Chapter Twenty-Four: Loomis Arguement

Billy had gotten out the car and made his way back to the hotel room he shares with Sidney. He enters and sees Sidney sitting on the bed having using her cellphone to talk to Scott. She had been consoling her boys since Billy left. All three cried for the loss of their uncle Dewey.

"Hey." She said to him hanging up her cellphone.

"Hey." Billy said. "Was that William?" He asked.

"No Scott. They're hurt over losing Dewey." She said. Billy nods.

"We all are." Billy said sitting on the bed. Sidney could see his distracted facial expression and wondered what was up.

"What's wrong?" She asked.

"I met with Christine and she told me that Tara her youngest daughter is the one with the friend group. So I explained that the killer could be one or two her daughters friends." Billy said.

"How did she take that?" Sidney asked.

"She looked on scared for her daughters." Billy said as he lingered on the daughters part of his sentence. Billy sighed. Sidney caught this.

"Is there something else?" She asked.

"Yes. We talked about Sam." Billy said to her.

"What about Sam?" Sidney asked. Billy looked at Sidney and knew telling her the truth would be harder than he thought. Sidney waited for him to say something.

"She revealed something to me that changes things." Billy said.

"What did she reveal?" Sidney asked.

"There's something I have to tell you. Something I should've told you years ago." Billy said.

"What is it?" Sidney asked unsure if she was going to like what he revealed.

"When we were teenagers, you and I had been going through a rough time. This was around the time your mom had died." Billy told her.

"I remember. What about it?" Sidney asked standing now.

"Christine and I hooked up a couple of times and her daughter Sam is actual my child." Billy revealed. Sidney's face dropped.

"What the fuck did you just say?" Sidney asked.

"I cheated on you with Christine back when we were teenagers and I impregnated her. Her daughter Sam is my daughter." Billy said. 'Whack' is heard. Sidney slapped Billy's face. Tears were forming in her eyes.

"HOW COULD YOU DO THAT TO ME! HOW THE FUCK COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME!?" She asked yelling at him frowning hard at him. Billy could see the hurt on her face.

"Sid I.." Billy starts to say before being cut off.

"You know what I went through losing my mother and you were my concerned with getting your dick wet!" Sidney said. Billy looked down ashamed of his behavior. "My life was in jeopardy and you sleep with her. How could you do this to me?" Sidney asked started to cry now.

"We were teenagers and I was stupid." Billy said.

"You were an asshole!" Sidney yelled to him.

"You're right. You're absolutely right. I was a complete asshole. A stupid teenager. I shouldn't have done what I did but I can't take it back. Baby I'm so sorry. Please forgive me." Billy pleaded.

"It happened twenty years ago. Forgive you?! How can I forgive you?! You fucked her Billy!" Sidney yelled. "How can you claim to love me but you fucked her?" She asked shaking her head crying.

"Sid, I'm sorry. I was a dumb teenage boy who was horney. I wanted you but you were grieving the loss of your mom. You also started pushing me away." Billy said to her.

"So you jump into bed with Christine? Is that it Billy? Fucking her was the next option?" Sidney asked angrily.

"It wasn't like that. She was just a distraction. That's all." Billy said pleading with his wife. Sidney rolled her eyes. "I never met to hurt you. I do love you. You're the one I gave myself to because I love you. I'm sorry." Billy said to her. He didn't know what else to say. He felt bad about his actions and knew that he'd have to someday reveal this information to Sidney. He tried to reach for her but Sidney pushed his hands away frustrated and hurt. Billy stepped back giving her space.

"I need to be alone for awhile." Sidney said angrily.

"I understand. I'll give you some time." He said before leaving the room once again. Sidney sat on the bed crying. Billy listened to her cry on the other side of the door and felt horrible. He hadn't met to make his wife cry. He and Sidney have been together for over twenty years and pledged his love for her. Being with Christine was a mistake made by a teenage horney boy. He headed back to his car got in and sat there for a moment for starting the car and driving off. He knew Sidney needed time to herself to think things through.

Sidney laid on the bed she shared with Billy and sobbed. How could he do this to her? They had been together so long. She never imagined he'd do something like this but here she was crying. She needed time to think.

Meanwhile at the Carpenter house, Christine had informed Ben that she has slept with Billy Loomis and that Sam isn't his daughter. Both are arguing. Sam, Tara and Richie could hear the argument. Chad left moments earlier after getting a call from Mindy.

"When the fuck were you going to tell me this shit?!" Ben asked.

"I don't know." Christine said looking on sadly. She felt horrible. She hadn't met to hurt him.

"Oh so you were just gonna continue letting me believe that Sam is my child?" Ben asked angrily. He was right to feel the way he felt. How could she let him believe the young woman he raised wasn't his?

"I…I…I" Christine stammers unsure what to say.

"You better say something." Ben yelled taking a step closer to her like he wanted to hurt her. And in his angered state he could but probably never will. Besides he's never hit a woman a day in his life.

"I DON'T KNOW!" Christine yelled back. Ben turned away from her running his hand through his hair. Christine felt horrible. She loves him and knew this secret would hurt him deeply. Both of them were virgins but Christine couldn't resist Billy's charms. She was Ben's first and only lover. Ben had been faithful this whole time and now knows his oldest daughter isn't his. "I'm sorry Benny. I never met to hurt you. I was a stupid teenager and couldn't wait lose my virginity"

"You broke my trust. How can I ever trust you again?" Ben said angrily.

"It happened over twenty years ago. Can't we just forget about it?" Christine asked.

"Are you fucking nuts?" Ben asked her angrily. "I will never get pass this." He said. Unbeknownst to the two Sam had heard everything and was in tears. Tara could see this. "I need to be alone for awhile." Ben said storming out of the his office and out of the house.

"Papi what's wrong?" Sam asked. Ben looked at her somberly and then back at Christine. He gave her a venomous look. Then he left the house. Tara sees this.

"What's going on?" Tara asked. Richie watched feeling bad for the family. He knew what it met when someone cheats on a spouse.

"How could you do this to dad?" Sam said before going out back. She sat down crying. Did she hear right? Was Ben not her father? Was Billy her father? She sobbed sadly. Christine wanted to go talk to her to explain herself but watching Sam crying broke her heart. She thought it better to leave her alone for now.

Back at the hotel, Sidney having cried her eyes out is seated on the bed. She's looking through her phone at pictures of her and Billy together. She had to admit they looked cute together. She remembered the first time they met, their first kiss, their first time having sex. She remembered losing her mother and how Billy was there for her. He had comforted her. Sidney remembered how she had been difficult with Billy but this was due to her grieving for her loss. It had nothing to do with not wanting to be with him. She appreciated him for comforting her but hadn't realized that he was missing her. Although Sidney was mad at him, she missed him. She had a right pissed at him but also understood that the incident took place over twenty years ago. There's a knock at the door pulling Sidney away from her thoughts. She got up from the bed and went to the door.

"Who is it?" She asked.

"It's Gale." Gale responds. Sidney opens the door. "Hey."

"Hey." Sidney said solemnly.

"What's wrong? You look sad." Gale asked.

"I'm fine." Sidney said sitting on the bed with her head down.

"Where's Billy?" Gale asked.

"He's out." Sidney said not wanting to talk about him. Gale could see this and it made her curious.

"Sid what's wrong. I can tell something is bothering you so out with it." Gale said. Sidney sighed deeply.

"He met with Christine who informed him that Tara is the one with the friend group." Sidney said.

"So one of the friends is the killer. Got it. What else?" Gale asked.

"He said that she revealed something to him that he didn't know. Something changes everything. Even our relationship." Sidney said to her.

"What the hell does that mean?" Gale asked.

"She revealed that her oldest daughter Samantha isn't Ben's child but Billy's daughter." Sidney said. Gale has a shocked look on her face.

"How is that possible?" Gale asked.

"Billy and Christine slept with each other when we were together as teenagers." Sidney said to Gale's shocked expression. "It was around the time my mother was murdered." She continued.

"Damn!" Gale said. "So what now?" She asked.

"We argued. Billy left the hotel. I needed to be alone." Sidney said sadly.

"Are you and Billy getting a divorce?" She asked her.

"No. I don't know." Sidney said. "This shit is so messed up."

"Why didn't Christine tell Billy about Sam back when she was pregnant?" Gale asked.

"I don't know. I'm assuming it was because she didn't want to bother him with this information. This was when we were at Windsor College. She knew what Billy, Tatum and I went through and didn't want to bother us. She also didn't want to ruin mines and Billy's relationship" Sidney said. She had no idea how in the money her assumption was. Sidney was definitely a bright woman.

"Sounds like she was being courteous." Gale said as Sidney rolled her eyes.

"How could he do this to me Gale? I love him. I would never cheat on Billy. I've always been faithful to him. I just don't get it" Sidney said to him.

"Sidney it happened two decades ago. Can't you get past it?" Gale asked her.

"Get past it? Gale he cheated on me." Sidney said angrily. "He was probably never gonna tell me."

"Yes and it happened twenty years ago." Gale said Sidney shook her head. "Listen to me." Gale said as Sidney looke over at her. "He cheated yes and it was a mistake. He never shouldve cheated on you and maybe he never would've told you if not for Christine revealing that Sam was Billy's and not Ben's. However, Sid Billy loves you. I know what he did what he did. I assume his excuse is that he was a horney stupid teenager. Who cares. The point is I don't think Billy met to hurt you. I do know that he loves you. He chose you and you two been together ever since." She said to her. Sidney deeply realizing Gale was right. Billy does love her and they have been together ever since. Gale rubbed her shoulder. "Do you love him?" She asked.

"Of course I do. I'm just mad." Sidney said.

"No you're hurt and that's ok. Bill does love you. You're gonna have to find a way to forgive him." Gale said.

"I will." Sidney said to Gale. "Thanks."

"It's ok. We have to focus on finding the fucker who killed Dewey and the others." Gale said. Sidney nods.
