Chapter 4: The Color of the Moon:
Fédora's POV:
My Father and I were teaching Putilova how to dance. "How am I doing, Your Majesty," asks Putilova.
"Splendid," says my Father, "you only stepped on my foot once this time."
"You are quite graceful," says the Tsar.
"Would you like a lesson," I asked.
"No thanks," says the Tsar, "I came to deliver this!" He had another dress made.
Singer/Chorus: We get it on most every night
And when that moon gets big and bright
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight
Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark and they don't bite
They keep things loose, they keep things light
Everybody was dancing in the moonlight
Dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
We like our fun and we never fight
You can't dance and stay uptight
It's a supernatural delight
Everybody was dancin' in the moonlight
Dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody here is out of sight
They don't bark and they don't bite
They keep things loose, they keep things light
Everybody was dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight
Everybody's feeling warm and bright
It's such a fine and natural sight
Everybody's dancing in the moonlight!
"It's beautiful," says Putilova.
"So, what do you say now," asks the Tsar.
"It's nice," I said, "but now I want... a dress as bright as the Sun."
"Is it worth it," asks my Father.
"I will not give up," says the Tsar. He then leaves.
"Why are you putting him through this," asks Putilova.
"Something about him doesn't seem right," I said, "have I been wrong before?"
"Yes," they both said.
"That's... fair," I said, "let's get back to the lesson, shall we?" We then got back to it.
