Summary/Disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Shadows of Legends. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Ducktales, Disney and Jymn Magon do.

(Duckberg.)

Marvin noticed Scrooge and the triplets before they saw him when it came back to it. Marvin cleared his throat.

"Uncle Scrooge, your never guess who came back!" Webby yelled only for the McDuck legend turned to him.

"Marvin Canvasback, is that you?!" Scrooge asked as Marvin smiled and nodded. "I haven't seen you since you were a wee lad with your mother! You and Webby used to turn the manor upside down." Scrooge added which caused Marvin to rub at the back of his head.

"Yeah, I was kinda getting used to having friends, Mr. McDuck." Marvin said while scratching at the back of his head. "By the way? My mom says hi, I think I have a letter for you from her…" Marvin said as he finished inside his pocket for it.

Marvin knew his mother had met the McDuck clan legend while handling work. The woman was always so busy to the point where it made Marvin wonder how she slept.

Then again? She was a Canvasback… And Canvasbacks didn't give up when it came down to it.

"Aye, your mother sent you here?" Scrooge asked before snapping his fingers. "I forgot that Webby was busy typing up a letter for you all week… She was camping outside the post office for weeks… It's a shame that her friend Lena isn't around." Scrooge stated which caused Webby's shadow to move.

His amulet glowed once more. Marvin wasn't a magical expert like his mother at the moment at least… But he could tell that something was off when it came down to it.

"I wish I was around to knock the wicked witch around." Marvin said as he brushed off his jacket. "Mom wanted me to learn about magic before I arrived… I just found the letter!" Marvin awkwardly said before fishing said parcel from his pocket.

Webby blinked at her friend before her friendship bracelet glowed.

Marvin handed the letter to Scrooge who opened it as Marvin turned to his amulet. It glowed scarlet as Marvin turned to Webby.

"Huh, this thing hasn't glowed around people besides my mom." Marvin said as he started to look over it. "Hey, Webs? You were around magic, right? Just like Scrooge and them?" Marvin asked as he cracked his fingers.

The amulet glowed dimly as did Webby's friendship bracelet. Webby blinked as Marvin lowered it from his hand.

"Yeah, I got this bracelet from Lena." Webby said as Marvin smiled.

"Well, I guess there's still some magic around here." Marvin said before he placed the amulet in his pocket. "Anyway, I've got to call my mom and tell her you got her letter…. And tell everyone else I'm ok." Marvin said as he spun on his heel.

"Your mother didn't come with you, lad?" Scrooge asked as Marvin shook his head.

"Too busy running things back home." Marvin said as he hummed and looked up. "She and my dad sent me to spend time with my aunt and uncle for a few months. I kinda wanted to spend time in Duckberg anyway. I haven't been here in years." Marvin said and then turned his head.

"Anyway, see you, Webs." Marvin said and tucked his hands into his pockets. "If you guys need me, just call." Marvin said as he started to look back at the amulet.

Webby looked at her own friendship bracelet for a moment. She hadn't seen the bracelet glow since Lena had… Webby was starting to wonder what happened next at the moment as she turned to look at Marvin.

Marvin hummed and walked outside. It was a long walk to his home on the other side of Duckberg… Or he could use the fun way to get over there.

Marvin pointed his wrist up at the trees and then fired one of the arrows at it. The arrow wrapped around a branch and tugged him upwards as Marvin swung away.

Webby watched as Marvin began climbing to a perch to find another thing to attach his grappling hook to.

She remembered the day she had given the crossbows to Marvin and then he said he'd be modifying them. She wasn't mad, Marvin enjoyed tinkering with everything and more often then not? She knew Marvin would have used them anyway.

Still? It was fun seeing her friend again… But now she was curious of Lena's fate. She was made of magic and shadow… And shadows couldn't die as far as she thought of it.

There was some research to do on that topic as she turned and decided tomorrow to head to the library.

There was a lot of looking into a subject for her…. Webby turned and went to go and find something to do at the moment.

(With Marvin)

Marvin climbed into the rocks before running along the cliff face as he leapt down and launched another grappling hook.
