"Cherri, I literally flirt and act horny for a living? Why am I so nervous? I feel like I'm gonna puke," Angel ranted, pacing back and forth.
"Calm down, Angie! It's just a date."
Angel paused and flopped down on his bed next to Cherri. He buried his face in a pillow as he muttered, "But it's a date with Husker."
"So? You've fucked hundreds of guys. One more won't change things."
"But it's more than that! Sure I have but that was for my job. If I have sex with Husk… it's because I really do love him. Besides, it's just a date. We're not going to have sex."
"Then why are you so nervous?"
"I don't fucking know!"
Angel rolled over and stared at the ceiling. "I guess… it's been a while since I've done anything romantic with someone I really love. I'm scared that I'll just fuck it up and he'll hate me."
Cherri smiled softly. "Angie, he asked you out. That means he probably is starting to love ya if he doesn't already. He knows you and he asked you out anyway. If he can't love you for you then that bastard doesn't deserve ya," she glanced away and whispered. "And he'll have me to deal with."
Angel smiled, finally pulling his face from the pillow. "Thanks sugartits. I just hope things don't end up like with… Val."
Cherri's smile faded with worry. "Angie…"
"I know it's stupid. Husk isn't anything like him but after everything… I just don't know."
"Angie, Husk won't do that. Valentino is a cruel, abusive bitch and Husk is nothing like that. You'll be fine with him."
Angel smiled. "You're right. But there's one more problem."
"What?" Cherri asked, clearly worried.
"What the hell do I wear?" Angel asked, a joking smile on his face.
Another Hazbin fanfic. I wanted to write some Cherri so this is the result. This is a one-shot and will not be continued though if I get enough reviews I might write a fanfic of the actual date. I am currently working on a collection of one-shots based around Husk and they're mostly going to be just plain silliness. That should be out soon so stay tuned.
