Chapter 12

Things have been peaceful for Suiryu.

Yet he was still curious to this new model, there was something about him that he couldn't quite put his finger on. "I feel like I know him somehow… there's just something about this guy I can't let go…"

"Didn't think you would have a man crush" Nobara joked.

"Do you want me to start swearing in this house again?" Suiryu snapped back. Just as he said such a threat, he saw Nao peering in from the living room. She has his devious look…

"Don't you dare! Besides, it's bad enough she has been going around picking up OTHER swear words. Did you know Sukuna cursed in his old tongue, she said it back at him and stunned him?"

"She would too, she's the kind to throw it back in your face, right kid?" he asked as he looked to Nao.

She quickly retreated.

"Besides, there is something going on, a shift in the air if I were to explain it…"

Nobara didn't say much but she peered at Suiryu oddly. "Did you notice the girls are getting stronger in their curse energy?" she asked bluntly.

Suiryu froze to this. "Curse energy… they have a technique?!" he never noticed before, he didn't sense it… but as he focuses, he is starting to pick up the curse energy within his daughters. "There it is…" he whispered.

"Not just them too. Wasuke and Towa have also developed a technique too. I have spoken with lady Tiamat about it, she is going to come by later on to see if perhaps… they might have to age."

Suiryu was taken aback. "You mean like what Sukuna did before? But that doesn't work on our kids"

"Sukuna doing it is one thing to our children whose fathers happen to be dragons. It's another when the mother of said dragons assist in the process." She replied. "Besides, I think it is going to be necessary… they are your girls… and they are MY girls." She decreed.

Just by saying that alone he shuttered. Suiryu can't help it either. He's outnumbered…

"I'll be with you when that occurs." He said confidently.

However, there was a look on Nobara's face that wasn't sitting well with him, it was almost like 'are you not forgetting something?' kind of look. "What?!" he asked of her.

"How come you haven't turned me yet?" she demanded. "Did you forget or something?"

He was stunned. "So… you WANT to be a dragon?" he asked curiously. He has brought it up before with her once but she appeared rather… disturbed by the notion. But now, she's asking about it with determination. "You haven't said anything before… you looked creeped out."

She sighed aloud. "I've been thinking about it with Yuko. Since you and Itadori have been doing your own thing… we've been stuck with the kids all the time."

He froze. "Aw nutbunnies, we have been doing that too, haven't we?"

Nobara snickered, Suiryu peered from the corner of his eye and saw Nao pouting, this was usually when he swears! "See kid, I'm learning too…"

"I'm going to find Mr. Fushiguro…" she muttered and wondered off.

"Ah, I see she has a new excuse besides me! So, I can't be blamed if she is swearing now! I've been good!" he protested.

"Yeah, he does swear quite often. She waits to see if Megumi's father is going to do anything crafting wise… he's getting into making his own weapons. But, sometimes…"

"Figures…" he muttered. "When we see mom, let's ask her how we can turn you. And I ask again, if you want. We will use the same method as everyone else or I find a way to keep you in ma belly!" he said with a smirk.

She rolled her eyes. "What is it with you and Yuuji doing that?" she asked. "I saw you do that with Yuko, and you had a look of bliss on your face…"

"I don't know either." He said shaking his head to it all. "I don't even get it half the time myself, but I think it's partly because I know you're safe there. I'm with you and there is no one on God's green earth that will harm you while you stay there." At the same time, for him and Yuuji, it was something they know they could do well and right by their wives.

Nobara sighed. "We'll talk about it, besides, I think everyone is tired of seeing boys having the kids… mainly Choso having all the kids…"

"Don't I know it," Suiryu said smirking. He shook his head to it all as even the brothers have come to approach him and Itadori about getting Choso to slow down.

"We don't know how many he has saved anymore!" protested Eso. "Seriously, I lost count after 482!"

"It's was 208 for me…" muttered Junpei.

"What has his wife said about it?" Suiryu asked the brothers.

They rolled their eyes. "OUR wives are trying to tell Rhea to hold back. He's a dragon now. He has hatched every high risk rescue that Rhea and her sisters had in their possession and care. Now he is slowly working on all the other eggs she has saved but now…"

It was just a lot for them to deal with.

Suiryu knows he has to speak with Choso about this, at the same time, things are not easy for Choso either. This latest adoption has turned all others on its head. After all, normally Choso doesn't show if he has eggs. Now he is getting a bit of a belly and it's growing oddly. That's just from ONE egg.

But he did promise the brothers to speak with Choso on the matter, he's going to need Yuuji to double team him…
