Meanwhile, back at the airport, the T-800 exits the passenger jet as he makes his way through the crowd of people who were minding their own business and living out their lives. He is now keeping a low profile to make sure he doesn't draw any attention while searching for his main target and objective. So far the T-800 has used his sensors to scan for any signs of John Connor, his mother, and their protector, but with little luck, although in his programming, luck wasn't logical.

Meanwhile, back at the motel both Sarah and John were resting for a bit while Aaron was keeping watch to make sure that the coast was clear, they still, needed to somehow make the T-800 see reason, but just in case talking didn't work, he'll have to reprogram it. unfortunately for Aaron, he was unfamiliar with the so-called Skynet tech, but if he is to protect John, have the T-800 become their ally, also ensure that Sarah Connor goes down the path of becoming a Terminator hunter to help teach Dani Ramos how to fight the machines, otherwise everything will end in disaster.

Sarah Connor then stared at Aaron who was just sitting by the window keeping watch for the T-800 that was hunting her son, John Connor, Aaron seemed to remind her of Kyle Reese who died trying to protect her from a T-800. A tear rolled down her cheek as the memories of fear and trauma that she went through left a mental scar on her mind since her first encounter with the Terminator. To think that after 10 years since her first encounter, she and her son had stopped judgment day, only to find out 3 years later that they didn't prevent judgment day, they just delayed it. The words of Aaron echoed in the back of her mind 'You may have changed the future, but you didn't change our fate.' Sarah thought to herself as she repeated those words.

Aaron seems to notice how stressed out Sarah has become and is behaving like a traumatized teenager in a grown-up's body. This was already starting to make Aaron worry about her "Mrs. Sarah Connor, I know that you are scared and under a lot of stress about the future that is coming, but now is not the time to focus on that." Aaron said to Sarah while watching through the window. Sarah looked away and stared at John who lying on his back while he was staring up at the ceiling. "why does this keep happening, after all, we did, I thought we were able to stop judgment day and the end of the world." Sarah said openly feeling all she and John did was for nothing. Aaron only sighed "Look I know you did everything you could to stop Skynet. Now Legion seems to have taken Skynet's place, but the resistance remains. Still, there is no stopping judgment day from happening, it will only just delay it further into the future." Aaron explains to Sarah.

"but look on the bright side, at least you've saved billions of lives, including my parents. If you hadn't stopped Skynet from being created. my parents would be both dead and I would never have been born, plus you should be thankful I saved your son's life." Aaron said as Sarah took in what he meant and deep down she realized that he was right.

"you may be right about that, but Still judgment day happened in the future. not to mention nuclear war." Sarah said as Aaron turned his head towards Sarah after hearing those two words "Nuclear war? What do you mean nuclear war?" Aaron asked feeling curious and concerned about this nuclear war "What kind of nuclear war are we talking about? Is this about Skynet and if it does, then can you... explain how this Skynet judgment day timeline went down. I mean it couldn't be worse than Legion's judgment day, from what I was told, our judgment day was unexpected." Aaron added. Sarah scoffed and took a moment to put her thoughts together and John Connor sat up then he stared at his mother who was silent for a moment until she was finally ready to speak.

"I was told by someone who was sent from the future to protect me, he said that there was a nuclear war that was supposed to happen in the year 1997. that all this and everything was gone. there were survivors here and there at the time. nobody knew who started it, but then they found out later what started the war. it was the machines..." Sarah explained what she heard from Kyle Reese all those 14 years ago. Aaron stared at Sarah and understood what machines she was talking about "Skynet." Aaron answered what Sarah Connor was talking about "Yes. a Defense network computer. it was New. Powerful. it was Hooked into everything. we entrusted it to run it all. but as it got smarter...it developed a new order of intelligence. Then it viewed all humanity as a threat, not just the bad humans. It decided our fate in a microsecond...extermination" Sarah continued as Aaron listened to Sarah carefully, taking it all in. "genocide! I guess this Skynet is very similar to Legion, but exterminating humans with a nuclear strike. god, this sounds terrible." Aaron said as he felt sorry for Sarah for knowing such a terrible future. "that's not even the worst of it. this person who was sent from the future told me that he was born in the ruins of a city in Arizona after the nuclear war. at the time people were starving and hiding from what he called H-K's or hunter-killers; they were Patrol machines. Build in automated factories controlled by Skynet. Most of the survivors I was told were rounded up, put in camps...for orderly disposal." Sarah said as she explained the machine's motives. "that's almost like how Legion exterminated humanity into pockets. Except Legion never takes any prisoners, just kills humans on sight. anything else?" Aaron asked her as Sarah turned her face and stared at the wall. "yes, there was one man...who taught the survivors to fight. To storm the wire of the camps. To smash the machines to pieces until they were nothing but junk. He turned the tide of the war... he brought mankind back from the brink of extinction." Sarah explains the rise of the resistance. Aaron suddenly spoke "John Connor, your only son." Aaron said as he remembered what Dani had told him.

"so that's how the Skynet thing went down," Aaron said as he finally understood the rise of Skynet, the rise of the resistance, and Skynet's downfall. Sarah turned her face and nodded her head "So how did your judgment day begin?" Sarah asked as she was feeling concerned about how the new judgment day would go. "to be honest I was born the year judgment day began... in the year 2020. my parents told me that one day everything was working like always, but on the first day of judgment day, it didn't. Legion cut off all connections to every electronic in the world, such as computers and electricity. airplanes started falling from the sky, crashing into bridges and cities. we didn't know what panic was until it was too late. On day 2 of judgment day, the military fired a tactical EMP attack by using nuclear missiles, hoping that it would contain Legion. but it didn't work. on the third day, the war against Legion began. it was said that we were sent back into the Stone Age. global famine, and death. then Dani came along and we fought back against the machines. you get the details." Aaron said as he finished explaining his timeline of judgment day.

soon john spoke out to Aaron "Is there still a way we can stop Legion from being created?" John asked him as Aaron suddenly shook his head "I'm afraid that's just not possible, I don't even know when Legion was being developed, even if I did, the government who was developing it is highly secured and impenetrable so there is nothing we can do to prevent it. Still, I like to know more about these Skynet terminators. Mrs. Connor… I would really..." but before Aaron could finish asking, Sarah Connor suddenly interrupted him. "ms. Connor… you see I was not quite married to anyone by the name Connor so it's my surname." Sarah Connor explained as Aaron tried to process this. "then who was the father of John Connor?" Aaron asked her as John turned his face towards his mother. Sarah's face turned sad as she started remembering, she then took a deep breath and sighed "John, it's time you knew the truth…" Sarah said to him, feeling prepared to tell her son the truth about his father.

After a few hours of explaining, everything she knew about John's father, his name, and how he died protecting her. But she left out the intimacy part, feeling that it was not the time to tell John about the birds and the bees yet. Still, It's not every day that someone comes into your life just to save you from a killing machine that was trying to murder you, but ended up getting pregnant with his child who happens to be the future leader of the resistance. It seemed that John took it pretty well, but Aaron seemed a bit surprised by this information Sarah Connor had given him "Ma'am let me be honest with you, I seem to have concluded that Kyle Reese may indeed be the father of John Connor, but even though you stopped Skynet from existing, Legion took its place so there is still a chance that kyle might still have a role to play in our war against the machines." Aaron explained as Sarah tried to take this all in.

"so how do we get this robot to see that Skynet no longer exists," John asks as they all stand there silently as they are trying to figure out a plan. But then an idea just hatched in Aaron's head.

The next day, the T-800 arrived at the motel, seeing that there was a car that resembled the same car that the stranger was driving while protecting John and Sarah. As he marched up the stairs and towards the door, he began checking each room to see if John and Sarah were still there, asleep and unprotected. When he smashed the door open, he held his gun out and shot at the bed. Only then did he notice that when he removed the covers, the two people weren't there. Suddenly, out of nowhere, Aaron appeared from behind and they started fighting each other. This time, Aaron was using a long, heavy metal pole to hit the T-800 with it, but it grabbed the pole and forced Aaron into a corner. However, Aaron used some acrobatic skills to flip himself up and over the T-800 and threw multiple attacks at it. Soon, Aaron grabbed its arm and tossed the T-800 into the ground.

The T-800 was confused and shaken by this man, no human had ever fought this hard against a Terminator with such force, but then Aaron glared down at the T-800 and took out a small knife from his pocket. "In case you're wondering who and what I am, how about I show you?" Aaron said as he carefully cut the skin of his own arm and then peeled it open, revealing a strange layer of synthetic skin under the organic skin. From what the T-800 could process, this was not technology designed by SkyNet, this was something unique that even triggered the curiosity of the T-800. Aaron remained unmoved as he still kept glaring at the Terminator. "I know your mission is to terminate John Connor, but unfortunately, the timeline you originated from… no longer exists. John and Sarah Connor had already destroyed Cyberdyne Systems and SkyNet before you arrived in time. The SkyNet future had failed. So listen carefully." Aaron said as the T-800 lay there trying to process what Aaron meant by that.
