My apocalypse life is good? Unexpectedly
"Not this one..."
"Not this one..."

"Aha!" I celebrate as soon as I find what I needed.
Unfortunately, I must keep my voice low as it may be attracting more unwanted things nearby.
Seconds later, the supermarkets electricity seems to be stopping for a moment, before activating for the second time again.
I stood there in silence like an idiot, waiting for something that might never come, but cautions do must take.
A sound of footsteps, as though someones running and rustling of the wheelcarts for use, and some growling from the undead.
It's heading towards my direction. Damnit!.
"H- Hey, Y- You!" A man in heavy makeshift gear called out to me, from his expressions I could see that he's scared.
But too late, the undead have already got him.
While he's being eaten alive, he's looking at me in a way that is to tell me to go run away.
I shrugged it off and opened a bag of melonpan, and ate it in front of the undead.
Surprisingly, they weren't caring about me.
"...how..." The old man passed away shortly.
Somehow, I felt like what little humanity left within me has gone.
"I'm home Komachi"
"How's the scavenging results today brother?" My sister hugged me tightly.
"We can live for approximately six weeks with this much"
"Right" she went back to the sofa, it may seem like she's happy, but I know she's trying to suppress it.
Ever since the accident, the undead seems to look at me as if I'm one of them. Which is a good thing, since I can protect my sister now.
Awful appearance and being good at hiding my presence must have to do with it.
"Komachi, I'm going to bed"
"Alright..."
End
