The strawberry blonde groans loudly at the incessant poking in her lower back and buries her face even further in her ruffled pink sheets and covers.
And then she hears the slightly nasally laughter in the corner of her neck. And that would explain why she feels so warm. She relaxes a bit, and memories of the previous night come running back. Sometimes it was good that her parents worked late and trusted her a little too much.
She heard them moving around early this morning before leaving the house completely silent again. The silence is familiar, only this time she had Chrissy next to her.
Selfishly, she allows Christie to litter kisses all over her neck even though she knows they should separate. J moans as Christie's kisses begin to lower, unraveling the sheets wrapped around her body.
Jazmine's heart speeds up as Christie takes in her naked frame from last night before kissing between her thighs. Jazmine's moans become louder as the blonde begins to devour her again.
Quickly covering her mouth, she enjoys the pleasure she receives from the blonde girl, her back arching against the bed. And as she came, she was reminded of why this 'relationship' with Christie was so addictive.
(*)
The blonde girl knows all her triggers and weak spots; she knows everything that makes her pussy soaking wet. Christie is the more dominant of the two and knows that her fiery and aggressive nature turns the strawberry blonde on.
Even though Christie's family has enough money to rival the McPhersons and looks like Regina George incarnate, she doesn't actually prefer the male specimen. To the blonde, boys were play toys, a means to an end.
She was obsessed the first time she set eyes on her little squirrel. She wanted her and knew that in time she would have her. The taunting and teasing were just fun little games that Christie used to get the girl's attention.
Christie knew J was the one when she discovered how much she liked her teasing and prodding. The strawberry blonde wasn't as innocent and loved every bit of it. From that moment forward, Jazmine was hers.
The two girls make out until J's alarm goes off.
"Let's skip," Jazmine mumbles against Christie's lips.
Christie contemplates this for a moment before siding against it. Thinking of everything she has to take care of today makes her rigid.
Feeling the sudden change, Jazmine desperately kisses Christie. "What's wrong?"
"Nothing. As much as I enjoyed last night and this morning," She starts, a teasing smirk on her lips, "I can't skip, squirrel."
Jazmine pulls away, and Christie pulls her back into a devastating kiss, licking her lips, begging for entrance which she allows.
The two girls shower together and make out a little bit more. Christie slides into one of Jazmine's oversized pink hoodies and sweatpants sets, and if she steals a pair of the strawberry blonde's underwear on her way out, she doesn't notice.
Christie walks a couple of houses down to get to her white G-Wagon that she parked outside a house that's up for sale. She checks her surroundings before starting up her car and speeding off.
However, the blonde didn't check well enough.
(*)
Still covered in her pink robe, Jazmine watches Christie disappear down the street. Her mind is clouded as everything that happened settles in. She felt slightly annoyed at herself for letting her guard down with Christie.
She didn't want to fall back into things with the blonde girl because they just weren't good for each other. Jazmine knows that Chrissy will always do whatever it takes to get what she wants, even if it means losing her.
She cleans up her room, puts discarded clothes in the hamper, picks up pillows, and makes her bed. Her second alarm goes off. She started setting two just in case she overslept again.
Looking out her window again, she spots Melanie beginning to approach the Freeman's residence.
The strawberry blonde knocks on the window rapidly to get the girl's attention, and after a few minutes, Melanie stops and turns around.
"They're not home." Melanie just stands there and motions that she can't hear.
Rolling her eyes at herself, Jazmine pulls up her window. "Huey's not home."
"How did you know I was looking for Huey?"
"None of the Freemans are home," Jazmine corrects.
"That still didn't answer my question," Melanie says, laughter in her voice. "I was just looking for someone to hang with."
"Oh, well, I do need to go to the mall."
"The mall? Girl, who are you meeting at the mall?" Now it was Jazmine's turn to laugh, Melanie's smile being just so contagious to her.
"I have to pick up a gift for Cindy's birthday this Saturday."
"Can't you just use Amazon?"
"Not for this, but you can come with me if you want."
Melanie pauses and gives Jazmine a contemplative look even though she's already made up her mind. "Sure girl, I'll roll, but the minute I see you with a dude, I'm telling."
Jazmine bursts into laughter again. The strawberry blonde never knew Melanie could be so funny. "Okay, I'll be down in a minute.
(*)
"So, what type of gift are you getting again?"
"It's a surprise," Jazmine replies, sipping from her big blue freezie. The mall was practically empty at this time of the morning, but the two girls didn't care; they were living for it.
Jazmine didn't care for large crowds of people anyway. Huey doesn't either, and that's why she initially picked this time instead of after school, but what can she do?
Melanie takes a long sip from her sour green apple freeze before replying, "Well, I can tell you mine. I got her a ring light. It's nothing too crazy, but she told me that she likes to do hair and is thinking about posting some of her work on social media."
Jazmine stops and stares at Melanie in shock.
"What?"
"I'm just in awe. That's an amazing gift, Melanie."
"Thanks. I like to think I'm a good gift giver."
"It's just what she needs! Cindy's amazing at what she does. I know she's still learning, but she worked at Chateau Glamour over the summer."
"What's Chateau Glamour?"
"Our friend, Ed's girlfriend, works there, and she, as Cindy said, 'put yo girl on.' "
"That's fire. Maybe I'll let her do my hair. It's been hard to find a consistent stylist in Woodcrest."

"Oh, we're here." The two girls enter the store, where the walls are completely covered in blue and pink graffiti. The music wasn't too loud, but it was above the normal level it should be at this time of day.
The two teens look at each other, trying to hide their laughter. "It's only 10 am but go off," Melanie says, causing J to burst into laughter.
"Hey, can I help you with anything?" A woman asks as she approaches them. Her white shirt was covered in matching graffiti, the words spelling out 'The Joint.'
Quickly recovering, J replies, "Yes, I called last week and talked to someone named Holly."
"Hi, I'm Holly. What is your name?"
"Jazmine."
"Dubois? Yeah, I remember you, come with me to the front desk. I can take care of you there."
As the strawberry blonde followed the lady, Melanie stayed behind and looked at some things on the racks and walls.
Melanie couldn't help but think that this was the perfect place for Cindy, it fits the girl's style. However, Melanie wouldn't dare be caught wearing anything of this variety. It just wasn't her style. She could see a bit of Chicago influence as she walked around the store.
Her eyes stop on a dark blue jean jacket. Melanie runs the fabric between her fingers as she admires its texture and design. And almost instantly, she was swooped into a memory.
…
The music was loud. Too loud. She had been to house parties before, but something about tonight felt different.
"Damn, this shit jumping like a bitch. Hold on," Cairo says as he stops next to her. He pulls the blunt from behind his ear and shakes his orange Bic lighter before cupping his hand and firing up.
"Aye yo," The boy calls out to a guy walking past. Melanie met him before; he sometimes hung outside with Cairo on his porch. "Where Huey at?" He asks, slightly jerking his head to the side.
"He's up in here somewhere. I seen 'em somewhere in the backyard."
"Cool." Cairo takes a drag, smoke filtering from his lips.
Melanie was hypnotized.
"Aye, what's up, shorty?" The guy greets, his eyes meeting Melanie's as her attention is directed at the smoke filtering from Cairo's lips.
"Yo, Mel, why don't you go find Huey, go have fun or somethin'."
"What? She ain't never been to a party?"
"Barely. She always got 'er nose stuck in a book."
"Well, she fine as hell, yo."
Cairo's hazel eyes meet Melanie head-on as he repeats, "Go on and have fun, shorty. I'll catch up witchu' later."
Melanie rolls her eyes, but she knows not to question it and moves along, heading towards the kitchen. Finding a bag full of stacked red cups, Melanie takes one and proceeds to randomly pick drinks to add to her cup. She mixes something brown and clear with a boatload of pink lemonade and Sprite.
Taking a sip, Melanie didn't think it tasted so bad. She could definitely smell the liquor, but she couldn't really taste it, which was the whole point. Finishing her second cup, she mixes up more before moving to another room.
Walking into the crowded living room, Melanie felt herself being swept away by the music. She faintly heard a few people whisper the name Stacy while in the kitchen, and even though Melanie didn't know who the girl was, she had to give props when it was due.
She could feel the beat in her bones as she swayed side to side, her arm raising every now and again as the beat resonated within her soul. Melanie didn't care what type of songs were played; she got more and more lost in the beat.
A few girls joined in with the teen before being swept up by other people. It didn't matter. She didn't need a partner.
As 'Trackstar' begins to blast from the speakers, Melanie makes another drink run quickly, mixing the same things up again. She stops midway, trying to remember if she had even added enough lemonade and Sprite this time.
Shrugging, Melanie heads back to the living room, lifting what may be her fifth cup tonight to her luscious lips only to have it stolen from her hand by Cairo.
"Hey," Melanie protests and the light-skinned boy just smirks, downing her drink within a few seconds.
"You don't need to be drinking all that anyway. You had enough."
"This my first drink," Melanie lies before cursing, her slurring being a dead giveaway.
"Bullshit. I seen yo ass."
"What, you stalking me?"
Cairo doesn't reply. A moment later, Melanie feels a warm and tall presence pressing up against her. She could feel Cairo's long fingers pulling her hips against his, and she moved accordingly, almost as if it were muscle memory. His tight grip was comforting to her.
"No, not here," Melanie whines, her hormones almost getting the best of her. She can feel his member pressing against her ass, her eyes rolling back at the feeling of him. At how he makes her feel right now.
Melanie doesn't even know why she's acting so shy; she knows if Cairo wanted to bend her over right now, in the party, she would let him. She loves how he can make her do things she would never do with or for anyone else.
He litters kisses on her neck, and she quickly covers her mouth with the back of her hand to conceal her moans. "Then watch yo fucking tone," he says, his lips brushing along her neck and cheek. Cairo throws her cup away and disappears.
Trying to pull herself together was a struggle, but Melanie didn't dare get anything else to drink. Cairo was right, and she had her reasons for listening to him. Instead, she returned to the music, adding a little more twist in her hips, knowing that Cairo was watching. Melanie always felt the need to impress him.
'Close' by Ella Mai began to play, and Melanie threw her head back in joy. She loves this song. However, her excitement didn't last long as she spotted Huey going upstairs. Abandoning her post on the dance floor, she treks her way behind the boy.
He goes inside the bathroom, the door slamming behind him. Melanie stays put outside. She could hear that he was on the phone with someone. At first, she thought it was his grandad, but his words and tone didn't match. He sounded calm or like he was trying to calm someone down.
"Tomorrow."
"Tomorrow?" Melanie whispers to herself. Huey was supposed to be here for at least a few more days.
She was slightly disappointed in the teen. She would be a liar if she said she didn't miss the boy. She missed hanging out with him, talking to him, and just his presence. Phone calls just weren't enough sometimes. She hated feeling like one of her best friends had abandoned her.
"Jazmine, you will be fine. We've gone over your presentation multiple times."
"Because I know."
There was a pause.
"I miss you too. Love you too."
A few seconds later, the bathroom door swings open, and the two teens meet eyes. Huey instantly wraps his arm around Melanie's shoulders. Like Cairo, he towered over her and made her 5'6 feel like 4'6.
"Hey, Mel, where you been? You just got here?"
Huey released her from his hold. "I've been here for an hour, maybe? But what are you getting into?"
"I'm about to slide off," Huey replies, his arms stretching above his head, revealing a small sliver of skin as his shirt rises just a tad bit. Melanie coughs and turns her head. "You wanna ride?"
"Yeah, but can you like, pick me up."
Melanie is surprised as the boy bends down slightly and lets the brown-skinned girl climb up on his back.
She can't stop her giggles as Huey carries her downstairs stairs, her nails digging into his jean jacket. Once outside, she felt herself shivering.
As they reach the Freeman's blue rental car, Melanie waits for Huey to open the doors before jumping into the passenger seat.
They sit for a minute, waiting for the car to warm up. Melanie suddenly feels something being wrapped around her shoulders. It was the jean jacket, and Melanie didn't waste time sliding it on, feeling cocooned in the warm cotton fabric.
Huey finally puts the car in drive and pulls away from the curb, leaving the loud music and chatter behind.
…
"Hey, you ready to go," Melanie hears, tuning back into the present.
"Yeah, girl, I was waiting on you."
"You like that jacket?"
"Oh, no, it just reminded me of a gift someone once gave me."

The two girls find themselves eating Wendy's at the food court because Melanie insists they make the best out of their time here before going to school.
"So...you sure you're not seeing someone?"
Jazmine answers with laughter in her voice, "No. Is that so hard to believe?"
"Yes. I mean, look at you, you're gorgeous. You're a nice girl, so why not?"
"I kinda don't see the need to be in a relationship. At least not right now."
"Why, because of Huey?"
Jazmine almost chokes on her slushie.
"What? I know I was friends with him first, but I would be blind if I didn't see how close you two are. He clearly cares about you a lot."
"Huey's just my best friend."
"But haven't you ever thought about it? I mean, Huey is very attractive." Jazmine bites her lip before stuffing a fry in her mouth. "Like I said, we're just close."
"So, you wouldn't be mad if he hooked up with someone else." Jazmine thinks about the argument she and Huey had a few months ago. Suddenly, Jazmine feels her phone vibrate in her pocket.
She quickly pulls the fluffy item out of her pocket. Her eyes quickly read the message before stuffing it away.
"Not us both getting texts at the same time," Melanie comments, locking her phone and sitting it back on the table.
"So, back to what I was saying, you really wouldn't be mad if Huey got with someone else?"
"No, why would I? Huey's allowed to do whatever he wants, and so am I," she finally replies to Melanie, who is taking a bite out of her spicy chicken sandwich.
"Really?" Melanie says, sounding a little bit skeptical.
"Yeah!"
"Well, shit, go Gina."
The two girls laugh and talk about other things as they finish eating before it is time to catch their last couple of classes.
Whew! I'm not gonna lie, I love this chapter! I just keep re-reading over and over again. I hope you all enjoyed it too. Oh, and things are only going to get better from here.
I hope to see you all soon!
Love.
