Chapter 7: The Visit:

Grigori's POV:

I walked into the kitchen as Donkeyskin was cleaning. "And how are you," I asked.

"Oh, I'm fine," says Donkeyskin.

"So... why don't you ever take that cloak off," I asked.

"I... just prefer not to," says Donkeyskin.

"Alright then," I said.

I then stepped out.

. . .

I was greeted by Grafov. "You have a visitor," says Grafov, "he's waiting for you in the throne room."

. . .

"I am Tsar Mukhin of the Slattuigia Kingdom."

"It is a pleasure to meet you," I said, "I am Grand Duke Grigori, and this is my wife, Grand Duchess Varushkina."

"How do you do," asks Varushkina.

"Good evening," says Tsar Mukhin, "I have a problem. My betrothed is missing, and I was wondering if you have seen her."

"I'm afraid not," I said, "but we will keep an eye out."

"In the meantime, I'd like to show you around the castle," says Varushkina.

"I'd appreciate that," says Tsar Mukhin.

Mukhin's POV:

I was given a tour of the castle. "Much bigger than the last one I was in," I said.

"We also got a new servant," says Varushkina, "with a ridiculous name."

"So, anything else you'd like to show me," I asked.

"Well, have you seen my room," asks Varushkina.

"No, I don't believe I have."

That's where we went next.
