Christiana was riding on a wagon with a man called Akaza's group in search of the Yaoguai. She was reading a book.

"What's that?" Akaza asked.

"Uh, a book." Christiana sassed. "I trust you've seen one before?"

"You expect to beat the fiercest creature in the land with a book?" Akaza laughed.

"Maybe she means to bore it to death." Douma said, and the strange, dangerous group chuckled.

"It will tell us how to find the Yaoguai."

Akaza took the book. "These are just scribbles."

"It's called another language," Christian sighed. "One that I know how to translate. Hmm."

"What?" Akaza snapped, eager for information.

"Oh I thought it was just, scribbles?" Christiana raised an embrow.

"We are here to protect the land, girl." Akaza lied, for they were the Kizuki. "If that book tells us where to go you shall share it with us."

"It says we'll find the Yaoguai by the lake." Christiana lied right back, fearless.

"The lake you say." Douma smiled.

"Yes." Christiana said fiercely.

"You heard her, Douma." Akaza spat the name. No love lost there. "We're going to the lake." He kicked Christiana off of the wagon. She was lucky to be alive.

"Wait!" Christiana cried, alarmed.

"Don't forget your book!" Akaza laughed and threw it to the wind and laughed.

Christiana got up and retrieved her book. "Enjoy the lake!" She smirked and reread the part in the book.

The Yaoguai prefers mountain habitats to all others.
