Eros, an immortal god, and Psyche, a mortal human woman, were from two different worlds. However, that did not stop them from falling in love while the Son of Mammon wants to have Psyche all to himself.

2. Chapter 2 - Selfish

Chapter 2: Selfish:

Selfish's POV:

Those foolish mortals think they have a fair go with Psyche! Soon, she will be mine and nothing will stop that! The only problem is that she won't want me, but who cares? I mostly want her as a possession anyway. I just need the perfect plan to take her for myself!

"Art thee watching yond m'rtal, mine own son?" It was my Father, the Lord of Greed.

"I plan to make her mine, but I need to think of a plan!"

"As a prince of greed, thee might not but rememb'r to manipulateth daws to receiveth what thee wanteth. Rememb'r yond?"

I did not understand any of that. My Father then left. Now, I just need to wait for the perfect opportunity.
