Author's Note: Welp, here we are again ladies and gentlemen. Another update! Twice in a day really lol. I'm going to finish this fanfiction and once I am done I may do one or two things: sequel or a reboot. I'll put the poll up and whatever comes out on top at the end of March, that will be the story that I will write for this crossover. Anyway, that being said, be aware of curveballs in this story, wink-wink. Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this story as much as I have enjoyed writing it. Please leave reviews, they are always appreciated!
UPDATE: Also have you guys noticed that these chapters are getting longer and longer? LOL.
Also, just a nod and a wink, ever since Paradox intervened and he wiped everyone's memory, he also undone everything – to some extent of what happened prior to Seryu getting the Nemetrix. Again, watch the curve balls.
ENJOY!

Chapter LVI: Kill the Temporal Error
HER HATRED FOR Night Raid was known. It was no secret she wanted nothing more but to personally ensue the condemnation of the elite assassination group linked to the accursed Revolutionary Army. This alleged "Crusader for Justice" stared at the duo on top of the cliff with hellish ire. The flames of aversion and disgust overwhelmed the disturbed girl. Her only mission in life, up until this point, was to enforce her version of justice upon this group.
Until he came.
Ben Tennyson was a wild card; equipped with a mysterious Imperial Arms that would allow its user to transform into mysterious beings greatly disturbed her. Anything she threw at him, he countered. It didn't matter if it were the weapons she had in store, or the brute force Korro itself, nothing could get pass him. Absolutely nothing. She knew nothing about this guy and yet her hatred for him was 10-fold. Day by day, her ire for the Green Changeling would double, triple, quadruple, dectuple, and so on. He came to personally ensue the destruction of the Empire, at least according to her.
Her mind cracked, her muscle tightened, her teeth clenched, ripping itself amongst the nerves. Her hatred had transformed her into an irredeemable monster. She became the very evil she had pledged to destroy. Ever since that morning, her mind had been surprisingly numb. Her memory was scrubbed a bit, it was as if everything that had happened prior had never happened – except for her accounter with the Changeling. Her feelings for him hadn't changed. If there was nothing more she dreamed about more was to see the young man's head on display at the Capitol's townsquare – like the savage like she was.
Though, if you were raised in a morally questionable world, you yourself would become a morally questionable person; and for a man or woman to break from that societal norm was considered a rebellion against the nest.
Seryu was in deep thought; prior to her meeting with Night Raid in this deep canyon, for a minute there was some form of clarity.
AT THE WOODS – A FEW DAYS AGO
It was immediately after their battle against Night Raid and the accursed Ben Tennyson. She was patrolling the wooden areas after given strict orders to not follow, battle, or fight Ben Tennyson under no circumstances. Of course she disagreed with those orders, but since these were from General Esdeath, they did carried some form of weight – to some degree. Alas if you were as dedicated and as warped as Seryu, if they were a high-class criminal, they were eligible to die in her eyes. Every crime: be it high or low, petty or felonious were subjugated to the extreme forms of punishment – death.
The Empire was starting to learn of this Ben Tennyson and of how much of a threat he really was to the mighty Emperor and the honest Minister. They can't just put his symbol up because well...no one will know what that symbol meant or how to find it. Though, Esdeath prevented the Minister from putting out Wanted posters of the man...at least not yet, The police force was underway trying to find out who this Ben Tennyson, where to find him, and how.
She walked around a small village that was recently ravaged by a gang of criminals and thus previously from a swarm of carnivorous Danger Beasts had a black flag with a white circle enveloping a familiar green hourglass symbol in the middle flying high.
Unlike many villages who had the Revolutionary Flags flying, this one had Ben's symbol flying all over the place. Though this village is small and well...underdeveloped in some way, but they didn't pose no threat at all. They still had the Imperial flags here and there, but most of them happen to be Ben's symbol. It got so confusing that some of them even put his symbol and merged it with the Imperial symbol.
Nonetheless, this was unacceptable. Ben was the enemy. He attacked her and her officers over and over and over again. He was dangerous! She still hadn't healed from the last fight she had with him. She was about to go ahead and apprehend the masses who were celebrating, buying merchandise, as well as talking favorably about the Changeling.
She growled and gritted. Her fist clenched and her arms bled. She shook like a man freezing at sub-zero temperatures. She was ready to explode. She was about to open her mouth to summon her weapons and Korro was just about ready to obey...until young man spoke to another Imperial Officer, one she did not recognize...must be new to the team, wanted to talk about this Ben Tennyson guy. The couple did not wear any Ben 10 gear or bore his flags. They were just normal people just going about their day.
"Yes we heard of him. Him and that young woman who assisted him," said the man. Seryu listened, her ears stretched wider as far as the eye could see. "He saved our lives. When you Imperial Officers were off in the castle doing who knows what, that villain you call him saved us."
"Any payment?" the Officer asked.
"No. No payment, just said to keep safe. We offered him money and he just refused it. At least he was a hero compared to that other lady with that dog. She killed my daughter, just for some petty theft! That monster!" he ranted.
Her anger subsided. A monster? She was only doing her job as an Imperial Officer, a soldier. She was doing something right for the people. More and more shared that same sentiment. The more she was in that village.
Monster.
Demon.
Killer.
Abuser.
Tyrant.
She shook. Her hands sweated, her breath...out of sync. What was going on? Sure she wasn't perfect, but wasn't she supposed to be tasked onto protecting the people? Yes. But for the people to talk this much shit about her was uncalled for...at least to her. A deep, dense cloud filtered her, trapped in her self-righeous extreme piousness for justice had some cost.
She was confused. Hurt. Scorned. She was told back at the Capital that she was meant for great things. All the things she has done for the people, the goodwill, repaid in hostile vexation and crossness. Who was she serving? Justice for the benefit of the people, or was it that she held something darker in her soul that she tried to suppress.
Having all these people talking favorably about the man who have defeated her over and over again was like getting shot by a 12-gauge in the back of the head in a loop. A never ending pattern of getting shot in the head with no reason behind it – at least to her.
How can a person like Seryu ever compete with that?
"Whatever the Capital said about that young man, they're wrong. He's not like Night Raid. He saved us," he said.
"But he's wanted in the Capital for taking out our Officers," said the Officer.
"Yeah, but how many of them are alive?" said one.
Now that he mentioned it...all of her Officers that day, say for a few surgeries to help with their hearing loss, are all still alive and kicking. Sure, he harmed some of the Officers. Plus, the day they met was met with hostility.
"And here you are trying to recruit an innocent civilian..." she remembered her saying to Night Raid.
Part of her wanted to go ahead and burn this village to the ground for insubordination and aiding the rebellion, but if she did that, and if questioned, what would be her defense.
All of these people were supporters of the Imperial Capital. Sure, they held banners of his symbol, but they still bore flags with the Empire on them. Things were...complicated. Difficult to explain.
"Am I the monster?" Seryu asked herself; "But I'm fighting for justice and equality, why would I be considered a monster?"
Seryu stood for a good minute trying to collect her thoughts and rationalize all of this to what has happened.
All the voices extrapolated, collecting, increasing. The trauma of her father, dead in the line of duty, Bols...dead. Everyone dying left and right.
The amount...the total sum of deaths piling up would warp anyone from at best to the perpetual state of stoicism or pure insanity at worse.
In Seryu's case, it was insanity. She had gone crazy, but that brief moment of clarity had opened up in the young Officer's head that had never been allowed to enter within a foot of an elephant's tail.
Nuance.
Nothing was ever pure evil or pure good. There were instances where things were...grey. At that moment, she thought and thought – until that moment she snapped when the memory of her father replayed in her head.
The world is a dangerous place to live; not because of the people who are evil, but because of the people who don't do anything about it. There will always be those who will stand up against evil forces. Remember that~
Remembering this, her eyes narrowed, her arms shaken. Her breathing became irratic. She took a deep breath, locked eyes with her canine Imperial Arms, stretched her arm out, and with a cold tone in her voice, commanded:
"Korro: phase 8," she said with a very cold, calming tone. Korro complied; he opened his wide mouth, engulfed Seryu with it; with it, Seryu was carrying a large arsenal of anti-tank weaponry and missiles carrie dalong her back like she was a walking military killer robot.
PRESENT
Seryu stood for a minute, weapons in hand, ready to go. Korro looked at Seryu with worrying eyes, wondering what was going on.
She noticed that Ben, who was up on the cliff wasn't acting hostile towards her. Though him being aligned with Night Raid was confusing – instead of making her curious and wanting to see if Ben could be convinced to join her side, she wanted nothing more but to kill him – personally.
It didn't matter if Ben was innocent or not, or if he committed crimes or not, or if he participated in criminality or not, it was the fact that: A – he was in Night Raid's pay-grade; and B – his name was Ben Tennyson and thus was eligible to die.
On top of the cliff, Mine had her Pumpkin ready. She was about ready to shoot this broad dead. Her smle, never leaving her, her reserved jokes were ready to go, and her finger was itching to pull the trigger. Ben's hand was on his Ultimatrix, ready to go ahead and take this woman down. However, a thought came to mind.
He had spent a few days if not weeks in this universe. He had gotten to know the members of Night Raid pretty well, and had established himself with that organization, even to the point if there was any harm to them, he will not hesitate to step in to defend them wherever necessary. Though, his stance of not killing was strong, it was flexible. Ben had almost taken Kevin's life out of anger and not out of nuance.
Ben remembered that he had the powers of every living creature in his device. Every single one, if he wanted to he could wipe out the Empire just by blinking if he wanted to! He had that chance to wipe out all evil with the sword of Escalon, he could have wiped out all evil people, thoughts, and everything in the like out of existence.
But if he did that, he would have been a bigger tyrant than Vilgax, no matter his intentions, good or bad. His Grandpa Max was no better anyway, he had an alleged body count – aliens and humans come to shove.
What kept him from being a Seryu, as insane as it sounded was...ironically Kevin. Kevin, Max, and Gwen – all keeping him grounded in reality just enough so that way he becomes one with the universe than better than.
There was a reason the old saying, "absolute power corrupts absolutely" exists in the first place.
Mine looked at Ben with great confusion as why he was hesitating to press the core. He was ready, so why not transform. He was focused, seeing what Seryu would do.
"Ben, what are you doing?" Mine asked.
"Something is not right," Ben said, "Normally when she arrives, she attacks first and asks questions never," Ben said; "She wasn't the type of person to think and contemplate anything," Ben said.
"Who cares! She's leaving herself wide open! Let's take her out!" Mine said, arguing with Ben.
"Wait...I have an idea, but you can't tell anybody this. Not this transformation," Ben said.
"What do you mean?"
Ben pulled out two security keys that Akame handed him; if she comes up, take a defensive position. Once I unlock it, I'll go for the kill," Ben said.
Mine had no idea what Ben was planning, but it was something big. Really big. She had no idea what transformation that was locked away, she had no choice but to trust him, even though to some extent she wanted to argue with him and let him know that whatever he was planning to do was stupid and for nought.
"I have no idea what you are doing but..." suddenly, Mine turned from the sound of a large canine grunt. Down below, emergin from Korro's mouth was a large missile.
"HOLY SHNIKEYS!" Ben yelled.
"The fuck?! Does that girl ever run out of stuff?" Mine yelled.
"Her sanity maybe?!" Ben exclaimed.
Her rocket revved, getting ready to launch, "The rebellion will never find peace! Those with no value for justice will meet their end! So trust me when I say Ben Tennyson of Night Raid! GO EAT A DICK YOU WRINKLED GREEN DUSTPIN! MWAHAHA!" she exclaimed as she launched the giant missile at the duo.
"Ha! Thanks for the big target!" Mine shot the missile down, blowing it up in a spectacular show of fireworks. Something to which amazed Ben.
"See! Whatchu think?" Mine bragged.
"Remind me not to piss you...watch out!" Ben pointed at Seryu in the air carrying a large spiked green mace in her hand.
"Looks like another point for me!" Mine shot at Seryu, only to blocked by an inflated Korro. Seryu landed on top of her injured comrade. Just mere seconds before Seryu leaped off of Korro, the Ultimatrix core finished downloaded the data.
"Transformation Lockout: Overwritten," said the Core, followed by three high beeps. Within seconds, a tall green beam erected out from the faceplate at a form of a long green chain before it split in two, forming a stream of DNA as it rapidly descended back down to the core, showing a muscular creature with horns on its head.
"Transformation 10, now available!" the Ultimatrix AI confirmed; Ben smacked the core down, blinding both Mine, Seryu, and her Imperial arms in a flash of emerald green light. Seryu hit the ground hard. Korro landed on top of her, with her back breaking its fall.
When the light died down stood a humanoid alien whose entire body was solid black, excluding its hands, which were white. It had a tiny white star-like spots all over its body, giving it the appearance of a starry night sky. Its eyes were a cosmic emerald green and lacked pupils, and its forehead bore three horn-like protrusions.
"ALIEN X!" Alien X said with three unison voices.
When Alien X appeared, it shocked Mine, and it angered Seryu/ The confusion of Mine was that she never saw Ben transform into this before. She was hoping for someone like Rath...or worse...Ultimate Rath. But no. This transformation wasn't really...exciting.
Was it dangerous? She does not know. Was it slow, fast, strong? She does not know. It just looks like an ordinary dude in black face speckled with white stars.
Seryu was enraged...like...ENRAGED! She did not like these odds at all. Granted she did not know what this form was capable of, but she was not waiting around to find out.
"I don't care what that form can do, what it is, or what it comes from! Your criminality amongst the Empire is over!" Seryu yelled with a lot of overconfidence with a hint of rage and anger.
"Ben Tennyson of Night Raid, or Alien X as you want to be called!" she and Korro charged at him at full force, "Prepare to die! Let's go Korro!"
Mine turned to look at Ben, who was standing like a statue much to Mine's frustration.
"Ben, now's not the time to stand still and look pretty! We need a little..." she stopped as she noticed Alien X's hand raised, his eyes narrow as he focused.
"Seconded: Apprehend Seryu Ubiquitous and her Imperial Arms. Motion Carried!" Alien X said as he waved his hand in a circular motion towards a flying Seryu hellbent on killing Ben...only for her to be teleported in bright blue flash only for her to re-appaear in front of Alien X at attention; Korro, now imploded back to his core was encased inside of a thick, transparent cosmic bubble. All happened in a matter of seconds.
The threat was neutralized...just like that.
Mine's mouth hit the ground. Ben, now as Alien X, just apprehended Seryu and her Imperial Arms...just like that. No motion, no nothing. Just a quick thought and boom. Threat is averted.
Seryu struggled to move as she tried to look away from Alien X. With a brief glance, she saw that her comrade, now in his core, was incased in a strange black bubble.
Her eyes widened in shock. Korro was defeated...in seconds. It appeared as if Ben Tennyson was unstoppable. Invincible! There was nothing stopping him from killing her where she stood. She couldn;t move. She couldn;t do anything. She was not warned about a person like Ben before. Nothing in the Empoire, hell, nothing in the world could prepare her for this horror that she was experiencing at this moment.
Mine was sharing that same sentiment. Grateful that Seryu was apprehended, terrified that it took Ben seconds...literally SECONDS to take down Seryu. If she thought that was bad, it got worse.
Much...much worse.
Without even touching her, Seryu's head was turned towards the creature's flaming green eyes. Seryu's fear reached its peak as she begged Ben to not kill her. It got so bad that she even begged Mine. Yes, Mine to plead him not to do whatever what he was going to do.
Mine just stood there, not doing anything. Whatever Seryu did to warrant Ben transfomr into this was in a way...terrifiyng. So she does not want to interrupt what Ben was gonna do.
She was just lucky her ass was not in its radar.
Fear was not part of her vocabulary, well it was hidden. She hid it very well, but, to see somethibg like this that could end a conflict with just a mere thought...that was scary.
"Please! Please! I beg of you, don't kill me! Don't..." Then silence. Seryu's eyes were shut. Her head nodded down. Then she nodded her head back up, her face at Alien X's attention; her eyes opened revealing, not her trademarked auburn brown eyes. No.
They were a fiery green.
"Temporal Access Granted! Seryu Ubiquitous acknowledged," Seryu said, in Alien X's voice.
"Whaaaaa!" Mine exclaimed in pure terror.
"B-Ben..."
"Seconded: give Mine of Night Raid a comfy place to sit while she waits! Motions Denied," Alien X said; "Seconded: give Mine a Minty Flavored Ice Cream with Cookie chunks! Motion Carried!" it granted as it snapped its fingers, giving Mine some ice cream. Although it couldn;t give her a place to sit.
"Um...thank you?" Mine said. Although she wasn't hungry, she was curious. She put Pumpkin down and started to investigate Alien X. She waved her hands around Alien X. Nothing.
She snapped her fingers, called his name.
Nothing.
She then turned to Seryu and noticed something strange...strange and downright scary.
She was muttering to herself...albeit quietly. It was almost as if she was talking to someone.
"I'm...a...monster..." Mine heard. It was lost on Mine until...until she has found out what Alien X was really doing.
"Holy shit," Mine said, amazed...and slightly terrified. Well...morely terrified than shocked. She got close to Seryu, her curiosity getting the best of her and snapped her fingers.
Seryu's eyes started to move. She blinked and thus she no longer had he fiery green eyes...in fact...her eyes became yellow. Her iris shrunk and her grunts became deeper...and well...annoying.
"WHAT THE HELL? WHO? WHAT? WHERE? WHAT AM I? WHO ARE YOU? AND...is that Ben as Alien X?" said a panicky, scrumpled voice.
"Seryu?" Mine asked, confused.
"Seryu" snorted and scoffed. "What the hell is a Seryu? I'm Argit! Okay? Spell it with love and grace, okay kid!?" Seryu, now identifying as Argit yelled.
Mine's eyes widen with horror.
A/N: Ah yes. Argit is making a slight cameo here. Don't worry, he's not permanent lol. Anyway, what did you guys think of me introducing Alien X in the world of Akame ga Kill universe? Did I handle it okay? Put it down in the comment box down below if you think so...or not. Honest comments are welcomed lol. Anyway. I'm gonna plan for another chapter soon.
Until next time!
PEACE!
