A one shot I wrote for FMA Day 2013, it's really just about the two Elric brothers dealing with a day they can't forget, set a few months after the promised day

October 3, year 11. All that is left of Trisha is her scent in the house. Burning it down is like letting it die. One-shot. In celebration of October 3rd.

It's the anniversary of That Day, and Ed feels the weight of his actions crushing his shoulders. Al decides to change that. Brotherly angst-turned-fluff! Written in honor of Fullmetal Alchemist Day.

"She's commemorating the day we burned our house down with a cake! You don't find that weird at all?" Winry's traditions are a little unorthodox, and Edward is not amused. (Happy FMA Day!)

Havoc has a question for Ed. One that he has no right to ask. But one that someone has to make sure the brothers have considered. And no one else was going to dare to voice it.

Al was just a suit of armor with a voice. Without his voice he didn't exist, not to his brother anyway. All Ed had was his touch and hearing to know Al survived the Human transmutation. Without his hearing he grew afraid that his brother would just disappear. Ed and Al struggle to cope when Ed goes deaf.
