The walk to the Hotel was filled with questions, near all of them from Zestial, as he wondered what Vaggie had been up to.

"I heard Thy had fallen in favor of the Princess." He said, with a chuckle, "Doth she treat you well?"

Vaggie blushed a bit. This was basically a dad asking about your love life.

"She's... perfect." Vaggie said.

Zestial and Clara chuckled a bit.

"Excellent. Thou deserves such a being." Zestial said, "A fallen angel, has fallen for a demon, with the heart of an angel."

"So, can I be maid of horror when you two get married?" Clara asked.

Vaggie blushed almost as bright as the X on her eyepatch. Thankfully, they arrived at the Hotel pretty quickly, so the embarrassment was done with.

"Well, that was a fun sibling bonding time, wasn't it?" Vaggie asked.

"Yeah... sorry about that." Clara said, "I didn't expect any of that to happen."

"Well... it was pretty fun all things considered." Vaggie said, "Thanks for helping us, Zestial."

"Think nothing of it, dear." Zestial said, "Thou shall always have I by Thy side."

Zestial turned and began to walk away when the door to the hotel opened.

"Zestial, my what a pleasant surprise!" Alastor said.

"Ah Alastor, how fare thee?" Zestial greeted in response.

Clara and Vaggie stepped away to sit on the sofas in the lobby of the hotel a short way from where the pair of overlords conversed.

"I must say, I didn't expect to see you here." Alastor said, "What brings you to this slum?"

"Hmm." Zestial let out a bit amused, "I am simply helping two of Carmilla's children come home safely."

To say that Alastor was surprised would be an understatement.

'Hmm, it would seem that I missed much during my absence.' Alastor thought.

Zestial ensured his outer appearance did not change but secretly hesitated upon realizing what he had just revealed. That would be an awkward to conversation with Carmilla. Still he chuckled in response to Alastor's face freezing.

"Thou hasn't little clue. Time doth cease even for the Radio Demon himself."

"I've been busy catching up on things I've missed in my seven year absence, that I haven't focused much on the secrets of those in this place." Alastor said, "Will dear, Vaggie be at any meetings with her mother?"

"Sadly no." Zestial said, "I've said all I can. Good day, Alastor."

With that Zestial cast a final glance to Clara and Vaggie.

"If thou finds thyselves in need once more feel free to call upon me" he stated.

And with that, he walked away. He needed to go speak with Carmilla as soon as possible. Whether or not she sold the gun that nearly ended her daughters afterlife, she needed to know what transpired.

Meanwhile, back inside the hotel, Vaggie and Clara shared a glance between them Clara doing her best to avoid the gaze of a curious Alastor.

"Alastor, back off." Vaggie said, knowing he's making Clara uncomfortable.

Alastor, with his trade mark toothy grin, waved a careless hand in Vaggie's direction

"Now now, need to be so protective! I just wanted to properly greet our newest resident, especially the child of a fellow overlord such as myself"

"Her name is Clara, and that's all you need to know."

"Haha! Such a protective individual." Alastor said, "But... what can I expect? I hear siblings are meant to be."

With that, Alastor turned, twirling his microphone with a flourish

"Ta ta for now, and if you need anything Clara don't hesitate to ask!" He beamed.

Vaggie growled at him as he walked away. Thankfully, Charlie was there to ask how her day was.

"Hi, Vaggie, how was the bonding?"

"It was... fun." Vaggie said, "Right Clara?"

"Yep, most fun I've ever had." Clara said, hugging Vaggie, "Next time, you can pick where we go."

Vaggie faltered a moment but returned the embrace with a small smile.

"Y-yeah sure thing!" She agreed as she relaxed.

It was...Nice, being around someone she had considered family not so long ago. By hell's standards at least. Vaggie then looked at Charlie, it was time to tell her a bit more of the truth.

"Charlie, I want you to meet someone... Clara Carmine... my sister."

Charlies eyes widened.

"Oh, you're- OK. Nice to meet you, Clara!" Charlie stuck out her hand for the demoness to shake, "I mean, properly, that is! Wow, didn't know you had any relatives in hell. I thought you said that they found you after you fell-"

"They did... I was adopted by them." Vaggie said, "I will explain a bit more later, I just thought you deserved to at least know a bit more of my past... after all... you did help us."

Charlie nodded once.

"I understand" she placed a hand on Vaggie's shoulder and looked at Clara, "Feel free to stay as long as you want Clara!"

Charlie led Vaggie away.

"Well, for being so truthful, I think someone deserves a reward." Charlie said.

"You just want me to use the barbed wire strap on tonight, don't you?"

"... Maybe."
