Luz POV
I can't even begin to imagine how much Bella's been dealing with. I don't know her very well, but I know that she's a sweet girl. I know how much she means to Amity and the twins. I also know how hard she worked to get us all back to the Isles when she saw Amity and I in that bookstore. I was genuinely surprised to learn that Amity had family in the human realm, but never visited it for herself.
-Flashback-
" Amity, I know how difficult this is for you, but I'm sure that things will be okay." I swear to her. " Amity? Amity Blight? Holy shit what're you doing in the human realm?!" A sweet female voice squeals. Amity's head snaps up and she grins widely. I follow her gaze and spot a girl with pale skin, witch-like ears, but they're a bit rounded, and beautiful brown hair, with eyes just the same. Who is this girl? " Bella-bear?! Oh my titan, I can't believe it!" She replies excitedly. Amity gets up to hug her, and I can't help but to feel a bit jealous. " Oh, Bells. This is my girlfriend, Luz. We're in a bit of a... situation... to say the least. Is Uncle Charlie around?" Amity asks. Uncle Charlie? Would he be Odalia or Alador's brother? " Hey, Amity? How do you know this girl?" I ask. The girl, Bella, looks completely shocked by my question. " Amity Analiese Blight! You've never mentioned me before?" She growls. Bella turns to me, extends her hand, and says " Hi, I'm Bella Swan, Amity's favorite cousin." Favorite cousin? What, does she have siblings? " Now, Am. Is it just you two, or are there more full-witches I need to know about?" Full-witches? What, is she not a witch then? " Yes, There's Gus, Willow, and Hunter." Amity tells her. " Okay, I know who Gus and Willow are, but who the hell is Hunter?!" She demands. " Oh, he's the former Golden-Guard." I reply. Bella glowers at me and steps back. " You're affiliated with him?" She snarls. Tufts of fur start to puff out from her skin. " Bella, please. Calm down." Amity begs. " Hey. It's alright! Hunter won't hurt you!" I tell her. She glares at me and says, " Won't hurt me? Ha! You're cute, dear. That monster ruined my life! He posed as my friend, earned my trust, and the next thing I know I was kidnapped, loaded onto one of the emperors ships and forced into his shit-show coven!" She roars. Suddenly, Bella is gone, and in her place is a raging Titan-like creature. How is that possible? Does she have the same curse as Eda?! " Isabella! Honey, it's alright! Everything will be alright, pumpkin spice." Someone calls. I look behind me and see a man, most likely her father, running towards us, a bottle of the elixir in his hand. " Girls, step back. Now!" He orders. Amity grabs me by the wrist and tugs me away as Bells starts slashing at the air, her white claws whooshing just inches away from my face. " Now, Bella. It's alright. Everything is alright." He coos to her. Bella's brown eyes widen and she gently nuzzles her father. I watch as the man removes the cork from the bottle and feeds the elixir to his little girl. The beast vanishes and Bella returns to her proper form, asleep on the floor. Huh, the curse must take a lot out of her. " Is everyone okay?" The man asks. I spot a beast keeping coven sigil on his left arm, and the Emperor's Coven sigil on Bella's. " It's fine, Charles. Nobody was injured. But what got the poor thing all riled up this time?" One guy asks. " Somebody mentioned the G.G, and she got pissed. Can't blame her after the hell that boy put her through." He replies coldly.
-Flashback End-
She must've been miserable when she actually saw him again. But, she did put Hunter through a solid brick wall, so I'd say she got him back for what he did. Afterwards, they made up. I think it's sweet that even after that hell, she was able to be pissed and move on from it. Although, I wonder if she knows the truth about Flapjack's death. I mean, I wouldn't be surprised if she did.
Nobody ever told her what happened to Flapjack. Hunter's scared to tell her about what he did that night. He thinks she'll just get mad at him again, and after how hard he worked to mend their friendship, I don't think he's ready to lose that again.
Hunter POV
Bella was my closest friend before I traded her to Belos. I spent so long regretting that decision. She hated me for betraying her when I knew how she felt about the coven system. I can't believe that I was so prepared to make the Emperor proud of me that I would hurt the girl I saw as my little sister. Honestly, I wasn't even given the order to find more witches who are worthy of being Coven Guards, but I watched her take down a full grown demon by herself. She was maybe six at the time, I was eleven.
Watching such a young child use magic so powerful was incredible to watch. Especially since she had no staff at the time. I never knew that someone could be so powerful on their own. Bella's Dad instantly disliked me, which I suppose is fair. I mean, any parent would be uncomfortable with their six year old becoming friends with an eleven year old. For all he knew I was going to molest his daughter!
But, Charlie never told Bella to quit hanging out with me. He just gave her a pocket knife and a thing of pepper spray. I was actually really glad that he cared enough to give her a thing of pepper spray and a knife to defend herself in case I really was some creepy guy that intended to hurt her. Bella seemed embarrassed, but it was nice to know that if she got uncomfortable, then she could look out for herself.
" Hey, Hunter! What's up?" A sweet voice calls. I look up and see Willow jogging over to me. I smile a bit at the sight of my captain. She's always been the toughest witch around.
" Not much, Captain. Just finishing up another palisman order." I reply smiling.
" Ah, what was the request this time?"
" A unicorn for a young lady on the knee."
" Aww, that's so cute! I bet she'll love it!"
I smile at the thought. I hope that she'll love it. I out a lot of work and care into every palisman that I carve.
" Hopefully. Have you heard from Bella recently? She's dodging my calls again." I ask.
Willow POV
I knew Bella since we were little kids. If she's dodging someones calls, then something's going on in her home life that's got her stressed out.
