Summary: Marcus' is struggling to get Oliver to relax as they begin their holiday.
Enjoy the Sun
Marcus leant on the railing of the balcony, the ocean breeze keeping the heat of the noon sun at bay. He could hear other occupants of the ship chatting on their balconies somewhere and his own beloved making his own racket in their room.
He turned to lean back on the railing, putting his elbows on it and watched Oliver paced around the room. They'd barely left the port, they were meant to be relaxing for the next month after an intense Quidditch season with their teams, but like everything that made Oliver a good captain that saw his team to victory time and time again, he had exacting standards about a lot of things. Including how the room needed to be laid out.
"How are you going to explain the fact that you've shifted a bed that was screwed to the floor to the other side of the cabin?" he called into him.
"Have you or have you not met Hermione Granger?" Oliver asked, flicking his wand at the wardrobe doors so that the clothes could take themselves into it.
"Ah yes." Marcus didn't need to hear anymore. She knew more magic than most Purebloods, which had definitely been a godsend when they'd started their little clandestine affair during their last year of Hogwarts.
Slowly he walked into the cabin, a lazy grin on his face as he paused to let his eyes adjust to the dark room. He latched onto Oliver's wrist and pulled him back outside into the sun.
"What?" Oliver asked in confusion, glancing back at the last of their clothes.
"Breathe," Marcus said with a smirk, pulling him to the railing. "Relax. Enjoy the sun. Remember that you are my universe and we don't need the bloody bed facing the west, you little Gryffindor weirdo!"
He laughed at Oliver's outraged face before giving him a lingering kiss.
"It's a good job I love you," Oliver said with a pout.
