The atmosphere was tense as the family of three were ducked down in an empty corridor in the Jedi Temple, normally attachments within the Jedi Order are prohibited but there is one singular expectation to that rule and that is a soulmate bond, they are very rare and seen as sacred in the eyes of the Jedi Order.

The man looked at his daughter, named Maia Kenobi, given her mothers last name since her father technically didn't have one. Her mother Annalise Kenobi was the younger sister of Jedi Master Obi-Wan Kenobi both being force sensitive when they were found by Master Qui-Jon Jinn both being brought to the Jedi Temple as children to undergo Jedi training.

Now her father went by Kas and nothing else. You see her mother was his soulmate which was the whole reason that she existed in the first place.

The man shoved a device towards his daughter, this was a vortex manipulator not his preferred form of transportation but it was all that he had the moment he had fled his home planet, he had worked on it so that it would take his daughter to a certain time and place, "Maia, you need to listen to me right now, it's not safe for you here... they are going to send Bounty Hunters after the few of us that remain... I've seen it, you have to go."

Maia stood with her head high and a defiant look in her eyes as she shook her head... "No, I am not going to leave him."

"Maia darling you have to." her mother pleaded with her only child.

Maia still stood in defiance of her parents "I promised I wouldn't ever leave him and I am not going to break that promise... he needs me... I am not going anywhere without him."

"There isn't time to prepare him for everything that needs to happen to keep you safe... I will be safe here because I am not a Jedi and rarely leave the safety of the temple but you are a Padawan and are constantly being sent on missions, outside the safety of the wards on the Temple. So therefore you have to go, and go alone."

"We will watch after him for you my darling girl... I will tell him myself that you did not leave willingly without him, he'll understand that your father and I were only protecting you."

Tears welled up in her eyes, she knew that he struggled with his anger and that losing her was his biggest fear. When he had revealed that to her was when she swore that she would never willingly leave him... "no I cannot leave without him... Anakin needs me, I understand that you're trying to protect me but I care not for my own safety when he needs me more." She knew that this was a risk that could mean that she would lose him to the anger and darkness if she weren't around to calm and reassure him that she was there.

She pleaded with them to fetch him and that she could prepare him when the time came but her pleas were falling on deaf ears in a last ditch effort to at least feel his presence she closed her eyes and reached out with the force beckoning him to find her, since she knew that he was in the Temple, this was how they communicated when they couldn't be in the same room for a while because of mission prep/training/meetings they communicated through the force.

Maia and Anakin had a very special bond, that let the two communicate this way.

"I'm sorry Maia, but it's time, you have to go now."

Maia shook her head, tears falling down her face, "NO!" She didn't want to leave without him...

Anakin had just finished with a mission debriefing before he was dismissed and felt Maia reaching out to him and as always he followed the feeling, and her force presence led him right to her only, when their eyes met and he saw the tears falling down her face, his face contorted in confusion having no clue what was happening.

"ANI..." was all he heard before she disappeared right before his eyes, tears streaming down her face as she yelled "no." Then she was gone in a swirl of yellow light/energy

"What is the meaning of this !" the boy snapped as an almost numb feeling crept up in his chest.

Annalise sighed, "I am sorry about this Anakin but it was to protect her, she fought the entire time not to leave you but it's for her own protection there wasn't enough time to prepare the both of you for this... or we would have... you'll see her again, I know my daughter she will fight her way back to you."

Kas sighed, the regret for forcing his daughter away clear in his eyes, "as you know I landed here on Coruscant to take refuge from a war that decimated my home and only a few people know exactly where that was and people who want us completely gone are sending bounty hunters after the few of us that survived and to protect my daughter I sent her somewhere they can't find her... it's only temporary until the threat has passed."

The man glared at the two of them... "I could have protected her."

Kas looked at the man "I'm sure you could have Anakin but there are far more dangerous threats that you have yet to learn about that will be after her not only because she is a Jedi and force sensitive, but also because of who she is to me, if they learn of her identity Maia is not even fully aware of it all... I thought there would be more time to prepare her but they will be here soon, so there wasn't enough time to fully prepare her, much less both of you."

He stormed off an anger radiating from him, the two shared a look, Annalise speaking softly... "Maybe Maia was right and we should have sent them together..."

"There wasn't time for that, Anna and you know that... Maia will come back for him and we both know that..."

Annalise sighed, "I just hope that we didn't make a mistake here Kas..." the man just kissed her on the head.

All Maia felt was numb as she screamed as Anakin's face disappeared from her sight and she continued to scream as she felt like she was falling, it seemed like hours before she finally landed on the ground in front of a man in a leather jacks with big ears and a blonde teenager but all Maia could focus on was the feeling of numbness that she currently felt and a scratch in her throat because of all the screaming and then she collapsed on the floor.

The man and blonde teenager shared a look before, he said, "help me get her inside the TARDIS to check her for any injuries, there is no way she's just a normal human the way she just appeared out of nowhere like that."

The blonde nodded and the two picked the girl up and hurried into the TAR DIS before anyone saw what just happened.

Quick note here so everything after ROTS doesn't happen also haven't completely decided yet but Luke and Leia might not exist in this universe and if they do they'll be Maia and Anakin's kids instead... Idk yet haven't really planned that far ahead at this particular moment.

Anyway I've been reading a bit of Anakin fics and been on a bit of a Star Wars kick and had the idea to do a crossover with Doctor Who and here we are with this fic XD.

Maia and Anakin's relationship is already established when this starts might do flashbacks or something from when they met and all that stuff idk yet we'll see.

I am super excited about this fic :D I already love Ani and Maia sm and

in this fic threre is no Vader or Dark Side Ani, I just had to start off with a little angst.
