Year: sometime in the year 1998

It was a bright, sunny day at the beach today, and everyone seemed to be having a great time. Most people were out there lying in the sand, soaking up the sun, while others were surfing and swimming in the shallows. A 35-year-old woman named Sarah Connor was relaxing near a beach bar, watching the people and her son, John Connor, live their lives now that Cyberdyne Systems and Skynet are destroyed, preventing Judgment Day.
Unknown to Sarah Connor, a familiar figure approached her son, John. He sat there at the bar, not knowing that he was in danger. Suddenly, Sarah turned her head and saw the figure. John turned his face and saw the familiar figure pointing a gun at him. As the scene unfolded, Sarah realized that the man pointing a gun at John was a Terminator T-800. Before she could stop it, another person sitting next to John turned around and punched the Terminator in the face hard. The Terminator kicked the gun from its hand with incredible speed and threw multiple attacks on it. Then, the T-800 grabbed the man's fist, but the man kicked it in the chest as it collapsed to the ground. Sarah froze in awe as she saw what had just happened. A stranger had saved John's life. John turned to the mysterious man holding out his hand to him. "Come with me if you want to live," the man said. Sarah ran towards them.
Sarah felt her heart pounding in her chest as she approached to see if John was unhurt. While the man picked up the gun, he approached the Connors. "Sarah Connor, John Connor. We need to go. Now!" He commanded. Sarah felt confused and asked, "Who are you?" He turned his head and saw that the T-800 Terminator was slowly getting back up. He turned back to Sarah and John. "No time to explain. We must leave...now." He insisted. Both Connor's nodded their heads and followed the man to his car. They drove off in an instant.
As the T-800 got back on his feet, he noticed that both Sarah Connor and his target John Connor had vanished, along with the man who defended John. The T-800 had no idea how this mysterious person was able to attack, catch, and disarm the Terminator so quickly, so he could assume this was another one of John's protectors sent back from his timeline to protect John. But what the T-800 didn't know was that Skynet no longer existed since Sarah, John, and the reprogrammed T-800 had destroyed Skynet and the Cyberdyne Building.
Meanwhile, the mysterious man was driving both Sarah and John to an apartment close by the airport where they could remain hidden for now until they could take a quick flight back to the united states. Sarah turned her face towards the man and stared at him. "Sarah Connor, I presume?" the man asked, wanting to make sure that she was the right person he was looking for. Sarah was surprised, how did this man know her name and how did he find her? "Answer the question, are you Sarah Connor?" this person asked again, then Sarah finally nodded her head before saying, "Yeah, I'm her… but you still need to answer my question." Sarah asked desperately for an answer. The man was conflicted to answer but finally spoke, "My name is Aaron K. Jones. I sent myself from the year 2042 to find you and John. But I wanted to ensure that you do your part in the future." Aaron said as Sarah stared in disbelief and confusion. John then spoke up, "You're another robot sent from the future." John asked as Aaron continued speaking, "Yes, I'm from the future and no, I'm not a robot. I'm actually a cybernetic-enhanced super-human. I'll explain more later."
When they arrived at the apartment, Sarah and John were following Aaron inside the building so that they could take a short rest, as the two of them stood there, Aaron took out a syringe and injected himself with the medication that was supposed to keep him from crashing. "If you are about to ask, please don't ask questions yet. For now, we need to get to the airport, so you will both do as I say. Do I make myself clear?" Aaron said while being commanding, he then held his bag, which was filled with the injection medication. Both Sarah and John were feeling uneasy and worried as they were unsure if they should trust him. Still, they both nodded in agreement, "Yes, sir, but we need…" John said, but before he could finish his sentence, Aaron took out three passports, one for each of them. "Taken care of…." Aaron said as they all got back to the car and resumed driving to the airport. When they arrived, Sarah carefully checked her surroundings, making sure that the T-800 wasn't following them and targeting John. Aaron could tell there was so much anxiety and fear building in Sarah Connor; she was worried about her son's life being endangered. "I know you're worried about John's life, but I'm also concerned about yours. Dani spoke very highly of you." Aaron said as Sarah turned her face towards him, confused about who he was talking about. "Who? Who's Dani?" Sarah asked as they boarded the plane and it soon took off into the sky.

As the plane landed safely, the three took shelter in a motel so that Aaron can explain everything to them about the future he came from. Sarah and john stood silently as aaron injected himself with insulin to keep his energy up. "okay now we are safe from it so talk NOW!" Sarah shouted as Aaron sat down on the bed staring at them "as I said before, my name is aaron k. Jones, a cybernetic enhanced superhuman solder sent from the year 2042, I served a woman by the name of Dani Ramos, leader of the resistance. She and the resistance stood up against legion; an artificial intelligence developed for cyberwarfare." Aaron said before he was interrupted by john "wait! Legion, I thought that if we've destroyed skynet it would change the future." he said showing expressions of confusion on his face. But Aaron just shook his head. "I know this is a lot to take in. you may have changed the future, but you didn't change our fate." he explained to john as sarah couldn't stand listening to all this but Aaron continued "as for the so called skynet thing, dani told me that she heard all about it from you" he said as he gave Sarah Connor a stare that left her speechless.
"she told me much about you and you were her mentor and taught her everything you knew about the machines and also about this so-called SkyNet or alternate timeline thing. She told me that during the 22 years after that T-800 killed your son on this particular year, you made it your life's mission to hunt and destroy Terminators. But what you didn't know is that the person who sent you that information was the same Terminator that killed your son in the previous timeline." Aaron explained as Sarah was trying to take this all in and process it. This went on for a few hours until Aaron finally finished speaking. "So does that explain a lot to you now?" Aaron asked them as they both stood in silence.
"Still, that doesn't explain why you want to save John. Did you want him to lead the Resistance?" Sarah asked in frustration.
But again, Aaron shook his head. "No! I want him and Dani to lead the Resistance together. I know John isn't that kind of man anymore, but what I'm saying is the truth, and I'm not playing some stuck-up matchmaker game here. This is really important to me, plus that Terminator hunting you doesn't even know that Skynet no longer exists, and if I can reason with it or it, I can get it to join us." Aaron insisted they just go along with it.
