Chapter 3: Welcome to Carnelian!

August X791

Rhiannon took a deep breath as she flew up into the air on the back of her wyvern. Calypso needed to stretch her wings again, especially before they made it to Carnelian. And Rhiannon didn't mind taking a ride so early in the morning. The fresh air was good for the both of them, even if they could already feel the late summer heat on the wind.

She pushed the wyvern higher into the air, breaking through a cloud before straightening out. They hung in the air, watching the soft morning sun rise in the east. It cascaded pale yellows, purples and reds over them while they took in the calmness of the moment. Rhiannon kept them flying that way for a few minutes before moving Calypso through some daily training maneuvers. Their speed picked up and the beast flipped, soared and dodged through the sky.

After a few more minutes of doing this, she looked down at their carriage to see a spot of light green pop out of it, waving up at them. Rhiannon decided they had spent enough time in the air for the morning and made her way down towards the carriage. She landed a few yards away from the green-haired young woman, easily sliding off wyvern to walk towards the carriage; Calypso followed along behind her without order.

"Good morning, Rhia!"

"Morning, Olivia."

The young woman gave a little huff, "Even after all this time, still no calling me Liv."

"Your full name is so pretty though."

Liv thought about that for a moment before nodding her head, "Okay, fine, when you put it like that."

"You're up awfully early this morning."

She said this as they made their way towards the large, flat trailer attached to the back of the carriage. Calypso stepped onto the trailer, being just big enough for her to settle down and curl up on for their journey.

Liv gave the wyvern a scratch under the chin, "Cassie was snoring so loud, it's a wonder she hasn't woken herself up."

Rhiannon laughed at the comment, "She can be pretty bad, but she was also driving most of the night."

"I know, so you get to deal with me this morning instead."

"How lucky of me."

Liv smiled widely at that, her gold eyes lighting up. Rhiannon always sounded genuine when it came to spending any kind of time with her, and Liv always appreciated it. Even with Rhiannon being gone a lot due to her work in the military, she was one of the few people that Liv considered herself close to. So, it always felt nice that she wanted to spend time with her.

"Are we gonna be headed out then?" Liv asked, moving to put her hair up into a high ponytail.

"If there is nothing else you want to do while we're stopped, yes."

"I'm good to go. I'm excited to get to Carnelian!"

"Me too. It's been a few years since we were last here. I hope you're ready for the Moreno family again."

"Cassie's family is always a lot of fun!"

"They can also just be a lot," Rhiannon agreed with another laugh.

She guided them back towards the front of the carriage, climbing up into the driver's seat and grabbing the reigns of the two large horses that pulled them. Liv climbed up the opposite side, grabbing some strawberry food bars and two cans of coffee from the cooler they had packed. She tossed Rhiannon a bar and a can before cracking open her own coffee.

"So, you're excited about moving to Carnelian?"

Liv looked over at Rhiannon as they started moving, rubbing a hoodie covered arm across her mouth, "I am! I know we've been there a couple times before, but we're usually visiting with Cassie's family the entire time, and I never really had a chance to go exploring, especially since I was a younger kid those times. So, I can't wait to check the place out. It's a big place, so I'm sure there's a lot to discover!"

Rhiannon smiled gently at her excitement, "I'm glad you're happy about the move. We were worried if you would be upset by it or not."

Liv's face fell slightly, "Alexandrite is where I was born and grew up, but, ya know, there's just a lot I left back there…well, I guess we both left some things behind."

Rhiannon just nodded.

"But it kinda felt good to strip it all away and start fresh. I want to move forward with something new."

She said this while staring down into the now half full coffee can. Rhiannon glanced over to see a small smile on Liv's face, but there was a sadness etched into it.

"You…you wrote him, right?"

Rhiannon knew that question had been coming. She let out a sigh as she patted the younger woman's shoulder, "I did. As soon as I knew that this was what I wanted to do, I sent out a letter to your father. I sent another one when you decided to come to Carnelian with us. I also spoke to Aaron Schwartz about it as well. I'm hoping that he will be able to connect with him soon. But…I haven't heard anything back from your father yet."

Liv was quiet at first, but the coffee can in her hand soon crunched as her hand tightened around it, "What a surprise."

Rhiannon squeezed her shoulder, "I'm sure we'll hear from him soon."

"Sure."

Liv could have said any number of things in response, but that doubtful 'sure' hurt Rhiannon the most. It was hard watching someone you loved lose hope in another person. She had once considered Theo Holt a close friend, but now…she wasn't sure if she would slam the door in his face when he finally showed up or if she would punch his face in before slamming the door.

Rhiannon gently took the smashed can out of Liv's hand and popped it back into its normal shape before handing it back to her. Liv looked embarrassed about what she had done, but Rhiannon didn't give her any time to voice it.

"I'm surprised that you wanted to be a mage, but I'm looking forward to seeing it."

A smile finally returned to Liv's face, "Me too! You're my inspiration!"

"Oh? Really?"

"Yes! I don't know if I'll ever be on your level, but you inspire me to help the people around me. I can use magic, so might as well put it to some good use!"

Rhiannon smiled down at her, "I think this will be a good fresh start for the both of us."

"I think so too!" Liv said before chugging the rest of her coffee.

. : + : .

Entering the city of Carnelian was always a sight to behold. The first thing that would always catch the eyes, whether you were a visitor or a local, was the long, bright blue waterfall that came pouring down a cliff that jutted out from the mountains that surrounded one side of the city. The water came from the melting snow of the mountains. It was fully rushing currently, but it would be slower once winter came around. Regardless of the time of year, it was a beautiful and welcome site.

To the other side of Carnelian was a huge forest that seemed to carry on forever. The luscious greens of the trees swayed in the summer breeze, bringing in an earthy scent across the town. Farmlands made up the other part of the surrounding area of the city, lands that Rhiannon and her family has just made their way through. Large green stalks of corn and waving yellow wheat filled the space on either side of the road they had taken.

From the top of the hill they were on, Carnelian spread out before them. Its large warehouses and business buildings gleamed in the sun while smaller businesses encircled the town square where a large fountain was bubbling with the same bright blue water of the waterfall. The fountain was smack dab in the middle of the town with plenty of cafes and restaurants and tea shops all around it, people sitting out on patios and walking all around the area. Cobblestone in the colors of a sunset created the roads throughout the city, creating a large but simple grid system. The further one traveled from the town square, personal homes began to pop up, creating the outer circle of the city until lager farmhouses dotted the lands their wagon had just traveled through.

"It looks as beautiful as ever," Liv said, her eyes roaming over the city and its surroundings. She felt the bubble of excitement start all over again at the prospect of a new place to live and new adventures to begin.

"Yes, it does," Rhiannon agreed, "You should wake up Cassie. We'll be at her family's place in no time, and they'll be all over us," she said with a laugh, "She'll want some time to wake up before that happens."

A wicked grin crossed Liv's face as she popped up from her seat next to Rhiannon.

"Oh, Cassie! Time to wake," she said as she jumped through the curtain to the back of the wagon and onto the sleeping woman, "UP!"

There was a loud painful grunt followed by, "What the fuck?!"

Rhiannon laughed as she heard more cursing from Cassie and the pair moving around in the wagon. Eventually, Cassie popped her head through the curtain, giving her wife a small glare before she moved to sit next to her.

"Hey! That was my seat!"

"Sorry, chickadee. These are the consequences of your actions." She heard Rhiannon laugh again, "That was partially your fault, so don't laugh!"

Cassie pulled out a cigarette and lit it, blowing out the first inhale of smoke away from Rhiannon. She let out a yawn as she ran a hand through her hair, trying her best to get the short strands to look more presentable and not like she had just woken up in the back of a wagon.

"It did wake you up though."

"Tch."

"Would you rather we have let your family do it?"

Cassie thought about that, knowing exactly what her older brothers and younger sister would have done to get her up. She felt a shiver crawl up her spine as she shook her head.

"Hell no."

"Exactly, so you get Olivia instead."

"And I'm the cuter choice anyways!"

"Always so humble…" Cassie said, looking back at Liv. She watched as her golden eyes lit up with a smile, giving her a cheesy grin. Cassie couldn't help but smile in return. It had been a while since Liv looked like that. Already it seemed that the move was helping their family, "But you're probably right," she added, blowing a stream of smoke directly upwards, "You're the cuter choice."

"I knew you'd see it my way!"

The banter between the trio continued as they made their way into and through Carnelian. Once more people started to appear, a few of them nodded and waved at the family, knowing who they were, especially with a black wyvern attached to the back of their cart. Though, several people jumped away from them when Calypso lifted her head and snorted, startling them.

They continued through the town until they arrived at a large brewery made of warm red brick. On the front of the building were bold letters that read 'Sunset Stone Brewery'. Large glass windows were placed across the building while an oak door was directly under the bold lettering.

"We made it!" Liv said before she jumped out of the wagon to make her way inside.

Cassie quickly followed her while Rhiannon made sure they were out of the way on the road. The blonde made her way back to Calypso, patting the creature on the head.

"Stay here and try not to scare anyone. We'll be making our way to the house soon."

This earned her a snort from the wyvern, but the beast stayed on the cart to wait.

Rhiannon made her way into the brewery where most of the Moreno family would be for the day. She heard the family before she was even inside. There was much fawning over Cassie and Liv, like always, and plenty of laughing and loud voices.

"RHIA!" was the echoing result when she stepped into the building.

Several people looked her way, including Cassie's father, brothers, sister, and a number of aunts and uncles and cousins. They had all stopped what they were working on to greet them with wide smiles. The first to greet her was Cassie's father, the man stepping up to her and pulling her into the usual tight hug she had come to expect from him.

Abraham Moreno was a man of a large and wide stature. He wasn't quite as big as Aaron Schwartz, but Rhiannon was certain he had the broadest shoulders she had ever seen. He was quite suave with a mop of dark brown hair that always looked like he had taken time to style it along with a well-groomed beard and mustache. He smelled of wheat and a home-cooked meal, and his beaming smile and welcoming aura had her smiling in return.

Rhiannon might have lost a father in Gareth, but she had most definitely gained one in Abraham.

"Rhia, my sunshine! I'm so glad to have you home!"

If Rhiannon had been the type to let her emotions get the better of her, she probably would have cried right at that moment. No one had ever made her feel more at home than the Moreno family, not since her mother passed away when she was a teenager. While they had always been a loud and bickering family, they also always had so much love to give. She always considered herself lucky to have found Cassie and her family.

"Thank you, Abe," she responded as she watched Liv jump right into talking with the cousins. It was a rare, but much welcome sight to see her daughter settling in so quickly. Though, this was also Liv's family, and they had accepted her with welcoming arms since the first time they had brought her with them to Carnelian, "We are very happy to be home."

Her gazed wondered over to Cassie, who was speaking with her siblings. She wore an easy smile as she playfully pushed one of her brothers and the rest of them started laughing.

Abraham turned to look at his family along with Rhiannon, "It's wonderful to have everyone together again."

"It is."

"Thank you for bringing all my treasures home."

"I'm sorry it took so long."

"You're here now."

Rhiannon felt her emotions build up again. No blaming, no expectations, nothing. Just a warm welcome and happiness that they were there. Before the emotions became too much, he gently patted her shoulder.

"Besides, we have plenty of time now to make up for lost time. It'll be like you always lived here with us!"

Rhiannon let out a sigh of relief, "I'm sure it will be. Where is Sofia?"

"She is at home with one of her sisters. She wanted to make sure the house was ready for you all."

"You all didn't need to go out of your way-"

"Of course, we did! It'll be a tight squeeze while you're staying there, but we still wanted to make you feel welcome!"

She laughed at his quick response, "Well, thank you very much. We should probably get heading that way soon. I'm sure a wyvern on a cart isn't a normal sight to see here."

"Then I suppose we should round up your two and get everyone back to work."

Abraham let off a loud whistle, giving out loud orders to get everyone working again. Cassie spoke with her father for a few more moments before he shooed them off to head towards home.

. : + : .

"My babies!"

Sofia Moreno let out a shout that could rival Abraham's as she came running out of the large house to greet them.

The house sat closer to the forest side of Carnelian, its backyard spilling into said forest. The house was easy to spot as it was painted a pastel yellow with bright white shutters. Flowers, trees and small animals and birds filled the yard all around it. It was easy to see it had several rooms, being a wide two-story house, but they needed the space, considering a large chunk of the Moreno family lived there or were constantly visiting or coming over for food.

Sofia quickly pulled Cassie and Rhiannon into hugs before snatching up Liv and pulling her into the tightest hug yet. Liv laughed as she was swung around by the older woman. She was a thicker woman, having built up muscle from her years working at the brewery. Her dark hair was up in a messy bun, a few strands framing her face.

She finally pushed Liv back away from her to give her a good once over, "Have they been feeding you well? I'll be making a feast for tonight, but let's get you something now! Can't start your life here hungry!"

"Ma! We feed her just fine!" Cassie said as she followed her mother inside, the older woman dragging Liv along with her.

"It's not enough! She's wasting away!"

"Ma!"

Rhiannon laughed at them as she made her way back to Calypso, "Come on, girl. You'll be living in the backyard until we find our own home and get a proper stable for you."

Calypso eagerly made her way off the cart, following Rhiannon towards the backyard. Once they were at the far back of the yard, the wyvern stretched her legs and wings, shaking her head in the process.

"You have free reign of the forest for hunting. Just be careful not to scare any of the citizens of the town. There's also a large stream in the forest. And you have the run of the backyard for sleeping. Sound good?"

This earned her another snort before she took off up into the air. Rhiannon watched as the wyvern evened herself out and flew off over the forest. She nodded, knowing that she would entertain herself for a while.

Rhiannon turned back towards the house, but soon heard Cassie and her mother arguing over food again. Deciding to get a few errands done before being pulled into the house for the rest of the day, she snuck around the house back to the front yard. She let out a loud laugh when she saw Liv standing in one of the front windows, staring her down with a look that called her a traitor.

"I'll be back soon. Be good!"

"Liv! Come here!" Sofia called while Cassie showed up in the front room to drag the young woman to the kitchen.

. : + : .

Rhiannon stood in front of a large, empty warehouse that was located on the mountainous side of Carnelian. The outside of it was a bit worn down, but with enough elbow grease, it could easily be polished up.

"Considering it has been out of use for a few years, it's in fairly good condition."

Rhiannon looked at the lanky redhead that stood next to her. She was dressed smartly in black pants, heels, blouse and a blazer. A leather briefcase was in her left hand while her other hand carried two folders.

"I agree. I appreciate you working with me long distance until we could get to town, Ms. Green."

"This isn't my first rodeo. And you can call me Tonya. I'm sure we'll be seeing more of each in the near future. You had mentioned that you and your wife were going to be looking into buying a home."

"We are, but this and the apartments were the more important matters to take care of."

"Understandable. Would you like to take a look inside? It's not much right now, but you should still look it over completely before signing off on the paperwork."

The blonde nodded as the two women made their way inside.

It was spacious inside, having been mostly cleared out since it was last used. There were a few scraps of metal, paper and plastic strewed across the floor, but it would be easy enough to clean up. There were stairs that led up to the second floor on either side of the long room they stood in.

"There's plenty of space in here for a proper bar like we spoke about. It should be easy enough to set one up, and your wife has connections to set you up with a good brewery," Tonya winked as they walked around the first floor, "And still more space for tables, chairs, mission boards, and any other things you think to add. The upper floor gives you even more space for whatever you wish to do, especially if you wish to give your mages a place to relax. There's even an office space up there for you."

Rhiannon closed her eyes and imagined the guild in full swing. Warm colors and a welcoming bar, Cassie manning it. Her mages spread out at all the tables and barstools. Laughter echoing in and out of the place. People coming to seek them out for their help. It was so close now; she could see and smell and hear it all.

"There is also plenty of land around you to expand in the future. I specifically chose this warehouse not just because of its size and conditions, but also because it sits in the middle of a few other warehouses that are not being used. You can easily buy those up at a later date."

Rhiannon looked back at her in surprise, "A later date? Don't you need to sell them?"

"They've been sitting empty this long. What's a bit more time to leave them until you can have them?"

"I haven't even opened the guild yet. Don't you think you're jumping the gun?"

"I'm quite surprised you don't have more confidence in what you're doing here," she said, flipping her hair over her shoulder, "You were a general for the military. You don't think that has some pull in drawing people here? A guild in Carnelian is a wonderful idea. It'll bring in more people and money, not just for your guild, but for our city as well. It means more trade is likely to happen, and if our city grows, well then, more people need places to live. You've practically ensured my job for the rest of my life!"

"A true businesswoman at heart."

"Precisely. Now then, are you ready to sign your life away?"

Rhiannon looked around the empty warehouse, seeing flashes of the future again.

"Of course."

November X791

Lenz stepped off the train that had just arrived in Carnelian. His breath came out in a white puff in the cold air of late fall. A frost covered the ground and the leaves that were still hanging on were in colors of deep red and burnt orange. He carried a large, dark blue duffle bag over one shoulder. This contained most of what he needed for the time being. Anything else he owned or requested to be moved to Carnelian would be coming with Aaron later in the month. He had taken up Rhiannon's invitation to come out early and stay with her and her family while he waited for the house Aaron was fixing up for him to be completed.

"Lenz."

It was the first time in three months he had heard that warm and gentle tone. It brought back many memories with it, most of them good despite how things ended. For a moment he was a soldier again, causing him to stiffly turn towards his previous commander. He almost saluted her, but he managed to catch himself at the last moment.

"It's a hard habit to kick," she said, recognizing the way his body automatically moved to the sound of her voice, "I still catch myself sometimes."

She smiled at him over a soft-looking red scarf. She also wore a red peacoat with black buttons and some black gloves. Dark jeans and red and black winter boots finished off her outfit. Taking in her casual clothing took Lenz by surprise a little. It wasn't that he hadn't ever seen his fellow soldiers wear casual clothing, but it was still an odd sight seeing his general like that…well he supposed she wasn't a general anymore. She looked like she belonged there and was out of place at the same time, like she hadn't fully adjusted to her new life. At least he wasn't alone in that feeling.

"I'm glad you decided to come to Carnelian."

"Thank you for inviting me, General Wa…Mrs…ma'am."

She got a laugh out of his fumbling, but it wasn't surprising that he wasn't sure how to address her now.

"It's definitely not General Ward anymore. And Mrs. Ward sounds strange, right?"

Lenz nodded in agreement.

"Then let's just go with Rhia."

Lenz made a face at her suggestion, "Rhia," he tried once, his face dropping even further, "That sounds disrespectful."

"I'm sure it does, considering how things were before, but I'd rather you not call me ma'am all the time."

"What about guild master?"

"Well, the guild isn't quite open yet, so it's too soon for that title."

Lenz let out a grumble as he contemplated the name situation. When no other solutions came to mind, he sighed, "I suppose Rhia it is then," he said, distaste filling his mouth all over again.

"I'm sure it'll became less strange over time," she said with another laugh, "Now then, why don't we start heading home." She looked up to see the sun setting, "It's getting dark, and dinner will be ready by the time we get back."

"Is your wife cooking?" he asked as they set out across town.

"Something like that," she answered, thinking about how Cassie was playing ping-pong ball in the kitchen with her mother and aunts as they all worked on dinner together. They knew Lenz was showing up today, so they insisted on yet another feast. She was certain that anything they could use as a reason for a huge family meal, they would. There were at least three every week.

Rhiannon felt just a tiny bit guilty in not fully disclosing how things were at the Moreno household to Lenz, but she knew if she had, he probably would have held off coming early. She was happy to see him and have him here, so if she had to omit pieces of the truth, so be it.

"You have a kid, too, right? A daughter?"

"I do!" she said, her smile widening, "I can't wait for you to officially meet her. She's also excited to meet you."

Lenz nodded again, trying to imagine what the girl was like. He wondered if she had Rhiannon's calm demeanor or Cassie's straightforwardness. Someone composed and honest would definitely be his commander's kid.

Eventually, the pair made it to the large, yellow house, the lighting inside and outside giving it a warm glow.

"Are you ready?" Rhiannon asked.

Lenz narrowed his eyes at her, "What am I supposed to be ready for?"

"You'll see."

The two walked in, and as soon as she opened the door, a blast of warmth and noise and the scent of dinner hit them in the face. No one seemed to notice them for a moment, giving them just enough time to take off their coats and boots and for Lenz to drop his bag before bright green hair popped up into view.

"You're finally back, Rhia!" Liv said as she grabbed onto the older woman and moved her in front of her like a shield, "Cameron keeps trying to use me as target practice for his slime gun!"

"No fair! You can't use people as shields!" a teenage boy said as he rounded on them from the front room.

"The last time you used that gun on me, it took me hours to get that shit out of my hair! Never again! Rhia, can you please ice him or something?!"

"No, I can't ice him. And no, you can't slime her."

"Fiiiiiiine!" they both answered.

The younger boy walked off, but before Liv could, Rhiannon grabbed her and turned her around to face Lenz.

"Olivia, this is Lenz, the young man I've been telling you about."

Liv's eyes lit up upon seeing him, "Oh, you made it!" she said, grabbing hands while bouncing around happily, which made him also bounce around with her.

'What the hell?!' he thought, trying his best to get a good look at the young woman while she bounced them around, 'Why would Rhia introduce me to someone like this?! Unless…no!'

Rhiannon put her hands on Liv's shoulders to settle her, "Lenz, this is my daughter, Olivia."

"But you can just call me Liv! I've been looking forward to meeting you since Rhia told me about you deciding to join the guild! I can't wait to work with you!"

"You're…going to be a mage?"

It wasn't much of an introduction, he did admit that, but he was just very surprised by the young woman in front of him and the fact that she was also a mage. He supposed not everyone in the guild would be like Rhia and himself, but it still threw him off guard.

"I am! It's going to be a great time!"

She started to go on about the kinds of missions they could take and what other kind of people would join.

Lenz then looked to his superior, who could only smile at him, "Rhia…" he said, still struggling with the name, "What did you-"

Lenz was cut off by loud voices as he was ushered further into the house. Over the next three hours, he was gushed over by the Moreno family and fed so much food that he thought he was going to pop. Periodically, a drink was shoved into his hand followed by a hard smack to the back from whichever family member had given it to him. He couldn't keep up with all the names of the people in the house. He barely remembered Cassie's mother and father, let alone what seemed like the hundreds of aunts and uncles and cousins roaming the place. Loud laughing and talking was constant. People interrupting and talking over one another. People bickering and arguing with each other. It was complete and utter chaos and just insane. People actually functioned like this?!

There were several times that Lenz would look over at Rhia and just stare at her. Silently asking her what the hell she had gotten him into. She could only give him an apologetic smile before leaving him to the dogs that were the Moreno family.

After what had to be the tenth dessert given to him, he finally managed to make a break for it and ran out to the backyard. He took a deep breath of the crisp air and moved out of view of the sliding glass backdoor. He let out a deep sigh of relief as he leaned back against the house, his arms crossing in front of his chest.

"They are a lot to handle."

He jumped slightly at the voice, but he heard a gentle tone lacing the words. He looked next to him almost expecting to see Rhia there, but instead it was her daughter. She appeared to be much calmer than when they first met hours ago. He noticed a sketchpad in her hand and the scaled body of a wyvern covering the page. He looked surprised for a moment before he looked up and out across the yard. It took a moment for his eyes to adjust, but the moonlight eventually showed Calypso lying in the grass.

"I'm not used to a big family like this either. Don't get me wrong, I love them, but it gets to you after a while. Sometimes I miss it just being me and Rhia and Cassie."

He turned his head to listen to her and admire her work again.

"I'm sorry if I overwhelmed you when Rhia introduced us. My people skills…they're a little rusty. Friends haven't really been my strong suit in life, so I was excited to meet you since we'll be guildmates. I figured that's a step towards being friends, so I got a little overexcited."

"It's…fine."

"No, it's not," she said, being able to tell from his tone and brief pause that everything had bothered him, "And that's ok. We can start over."

She looked away from her sketchbook and stood up from her crouched position. She stuck her hand out towards him, "My name is Olivia Holt, but you can call me Liv."

He stared down at her hand before looking back up to the soft smile on her face. She wasn't quite the calm, collected and blunt person he was expecting, but there were pieces of Rhia in there. He could see that now.

"Lenz von Saphir," he said as he shook her hand.

"I'm happy to meet you. I hope we can friends and I look forward to working with you in Vermilion Wyvern."

"It's nice to meet you, too."

While not as friendly sounding as her own greeting, Liv did admit that it was a much better greeting than that whole 'You're going to be a mage?' question she received earlier. Satisfied with their new start, she released his hand and went back to sketching the wyvern. And Lenz seemed satisfied as well, considering he stayed standing in his spot, looking out into the forest; both ignoring the shouts of their names from the Moreno family looking for them ten minutes later.

Sorry it took a bit of time for this one. My brain shut down for a bit, but I eventually got this all worked out! I really enjoyed it! I've been looking forward to showing Rhia with her family and introducing Liv and Cassie's family! And throwing Lenz back into the mix! It was just really great!

And I got to show off Carnelian and where the guild is going to be. As seen with this chapter, some time has skipped by and will skip by again in the next chapter, as these chapters are meant to show the more important bits before the guild is officially open. So, the next chapter should be the last little bit of introduction chapters before the guild is open and people start joining! I'm excited to show off all the characters that were sent in!

As always, thank you all for the lovely reviews, and for the follows and favorites! They are always appreciated, and you are all just awesome! Thank you for being so patient with me!

That should be it for now, so until next chapter!

Yours Truly,

MyDearWatson
