Chapter 5: Prophecy:
Selfish's POV:
I was still chasing her. "You beast, I'm already married to Hades, the Lord of the Underworld!"
Hades then showed up and he was on fire. "Hades, mate, I just thought I'd take a fair go and. Hey, are you doing something different with your hair?"
The next thing I knew, I was on fire.
Psyche's POV:
My sisters were jealous of me, but Aglaura eventually married Mesthles and Cidippe married Elpidius.
My parents, the King and Queen, then went to speak with the Oracle of Delphi.
Apollo's POV:
I saw the King and Queen of Cythera.
"Great Oracle," says the King, "what do we do about our daughter's... problem?"
"It's as if everyone's obsessed with her," says the Queen.
I had to tell them my vision. "Despair, king and queen. Your daughter will marry a beast even the gods fear. Dress her in funeral clothes and take her to the tallest rock spire in the kingdom. There, she shall meet her doom."
They then left, heartbroken.
Apollo: I've seen it all
I have seen the trees
I have seen the willow leaves
Dancing in the breeze

"Hey, Apollo! I saw the whole thing after I got burnt by Pluto! So, what's this about saying she's gonna marry another monster, when the only monster she should marry is me!"
"You don't understand, you are the monster I have foreseen," I said.
"Really? Wait, are you Gods afraid of me?"
"Well... I think my vision was exaggerating," I said.
"I'll take it!" He then left.
