't be here if you didn't find something that terrified you."
"You're right. Over the week I have gotten flashes from all of you... Even you young Midoriya."
Izuku's face heated.
"What where they?" Rogue asked.
"There is a war coming." Jean said. "And it's a war that will test the limits of Heroes and non-Heroes alike."
"We are a focal point in this war, aren't we?" Jason asked.
"Yes. For one thing you all lose your families."
"WHAT!" The friends yelled in horror.
"Yes. Three years from now you will all be put in horrifying circumstances that will either break you or push you past your limits."
"We all die, don't we?" Jason asked.
"Everyone but Izuku. Your deaths are what pushes him to end the war, but the cost was too great."
"I know that this is difficult to hear." Principal Nedzu said. "But I will not force you to listen to it if you don't want to."
"A little late for that." Johnny said. "We have an invested interest in it now."
"Very well."
Jean told the friends that Anna and Elsa were forced to kill their parents, and completely shut down afterwards, eventually dying in an attack because they were practically catatonic.
The sisters broke down into sobs and hugged each other tightly promising that they wouldn't do that.
Jean told Rogue how a group of villains forced her to hold her mom and absorb her mom's Quirk until she killed her.
Rogue held a hand to her mouth and cried tears of rage.
Jean told Johnny how he was force to watch as his mom crushed his dad underneath a car and left him there to die an agonized death before killing herself.
Johnny wasn't sure which emotion to feel and became the rider allowing his flames to grow hotter and waver as if he were crying.
Jean looked at Jason. "You are forced to watch as a man touches his hand to your mom and decays her completely. Her last words to you were 'Fight.'."
Jason clenched his fists and teeth in rage.
Jean looked at Izuku. "After the deaths of their parents and Anna and Elsa. You, Jason, Johnny, and Rogue, as well as your classmates, stage an offensive to bring the villains down. Rogue is the first to fall followed by Johnny. Rogue is killed by 'Decay' while Johnny is crucified to a silver cross and drown in Holy Water."
Rogue and Johnny flinched.
"What about Jason?" Izuku swallowed the lump in his throat.
"He is killed due to blood loss. He dies in your arms and says that 'the only good thing to come of this war is that he gets to see his mom again.' He dies moments after that. Their deaths give you the motivation and push you to reach your full potential and beat the villains back, but when asked how you felt now that the war was over you said that the cost of winning was too great. You remain the symbol of peace, but you look at the world in a new light."
Principal Nedzu watched the children. "I would ask that you not tell anyone else about this."
"You said that it was the most likely outcome... right?" Jason asked quietly.
"Yes. It is the most likely outcome of events to come, however you have the possibility to change them."
"That's why you told us, isn't it?" Jason asked. "You told us in the hopes that we can change that to another possibility."
"Yes."
"Well then you can kiss that future goodbye because I'm going to do everything in my power to make sure it doesn't happen."
"That's what I wanted to hear." Jean said with a smile.
"I know that this is very troubling news." Principal Nedzu said. "But please keep what you have heard today to yourselves. Black Sans Quirk must be kept secret."
"You can count on us." Jason said.
After school Jason created a motorbike and drove off as fast as he could push it.
Johnny grabbed his bike and drove off after Jason.
Rogue picked Anna, Elsa, and Izuku up before flying to Dagoba Municipal Beach Park.
When they got there, they saw Jason looking out at the water.
"Jason?" Anna asked.
"I refuse to let that future happen." Jason said without turning. "I won't let you guy's die."
"What about you?" Rogue asked.
"If I have to die so you guys live, I'll make that sacrifice."
Izuku punched Jason in the face, knocking him to the floor.
Everyone looked from Izuku to Jason back to Izuku.
"WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU!" Izuku yelled. "I WAS THE ONLY ONE LEFT ALIVE AFTER YOU ALL DIED! YOU DIED IN MY ARMS!"
The friends were horrified. They had never seen Izuku so mad.
"What's your problem?" Jason asked rubbing his jaw.
"You were the first person that truly believed in me." Izuku panted. "Even when I didn't believe in myself, you did."
"Izuku..."
"NO! You don't get to talk! None of you guys are dying!"
"We can train to get stronger." Johnny suggested. "We did it for ten months what's three more years?"
"What if that training is what leads us to killing our parents?" Elsa asked.
"It won't hon." Rogue said. "We'll make sure of that."
Everyone looked at Jason.
"What?" Jason asked.
"Do you have a death wish?" Rogue asked.
"No."
"Then why throw yourself to your death when we have a chance to change the future?"
"I... I just don't want to lose you guys."
"Do you think it would be any easier for us to lose you?"
"I don't know."
Izuku walked over and chopped Jason in the head.
"Ow! What the hell!"
"You're an idiot, you know that?"
"What!"
"You're an idiot."
"Though we can't really blame you." Rogue said. "From the time you were six, the first time, you haven't had the best life. You never really learned that your life really does matter."
"What are you talking about?"
"In your first life did you have the kind of life like you do now?"
"No."
"Would you rather live this life or your first life?"
"This life." Jason said without hesitation.
"It's because you have the life you want here. You live with a mother who loves you and would never abandon you."
Jason thought about that. "You're right. I'm so afraid that this life will turn out like my previous life that I almost let it happen again."
"Then let's make sure that doesn't happen." Izuku said, reaching down to offer Jason a hand up.
Jason grabbed Izuku's hand and pulled himself up.
"We're going to stop this war." Johnny said. "And anyone who stand in our way..." He changed to the Rider. "...Won't like the consequences."
The others nodded in agreement.
"Let's go home." Rogeu said.
The friends walked home not really sure what to expect, but whatever it was they would face it together.
Jean watched the friends leave the Beach park.
"You know what Shigaraki." Jason said. "You might think that you can kill our parents and our friends, but you can't, and to make sure that you can't..." Jason pulled the trigger sending a red and black bullet through Shigaraki's brain.
"NO!" All Might yelled. "Why would you do that!"
"He was a monster All Might. There was nothing you could do. He didn't want to be saved. He wanted to kill."
"But you don't understand..."
"No! You don't understand. He would have killed until everyone, but the villains were dead or in their prisons. And you wanted to let that thing live?"
"He was just lost!"
"No. He made his choice, and so did I."
Jean watched the friends in horror. "What have I done?"
